A Crush To A Special Somepony.
It was a normal evening as usual, Applejack had finished applebucking early today. The farmer had felt very tired after a hards day work. Applejack yawned loudly "Wow what a long day." She said yawning some more.
"You sure got that right sis!" A certain little filly said, Applejack had flinched at hearing her little sister's voice.
"I think i'ma hit the hay early!" Applejack, said as her eyes almost shut. Applejack, then slapped herself gently to keep herself wide awake. Applebloom, giggled and asked her big sister.
"Sis why are you slapping yourself?"
"Uh what! Sorry I needed to regain myself." She said stumbling slightly as she took a step. "Woah!" She slightly shouted putting her hoof around Applebloom's head.
"Ahhh sis can you please I don't know maybe let go of my head...?" Applebloom asked rolling her eyes. Once Applejack, regained her balance she let go.
"Yeah huh what sorry, i'm just real tired." She said yawning. Applejack, then trotted away from her dear sister, Applebloom. "I'm going to bed before I do something wrong." She said.
"But Applejack! It's hardly even dinner time! Don't be ridiculous!" Applebloom yelled hopping up and down catching up to her sister. Applejack didn't bother listening to what she had said. Once, more dear Applebloom, said it shouting it again but, this time louder.
"Oh ma gosh I heard ya once and, I will be ridiculous! Just leave me alone can't you see that I don't wanna be bothered!" Applejack snapped at her sister. Dear Applebloom, bent down scared. Applejack then brought her hoof onto applebloom's back "I'm sorry, sugarcube ah didn't mean to snap at you like that it's just i've been feeling bad...." Applejack said trailing off.
"Does that explain why ya been feeling so tired lately. That you can't, even work? The filly asked.
"Yea ah, guess? Ah don't know its just nothing...."
"Nothing?! How can you say that its been affecting ya! Tell me what's bothering you maybe ah can help!" Applebloom exclaimed Applejack, however rolled her eyes.
"Nah y'all wouldn't understand!"
"Oh really, why is that?" She said smirking.
"Because you're just a filly and, you probably don't even know what it's like!"
"Oh really, it's about that purple dragon isn't it?" Applebloom said smirking even more.
"What now how would, Ah mean no! Not about any handsome purple dragon that might not ya! Or have feeling's for some other mare that's far more prettier looking... It aint about no dragon at all I swear!" She said closing her mouth quickly noticing what she had said. "Forget about what I said and just forget it!"
"Spike and Applejack K-I-S-S-I-N-G-" Applebloom said only to interrupted by a orange mare.
"Now y'all stop! We're just friends ah promise!" She said nervously while blushing.
"Friends? Then how come you're blushing!"
"Ah look it's getting dark yes very dark ah better head off to bed!" The orange mare said quickly running away from her sister. She had never ran faster then ever from her sister. She had lost her within a minute, she then sneaked her way into the barn. Once she had gotten inside her room she, quickly shut the door and locked it. Applejack had finally gotten one thing she wanted to get all day and that was silence and peace. She then then hoped right onto the bed from a, longs day rest.
'How could Applebloom, ever had so much nerves! Ah mean doest it really matter if ah, even like that dragon! Okay well maybe it does after all that boy has really been getting on my nerves to! Him and his stupid imaginations about Rarity why, can't he see that she will never love him back? Why can't he realize that ah love him and not her!' She thought then screamed out "Wait what! What am I thinking, of course ah don't feel that way for him right?! Right!"
'Oh give it a rest Aj!' She again thought she automatically then, clapped her hoofs together causing the light switches to turn off. She then got under her sheets and, rested her head on her soft pillow. "Ah just need sleep that's all!" She exclaimed to herself giving herself a fake smile. She then shut her eyes in for a long nice sleep.
"Lady Applejack watch out! That beast is coming over our way!" Her little sister, Applebloom, shouted hoping up and down pointing over at the monster.
"Why is that what ah think it is?" She said as her jaw dropped all the way to the ground. Why yes of course it was a timberwolf comin' right after the farm pony.
"Come on sister he is catching up on us!" She said shouting.
"Go save yourself! I'll show him who's boss!" Lady, Applejack running over to the timber wolf. Applebloom had no choice but to save herself she ran fast away from her sister and the timber wolf. She herself felt guilty on leaving her sister behind but she could never refuse her orders.
