The Only Chapter
Snails scrutinized the box closely. No, that’s not it, he thought as he looked at the simple, cardboard package. He had been rummaging through his parents’ closet for the last twenty minutes, looking for his birthday gifts. He was sure they were here somewhere! Just like always! If they catch him here… he would be grounded for at least a week! He had to be careful. Really careful. But the mere thought of the piles of gifts urged him on to search even more vigorously.
His horn glowed as he moved, not without difficulties, the previously found box out of the way. Again, he found nothing of importance. Only some books and a fedora hat in a cardboard box similar to the one he has just moved out of the way. The unicorn colt grunted, dissatisfied with the results of his search. He was on a grand and very important quest, and the things he had to find were nowhere to be found!
Then the inevitable happened. He heard the sounds of hoofsteps. Somepony was in the hall, and approaching the bedroom door! His parents had to be home early! Snails panicked and started looking around, searching for a place to hide. After few seconds the colt realized that he was in a perfect hiding spot. He rushed to the closet door, closing it as fast as he could. The small room suddenly became a very dark place, as the only light that shone into the closet was coming from the door keyhole. Or rather from what was beyond it.
Somepony opened the bedroom door and Snails froze, trying very hard not to make a single noise. He moved his head closer to the door, peeking through the keyhole. Unsurprisingly, there were two ponies on the other side: his mother and father. That was normal. What wasn’t normal was their behaviour. The amber colt watched as the mare being his mother walked through the room to the queen sized bed, swaying her hips in process. And looking at his father with a really weird expression on her face. Her eyes were half closed and she was smiling, but in a really strange way.
And his father looked… fascinated by it. The hidden unicorn blinked a few times, confused by his parents’ actions. Little did he know, the weirdest was yet to come.
His mom swished her tail, showing all of her hindquarters to his dad! Who then smiled and approached the bed, getting closer to the mare. Suddenly, he opened his eyes wider and blinked, as if remembering something.
“Wait, where is Snails? I haven’t seen him in the house today…” The mare frowned at that.
“You always find a way to destroy the mood… He’s probably playing with Rumble or something, you know how they are” she was right, Snails was in fact supposed to meet up with his pegasus friend today, but the light grey colt had to go somewhere with his older brother. Probably some pegasus business or something...
He watched as his mom climbed on the bed and lied down.
“Now come here, my stallion” that was a voice he had never heard coming from his mother. A voice soaking with something he couldn’t identify… But it seemed to work on his father, who has regained his smile and was eagerly approaching the bed.
The stallion sat down next to the other pony. Snails cocked his head, curious about what were they up to. It was far too early for bedtime, especially for adults… maybe there were going to play something! It would explain why his father was so happy right now. But they always said that beds are only for sleeping, not for fun… The unicorn thought, a bit angry at his parents now. They lied to him!
The colt watched as they joined their lips in a passionate kiss. He thought it was a tad gross, but for some unexplainable reason couldn’t look away. His mom moaned and started running her hooves down her husband’s body, first touching his chest, then his belly, and still going down. Snails couldn’t believe his own eyes. His mother actually touched his dad there! He didn’t seem to mind, though, and looked as if he was having fun as his lovely wife started rubbing his sheath.

“Already?”

That left Snails with two problems. First: What the hay just happened?! Second: How to get out of the closet without getting grounded for at least a month?

After a few minute walk, he arrived home. Quickly checking if he was really alone, he went straight to the kitchen and got himself a cookie from the jar. He didn’t know whether his parents thought that his magic was not strong enough to lift the cover or just didn’t care if their son got himself a cookie once in a while, but he wasn’t the one to complain.
Snails looked at the clock. It was only half an hour left before Rumble would come! And that meant he had to prepare. His room was unusually tidy as the colt had cleaned it the day before, knowing he wouldn’t have the time. Smiling to the empty room, the amber unicorn went to the bathroom. There was one thing he had to take care about. Part of the game was his mother wearing lipstick and makeup… he wasn’t a filly, but if that was part of the game, he had to do it.
He realized it wasn’t entirely unpleasant as he applied the make-up on his face. He even succeeded on the sixth try! It took him some time, though, and just as he finished, a knock on the door was heard. It had to be Rumble.
The unicorn trotted happily to the door, opening it with one swift move of his hoof. He was welcomed by the sight of a grey pegasus colt waiting for him.
“Hi Snails, I… what the hey is on your face?” Rumble cocked his head, as if not believing that his best friend had makeup on him.
“Come inside, I’ll explain later” the unicorn’s voice was unusually excited, making the pegasus a bit uneasy. But he hadn’t said a word as he followed the other colt. They arrived to Snails’ room, as usual. Rumble noticed it was extraordinarily tidy, but quickly figured that the unicorn’s parents probably made him clean it.
“I have a new game for us” the amber pony chimed, a wide smile on his face.
The pegasus’ ears perked up. He was genuinely curious. New game always meant more fun!
What happened next surprised Rumble greatly. Snails nodded and started walking away from him… and there was something filly-like in the way he walked. And why was he moving his hips like that?
Those questions had the remain unanswered as Snails tripped and fell on his face, failing entirely in walking accordingly with the ‘rules’ of the game. Again, it would be nothing unusual… but the position he was in, the strange behaviour of Snails and the situation as a whole made it weird and embarrassing.

Meanwhile, one of the unicorn's front hooves started rubbing on Rumble’s sheath.
