Chapters The Princess and the Nightcolt
~Twilight and Nyx~
"Once upon a time..."
Twilight began with Nyx sparkly eyes look at the words as Twilight read.
"in the land of Equestria, there were two alicorn sisters. The oldest sister was white as snow and the youngest was black as night. The oldest name was Snowlight and the youngest name was Nyx."
"Hey that's my name!" Nyx said in shock.
Twilight looked at Nyx and said with a smile.
"Yes Nyx, that is your name because I named you after hers. Since you both have black fur and you are both alicorns. So I named you Nyx."
Nyx eyes grew larger and brighter.
"What happens next Twilight?"
Nyx said wanting to know more of this story. Twilight wanted back to the book and began to read again.
"Snowlight and Nyx were very close as fillies but as the grew older they grew less and less apart. Snowlight was destined to be queen, while Nyx was destined to be Snowlight's right hooves. Nyx was happy for her sister being queen but she was afraid that Snowlight will not be her sister anymore for now on she'll have her ponies to look after. Heart broken and mad Nyx ran in to the Everfree forest."
~Princess Nyx~
"Oh sister,"
I said in sadness and anger
"Why? Why does it have to be this way? We used to be so close, now I am nothing but a shadow that follows you."
With tears streaming down my face, I went down to the ground with my hooves in my face. I don't know how long I was crying for and I heard a voice.
"Are you alright...Princess Nyx?"
The voice was soft and gentle at first but when it said my name it went to pure evil voice followed laugh. I got up on my hooves only to see my greatest enemy.
"Nightcolt." I said in a angry tone.
"That's King Nightcolt to you!" He screamed back at me.
"What are you doing here?" I said to him.
"Well since you asked, I was walking in MY territory when I hear crying. So I came over and now here we are."
Nightcolt said only to have a big grin on his face. Then he said.
"And you do know what is going to happen to you know Princess since you are in MY territory."
I looked at Nightcolt with scared eyes. I knew perfectly well what he is going to do. With the flap of my wings I took off. As I was about to reach the tree tops when I felt something grabbed me. Then everything went black.

The Princess and the Nightcolt
I was walking though my glorious Forest thinking on what I am going to do with my slaves. Then I heard somepony crying. I smiled to myself. As much I love to hear ponies cry, I love to gaining the pony's trust then crushing it with my magic. I decided to do the sweet and caring colt and then throw the pony away like a rotten apple. I walked up to a near by tree from were the crying was coming from. I saw a black mare pegasus. I smiled at that, pegasus are my favorite type of pony, seeing them try to fly away only to have their wings ripped right off of them. Oh their screams is like a rush a pleasure of me. As I started to say
'Are you alright? Do you need help?'
When I saw the cutie mark. The cutie mark was a blue purple cloud with a star the middle. I know that cutie mark it is,
"Princess Nyx." I said chucking at the Princess.
"This is going to be fun." I said to myself.
The Princess got up on her hooves and look at me with anger.
"Nightcolt"
The Princess said to me in angry tone, which I disappointment for ponies calling me just Nightcolt.
"That is King Nightcolt to you!" I screamed at her.
"What are you going here?"
The Princess said as if she own the place. I then grinned and said.
"Well since you asked, I was walking in MY territory when I hear crying. So I came over and now here we are."
I felt my grin growing bigger as I said.
"And you know what is going to happen to you now Princess since you are in MY territory."
I can see the fear in her eyes. She knew what I do to my slaves when they disobey me. I see her trying to fly away. I smiled and with a touch of my magic I grabbed her and brought her crashing to the ground. I walked up to her with a grin on my face. She is passed out from the impact. Her wing is broken and her leg was bleeding. For some reason I felt sorry for her, but I shook it off. I put her on my back and used my used my magic to teleport us to my castle. I walked up to my chambers and set the Princess on my bed.
"Silvertail" I screamed.
"Yes, sir"
"Go and wrap up the Princess wing and leg." I order.
"Yes sir. Right away sir."

