Part 1

Chapter 1

Ponyville

I was back on the V-44 that I was on a few hours earlier. We were crashed in the compound from Operation Rising Sun. Around me were the corpses of my teammates. I was lying on the back of the pilot's chair. My IWMD and TAGs were busted, the screen smashed and a lens popped out, and my FDBV(Fire Retardant Ballistic Vest), shirt and pants were torn up. I got up and walked towards the ramp at the back, the words of Cpt. Stuck before the Griffon exploded echoing in my ears. I looked at the sun and saw that it was a solar eclipse. I hopped to the ground and in front of me stood the mercs I killed during Rising Sun. I began walking forward and quickly tripped over something. When I looked at what it was, I saw the corpse of Cpt. Howard hugging the corpse of Konrad. I looked back towards the building and saw it had been replaced by a staircase. I heard something behind me and when I looked, a large horde of spiders was coming out the back of the Griffon. I, being a huge arachnophobe, began sprinting towards the staircase. When I looked at the ground, I saw more spiders coming out of the mouths of the dead.

I ran up the stairs and the tropical island was replaced by a Brazilian Favela. It was my first mission as a SEAL. In the mission, I was hauling ass from an armed Militia instead of spiders. I ran onto a rooftop and was hoping from rooftop to rooftop towards the helicopter. On a rooftop within jumping distance to the chopper, I ran into a militia member. He was carrying a pistol, which he dropped when I accidentally pushed him off the roof. Then I heard someone behind me pulling the charging handle of an AK-47, so I immediately grabbed the pistol and turned to face the threat. What I saw made my heart skip a beat. Standing there, with an AK-47 in his hands, was a teenager, no more than 14 years old. Acting on instinct, I took aim. The voice of Cpt. Howard was blaring in my ears and I could hear the faint sound of helicopter blades. "SPECIALIST WILLIAMS, WE SEE YOU DON'T STOP!" The boy raised the rifle to his shoulder and before I knew what was happening, I pulled the trigger. Everything went in slow motion. I could see the bullet casing flying from the chamber and the bullet flying towards it's target. I could see the expression of surprise on the boy as heard a loud bang, then he looked down and saw the bullet wound in his stomach. He dropped to his knees and our eyes locked. The sound of a helicopter overwhelmed my sense of sound as the boy's face hit the roof and the AK-47 clattered to the floor. Before I knew it, I was sitting in the back of a MH-53 Pave Low with my teammates attempting to calm me down.

I awoke in a cold sweat. Konrad was disturbed by my sudden movement and looked at me with concern. I patted his head before walking to the bathroom and splashing water on my face. I walked onto the balcony and looked over Canterlot, at least that's what Celestia told me the city was called. By my estimation, it was 4 in the morning. Deciding that a walk would clear my head, I put on my IWMD and TAG before walking out the door. Before I left, I looked back at Konrad. He was already back asleep and so I continued walking. I activated the electronics, which are solar powered so I don't have to worry about them not working, and was greeted by JARVIS. "A little early for a walk sir. It is 3:47, most everyone else is sleeping."

"I know JARVIS, had a really bad nightmare. It was from Operation Clean House. I don't know what brought it up. I haven't seen anything reminding me of it, unless you can find a connection to me killing a 14 year old in self defense and me being taken to a world of technicolor ponies after being kicked out of an exploding VTOL."

"Actually sir, I believe I can. Why were you in the area when you killed him?"

"I was running for my life."

"But who were you with?"

"I wasn't. I got seperated from my team. So you're saying that because I'm alone, without my team, in this world that brought back the memory."

"Exactly sir, but I believe you have company." Our conversation was interrupted as I looked up and saw Princess Luna walking towards me.

" Hello Captain Williams, what are you doing up so late?"

"Hello Princess Luna. I had a nightmare, from my time in my world. About something I did."

"And what did you do, Captain?"

I sighed and said "You won't understand without without context." I stopped at a window and began leaning on it. "It was January during 2017. I was a specialist. There was a drug lord who making moves into weapons trafficking that was hiding out in a Brazilian favela. We called it Operation Clean House. Our team was sent to capture and interrogate his right hand man. Everything went well until the time came for exfil. We were on the rooftops running from Brazilian Militia. I was knocked of the roof by an RPG and knocked out.

I came to a few seconds later and reported to my captain the situation was FUBAR BUNDY. He told me to run to the rooftops and after a few minutes of running, I came to the place the helicopter was going to pick me up. There were 2 militia members waiting. I ran into 1 immediately, knocking him off the roof. The other was behind me with a rifle. But, but he was different from the others. He was a kid, no more than 14 years old. On instinct, I grabbed the pistol that the other one dropped and pointed it at him. He raised the rifle to his shoulder and before I knew what I was doing, I... I shot him and killed him. Before I knew it, I was in the back of the helicopter. Do you know the strange thing? I haven't had these dreams in years." I sighed again and said "Thanks for letting me tell you the story. It fells good to talk about it."

