The search for Happiness on a new World.

After two Ponies got in Bright´s way, he decided to try to get to Carousel Boutique once again. He was at the entrance of said building, but before entering, he turner to every direction just to check if there was any other Pony nearby... None. This was what he was waiting for since he got to the Pony World, visit Carousel Boutique and the owner of the Boutique, Rarity, the most beautiful Unicorn of all... Bright´s chest was pounding with excitement, and after taking a deep breath, he went in.

Bright Bulb: “Wow... This place is beautiful! Even more beautiful than I imagined!”
???: “What can I help you with?” Said a voice coming from behind a Pony mannequin, then a white-colored Pony with a Purpleish-colored mane appeared from behind the mannequin.

As the mysterious Pony of glamorous appearance approached Bright Bulb, Bright´s heart began pounding like mad and his throat felt very dry. He just kept staring at the White Pony until said Pony spoke:

???: “Hum... darling? Is there something wrong? Do you feel fine?”
Bright Bulb: “I... Uh...” he shook his head trying to pull himself together. Then, he finally spoke “I´m sorry, It´s just that I couldn´t look away from your pretty face...” He said while his eyes became a pair of hearts... (It´s a cartoon, everything can happen.)
Rarity: “Oh, hehe, thank you dear, Oh, were are my manners, my name is Rarity, what about you darling? What´s your name?”
Bright Bulb: “My... *ahem* My name is Bright Bulb, but you can call me Bright” He told Rarity as he took his front right hoof and kissed it, she got a little embarrassed.
Rarity: “Oh, Darling... Hehe, you´re so nice, though, I´m afraid I can´t show affection to my customers, It wouldn´t be... right...” She said as he got near a table, where she took a magazine with a suit on the cover. “So, here´s the magazine with every suit of this shop, look for one which you think would look good on you and call me when you have made up you mind” She told Bright with a smile as she handed him the magazine. And then she returned to the mannequin she once was behind, perhaps she was designing a new dress? Seeing that, Bright decided to approach Rarity to speak a little bit more.

Bright Bulb: “Ooh, what´s this? A new design for a dress? Could I see? Maybe, help you? My sister was a great designer too!” After saying that, Rarity looked at him.
Rarity: “Oh, dear I appreciate that you´re trying to help me but, I´m fine doing this by myself” Then, Rarity remember and told to herself: “Oh, I almost forgot, I have to make 4 other dresses for tonight... Ugh, I´m afraid I´ll have to accept this stallion´s help...”
Bright Bulb: “Okay then, I´ll just go, I still have a complete town to explore...” He said as he turned to the door of the Boutique, but suddenly, Rarity stopped him.

Rarity: “Wait, dear! I just remembered that I have to make another 4 dresses for tonight. So, if what you´re saying is true, you can help me if you want” Bright´s eyes lighted up as the mare said those words.
Bright Bulb: “Really? I can? Oh, thank you Miss Rarity, you sure won´t regret it!”
Rarity: “I sure hope so dear, hope you weren´t lying to me, because If you were, I couldn´t forgive you” As Rarity finished her sentence, Bright Bulb felt the world falling on his shoulders once again.
He though to himself: “Oh my god, if I screw this up, I´ll blow my chances to be with Rarity. God... I mean, Celestia, if you´re there, oh please, please help me with this!”

As he finally returned to the real world, Rarity and Him began to work on those dresses. But when they were about to begin working, Rarity told Bright something that up to this point, he didn´t know.

Rarity: “Oh, but dear... If you´re a Unicorn why don´t you use your Unicorn magic to make carrying stuff easier?”
Bright Bulb´s jaw fell to the ground because of the surprise he got from hearing that. When his jaw finally returned to place, he said: “I... I am? I mean, of course I am, It´s just that I wanted to do stuff the old fashioned way... Hehehe...” Then he told to himself: “Why neither Rainbow or Fluttershy told me this? You know the things I could have done If I new I was a Unicorn before? Even Pinkie Pie didn´t tell me about it! Well maybe she was too distracted thinking of my welcome party to tell me such an obvious thing that I was SUPPOSED to know... *sigh*... Wait, now I remember, it was because my mane covered my horn!... I still don’t know how that was possible, but that is the most reasonable reason of why no one told me that before”

After a few moments of awkward silence, Bright Bulb tried to use his Unicorn magic, he knew that he would screw things up since it was his first time doing it. But for his surprise he actually did the levitation spell quite good, he was Impressed by his natural talent for spells. So, after a couple of minutes, they finally finished the first dress.

Rarity: “Well, that´s quite a nice dress if I do say so myself” Rarity began to admire their wonderful work. While Bright Bulb once again focused his attention to Rarity´s face. “What do you think Bright? This dress looks simply fantastic doesn´t it?”
Bright Bulb: “Yeah... To be my first time using my Unicorn magic it ended up pretty good.” But then, he stopped, he knew that he wasn´t supposed to say those things, he was supposed to know how to use Unicorn magic for his whole life!

