1 Twilight Sparkles surprise birthday party

Twilight rose from bed that morning like any other, however this morning was quiet. "Spike? Spiiike?" Twilight hollered, leaning over the bed. After a moment of confusion Twilight remembered marking the calender last night. "Happy birthday Miss Sparkle!" she said to herself in the mirror, magically lifting her brush from the table and sliding it through her mane. A brief moment after her outburst she blushed, hardly able to contain her excitement for today's events.

Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy gathered into sugar-cube corner, followed behind by Spike the Dragon. Pinkie jumped up and down ready to sing-

Is the party today!

Yeah you bet, it'll be the best yet!

Lets spread the word hurray!

Hey Rarity, we'll surprise Twilight today!

I'll be there, just tell me where!

And we'll all celebrate!♪

Shortly after their joyful song and dance RainbowDash leaves unexpectedly, bumping into the Cutie Mark Crusaders who were heading into sugar-cube corner. "What's her problem?" Applejack announced. everypony gave a mutual shrug.

RainbowDash flew up to the highest cloud in Ponyville and rested on top of it. "Oh, of all the days to mess up.. i had to pick Twilights birthday." Rainbow said covering her face with the cloud.
