June 18, 1815. The Battle of Waterloo.
Last and disastrous battle ended Napoleon defeated the British and their allies. We, under the command of Wellington, fought for the British Empire. And the Prussians, under the command of Blucher. But everything in a row.
I and my friends were in the same infantry regiment. Of the thirty soldiers left only five: I (Fleet), Ken, Thomass, Oliver and James.
I was just a farmer for 25 years. Trying to reduce "make ends meet", I vyrashival grain and sold, and then went into the army, that earn more. All that I can do - is to shoot and reload a musket and saber fight.
Ken was the oldest of us 29 years. Knew medicine: Could reduce a back bone to stop the bleeding. Thanks to him, many survived and even went back into operation.
Thomas (26 years) was the smartest of us. He knew several languages and tackled the most difficult puzzles. But average sult with a musket and sword. Sometimes it can give some strange scientific term.
Oliver (28 years) the most experienced soldiers of us. Quickly reloaded his musket and cleverly fenced. We all learned from him military training.
James was only 19 years old. Do not have time to even pastupit service and was sent to the front. He did not know a lot about muskets, long reloading it. Barely holding a long sword and it raised his hand. But the swing was so weak that it may discourage a child.
So. We walked across the battlefield, perespupaya dead bodies. In one hand I held a musket in the other - Flag of Great Britain.
"Oh my God, I can not believe I'm going to die here!" - James Keach, wiped his hand sweat and tears.
Here near Oliver hit him in the chest with his elbow and said, "Shut up, you idiot! We're all gonna die!"
"Guys, stop - I said - let's go."
We walked a few meters in front of us and slammed into the ground cannonball. With shouts and cries, we fell to the ground. Last I saw it falling on the ground, Ken, and my eyes darkened.
The darkness lasted for almost an eternity, if I may say so. However, the light in his eyes brought me back to life. Getting up and sitting down on the ground, I tried to get used to the light. When I began to see well, said Ken Thomas, Oliver and James. Coughing and grabbing rum air, they began to slowly get up to heat. All were alive. When he looked around, I was shocked. The sky was bright, grass green and soft, and around nebilo no corpse.
"Oh, what's going on, where are we?" - Ken started.
"Do not know. Waterloo It's definitely not." - Thomas said.
"Well, it's probably some kind of forest." - Oliver said.
"Where is everyone? Where is everyone?" - James said through tears.
"So, guys, calm down. We need to get together and find someone local realties." - I said.
Picking up the muskets and other useful items that are around us, we went to the eyes look. We walked about 15 minutes, until they reached the hill. We decided to rest beside him. Thomas decided to climb to the top of the hill and look around.
"Guys, look at this" - said Thomas hilltop.
We did not argue, and climbed the hill behind Thomas. When we climbed we saw - THIS!
