Chapters After Trixie ran out of town, the two young village idiots Snips and Snails tried to tiptoed away, but were stopped by Twilight, "Now, about you two!" She scolded.
"Uh...sorry we woke up that ursa minor." Said Snips nervously.
"We just wanted to see some awesome power." Stated Snails.
"YEAH! And the way you vanquished that ursa minor was AWESOME!" Twilight made a displeased look.
The two colts lowered themselves, "We deserve whatever punishment you give us." Snips said hoping their punishment won't be too harsh.
"For starters you can clean up this mess." Twilight said pointing to the ruins of Trixie's home, "And; what do you think Spike? Should I give them number 25?"
"Ohhhh, 25 yes."Answered Spike with a mean looking grin on his face, "Anddd I think I deserve it too."
Everypony were confused why Spike believes he deserves it also, but Twilight didn't disagree so they all just went along with it. Twilight was glowing an aura which started glowing on the three boys' noses. Then mustaches appeared on them. "SWEET!" All three of them shouted.
Twilight giggled slightly then said, "And you can forget about actually cleaning up any mess, you two didn't do anything wrong."
Just then, Mayor Mare shouted from the crowd, "DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!??!?!"
Everypony gasped at this, "These two just brought a monster into town, almost costing the lives and homes of many! And succeeded in destroying one pony's life!"
Startled at this revelation, Twilight said, "WHAT!?! Whose life?"
"Trixie's of course!" Answered an angry Mayor Mare.
RD flew in front of Mayor Mare, "But that braggart wouldn't stop bragging."
"Miss Dash, she's a performer it's her job; and you're one pony to talk. You brag more than anypony in Ponyville combined." Retorted Mayor Mare.
Mayor then turned to the Mane Six (excluding Fluttershy and Pinkie), Spike, and ~~dumb and dumber~~ Snips and Snails, "All of you have behaved very poorly this day." She then said to RD and AJ, "You two have been childish and hypocritical, you two brag nonstop everyday and when somepony who's job it is to brag comes and does so you try and upstage the showoff by showing off. " then she turned to Rarity, "You may not have been a hypocrite per say, but you try upstaging the showoff by being a bigger showoff."
"NOW WAIT JUST A COTTON PICKIN' MINUTE HERE!" Shouted AJ, "Trixie's bragging was WAY too far. It's one thing to show off your talents, but she was rubbing in our faces."
Mayor Mare turned to AJ, "Be that as it may, but if you didn't like it you could have just walked away."
AJ was a bit perplexed by this, "Well..yes I guess..."
Cheerilee then stepped in, "She has a point Applejack, I keep telling my students, including your sister, that you should just ignore somepony who's bothering you. You're an adult, so you should know this."
"Well...I" Said AJ.
"AS FOR YOU!" Mayor Mare turned to Twilight, "You were right to not try to upstage Trixie, but you know perfectly well we CAN'T let Snips and Snails off the hook for what they've done!"
Mayor Mare then turned to all seven of them, "For this catastrophe and immature behavior, all of you are going to be punished."
"Twilight Sparkle! Since you DID get that giant bear out of here I'll be lenient, 10 hours of community service, starting tomorrow at 4 in the morning. And I mean BE there at 4 in the morning!!!!"
Mayor then turned to Rarity, "For helping in boosting Trixie's ego and thus driving Snips and Snails to bring that thing here you are to have 30 hours of community service."
"But...but..." Rarity tried to argue but couldn't bring herself to come up with anything.
"NO! No buts! You should have just walked away, or not try to upstage her." Replied Mayor Mare who then turned to AJ.
"AS FOR YOU! You have portrayed a very bad example for your sister Applebloom. You get 50 hours of community service."
Mayor then turned to RD, "Keep up this bragging and you may get hurt, 50 hours of community service. Starting tomorrow at 4 am."
"Gosh, I've never woken up THAT early before." Said RD.
"Well there's a first time for everything." Retorted Mayor who then turned to Spike.
"I saw you pestering Twilight to upstage Trixie! Didn't you think that Trixie may have just assaulted her like she did with Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity? Would you REALLY want to see her hurt just for showing off?"
