She had found the strange object while picnicking with her friends, and has been fascinated ever since by it. She wanted to know something about this cylinder. "It looks like a can of... shaving cream?" She mumbled to herself. She held it with her hooves. "Hmm, its heavy like it's full, but feels half-empty. How is that possible?" She examined the can more until she spotted something about it. When she looked at the bottom, it appeared like it had something heavy in it. She twisted the bottom and it popped off. Her look turned to a confused one as she examined the contents of the canister. "What's a... Velociraptor? Triceratops? Dilophosaurus?" She questioned to herself. She levitated a book from off a shelf and examined it carefully, flipping through the pages to find something that could help her. She was surprised that none of her books had even the names mentioned. Her gaze was returned to the small tubes that were lined in a circle. "These look like DNA samples, maybe if I can put these into my "Creature Scanner", it will I identify the kind of species it is." She gleamed at the thought of using her machine again. She looked at the samples once more before heading into her lab. *** "Well, isn't that just lucky." Gerry Harding pointed out as the trio examined the cash hidden away in the boat. Nima smiled at the discovery. "To think that we never needed that damn canister, could've avoided most of this. Mios dio'." She said aloud in her Costa Rican accent. Jess looked up and shook her head, but at the corner of her eye, she spotted something rising from the water. She stood up to get a better look at what it was. "Hey dad, there's something in the water." She told her father, Gerry Harding. "Its... probably a fish sweetheart." Gerry assured his daughter. "That's a really big fish!" She said. Nima caught sight of the "fish" as well. It was getting closer, and closer... and closer. "That can't be..." She muttered aloud. Gerry walked out from the steering room of the boat and peeked into the water. His eyes widened as he realized what the "fish" was. "Oh my god... the Mosasaur escaped!" He shouted before he felt the boat being rammed by the Mosasaur, luckily not hard enough to flip it. Gerry grabbed onto a pole and held onto it, but Jessi lost her balance and fell back towards the end of the boat. In the knick of time, Nima grabbed her while holding onto another pole. The Mosasaur was turning for another round and Gerry acted fast. He ran into the steering room and flipped the wheel as fast as he could, but it wasn't enough to prevent another collision. Gerry lost his balance this time and hit his head on a metal gauge. The last thing he heard before passing out was Jessi screaming. *Two months later* Sweetie Belle let out an audible gasp as she watched the Dilophosaurus sniff around its eggs and let out to what she thought was "an adorable dog sound". She had never seen a creature quite as beautiful as this, and she saw more creatures then you could name. Her sister, Rarity, giggled at Sweetie's amusement. She had a fear of the look on the creatures face when it spotted company. Those small yet intimidating beady eyes staring, it's sharp edged teeth showing, and its crests would pop out from its neck at both sides. She gulped at it and smiled nervously at Sweetie Belle. "Deary, would you mind if I take a look somewhere else?" She asked her little sister. Sweetie Belle, still standing in amazement, nodded muttering something about getting a cutie mark in dinosaur breeding. It was things like that that made Rarity shiver. She would never leave her young sister to such... hideous creatures. She trotted nervously to a cross intersection and took out her map of the "zoo". She did however take a liking to a specific dinosaur that what at a far end of the park, and could only be visited via group travel, meaning a tour of sorts. She looked up from her map at the crowded streets of Ponyville and searched around for somepony she knew, that could help her around the park. She spotted one pony, smiled and trotted up next to her. "Excuse me, Applejack dear, would you mind escorting me around the park. I even have a map that won't help me at all." She asked the orange farm pony infront of her. Applejack turned around, revealing her sister, Apple Bloom. "Why sure Rarity, right after we watch Fluttershy feed the trike." Rarity gave her a questioned look, Applejack rolled her eyes. "A baby Triceratops." "Oh, of course." She trotted next to Applejack so her, and about 90 other ponies, could watch the animal specialist at her best. Fluttershy soon trotted out from behind a door to a shed with a huge branch in a cart pulled by her. The three trike made their way over towards the bright yellow pegasus, hungry for there meal. When she lied the branch down on the ground