After moments of thought, she said "Certainly strange Captain. Well, I need to go to night court. Good bye. Oh yes, a guard will come to escort you to the station at 9 in the morning." I continued looking out the window before looking at the clock on my IWMD and after seeing that it was 4:15 in the morning, I walked back to my room. Konrad's ears perked as I opened the door and laid down on the bed.

After staring at the celling for a few minutes, I began browsing files on my IWMD. I eventually came across my file and began reading.

Psyc Report; MSG Williams shows signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after Operation Clean House, due to him shooting and killing a 14 year old boy in self defense. After Operation Rising Sun, claims that after his ring finger was cut off, bright white flashes brought the leader of Shadow Company and he were brought to a wallless room and they fought. He claims that only the leader and him were in the room. However the SEAL members in the room claim that he fought the leader of Shadow Company and 2 members of Shadow Company with a knife.

I stopped reading after the Psyc Report. It was 4:32 and I could feel myself falling asleep. Before I fell asleep and broke them, I took off my TAG and IWMD. I placed my hand on Konrad's head before I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I was awoken by Konrad licking my face. "Alright, alright, I'm up. Stop it Konrad." I rubbed his head for a minute before getting up and putting on my IWMD and TAG. I turned on my IWMD and checked the time. The time was 8:34. Seeing nothing better to do, I grabbed my firearms and began cleaning them. After I had cleaned them I began counting my ammo. I finished counting and discovered I had 330 rifle rounds and 220 pistol.

Suddenly there came a knocking at my door. I got up and answered the door. I saw a guard and said "Oh yeah, here to take me to the train station." He nodded and I said "Give me a minute to put on my equipment." I left the door ajar and went to put on my vest, nano gloves and WMGL. I put the pistol in the holster and grabbed the rifle before taking out the magazine, ejecting the round from the chamber, putting it in the mag and putting the safety on. I put Konrad's vest on him before whistling for him to follow.

After a few minutes of walking, we came across Twilight's friends. They convinced the guard that they would take me to the train station. After we exited the palace and began walking the streets of Canterlot, we were bumped into a white unicorn a light brown mane and his entourage. "Oh it's you. The apple farmer, shut in vet, hyperactive partier, failing racer, backwoods fashionista and the little lizard. Where's the commoner turned princess?" The prick noticed me and said  "So you're the ruffian that crashed that commoner's wedding. I heard you were different but I didn't expect a hairless monkey."

Before he could go any further, I said "There's a BIG difference between me and a monkey. A monkey will throw it's shit at you. I will send a small piece of copper through your skull at 884 miles per second, from half a mile away. So, no matter who the fuck you are, if you enjoy blood in your veins and air in your lungs, it is in your best interest to not get on my bad side." Having clearly struck fear into him, he ran off taking his entourage with him.

Rainbow Dash said "That was awesome!" and after I asked what was wrong, Rarity said

"Well, it's just that nopony has ever dealed with Prince Blueblood like that. Everpony wants to but due to his position, they're afraid of what will happen. Uh, is it true what you said?"

"Yes but only those that attack me or my friends. Let's go, we don't want to miss the train." After a moment of silence, we continued walking. The train station was a few minutes away and after buying our tickets, or in my case, have someone buy my ticket because they don't accept dollars. We sat on a bench and waited for the train. I again began browsing files on my IWMD. Before long the train arrived and after giving the conductor, we took our seats. Having browsed all files on my IWMD that interested me, I took a nap.

I was awoken by the train abruptly stopping. Then I heard someone yell "THIS IS A ROBBERY!". I immediately grabbed my pistol and inserted a magazine, deciding that the rifle isn't fit for close quarters. I began screwing on the silencer when Fluttershy asked me what I'm doing.

I simply replied "Stopping the robbery." I drew my knife, took it in a reverse grip in my left hand and waited for the robbers. I heard the door to our car open and the threats of injury from the robbers. I ordered Konrad to not attack, waited for the robber to appear and when he did, I slammed his head onto the back of the seat, threw him forward and put him into a choke hold. I turned us around and saw more robbers. I immediately pointed the pistol at them and said "You don't know what this does, so let me give you pricks some facts. I, standing right here, can kill you with this. This turns metal armor into tissue paper, so what will happen to your skin." I took the safety off and said "I just turned off the last thing stopping me from painting the walls with your brain matter and blood. Now, give everything back and leave."

"No, we're being paid to bring you to our client."

"And who would that be?"

"Let's just call him the ultimate royal pain in the flank."

"I just wonder who that could be. Let me guess, uhhh, Prince Blueblood."

He quickly said "No." but his expression betrayed his answer.