Rarity: “What? Your first time? What do you mean? First you act surprised when I asked you why you weren´t using your Unicorn magic, and now, you say that it was your first time using your magic. Is there something you haven´t told me that I should know darling?”
Bright Bulb: “Well...” He tried his best to make an excuse of why he acted like that, after few minutes of thinking, he got an idea “Well, it´s just that since I was a little I never really liked to use my magic, since I was the only Unicorn on my class, it felt weird, everyone used to laugh at me. And so, I got used to doing what the other Earth Ponies did, actually, I got so used to it, that I forgot that I was a Unicorn...” Rarity seemed to doubt for a moment, but then she told Bright something that made him feel better:
Rarity: “I understand now darling, thanks for sharing that story with me... Now, why don´t we rest? Maybe you could tell me a little bit more about your life” She giggled at Bright who seemed to almost have a heart attack.
Bright Bulb: “Seems fine to me, I could really use some rest”

After that, they decided to take seat and drink some refreshing water.

Rarity: “So, Bright Bulb, why don´t you tell me more about yourself? I would love to know more about you dear”
Bright Bulb: “Well, okay, just with one condition, that you´ll tell me about you too. I would love to hear about your life.”
Rarity: “Sure thing, sweetheart, but you go first.”
Bright Bulb: “Okay, well... What do you want to hear about? I could tell you about how I got my cutie mark, or about my school years, just ask and I´ll tell you”
Rarity: “I would like to listen to how you got your cutie mark, I´m pretty sure that that is an interesting story, then if you want, you could tell me about your school years.”

Bright Bulb: “Well... I got my cutie mark a long time ago, on a school play. Nobody knew what to do, so I got an Idea: To Make a Nightmare Night story play, I organized the scripts of every single character of the play, the background was made by everybody else. So, after the play ended, I noticed that my cutie mark had appeared”
Rarity: “Well, that sounds interesting, you really made all the scripts by yourself?”
Bright Bulb: “Yup, my teacher was very impressed by my great idea and talent” He said proudly as he looked at a clock that was over a bookshelf. It was 7:20 p.m. “Rarity, tell me, at what hour were the dresses supposed to be ready?”
Rarity: “At 9:00 p.m. Why?” After that he pointed at the clock, Rarity looked at the hour and screamed in horror.
It was very late, just one dress took them around 45 minutes. Four dresses would take them 3 hours, they didn´t have enough time.
Rarity: “Oh no, we won´t finish in time! What are we going to do?” She said as she ran in circles around the Boutique looking everywhere for something that could help them.
Bright Bulb held Rarity by the shoulders and he told her: “Don´t worry, It was my fault and I´m going to fix it, okay? You gotta trust me, I´ll fix this”

Rarity looked at Bright Bulb´s dark blue eyes, she knew she could trust him, she nodded. And then Bright Bulb tried something he believed Impossible: He was going to try and do a spell to stop time. He knew that It would require a lot of magic, and a lot of strength, but he didn´t care, he wanted to do everything he could to help Rarity. And so, he stepped in the middle of the room, and positioned himself to make the spell.

Rarity: “But, Bright Bulb, what are you going to do?”
Bright Bulb: “I´m going to try to do a spell that will freeze time, It´ll cost a lot of magic, and a lot of my vital energy, It has a 50% chance of killing me, but it doesn´t matter, if I succeed at making the spell, it would give you enough time to complete the dresses”
Rarity: “Kill you? What has gotten into you?! You can´t do that! I... I simply won´t allow you to do such horrific thing”
Bright Bulb: “Rarity, listen to me very well, I don´t care if it kills me, this means a lot to you, so I´m willing to give my life to help you, now BACK AWAY”

Bright Bulb enveloped himself in a force shield, he wan´t sure how to do such spell that would freeze time, but he had to try, and so, his horn was surrounded by a white light, after a few seconds a silver light enveloped the whole boutique, It worked, the time froze. Bright Bulb fell to the ground very hardly. After that, the force shield disappeared and Rarity ran to Bright Bulb´s unconscious body.

Rarity: “Bright Bulb!!! Heavens no, you... you dumb stallion! Giving your life for me? I wasn´t worth such a big sacrifice” She began to cry while holding Bright´s body on her hooves.
He hardly could talk, but he tried, then he told Rarity as he put his hoof on Rarity´s cheek: “Don...Don´t worry about me... I´ll be fine, I just need time to recover... You just go on with the dresses, the spell won´t last much time...” As he finished his sentence he closed his eyes, falling asleep.
Rarity: “Bright Bulb... Thank... Thank you” she said with tears still on her eyes “I´ll make these dresses in honor of you sacrifice” And so, she began to work, until Bright interrupted her once again.
Bright Bulb: “Rarity, just... one last... thing”
Rarity: “Ye... Yeah Bright Bulb? What is it?”
Bright Bulb: “I... I love you...” He couldn´t speak any longer, he fell asleep one last time, this time, he didn´t wake up.
Rarity: “Oh Bright Bulb, I... I love you too” She began to tear up, but then she stopped “No, I can´t keep crying, I´ll do as Bright Bulb wanted and I´ll finish those dresses!”
Time flew by... Wait... Time couldn´t flew by because of Bright Bulb´s spell, well, you get the idea, after a long time Rarity finally finished the dresses, it took her 4 and a half hours, since she didn´t have Bright´s help, it took her even longer. The spell faded away after exactly 3 hours, so the other 1 and a half happened with time flowing by once again.
After Rarity was done, she used a levitation spell to get Bright to a bed, he was heavy, she could barely lift him, but she made it, after getting Bright to bed, the doorbell rang. Rarity ran to the door to see who was it, it was Hoity Toity and a pair of other dress-makers behind him.