~Twilight and Nyx~
"What happened to Princess Nyx, Twilight?"
Nyx said to Twilight when she was finished reading the first chapter. Twilight looked up from the book to Nyx.
"We'll find out what happened to her in the and next chapter Nyx"
"But why did she blacked out? Who grabbed her? Was it Nightcolt? I hate Nightcolt."
Nyx ask Twilight. Twilight is happy that Nyx was into the story. Twilight smiled and said.
"Your question will be answer when I read the next chapter."
"Ok" Nyx respond.
Twilight begins reading the next chapter.
"When Princess Nyx woke up..."
~Princess Nyx~
My wing was hurting. It felt like something was ripping it apart. Was it Nightcolt taking my wing off with his magic like he does to all of his pegasus slaves. I jumped up as the pain increased. I looked around expecting to see myself in a cell with Nightcolt ripping off my wing. When I saw in a regular room, I was confuse.
"Why am I in a room instead a cell like I thought Nightcolt would do?"
I said to myself. All of the sudden I felt something touching my wing. Thinking it was Nightcolt I used my magic to bring that monster up in front of me in the air. When I saw it was a grey unicorn stallion with a roll of bandage as his cutie mark, I was even more confuse.
"What is going on-Ouch!"
I was cut off of my sentence with my leg hurting. I looked back and saw that their are bandages around my left leg and my right wing.
"Did Nightcolt tried to hurt me when I was out cold and this unicorn saved me?" I said to myself
"Excused me, Princess but can you put me down."
I heard the grey unicorn said. Forgetting I still had my magic oh him. I put him down on the floor.
"Sorry. Um, where am I?" I said to the stallion.
"You are in master's room and he order me to fix your wing and leg."
I looked at him feeling my coat going white as my sister. I am in Nightcolt's room and I am on his bed. Felling faint I said.
"Why am I here?"
"My master came home with you on his back, you were badly wounded. So he brought you to his chamber and order me to fix you up."
I was shocked on what I was hearing, Nightcolt never gives this much care to his slaves, when the are hurt Nightcolt will just leave them bleeding to death. Why is he treating me with such care. We are enemies. Our Family have been enemies for thousands of years. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I hear the stallion said,
"My name is Silvertail by the way. Master Nightcolt's medical pony."
"Nice to meet you Silvertail. My name is-"
I was cut off by the door opening and Nightcolt was there.
"I see you are awake. Silvertail, are you finish wrapping the wounds?"
Nightcolt said. Silvertail just nod.
"Then leave."
Nightcolt said in a angry tone. With a small nod Silvertail was out the door. I looked at Nightcolt with confused eyes.
"Why did you do this to me?"
I said to Nightcolt. His face turn from an angry face to an embarrass look.
"Well, um you see I didn't want you hurt when I really punish you for trespassing my territory."
I looked at him with a confuse look. I knew he was lying but why would he be worried about me.
"Nightcolt-"
"King Nightcolt!" Nightcolt screamed.
I rolled my eyes and continued my sentient
"Why didn't you just put me in a cell? I mean we are enemies. Why did you just end me? I have nothing to live for."
I looked at Nightcolt and there was confuse and sadness in his eyes.
The Princess and the Nightcolt
~Twilight and Nyx~
"So Princess Nyx got hurt and Nightcolt brought her to his castle and had one of his servants treat her up."
Nyx said to Twilight.
"Yes Nyx, as what Silvertail said Princess Nyx got hurt and Nightcolt helped her. Even though Nightcolt doesn't want to admit it, since they are enemies."
Twilight said.
"But why is Nightcolt being so nice to her?" Nyx asked Twilight.
"Well let me read and we'll find out."
Twilight said and started to read chapter 3.
"They stand there in silence for a bit. Then Princess Nyx said..."
~Princess Nyx~
"Answer me. Why? Why didn't you just hurt me or kill me?"
Nightcolt sign and said in a voice I never heard before. His voice was soft as butterflies and it made my heart skip a beat.
"Because I don't want to see you in so much pain."
He looked at my with soft and loving eyes. I can fell my face getting warm. I never thought of it but Nightcolt dose look hoovesome, but I can never love him. For all I know he could be playing a trick. I am just one of his slaves only just to gain my heart and he'll crush it like a bug. I was about to get up to my hooves when I felt two hooves on my shoulders. I look up to see Nightcolt's green red eyes.
"You can't get up yet. You are still healing."
Nightcolt said in a soft tone as he push me down on the bed. For the first time I known him, Nightcolt smiled. Not a evil smile or grin, but a warm happy smile.
"You need your rest. I'll have my chef bring you food. Until tomorrow I wish you goodnight."
After that Nightcolt leave the room.
The Princess and the Nightcolt
It was a warm summer's night. Twilight was finishing her weekly letters to Princess Celestia, when she heard tiny hooves steps coming down the stairs. Twilight turned around to see Nyx with tiny sleepy eyes.