I smirked and said "Your expression is all I need. Now, the only question is whether you're going to come quietly, will force me to knock you out or force me to kill you." The robber that was in my choke hold was now unconscious. I released him, stood at full height, put the knife back in it's sheath and held the pistol in one hand. It did a good job at intimidating the robbers and the 2 behind the leader surrendered. His was determined but was visibly scared. To try and talk him down, I said "Careful, I got half a mind to kill you," I placed the other hand on the bottom of the grip and continued "and the other half agrees.". After I finished the sentence, he quickly surrendered. "Good, now tell your men to surrender, give everything back you took. You are all going to jail."

He asked "Who are you?"

"Benjamin Donald Williams, the new Captain of the Ponyville guard." He quickly went outside and began yelling that if they don't surrender it's their funeral. All the ponies that were in the cart stared at me with expressions of shock, gratefulness and fear. I went to my seat, grabbed my M27 and inserted a magazine. After taking the safety off and pulling the priming handle twice, I walked out of the cart and looked at the ex-robbers. "You come quietly or the last thing you hear is a loud bang before you fall dead or dying." They didn't look convinced that I could kill them where they stand, so I drew the pistol, took aim at someone's leg and fired. Seeing a creature take the leg out from under your buddy from 5 feet away will send fear through anyone and they quickly surrendered. "Good choice, now give everything you stole back or it's 2 in the chest and 1 in the head."

The leader said "We only got onto your car and you stopped us before we took anything."

"Well then into the caboose." Under the watchful eye of Konrad and I and the threat of attack dog and rifle, the failed robbers moved into the caboose. The caboose was empty and the conductor locked the doors to the caboose. Remembering the robber I choked out in the car, I set the rifle in my seat and threw him over my shoulder. I walked to the caboose, asked the conductor for the key and continued for the caboose. I drew my pistol and shouted "I'm coming in." I unlocked the door and added "And bullets can go through things like wood." I opened the door and dropped the robber on the floor. I immediately backed out and closed the door. I locked the door and shouted that we were ready to go. The pony at the engine car called me up and when I arrived he said

"Everything's ready to go but there's something blocking the tracks." I looked at the tracks and saw multiple tables and chairs.  Deducting in my head, I decided that explosives would destroy the tracks and fire would do the same. "Looks like we have to move them by hand or in your case hoof." I walked to the pile and picked up a table on top when suddenly the whole pile was surrounded by a brown aura. I locked back at the engineer and saw the same aura around his horn. I looked back at the pile and saw that it was being moved aside. "Well then, never mind. Nifty trick. I think I'm gonna ride up front and watch for anything." I hopped on, felt the train lurch forward and went to the car where my gear was. I grabbed my rifle and was about to go back up front when Rainbow Dash stopped me

"Hey, where are you going?"

"I'm gonna stay in the engine car and look for anything else. A few shots should scare anything off."

"Alright, I'm gonna say this for everypony, so thank you."

"No big deal. Besides my country didn't train me to die for my country, they trained me to help others die for theirs. Uh, what's up with Pinkie?" I could practically see wheels turning in her head.

Pinkie noticed my question and said "I'm trying to figure out the parties you'll need. Let's see Welcome to Equestria, Welcome to Ponyville, Congratulations on the New Job, Congratulations on Promotion and Thank You for Stopping the Train Robbery. Now, would you like separate parties or one big mega party?"

"Uh, the mega party I guess but if you'll excuse me I need to go." I cut the conversation short and moved back towards the front of the train, saying "It was nothing." when ponies thanked me for stopping the robbery. When I arrived at the engine at the engine car, I let go of the grip and began hanging of the side of the train with the grip of the rifle in my right hand.

After a largely uneventful ride, what I assumed was Ponyville came into view. "That Ponyville." The engineer nodded. I propped the rifle against the wall and took out my binoculars. I looked out towards the town and saw a large group of ponies gathering around the train station. "There's a large group of ponies gathering around the train station. Any idea why?"

"Maybe a roaming pegasus saw the robbery. Maybe word spread fast on how you accidentally crashed the princess's wedding. Other than that, maybe I didn't notice a celebrity get on." I looked back through the binoculars and saw cameras and what looked like stereotypical reporter hats.

"Hey looks like reporters." I put the binoculars away and grabbed the rifle before putting the safety on and muttering "Never did like the media." The train approached the station and I began formulating a plan in my head. First find a guard or have someone do it for me. Then transport prisoners to jail. Then and only then, will I deal with media. That is if they are waiting for me. Hell, something like me in a word like this will get me questioned by media.

The train ground to a halt and the flash of camera bulbs began. I hopped off the car and quickly said "Before anyone asks me a question, I need a guard ASAP." I guard walked through the crowd and I said "I have 6 prisoners in the caboose, who tried to rob the train. One is injured."

He quickly asked "How did you stop them alone?"

"Let's just say my country didn't train me to die for my country, they trained me to help others die for theirs."

He looked at me confusedly but said "I'll organize transport to the dungeon."