"Gee, I didn't think of THAT." Replied Spike now realizing he actually tried to put his mother-figure in harms way.
"Well, you should have. Since you are a minor so I'll go easy on you, but you're hereby forbidden from eating any sweets or gems for three weeks." Said Mayor Mare.
"AW C'MON!" Shouted Spike raising his hands in the air.
Mayor then turned to Snips and Snails, "As for you two, you first have to clean up this mess you made as well as 120 hours of community service since you two are most at fault."
Mayor Mare started to trot away but then turned back to Snips and Snails, "And cleaning up the mess the ursa made doesn't count as community service." She took a few more steps but then turned again, this time to Twilight, "And get rid of those stupid mustaches!"
Twilight did as she was told.
As soon as the mustaches were gone Snips and Snails went, "Aw!" And Spike again threw his hands in the air and shouted, "AW C'MON!"

Author's Note
Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on Rarity. Her involvement was relatively too indirect. After all, Trixie kinda NEEDED her to challenge her for her show.
Snips and Snails are way too directly involved to get any less than what they get in here, so being minors isn't going to get them less hours.
Spike may have gave Snips and Snails the idea to bring the beast into town but Mayor Mare doesn't know it so he doesn't get community service.
To be honest I actually like Snips and Snails at first.
AJ tried to remove the giant tree that fell into Twilight'd bedroom. This tree wouldn't have fell in here if previously Rarity hadn't foiled AJ's hard work by putting every branch (AJ worked hard all day getting down) right back up. And now the tree was in Twilight's bedroom; Twilight was in way too much shock to do anything, leaving AJ to get rid of it herself, 'WAIT A MINUTE!' thought Applejack who just realized Rarity can help, Rarity was mean to her all day but AJ knew that she herself wasn't any better. But this was about helping Twilight.
"Rarity! I know that we don't see eye-to-eye, but..." AJ said to Rarity, but noticed that Rarity was picking up a bunch of books that fell over.
"Now what the hey are you doing missy!?" Shouted AJ.
Rarity just huffed, "Cleaning up this mess SOMEPONY made. Who was that? Oh yes, that's YOU!"
AJ tried moving the tree some more but just couldn't.
AJ was getting less and less patient, she turned back to Rarity, "Never mind the books, just come help me...come help Twilight; do it for her!"
"Not until you apologize!" Answered Rarity.
AJ could no longer take it, her face turned steaming red hot, "HOW CAN YOU BE SO SELFISH!?! YOU! THE ELEMENT OF GENEROSITY! ARE THE MOST SELFISH, SPOILED, ILL MANNERED MARE I HAVE EVER MET! THE ELEMENT MUST HAVE PICKED YOU ONLY THROUGH PROCESS OF ELIMINATION! NOW HUSTLE OVER HERE OR I'LL BUCK YOU ALL THE WAY TO HOOFINGTON! Twilight needs our help to get this dang tree out of here but you're too full of yourself to help a friend!"
"Well, I NEVER." Stated Rarity without turning to look at AJ.
AJ had had it, Rarity has crossed the line like nopony's business. AJ lost all sense of restraint and rushed over to Rarity and started bucking her repeatedly.
Twilight then came out of her moment of shock and rushed over to break the two mares up, "BREAK IT UP BREAK IT UP! You two are too old for this!" That comment made the brawling mares stop, but not for the reason Twilight wanted.
"Excuse me sugarcube?" Asked an exasperated AJ, "YOU wanted a sleepover. Aren't YOU too old for THAT? You're 21 years old and made me put mud on my face..."
"EP EP EP! THAT is ONE thing, but FIGHTING is another." Argued Twilight.
"Forget this! From here on out, our friendship is OVER!" Stated Rarity who then proceeded to trot home.
"But...it's raining...are you REALLY going out on a night like this?" Asked Twilight.
"A little rain never hurt anypony. Goodbye, and goodRIDDANCE!" Answered Rarity with a huff.
"Same here." Stated AJ then she too walked away.