in front of them, she turned to the crowd. "This is called banana leaf braches, they are these young creatures favourite meal. As for the older triceratops, they can eat almost any non-poisoness plant." She instructed, eating some "oohhs" and "aahhs" from most foals. Apple Bloom smiled at the baby trike. "She's beautiful." She said at a loss for words. Her eyes glistend as she watched the trike eat the plants. "They sure are." Said Applejack as she watched the trike being guarded by a much, much bigger one. "Ah reckon that's their guardian. Well shoot, ah bet if ah had horn like those, I'd be a more protective sister." She said looking down at Apple Bloom, who just gave her a blank look. "Is that even possible?" She said with a laugh. Applejack looked next to her at Rarity, who was showing little awe at the feeding. Rarity looked back at her. "What?" "Oh nothin', come on, let's go explorin'!" "Oh, can ah come too!?" Apple Bloom asked her sister, who looked at Rarity. "Well, no sugarcube, ah don't that's..." "Sweetie Belle is over by the Dilophowhatever pit if you want to hang out with her." Rarity interrupted before the waterworks could start. Apple Bloom looked up at her sister, who rolled her eyes. "She means the Dilophosaurus quarantine." She said. Apple Bloom nodded a "thanks" and ran off to find her friend. "Now, let's go on an adventure." *** Gerry felt a splash of salt water hit his face and he opened his eyes as an instinct, panting while brushing water off his face. He looked up at Nima and Jessi. "You awake now sleepy head?" He heard his daughter ask. "Now I am, thanks." He took a look at his surroundings. "Where are we?" He asked. "Well, this isn't San Diego if that's what you were thinking." Nima said extending a hand. Gerry took it and stood back up with a grunt. "Are we... back on the island?" Jessi said nervously. "No, this doesn't look like Costa Rica, or at least not a part I've seen of it." Nima told her. "We need to find someone to help us, we can't forget that Mosasaur is still out there, we will need to tell InGen about..." Gerry was interrupted. "No more talk about InGen, understand." The father and daughter both nodded in response. "But, then who will capture the..." He was interrupted again. "The Cost Guard, all we need to do now is find out where we are." "Woah." Said a voice from above them. They all looked up to find a horse at the top of a hill. "What kind of animal could you three be?" It said in a stern voice. Right next to it was a female looking horse with wings, it had five bubbles on the side of its rear, and the male horse had an hourglass. "Mios dio', did that thing just... talk?" Nima said in a surprised manner. "Yeah I just talked... why?" The horse said in a confused manner. "Well, anyway... we need help on where we are. Apparently, you have vocal organs that allow you to translate as a human so... do you know where we are?" Gerry said in an attempt to impress the "strangers". "Oh god, not another Twilight." The male whispered, causing the female to giggle. "Oh and to answer you... your in the best town in Equestria!" The trio looked shocked in this new discovery. Jessi looked at her father. "I think we might have made a wrong turn." Chapter 2: Raptor Rescue Author's Note I apologize for this being a little bit rushed and I promise to fix this in future chapters. Also, I would like to ask the viewers if you would like to see the Mane six, CMC, or even some of the survivors. In the comments, put "Yes" if you would like to seem a couple of them die off, put "no" if you don't. By the next time I right the next chapter is the deadline. Enjoy. Chapter 2: Raptor Rescue "Say Twilight, how did you manage to create these things?" A cyan pegasus asked the purple alicorn. "They all seem a little, farfetched to be real." "Well, remember that canister that appeared in our picnic basket a couple months ago Rainbow Dash?" Rainbow nodded. "Well, it turns out there was tubes filled with these creatures embryos, using the DNA from one of the embryos, I was able to create things like... that." She pointed her hoof in the direction of a pen. Rainbow jumped at the sound of a low pitched growl. She turned to where Twilight was pointing towards and saw the source of the sound. Three 5 foot beings were slanted over, stalking the food Fluttershy had brought in for them. One jumped at it and started eating, the others soon followed. "Velociraptors - Swift Theives - are the second most visited creature in this zoo." She pointed out to Rainbow who cocked her head. "Well, these things look awesome! What could possibly be more popular than them!?" She asked, her eyes gleaming at the raptors. They both shuddered at the sound of a roar in the distance and a little shaking on the ground. "Woah!" Rainbow said turning around, only to see nothing but