It was around midnight, Twilight Sparkle was sleeping soundly in her bed at her castle. She was dreaming about a world filled with books that are filled with never ending excitement. That dream was interrupted, though, as a large metallic object flies over the castle at high velocity, shaking her room, and awakening everypony in the vicinity. "What in the hay was that!?" asks Twilight, that is now fully awake and startled. "How do you expect that I know?!" says Spike, that is also awake and startled. Both Twilight and Spike are now wide awake, and slightly terrified, now that the strange object flew overhead. As Twilight gets up, stretches her legs, and goes for the door, she says, "Spike, I'm going to go outside and check, whatever the hay that thing was, out. You can join if you want." Spike was hiding under his blanket. "N-no, it's fine, you go on without me, I'll be okay here." Twilight rolls her eyes, and heads out the door. When she's outside, she notices countless of Ponyville civilians heading towards the direction the flying object was. Twilight goes ahead and follows them there. When she arrives where the object seemed to crash, what she saw was, hard to believe.
It was a small aircraft, one that looks extremely more technologically advanced than even Canterlot's Royal Military's best equipment. Countless amount of ponies were scattered around the aircraft, looking at it, wondering why the aircraft was here. Suddenly, multiple ponies in suits come rushing in, pushing and shoving ponies away from the aircraft. "Stand back!" Said one of the ponies in black. "This could be dangerous equipment, we don't know what it does!" Three more ponies come rushing in, this time they're wearing engineering equipment. They come up to what seems like the cockpit and started prying the hatch off with crowbars. When they open the hatch, what they saw was the pilot, sitting down in the cockpit, not moving. Two paramedics come rushing up towards him. When they both reached him, they checked his pulse to see if he was alive. There was a long pause. One of the paramedics shakes her head, signaling to one of the ponies in black that whoever was piloting the aircraft, is now dead. "Maybe he was here to warn us about something!" Said a tall, blue stallion. "Maybe he was here to tell us the meaning of life!" Said a pink mare. "Maybe he's an alien, here to tell us that there are more out there like him!" Said a small, purple filly. Then, in less than three seconds, everypony that's in a sixty meter radius of the aircraft, started bickering about why the male pilot was here in the first place. Everypony else that's father away, is confused on why they were bickering in the first place. Then, when everything seemed like it was going to turn into a massive riot, a black stallion with a white, spiky mane and sunglasses climbed up the aircraft, took his bullhorn, and yelled, "You are all wrong! They aren't here to tell us about, life, or tell us that there or more of them, or any of that! They aren't even our allies! He was here, to start an invasion!"
Everypony, again in a sixty meter radius, stared at the pony, dumbfounded. "Er, how exactly, do you know this?" Said a yellow stallion, wearing glasses. "Yeah!" Said another. "Why should we believe you?!" "Why should you believe anypony else making random theories here?!" Said the pony, standing on top of the aircraft. A few ponies opened there mouths to answer, but they soon quickly closed them. "I bet most of you never seen something like this, but we have!" "Who's we?" Said an extremely tired mare. "Who do you think?" Everypony than looked around confused. The spikey haired pony puts his hoof up to his face, then points to the ponies in black, and himself. Simultaneously, everypony said, "Oh." "We have five recorded cases just like this, including this one. We have researched the fallen aircrafts to see what they contained, and we found , wasn't something that was made for peace, but for war." Everypony looked around, both confused and terrified. An familiar orange earth pony then raises her hoof, wanting to ask a question. It was Applejack, so that would mean that the object also flew over Sweet Apple Acres. "And what exactly did you find?" The spiky haired pony hesitated to answer, but he soon enough he did. "On all of the aircrafts, we found on the wings were missiles, air-to-ground missiles, to be exact. We have tested one of them and we found out that the explosion was half as powerful as the Sonic Rainboom, the famous stunt the pegasus Rainbow Dash did." "That's me!" Shouted out Rainbow Dash, that was even further away from Twilight than Applejack. "Good to know that. Anyways, we also found out that they were equipped with JDAM's." Most of the ponies were confused, and others actually understood what JDAM means. Again, the spiky haired pony puts his hoof up to his face. "Joint Direct Attack Munition." Said one of the ponies in black. Most of them, still confused. "Anyways, these JDAM's are powerful enough to completely demolish an entire Ponyville house!" Everypony gasped, except for Rainbow Dash, who was still half asleep. A random Ponyville civilian raised her hoof and said, "That doesn't mean that they were going to attack us!" Ponies started to agree with her. "Oh really now? When one of the crashed in a Manehatten highway, it fired off two missed, both missed a large skyscraper. It was obvious it was aiming for it, but we weren't clear that it was either missiles, or rubble, until we actually looked at the aircrafts' weapons. It's quite clear that they're here to invade!" Another random pony runs up to the front, before getting blocked from the ponies in black, and yells, "Then what do we do if they're invading?!" The spiky haired pony looks down in disappointment. "That's the problem, we don't know what to do." Everypony started to panic, and soon, in seven seconds, ponies started screaming , and running in circles. "Enough!!!" Everypony stopped in there tracks. "All we do know is that they're here to attack. The best thing to do, before they attack, would be to set up defenses. We have spoken to Princess Celestia, and she fill provide the funds to help us make the defenses." Everypony settled down. "Now that we're clear on what we do, please leave the crash site, now!" Everypony didn't bother to argue, they left as soon as they can, back to their homes. Except Twilight Sparkle, who is interested on who the spiky haired, sunglasses wearing pony was.
