This story takes place in Equestria, in an alternate universe. The Gryphons have invaded Equestria, intent on taking it over! Celestia formed an Equestrian Army to combat this invading force. She also created an airforce. Technology has advanced since the Gryphons invaded and now, as well as serving as fighters and ground support, pagasi serve alongside Earth Ponies and Pegasi in the Equestrian 3rd Airborne. These elite soldiers jump out of planes, new invention made to carry ponies into the air. THe Earth ponies and Unicorns use parachutes to slow their descent, and pegasi use their wings. This story focuses mainly on a Mare named Starlight Sapphire, and her lover, Candy. Both are members of the 3rd AD.
