‘’Thanks’’

My hands receive the train ticket after I presented my special card showing that I work for the tyrant (who I still hate her by the way). Today I’m going to Ponyville to try to fill the void which I still feel inside me though I still believe that this visit will not help me in the slightest, probably I should become less pessimistic, shouldn’t I? However my first class seat waits for my rear, if you are wondering then yes I always get the first class ticket for avoid possible rabble. There is no harm in being a bit snotty after all, you know the said everything in excess is bad.
My being pass the entrance to the first class wagon which look nice by the way, unlike the rest of the wagon this has more elegance and well…cleanness, no offense but the sometimes the other wagons have their floor ‘tidy’. However, I took me a couple of seconds to find my respective seat, which was beside the window. I see through the window all kinds of ponies outside, Pegasi, Unicorns, Earth Ponies.; between them there are a couple of nobles who occasionally yell to another pony because he or she bumped and ‘stained’ their clothes.

That’s life in Canterlot for you.

As I watch the daily life of the ponies it makes me wonder how they are this…’naïve’ (I believe that I insulted them enough) where is the logic and the reason; did Celestia killed those two? Because since my arrival I didn’t believe what Twilight said about Celestia raising the sun, is impossible for a matter of fact, what?

Did you really believe that Celestia could raise the sun?

I admit that she is powerful but she isn’t ‘that’ powerful, all of that is pure propaganda. And if you are wondering about the moon then yes Celestia and Luna can raise it because the moon is smaller than the earth and obviously the sun.

That can explain to you the why Equestria always have full moon every night.

‘Booooooooring’ My mind yells

Now I regret to have arrived 20 minutes early for no reason, seriously I don’t a reason for have arrived this early because if I arrive at the last minute I can still get a ticket no matter what.

I let my body go limp on the set as my sight went upwards; even the roof of this wagon is fancy. As I watch the roof my rain started to play the events unfolded back in Ponybucks; my date with Luna. But there is a moment that really caught my attention.

Luna and I were still enjoying the decent dinner in Ponybucks, besides de constant peering eyes from other customers everything was still nice in my opinion though I didn’t know about Luna’s. However the silence graced us for a while until I opted to inquire with something that was bugging me since I discovered the truth about Equestria.

‘’Luna?’’
Her eyes looked at me before she gave a sip of her hot drink, when I looked into her eyes I didn’t see hate which I was accustomed, or a blank stare, that look was different.

‘’This was bugging me for a long while and I was wondering if you could answer this question about you sister pas-‘’ Luna immediately raised her right hoof and looked at me with a puzzled eyes, my talk stopped and my ears were ready to hear what she wanted to say to actually interrupt me.

‘’Elijah, There are knowledge that is lost forever and matter how much effort you put in searching for it you will never be able to have a miserable fraction of such knowledge, we already know how much effort you put to learn the dark truth behind my sister’s kingdom but believe me Elijah when we say there is past to leave untouched for the best; besides only our sister and us know about what we’ve already told you’’ After giving her long speech her horn was enveloped with her magical aura and levitated her cup to take another sip.

I was a bit surprised to say at least, Luna raised a very good point but I that didn’t stop me from getting what I wanted in that moment. She may have been saying the truth but occasionally I could become a stubborn person.

‘’I want to know if you sister was a heartless tyrant since the beginning’’ My tone was serious, telling her indirectly that I didn’t want her to bullshit me again like she did moments ago, yet she wasn’t forced to comply with that demand.

Surprisingly she sighed with a tone of sadness before giving me the answer.

‘’We never wanted, neither expected, to become what our parents told us to never become no matter what, but the veer was not by choice, it was out of necessity. The real world demanded inhabitants without any hint of weakness of any kind back then, you can guess what kind of rulers we used to be before the reality came to beat us.’’

I didn’t know if Luna take this long for give an answer but I waiting wouldn’t bring me harm after all.

‘’Alicorns are not immortals, let alone gods; but our magic is beyond from powerful and is impossible to us to die from old age we can always renew our bodies if we choose to take that action. Besides we can be born from normal ponies but those are very but very rare occasions, the best example would be Candace’’

‘Well I didn’t know that but it also answer my doubts about where do the alicorns come from’ My thought made me think in a naughty way also ‘omitting the part of a lot of fucking from the part of both parents of course ‘

‘’When our parents left us we had to rule the land of Equestria as mother and father educated us, ‘Love and harmony’ the tribal words for the beginning of the end of the old Equestria. 50 years, 50 years were the amount of time which Equestria bathed in joy and prosperity; the violence was no-existent, crime under cero and the war was only a faint rumor between our subjects.’’