the maintenance shed. "That is." Twilight told her. *** "Equestrian Species... that explains the horses, but how are they talking?" Gerry questioned himself. He turned to Nima as if expecting an answer. She understood what he was waiting for, so she answered. "Maybe some sort of-" She was cut off when a sudden roar in the distance sounded, causing the horses to turn around and the female begging to go see the creature, but the trio knew that roar all to well. "Oh no... that couldn't have been a T.rex, could it have?" Jessi asked hoping for a no. "That sounded exactly like it, but I thought the dinosaurs were only cloned and stationed on-" "The canister." Nima pointed out. "What?" "The canister must somehow be here and someone must have found it." "What? Oh my god, we have to- Jessi? JESSI!?" Gerry turned around noticing his daughter was nowhere to be found. "Dammit, I thought we agreed to stop wondering off!" He called out. He and Nima climbed up to the top of the hill to find Jess, but were created by a familiar yet unfamiliar sight. There was a zoo of sorts lying in front of them, with colorful horses walking or flying about. They approached the entrance to the zoo, but before they could go in, they were stopped by a horse wearing armour with a spear strapped to his side. "Two bits for two p- eh, creatures." He said. "Homo saipiens, or humans if you will. What's a bit?" Gerry replied to him. The guard opened a small box and pulled one out and showed it to them. Thinking they probably didn't use bits since they weren't ponies the guard let them in for free, but only that once. "Thank you, I promise we'll have... bits for next time." Gerry told him, the guard just nodded and looked forward. "Now, do you think Jess is in here?" Nima said avoiding contact or eye contact with the strange horses. "Well, it's the only thing we saw once we go up here, it's the only place she could have gone." They explored around the dinosaur zoo, seeing dinos they knew all to well, the raptors, the Herrarasaurus, the dreaded Troodon that turned everything to hell. They rounded a corner and they passed the Dilophosaurus pen. Gerry's eyes widened as he spotted a yellow winged horse in there with no protection what-so-ever. "Wait, what is that one doing!?" Gerry asked to no one in particular. The Dilophosaurus charged at the horse as he stood in shock that the horse wasn't moving, just smiling. He closed his eyes as he heard the Dilophosaurus land and chirp. He opened them again when he heard no screaming. "That's a good girl." Said the horse in the pen to the predator who was lying down in front of it, getting its stomach rubbed. "How did it do that?" Nima asked aloud to Gerry. "I've never seen a Dilophosaurus so calm or... tamed for that matter." He said in response. He watched as the horse left about ten fish next to the Dilophosaurus and left as it started eating. "Oh my god, you two are so adorable!" Said a familiar voice. "Why thank ya." Said another, yet unfamiliar one. The two ran to the source of the voices and came to a stop when they saw Jessi kneeling down next to two smaller horses. One was white with a pink and purple mane, and the other was yellow with a red mane, tied up in a pink bow. Jessi turned around to see her father cross armed and Nima the same way. "JEESICA MARIE HARDING! I thought I told you not to wonder off again! Don't you remember what happened with us and Doctor Sorkin?" He questioned her daughter. Making the two young ones gulp and a few others to stare at them. "Yes I do, but that was only when we were in the tunnels, does it look like we're in any tunnels?" "No, but that's not the point, the point is sneaking off because of it. I don't want that to happen again." "It safer here, there are more safety features here then on the island. I would totally bet you that nothing well go-" "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" Someone screamed from a while away. "OH MY CELESTIA! Somepony help her!" Shouted another. The trio and Jessi's new friends ran over to the sound of the screaming and stopped once they reached the pen that read "Velociraptor". "Oh my god!" Gerry said as he saw an orange young pony with a purple mane inside the pen, a raptor stalking her, waiting for the moment to pounce. "SCOOTALOO!" Shouted the two young ones. Jessi realized that that must have been their friend. "Dad we have to help her!" Jessi told Gerry. "No, neither me or you are going in there!" "Then I will." Nima said and stared at the electric fence in front of her. "I just gotta slide under." "Alright, good luck." Gerry told her. Jessi looked down at the foals scared expressions and she patted their heads. "Don't worry, if anyone can save your friend, Nima can." They both gulped and nodded, then turned their attention back to the pen. Nima had already