Twilight just stood there shocked, she lost two of her friends over what she realized would have been stopped if she was herself instead of just trying to have a sleepover.
The Next Day
AJ trotted over to Twilight's. What she did yesterday was inexcusable, she just HAD to set everything right with her two friends.
AJ knocked on Twilight's library and Twilight opened the door.
"Hi Twi." Said a nervous AJ, "I just wanted to apologize for what happened yasterday."
Twilight smiled and said, "It's okay AJ; I spoke with Rarity about it earlier, and I've come to the conclusion she's been a really awful friend to both of us." That caught AJ by surprise.
"Huh? But...I..."
"AJ, it turns out Rarity only wanted to be friends with me because I know Princess Celestia. I sent a letter to Celestia and she has agreed to find a new element of generosity. It turns out the only reason Rarity was selected as it in the first place was because the way the elements work is the next ponies to find it after the previous element bearers lose custody of them are to become the bearers by the one representing the elements the most at the given moment. Because of Rarity's selfishness she is no longer the bearer; and obviously Nightmare Moon didn't have EITHER of those features."
"So, you mean, the elements DID only pick her through process of elimination?"
"So it seems." Said Twilight.
And so Rarity was no longer the element bearer and she didn't care she only wants to be clean and lazy.

Author's Note
This episode made me not like Rarity very much.
If you find this to be making Rarity really mean then keep in mind that this isn't really supposed to be all that canon. It's more for fun.
Spike had caught a cold the other day, he was sleeping in his basket. Twilight was still snickering every now and then over how he fell asleep on a hunk of ice and fell in when it melted.
Just as Twilight was reading a book, somepony knocked on her door.
Twilight walked over to see who it was, and it was her parents.
"Mom? Dad? What a pleasant surprise. Come on in." Twilight stated as she led them in.
Velvet looked around a bit, then said, "Where's Spike?"
"Oh, he's in bed. He caught a cold from falling in the lake the other day," Answered Twilight.
"Oh my." Said Night Light, "Is he hurt? That had to have been frightening for you."
"Not really *snicker* it was rather funny how he was asleep on an ice cube until it melted in the middle of the river. You should have seen him splash when to his surprise he fell in." Twilight said only to notice her parents' shocked expressions.
"Is...is something wrong?" Asked Twilight.
Velvet grew angry, "TWILIGHT TWINKLE SPARKLE! You think it's funny that Spike almost drowned then got sick?! Now I KNOW I raised you better than THAT!"
Twilight was taken aback by her mother's anger. "Well...sure...I mean..."
"Twilight!" Stated Velvet, "Imagine for a second if WE did that to YOU when you were a filly."
Twilight thought about it for a second, then realized what she had just done. She thought it was humorous that Spike (in a way her son) could've been seriously injured, or even KILLED. And as for their question on if she would've liked it if it happened to HER...shoot, Spike is more likely to survive than her on account of his thick scales and fire in his belly, but SHE may have caught pneumonia.
Nightlight stepped in, "You know, the reason we came over just now was to invite you to the Sparkle Family Reunion in Canterlot's Garden next month, but since you treat your own number one assistant like this then HE can come but YOU aren't invited." Velvet walked over to the horse-headed table and placed Spike invitation, but proceeded to keep Twilight's.
"Come along Lighty, let's leave and hope Twilight doesn't try chucking poor Spike in a tank of sharks next." Velvet stated as they both left slamming the door on their way out.
Twilight just sat in her desk and began to weep. Her own parents have banned her from the upcoming family reunion. And on a less selfish note, she put Spike, her son figure, in serious danger and found it funny. How could she DO such a thing?
Meanwhile Velvet and Nightlight were walking back to the train station.
"Honey, You suppose we were too harsh?" Asked Nightlight.
"No. What we OUGHT to have done is take Spike away from her; but I'm confident Twilight will learn from this."
"Yeah, maybe you're right." Said Nightlight.

As AJ and AB returned home from Sugarcube Corner they came upon Big Mac and Granny Smith who were eager to know how the party went.
"Well howdy you two whippersnappers; what did you do today?" Greeted Granny.