Her eyes were caressing my soul as I keep looking at her; I let my emotions to wander a bit because this was a touchy revelation in my opinion and for Luna probably was her best moments of her young life. Still I couldn’t let all of my emotions resurface or I could have started to cry right there and in that exact moment, guilt can do that to a person; and the best example is a book which I read long ago for enjoyment, ‘Crime and Punishment’ I think it is called.

With each word her sadness was becoming more notorious to my eyes

‘’Those are memories long lost but I wish with all of my heart to return’’

My eyes widened ‘Did she… just say that?’ I was taken aback I never expected her to actually say it because that could only means Luna actually loved her sister like a younger sister should love, but by the way she was talking and her emotions were expressing gave me a conclusion that a terrible succession of events from the past lead them to become what they are in the present.

‘’What happened Luna?’’ My curious tone was very well hidden behind the soft and gentle tone which I used to ask her.

She gave me the look which begged for sympathy and the need of pity from other, but knowing her I didn’t want to take any chances so is better stay behind the safe line. Besides I wasn’t really sure if she was being completely honest with me, I didn’t know why because it was just my instinct to never trust any of the sisters, even less Celestia.

‘’Everything went downfall after the appearance of Grogar and Tirek, both were the incarnation of pure evil; and Tirek was the first who attacked Equestria’’

This discovery made me ponder, all the places where I seek for any kind of answer never mentioned about any of this guys not even a miserable word. And for how Luna was talking about them, they seemed to be worst than Hitler. Albeit why I shouldn’t compare them to Mengele I’m his fucking reincarnation!!

My brain is really fucked up

I was getting out of the point wasn’t it?

Anyways I continued to hear Luna’s answer.
‘’That damned centaur drained the life and the magic of our innocent subjects only leaving a lifeless body aftermath, Equestria, as we mentioned before, was a peaceful land without the need of guards, let alone an army. You are smart Elijah, you can figure out the rest of the story’’

My arms crossed as her compliment brought a genuine smile onto my face ‘’I’m flattered by your compliment Luna, but I couldn’t figure out what happened to him.’’ To give more life to my next question I waved slowly my right hand between us ‘’Care to enlighten me, ‘my’ Princess’’

I almost laughed when she huffed at my last statement, and let’s not forget about her cute flushed face. Seriously what was happening to her?
‘’Together with our sister, we imprisoned him into the depths of Tartarus without the slightest of hope of escape. But it didn’t matter, the damage was done’’

Her voice dropped
‘’My sister and us formed rivers of tears for countless days, we considered those unfolded events as unfair because our parents taught that ‘Good ponies will always be blessed for their actions and Bad ponies will be punished for their actions’, and that leave us the question Why?’’

‘’Celestia never was the same neither us, but she take it the worst which reason can only be told by herself; it’s a waste of time if you try to get those answers from her’’

Suddenly my mind came with a brilliant idea in my personal opinion

‘’But Luna you are the only who I would recur for answer, after all YOU are my favorite princess’’

If you didn’t know I wiggled my brows in a seductive way, just to lighten up the mood. But her reaction was different from my expectations because she just laughed off, though I changed her sad stance from a cheering one.

That’s a point in favor to me.

‘‘MISTER ELIJAH COLLINS!’’

I have been in that flashback for who knows how much, but it was a nice memory the whole date despite it was part of my plan which had to be formulated again to work accordingly to the situation. And judging for the voice the one that made me snap back to the reality was indeed a stallion, a mail pony.

My eyes glared at the annoying pony next to my comfortable seat and with his magic he has a letter being levitated in front of me. Only after the paper was on my grip did the pony trtted off the train.

‘Wait… we haven’t left Canterlot yet?’ I glanced at my watch and saw that I had only been 10 minutes which I was recalling the date
However I’ve just received a letter so is the best thing to check who the sender was, but when I noticed the red royal seal from you know who, without a second tough I placed my hands in both sides and attempted to rip the letter in two. You heard well, attempted.

‘Damnit, Celestia now enchant her letters’ I stared at the unbreakable paper as I accepted the defeat ‘’Smart move Celestia, smart move’’
Like I mentioned before there is still time before the train depart to Ponyville so I opted for the idea to see what her intention with this letter is. I hope is nothing from importance, though she rarely sends me a letter; this is the third letter on the year and December is nearing by the way.

I finished reading her PS and I felt the terrifying cold sensation on my neck near my throat where is my larynx. She sent me a clear message to me; this was real business of sum importance to her which includes me somehow.

Life is a beautiful thing to waste it, I fought for my life (in figurative terms) when I was being held captive by a very angry night princess, and of course I hate the moments which I begged but crocodiles tears can work nicely. I really appreciate my life to let Celestia end it with a flick of magic so I puckered the paper and stand up from my seat and started my small journey to the Castle.

‘’Ponyville can wait however’’
