January 25
I love my mommy because we do lots of fun things together. We go to the park and the movies and the playground and she plays games with me. One time we were playing hide and seek and it took mommy a long time to find me. She said I was a good hider. When it was my turn I found her hiding on a big rock. She told me I was really good at hide and seek.
Sometimes we make food together. Our favorite food we like to make is muffins but my mommy likes blueberry muffins and I like strawberry. When we make too many muffins we give them to all the ponies in Ponyville. Everypony likes our muffins and ask us to make more. Miss Pinkie Pie is my mommys friend and she likes to bake muffins with us.
My mommy is a mailmare and she gives special presents to ponies in the morning. Sometimes ponies write letters to other ponies that live far away and put them in the mail box so my mommy can take them to the post office. When I grow up I want to be a mailmare just like my mommy. I think it is fun to give other ponies presents.
My mommy also likes watching movies with me. We like to watch movies about aliens. One time we stayed up all night and watched a movie where spaceships burn down a big city. The ponies in the movie were scared and they ran away but I was sleeping and I miss the movie. Mommy said the ponies beat the aliens and I was happy.
We also like to read books together. On saturday we always go to the library and mommy gets me a book to take home. Miss Twilight likes it when she sees me and my mommy in her library. She says it is very good that I like to read books. Mommy likes to read me Daring Do as a bedtime story. I wish I can be brave like Daring Do. She goes to other places and find neat stuff like gold.
I like spending time with mommy because she loves me and I love her. Mommy is always there when I need help and when I’m sad.
January 30
I had a bad day at school today. Two girls in my class called me mean names. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon called stupid and dumb and laugh at me and it made me cry. Miss Cheerilee got them in trouble but I still feel sad. I don’t like it when other ponies make fun of me. When I told mommy about the mean girls she told me to ignore them. She told me that those mean girls are mean because it makes them feel better about themselves. Mommy told me that ponies called her names when she was a little filly and it made her cry too. We baked muffins for dinner and then we went to bed.
The next day Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon called me names again. They called me stupid and dumb and the R word. My mommy told me to never say that word because it makes special ponies sad but they say it all the time and it makes Miss Cheerilee upset. At recess they never leave me alone and they keep calling me names. I started to cry. Then Apple Bloom told them to leave me alone then she asked me if I wanted to play a game with her and Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. We are friends now.
When I told mommy about what happened at school she was happy for me. She was glad that I made new friends. We had spaghetti for dinner and we watched a movie then we went to bed.
February 3
Today Apple Bloom wanted me to meet with her friends. She told me they had a special surprise for me. I told my mommy and she said ok. Apple Bloom took me to her clubhouse and Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were there. When I went inside they said they are going to make me a cutie mark crusader. I don’t know what that is and they said they look for ways to find their special talents. They gave me a red cape and I was a member. I told them I looked like a superhero and they laughed. After they made me a member we played games and think of ways to make our cutie marks appear.
I like them because they are nice to me and they don’t call me stupid. Sweetie Belle is a unicorn just like me but we don’t know any magic. Scootaloo is a pegasus but her wings are small and she can’t fly. I hope she will fly one day. Apple Blooms family are apple farmers and I like apples. They are my favorite fruit.
I like playing with Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. We played hide and seek in the park all day. I always pick the best hiding spots and they had a hard time finding me. Apple Bloom is a good hider too. She say she use to play hide and seek with her sister all the time. The sky was turning dark and it was time for us to go home.
I told mommy about my day and she was happy. I told her about Apple Bloom and how she likes apples. Mommy said that we should make apple muffins for her one day. I can’t wait. I love my new friends
February 9
It is raining today. I hate the rain. I wish it go away but it is going to rain all day. Mommy said there are things to do inside. We wanted to bake muffins but we ran out of stuff to make them with. I think we made too many. Mommy says that we can go to the store and buy things to make muffins if the rain stops.
We decided to play make believe to pass the time. We build a big fort out of pillows. We call it Dinkyland and I was princess and mommy was the queen. We had a tea party then we dance to our favorite song. Mommy is the best dancer in the world.
The rain stop and Mommy said it was time to go shopping. When we got to the store we picked flour and apples and blueberrys. She also had to buy peas and carrots because Mommy said I have to eat my vegetables. I hate peas.
We had peas and mash potatoes for dinner and Mommy said I had to eat them or I won’t have any muffins. I hate eating peas but Mommy said they are good for me and it is healthy. I try eating all the peas I can. It was almost time for bed when I was finish so Mommy said we will have muffins tomorrow. She read me Daring Do again and I went to sleep.
February 14
Hearts and Hooves Day is my favorite holiday because it is the day you tell other ponies you love them. I made Mommy a card and drew me and her in it with crayons. I gave it to Mommy and she was smiling then she gave me a hug. She said it was the best gift she ever had. Then she kiss me on the cheek. Mommy was wearing her mailmare hat and told me she had lots of presents to give. She walked me to school and told me to have a nice day.
In class we made Hearts and Hooves cards for all our friends. I made cards for Miss Cheerilee, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. They all like the cards I made for them. A nice colt gave a card too. He told me his name was Pipsqueak. He talked funny when he said Happy Hearts and Hooves Day. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon didn’t get any cards from anypony.
At recess me, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo played tag. I was it three times and Scootaloo is really fast. I couldn’t catch her so I tag Sweetie Belle instead. Before recess was over Pipsqueak, Featherweight, and Twist wanted to join. The bell rang and it was time to go inside. In class we talked about the things we love because it was Hearts and Hooves Day. I told Miss Cheerilee that I love my Mom. Some of the ponies laugh and I didn’t like that. Miss Cheerilee said it was a very good thing that I love my mom.
When I came home Mommy was there. She asked me if I had a good day at school and I said yes. I asked her if she anypony gave her cards for Hearts and Hooves Day and she said no. She looked sad. I don’t like it when Mommy is sad because I start to cry. I told Mommy that I love her forever but she still is still sad.
We made Hearts and Hooves Muffins together. I hope she feels better after she eats them. After we eat the muffins we went to bed, but I couldn’t sleep because of how sad Mommy is. I hope Mommy finds a pony that will give her nice things for Hearts and Hooves Day. She is the best Mommy in the world.