"Come and get me!" Applejack said chasing him onto circles and circles. Untill, lady Applejack's dress got stuck by the timber wolfs claw. "Ah help king Spike!!!" She yelled, then there arose the king Spike. He flipped his scales as the wind flew onto his scales.
"I've come to save you my lady!" The king spike said running quickly over to lady Applejack. The timber wolf laughed once he saw his competition which luckily let go of lady Applejack's dress. As if she had been thrown all the way to las pegasus! But, luckily the king Spike caught her saving her fall.
"Why king Spike you're my hero! Thank you so much!" She said hugging him tightly. Spike then looked frightened and pointed over at the timber wolf running towards them.
"Don't thank me yet!" He said letting go of lady Applejack. He then, pulled his sword out swinging it at the dragon with all his might and strength. "Take this you beast!" Spike said as he sliced the timber wolfs head off. Applejack closed her eyes not daring to look at the scene. "Okay you're save now lady Applejack you can look and thank me now!" The king said winking.
"Oh king Spike! Thank you so much! How can I ever repay you?" Lady Applejack said fluttering her eyelashes at the king.
"One kiss....?" The king Spike said grinning. Applejack blushed and leaned in.
"You got it King Spikey-Wikey." She said closing her eyes as her lips met his.
"What the hay?! No no no no! There is no way in Equestria that ah had a kissing dream about spike!" Applejack yelled as her body shot up from the dream. She breathed heavily no making a move trying to figure out if she was just kidding. Nope she wasn't she realized accepting the fact that she had dreamed that about her friend, Spike.
"Hey Aj are you in there?" A certain purple dragon yelled across the other side of the walls. Applejack then froze slumping back into her bed very slow.
"Yeah i'm in here.. Come in spike!" She said blankly looking at the wall across from her. Spike then opened the door slow causing it to creak. He then made his way inside but before walking any further. He shut the door. " Why is y'all here?" Applejack said suspiciously making her eyebrow raise up.
"Well your, sister Applebloom, she had came by the library quickly. She wanted to let me know that you weren't feeling so good. So I myself have decided to come visit you to cheer you up!" He said blushing a little. "Oh I almost forgot these are for you." He said as he handed her a rose.
"Oh Spike, this is the sweetest thing any stallion or dragon has ever done for me." Applejack said smiling grabbing the rose. She had then sniffed it. It smelled like sweetest perfume her nuzzle could ever smell. Spike blushed at what she told him.
"Really...?" He said smiling.
"Yea." The farm pony said winking. 'Oh no Applejack no no! You're not falling for him no! He's a dragon and i'm a pony it could never work out... But it could! Stop it Applejack! Don't....' She thought to herself she then tried to push her feelings aside which had work only for a minute. They had came back right then and there she just sighed.
"So are you feeling any better?" The dragon asked.
"Yes." She said smiling 'Curses!' she thought to herself.
"Well I better be off Twilight doesn't want me gone to long.. And I don't wanna disturb you anymore." He said while walking away untill a orange mare got a hold of him.
Applejack's smile then faded "But spike! Don't leave me now stay for a little please?" She said looking into his green eyes.
"Oh... Okay I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay a little longer." He said blushing Applejack then pulled her hoof away. Spike then sat on the bed right next to her.
"Spike?" The orange mare asked.
"Yes?"
"Can ah ask you something a bit personal?"
"What is it?" The purple dragon said confused as to what the question was.
"Do you like anypony? If you do is it rarity?" She said a little bit sadly. 'No Applejack you fool! Now he'll know your jealous! Why do ah even bother...' She thought.
"Yes I do like somepony... And no not anymore at least.. Hah I got over her a long time ago since I met someone better." He said shrugging. Applejack's head then shot up and smiled.
"Who do you like then?" She said smiling
"Well I don't know if I should tell you..." Spike said trailing off.
"Please!" Applejack asked.
"Well I like this farm pony..... She has a orange coat and beautiful blonde lucius hair. Her name is Applejack." Spike said blushing as he looked down at the ground.
"Ah like ya to... That's why I've been kinda down in the dumps.." She said trailing off. Spikes head then shot up he grinned.
"Aj?"
"Yes spike?"
"Will you be my special somepony?" The dragon asked scratching his head.
"Ah would love to." Applejack said grinning.