Rarity: “Oh, Mr. Toity, you arrive at the perfect time! The dresses you asked for are ready”
Hoity Toity: “Oh wonderful, I was starting to worry that the dresses wouldn´t be ready for our arrival, I guess I underestimated you miss Rarity, now, can we pass?”
Rarity: “Oh yeah, of course, I´m sorry, come on in, and get comfortable”

And so, Rarity began the dress show, the first one was a black dress, followed by a purple dress, then a green dress, next it was a dark blue dress and finally a crimson red dress. Hoity Toity a co. were amazed by the beautiful dresses. They were mouth open the whole dress show.

Hoity Toity: “Spectacular! Those dresses were simply fabulous! Congratulations Miss Rarity, you did a wonderful job with these dresses”
Rarity: “Oh, hehe, thank you Mister Toity, I really appreciate it, now, which of them will you be taking?”
Hoity Toity: “All of them! They´re all fantastic!” Said with a non-human excited voice
Rarity: “Well, okay, follow me and I´ll hand you the dresses”
Hoity Toity: “Very well then, thank you very much”

After Rarity handed Toity the dresses, and escorted them to the exit, she went to see if Bright recovered, only to discover that Bright was still asleep. She got on her knees and cried over Bright Bulb´s chest, she was worried that he would never wake up again... After a while Rarity fell asleep, the next day, when Rarity woke up, he noticed that Bright was still asleep. She worried more than ever, since had been asleep for quite a while. And then, she brought Bright to her friend Twilight´s home, trying to see is she could help Bright.

Rarity: “Twilight, oh Twilight, were are you?! It´s an emergency!” She said while looking left and right for her friend.

Then Twilight Sparkle appeared out of nowhere, she apparently used a transportation spell to get to where her friend Rarity was

Twilight Sparkle: “What? What is it Rarity?” She said on a pretty worried tone
Rarity: “Oh Twilight, it´s my friend” *she pointed at Bright´s unconscious body*
Twilight Sparkle: “Ooh, and who do we have here? I´ve never seen someone like him around Pony Ville” She said on a curious tone
Rarity: “Well, his name is Bright Bulb, the story of how I met him is very long, and we definitely don´t have time for that!” She screamed at Twilight on a very upset tone
Twilight Sparkle: “Okay, okay, calm down, what´s the problem with him?”

Rarity began to tell Twilight the story of how Bright helped her with her dresses and how he used all of his energy on the time freezing spell.

Twilight Sparkle: “What?! A time freezing spell?! How does somebody like him know that kind of spell, but I, who had studied magic for years...” She was quickly interrupted by her friend Rarity.
Rarity: “Twilight, please, we don´t have time for this! My friend could possibly die in a few moments! And the only thing you care of is about magic spells?!” She screamed even louder at Twilight, with a tone even angrier than before.
Twilight Sparkle: “Okay, I´m terribly sorry, I´ll use my magic to check his vital signs” And after she did so, she looked at Rarity and told her: “Rarity, your friend seems to be alright, but he needs around 24 hours of rest, tell me, around what hour did he used that spell?”

Rarity: “Around 7:50 p.m.” She said, trying to calm down.
Twilight Sparkle: “Okay, it´s 6:38 p.m. you just need to wait an hour and he´ll be good as new” She said, giving her friend a smile.
Rarity: “Oh, thank you very much Twilight, I owe you my friend´s life” She said while hugging her friend “Now, I´ll return to the Boutique, so Bright can get some rest, thanks again Twilight” She exited her friends house, heading to her own house.

An hour passed after Rarity visited her friend, It was just matter of minutes before Bright finally woke up, after a few minutes, he woke up. Rarity was very happy to see him awake, he hugged his friend very hard, and he hugged Rarity back.

Rarity: “Oh Bright, I´m so glad that you´re okay, you don´t know how worried I was about you, but now, we´re finally together once again” She said this as she hugged Bright once again
Bright Bulb: “Thank´s for worrying about me Rarity, you really are a good friend” He said it while he rubbed Rarity´s head “Hey, how was everything with Hoity Toity? Did he like your dresses?”
Rarity: “Oh, it doesn´t matter Bright, the only thing that matters is that we´re together once again”
Bright Bulb: “Oh Rarity”
Rarity: “Oh Bright Bulb”