slid through from underneath the fence. She focused on getting the foal and escaping somehow. She started running for her, but was stopped by a two raptors who growled at her. She pulled out her machete and prepared to fight. One on her left jumped at her, but she ducked, and the raptor missed. She got back up and swung her sword at the other one, causing it jump back. "This must've been what Oscar felt." She said as she realized her fear of the situation, like she was about to die. She ran towards the foal and saw in the corner of her eye the last raptor running at her. Without thinking, she leaned her body back while moving, her legs still going forward. The raptor jumped and missed, Nima had slid underneath it. She grabbed the foal and put it on her shoulder. She turned to run back, but when she did, she ran into two raptors, ready to pounce. "BEHIND YOU!" Gerry called out and Nima looked back at a raptor jumping at her. She rolled out of its way and now had a clear path to where she got in. "RUN NIMA!" Gerry shouted again. Without looking back she ran for the gate. She was about halfway there until she felt her foot slip on a rock and she stumbled. She fell onto the ground and felt a searing pain as the raptors started to feast on her she lost her strength, and everything went black. She opened her eyes to find herself in a pen with fumbling raptors behind her. "RUN NIMA!" She heard Gerry call. She ran instinctively again, making sure not to slip this time, though she had no idea how she was alive again. She ran up to where she had gotten in and let the foal through first. She heard the raptors running at her and she just winged it and jumped through the the fence, landing after doing a front flip. She heard cheering and looked down at the foal, who was being embraced by her friends. "Hey... you okay?..." She asked the foal, she was out of breath. "Yeah, thanks to you." She said with a smile. "What was that? How did you get in there?" Jessi asked the still shaking foal. "Well, I was practicing my flying and... I bumped into some sort of electric box, I pressed a button by accident and the door opened." She said, ashamed of herself. Gerry looked up at the sound of screaming, following the others. They found the raptors feasting on ponies, one chasing them around, unfortunately catching most of them. It caught notice of Nima a screeched as it ran after them. "Nima, grab them and let's go!" He said, watching as the three somehow fit into Nima's pack. The trio started running from the raptor. "The shed!" Nima pointed out as they turned a corner. Gerry grabbed a box next to the shed, hoisted it up, threw it down on the handle, causing the lock to break. They ran inside and Gerry shut the door, putting all his weight on it while Jessi grabbed a steel pole and latched it on the handle, basically locking it again. The were all gasping for air as they surveyed their surroundings in the shed. There was a ladder in the corner of the room. "Hey, uh Scootaloo right? Did you happen to see what the button said?" She nodded. "What did it say?" "It uh... said "Push to Open", and when it opened the door, I though it was nothing." "That must've turn off the power." Nima said. "I remember in the tunnels, that blockhead Yoder wouldn't read the instructions and ending up shutting down the power." "Well, maybe this ladder goes towards it." Jessi said. "That just leads to anotha floor of the shed." Apple Bloom said, her ears drooping. *** "Where is Apple Bloom?" "And Sweetie Belle?" "And Scootaloo?" The three sisters asked aloud when the realized they didn't have their little sisters with them. "Don't tell me that..." Dash started. "They were... eatin'? That's crazy talk. Still, ah hope they're alright." Applejack told her friends. "Now Twi, why aren't the fences shockin' those thangs?" She asked the shaking alicorn. "I'm... I'm not sure. I can just turn them on again." Her horn started glowing a faint, magenta color, but it started flickering, and the light died. "What's happening? Why can't I use my magic?" She asked herself. "I can't either." Rarity said, her horn flickering off. "What's goin' on here?" Applejack said. "Why are the lights still off?" "My magic isn't working!" She said, attempting over and over again. "Mah sister's gonna become dinner!" She shouted out. Chapter 4: Tyrant TroubleSomething has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 5: Save Her!Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 3: Rescue TeamThe helicopter flew over the sea in the direction that was given to the team aboard. Two men and one pilot were on their way to another incident including dinos. "Well, you're experienced with fighting dinos," A man said. "Care to tell us what exactly we're dealing with? Oscar?" "Shut the hell up, Mike." Oscar said in a low, ruffled voice remembering he had survived the raptors attack in the power plant. "Ok big guy." Mike replied. He turned to face the pilot. "Hey Scotty, when are we going to see some dinos and some fictional ponies eh?" "We are about 15 minutes from the rescue area. We are going to land on the outside of the zoo, and you two do your jobs." Scott yelled in reply over the helicopters propellers. "I can't believe I went from fighting and even killing dinos, to saving ponies from a zoo filled with them." Oscar said to himself. Mike had over heard. "Yeah well, I went from exchanging old lamps for money, to saving ponies from dinos in a zoo. Trust me, compared to what I do, you have the fun life." "It ain't exactly fun if you're being hunted by a Velociraptor." Oscar answered with a smug look on his face. The blood on his shoulder and back was showing through his work attire. "Ok big guy, I understand." Mike said with a chuckle. He watched as he saw something on the other side of the water start to form. It had a big castle made out of the side of a cliff, a big treehouse with what seemed like crystals surrounding it, and as they closer, the zoo was visible. "Oh man, here we go!" He said as the chopper started to decline. *** "Applejack, you don't no how worried I am about Sweetie Belle, but I'm still confident that she is okay." Rarity told a clearly scared Applejack. "But ah'm worried about her wonderin' off and gettin' attacked! Fluttershy, remember when ya had to go save Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo after they went into the Everfree Forest?" Applejack looked towards Fluttershy, who only nodded. "Listen Applejack, I understand why you're worried about Apple Bloom being attacked but, I'm sure nopony would leave foal out to die." Twilight assured her friend. "If she was already dead they wouldn't have to." Pinkie said aloud. "Maybe they used her as a distraction, maybe they shook her off when she asked for help!" Applejack gulped and started shaking, "APPLE BLOOM WHERE ARE YA!?" She screamed out into the raining sky. They all started shaking a quivering as Applejack shouted. Twilight quickly covered her mouth. "Shush, don't yell out loud! You might attract a-" She whispered to Applejack, but she got cut off when a sudden rumble and the ground shaking played. "...t.rex." *** Gerry paced back and forward in the maintenance shed as he tried to think of a way to get out without alerting attention. Nima kicked a small rock, and rolled it back. "Ok, it should be ok now." Gerry said as he approached the door. Nima took out her machete and put her back against the wall next to the door. "Open it then." She said with her sword reading to strike. Gerry slowly approached the door and reached for the handle, that's when a distant call cried out. "APPLE BLOOM WHERE ARE YA!?" "*gasp* That's mah sister!" Apple Bloom said as she started for the door. Before Gerry could react, the door swung open in front of him, and he stumbled back as Apple Bloom ran out the door. "Wait, come back we don't know if it's safe!" Jessi called out to the running foal. Gerry regained and ran out the door, he turned to face the direction Apple Bloom had ran off in, but she was no where to be found. *** The helicopter landed on a flat surface right outside the zoo and Oscar jumped out. This time instead of an AK-47, he carried a SCAR-L. Although it was heavier, it was easy to handle. "So who are we looking for?" Mike asked as he got out of the chopper. "Well, I'm not sure of names, just the amount." Oscar replied. "Uh oh, that doesn't mean we have to care, like, 20 ponies on the chopper does it?" Mike asked as he surveyed the area. "No, we have to carry 12." "That's still a lot. 12 plus us, we will have..." He stood wondering what the answer was. Oscar chuckled and answered it for him. "15, now I know why you grew up to pawning things." "Whoa, low blow there." He said chuckling. He looked up at the zoo entrance. Oscar surveyed the area, looking for any trace of where the survivors could have gone, that's when he heard a cry. "APPLE BLOOM WHERE ARE YA!?" "Woah, do you think that was one of our survivors?" Mike asked. "Don't be stupid." The two held their weapons close for protection as Mike started to enter into the zoo. Oscar reached for his ear piece and turned it on. "Scott, keep that chopper running. My last pilot who left the chopper didn't get far." He said through it. A few seconds later, Scott replied. "Copy that." Oscar reunited with Mike again as they explored the area looking for surroundings. He tried to focus more on how he could find 12 different survivors in a few hours, then get the hell out. His thoughts where interrupted... by a rumble and the ground shaking.

Chapter 3: Rescue TeamThe helicopter flew over the sea in the direction that was given to the team aboard.