"We went to Diamond Tiara's cute-ceanera and it was fun!" Rejoiced Applebloom, "I'm glad AJ made me go."
Big Mac and granny Smith exchanged glances to each other, "Come again kiddo?" Asked Big Mac.
Big Mac doesn't talk too much, and thus when he says a complete sentence everypony listens, "I said we went to Diamond Tiara's cute-ceanera."
Big Mac and Granny glared at the two.
Granny and Mac looked towards AJ, "And what's this about 'making' Applebloom go?" Asked Granny.
"Well...I..." Applejack stuttered, wondering why her grandma and brother were glaring daggers at her, "She didn't want to go so I had to convince her. I figured it would've been wrong to not go to Diamond Tiara's..."
"APPLE JACLYNN APPLE! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF!" Shouted Granny Smith.
AJ was taken aback by this, "Whatever do you..." But she was interrupted by Granny.
"I thought I taught you better than this, you CAN'T hangout with a bad crowd! And Diamond Tiara is the worst crowd in all of Ponyville!"
"What! But I..." Stuttered AJ.
"You're too old for me to ground Applejack, but I am MOST disappointed in you." Said Granny who then turned to AB, making AB flinch but she quickly calmed when Granny spoke softly to her saying "As for you, you were caught in the moment so it wouldn't be right to punish you, but remember next time to avoid a bad crowd."
"Now then" Spoke Big Mac, "no more hanging out with bad ponies. Are we agreed?"
"Yes." Said Applejack and Applebloom at the said time, in different tones.

This was a good episode otherwise.
I am aware that Granny Smith thought Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were AB's friends but this is fanFICTION. So just flow with it please.
Twilight's head was in a plant's pot but then she jumped up and shouted, "Spike has a crush on Rarity!" Then she placed her hoof on her mouth.
Suddenly Pinkie popped up from inside a mirror, " Sigh, and you were doing so well."
Twilight couldn't take it anymore, she huffed and puffed, her face turned red, and shouted, "FOR THE LOVE OF PETE PINKIE!!!" This took Pinkie by surprise, "I NEEDED to tell them and because of this pinkie promise nonsense all THIS happened" Twilight pointed towards Rarity and Fluttershy, who were just out the door but were still visible, "NO MORE PINKIE PROMISES! From now ON we keep simple promises, and ONLY promises that don't hurt others."
"That...means...YOU..." Twilight said in Pinkie's face. Twilight walked away and Pinkie stood there, mouth agape.
Pinkie's hair deflated slightly, "What have I done?" She asked nopony in particular. Pinkie now knew she messed up big time and it almost cost Fluttershy's and Rarity's happiness.

Luna was walking along the path of Ponyville thinking about the awful night she's had. Her little ponies no longer love or admire her they believe her to be a monster who straight up eats children. 'Where in Equestria did THAT even come from?' Thought Luna, 'Nightmare Moon would never resort to cannibalism let alone US. We just hope we can end this awful holiday before somepony gets hurt...'
"Princess!" Shouted Twilight interrupting Luna's thoughts, "I'm sorry everything hasn't worked out how we wanted. But believe me when I say Nightmare Night is one of the most popular celebrations we have." That statement made Luna turn red with anger. HOW COULD SHE!?! HOW COULD SHE!??!?!?
Luna turned to face Twilight right in her face and said in the Canerlot Royal Voice, "SO! YOU DARE TELL ME THAT BECAUSE OTHERS ARE HAVING FUN AT MY EXPENSE MEANS THAT I SHOULD JUST SIT BACK AND LET THEM!?!?!?"
"Well...I..." Twilight tried to say.
"WHEN WE WERE NIGHTMARE MOON WE ENJOYED SEEING THE SUFFERING OF EVERYTHING ALIVE, AND WAS I IN THE RIGHT BECAUSE OF THAT? NO ! NO WE WEREN'T! NIGHTMARE NIGHT IS BANNED FOR IT ONLY TEACHES CHILDREN TO FEAR ME AND EVEN THAT IT'S OKAY TO HURT OTHERS, JUST LOOK AT WHAT RAINBOW DASH DOES!" Luna paused to take a few deep breaths then continued in a quieter voice, "Tell me Twilight Sparkle, do you REALLY believe that a holiday that promotes THIS kind of thing..." Luna pointed at a couple of colts throwing eggs at Derpy, keeping her pinned down while doing so, "...is okay to keep around? It has GOT to stop." Twilight was takin' aback by Luna's anger but she realized that Luna is indeed correct; every nightmare night ponies do cause serious damage, and why? For kicks.
