I thought it could be interesting, to write a story about Sombra´s rise to power (and fall to evil) from his own perspective.
This FanFiction will play during 13 Days, starting on the day before his father died, ending on the day of his coronation.
There is a risk in interpreting prophecies…

This story is mostly experimental, threefold:
1.: It´s one of my first writings in English (I´m from Germany), so it may have some wrong used vocabulary or irritatinglylong and complicated sentences. Please tell me those.
2.: It is my first writing in Diary-style. Diary-style is a bit difficult because it is always in retroperspective (since you usually write the entry after you did something/something happened to you. You also can´t have something happen to your main character (the writer) while they are writing. Except, of course, things that can happen to you while you write. You also couldn´t let your main character die, because then, who would write the diary? Wait…
That´s would make a pretty scary ending…
But not suitable for this, sadly.
The Advantages of writing in Diary-style is that it is good for character development, since the main character thinks about what happened, and draws conclusions from it. (This, actually, is the main point why one should write a diary themselves.)
3.: As I said, it is good for charactar development. While I´m quite good in writing cut-out scenes where the characters doesn´t change much, I have to learn about how to do some good character development.
Sombra´s turn to evil is, as I think, a very good way to do this: At first, he is a good, caring, and like-able character, and at the end he is, well, evil. What happens inbetween is what makes such a story interesting.