"Hey Nyx. Why are you up so late? You do know you have school in the morning." Twilight said
"I know Twilight," Nyx said in her sweet innocent voice. "but I can't sleep. I tried and tried, but I can't."
Nyx looked up a Twilight with her pretty blue eyes. Twilight thought for a moment and then smiled to herself. With her horn glowing she pulled out a purple book from the top self.
"How about I read you a story, Nyx? That's what my mother did when I couldn't fall asleep." Twilight said with a warm smile.
Jumping around Nyx said.
"I would love that Twilight!"
Twilight smiled and said back to Nyx.
"Ok, lets go to my bed and I'll read it to you."
Twilight said as taking Nyx to her room. When getting there Nyx jumped happily on the Twilight's bed with a joyful laugh. Twilight smiled at laughing jumpy filly on her bed. With her magic still holding the book she walked over to the bed and sat down.
"Ok Nyx, this was one of the stories my mother read to me." Twilight said.
Twilight then smiled at the book remembering asking her mother to read this book over and over again.
"Boy, I must have been a hooveful for my mother." Twilight said to herself.
Nyx still jumping on the bed with a big smile on her face.
" So, what is the story called Twilight?" Nyx ask Twilight.
Twilight used her magic to bring the book on her bed and flipped the page to the title page "The Princess and the Nightcolt".
"What is the book about Twilight?" Nyx asked Twilight with joyful eyes.
Twilight looked at Nyx eyes and said.
"A tragic tale between a princess and a pony who was suppose to be her worst enemy."
The Princess and the Nightcolt
When I left Silvertail so he can treat the Princess wounds, I went to the kitchen and order to make dinner for two. They nod and started cooking the meal. As I walk though the halls my mind started to think about the Princess.
"Why was she crying? What happened to her?"
So many question went into my mind. I try Shaking it off but it wouldn't go away. Why am I thinking about her? We are enemies since our granponies were alive. I almost reach my chambers when I hear a loud,
"Ouch!"
I know that voice anywhere that was the Princess voice. For some reason I felt my blood boil. Why am I so angry? I was about to burst into the room when I hear Silvertail voice.
"Excused me, Princess but can you put me down."
I can feel magic in the room. I guess Silvertail scared her. Then I hear her voice,
"Sorry. Um, where am I?"
"Don't you dare answer her Silvertail." I said quietly.
"You are in master's room and he order me to fix your wing and leg." I hear Silvertail.
"You idiot! I'll make sure I punish you later." I said to myself.
"Why am I here?"
I hear the Princess voice. Not long after I hear Silvertail said,
"My master came home with you on his back, you were badly wounded. So he brought you to his chamber and order me to fix you up."
"Ok now I am going to kill you." I said in quiet anger.
"My name is Silvertail by the way. Master Nightcolt's medical pony."
"Not for long Silvertail. You are going to be hanging from the gallows." I said.
"Nice to meet you Silvertail. My name is-"
Not wanting to hear more of the conversation I opened the door and walked in.
"I see you are awake. Silvertail, are you finish wrapping the wounds?"
I said. Silvertail just nod.
"Then leave."
I said in a angry tone not wanting him here anymore. Silvertail nod and left the room. Seeing how badly wounded she is I felt bad I did that to her, but why am I? I love seeing ponies in hurt. Then why do I feel sorry for her.
"Why did you do this to me?"
I hear her voice. I can feel my face getting red. I didn't know why I did this to her. So I lied.
"Well, um you see I didn't want you hurt when I really punish you for trespassing my territory."

"Nightcolt-"
"King Nightcolt!" I screamed.
She rolled her eyes and continued her sentient.

My eyes when to confuse and sadness.
"Why would she say that about her herself?'
The Princess and the Nightcolt
We stood there in silence for a bit when I hear the Princess voice.
"Answer me. Why? Why didn't you just hurt me or kill me?"
It makes me sad that the Princess thinks of my in that way. I can hear my voice soften.
"Because I don't want to see you in so much pain."
I could not help it but I felt my eyes filled with happiness and love. I looked at her face and saw it was a bit red. Then I saw her trying to get up on her hooves. I don't want her to get hurt. I put my hooves on her shoulders. This made me smiled, happy that I got to her in time so she didn't hurt herself. Our eyes locked. Just for a few seconds. Her beautiful purple are just amazing. Then I find myself speaking in a soft tone.

Then I left the room. I made sure I was out of hearing of the room when I hit the wall. My hooves was bleeding but I don't care.
"Why am I being so nice to her? We are enemies. Why do I feel sorry for her?"
I sign and went to the kitchen and order the chef to bring food to the Princess. Once that I went to my thrown room and screamed with anger and confusion.