Meanwhile with Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie was running happily with several fillies and colts. Suddenly out of nowhere the children ran in front of Pinkie, "WHY'D YOU STOP!?" Asked Pinkie in a frightened tone, "NIGHTMARE MOON IS..."
"IS DEAD YOU IDIOT!" Shouted Applebloom, "YOU should know, YOU were THERE!"
"YEAH!" Exclaimed Scootaloo, "Poor Luna just wanted to make friends with us but you got us to run away from her like she's pony enemy number one or something!"
"But...but..." Stuttered Pinkie in shock.
"This holiday is stupid anyway" Said Sweetie Belle, "Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon only ever physically bully us on Nightmare Night, earlier today those two threw eggs at me."
Pipsqueak tried to say something, but just puked.
"Come on everypony" Exclaimed Dinky, "let's go find Luna and apologize; maybe we can get some HEALTHY food and enough candy on the feat she offered earlier before we upchuck our intestines like him."
"But...aren't we having fun?" Asked Pinkie.
Applebloom turned to Pinkie angrily and said, "No, we're NOT, because Luna isn't having fun and this holiday is SUPPOSED to be in HER honor. You're an adult Pinkie and yet we kids know that bullying is wrong*Harumph*" AB turned away from the pink mare in disgust.
Pinkie just sat there in shock. Did Applebloom just call her a bully? Pinkie layed down on the ground and began sniffling, Applebloom was right, SHE (the element of laughter) just abandoned a friend in her time of need and did so in a way that allowed Pinkie to have a good time at the expense of somepony else's joy.

Those kids got caught in the moment, and yes they ran also, but in here they found out what they did was wrong and are going to fix their mistake by talking to Luna.
What? This wasn't a bad episode but poor Luna. And as for Pinkie Pie it's all fun and games but so was causing eternal night for Nightmare Moon.

Owl's Well That Ends Well
Spike, Twilight and Owlicious made it out of the Everfree Forest after barely escaping a dragon.
*huff* *puff* "Spike, we were so worried about you. I was worried about you. Why did you run away?" Asked Twilight.
"Gee Twilight." Snarled Spike, "Maybe it's because I broke my back trying to help you and Owlicious got all the love and attention."
Twilight was shocked at Spike's attitude, "What are you talking about?"
"Think about." Spike said while waving his claw, like if it was the most obvious thing ever.
"I don't know Spike."
"Think About It!" Snarled Spike.
"Spike, this game is getting old; you are grounded for..." Twilight scolded but was interrupted by Spike.
"GAME? GAME!?! GAME !!!!?! You think this is a game Twilight!? I almost died because of YOU love that overgrown pigeon more than ME." Spike took a few deep breaths to calm himself down then continued, "I may have needed help but that owl literally took my place."
Twilight then spoke in an non-scolding matter, "Spike, you're my number one assistant and that will never change, it's just I need help at night sometimes and I can't ask you to stay up late."
"Then how come you only needed his help in the DAY?" Demanded Spike, "I'm afraid our friendship is now OVER since you now have a NEW number one assistant." Spike began to walk away from his former friend, then turned his back and said harshly, "GoodBYE...MOM!"
Twilight stared in shock, then looked to Owlicious who said "who" which translates to, "I love it when a plan comes together."

Author's Note
Yes I know, Spike is being a total punk in here. But just because one side is closer to the wrong in a matter doesn't always mean the other side is in the right. Twilight claimed that owl wasn't taking Spike's place, but he kinda was.
Owlicious saying what he said at the end is a reference to how when I first saw this episode I though that owl was planning on getting rid of Spike and attacking Twilight and Spike would have to save her.
