Previous Chapter

As you start remembering the good times you had with your family, you can't nut feel...relived a bit.  As if the weight of a thousand frozen tears you held in was being broken and released from your eyes.  You soon realize that your crying, but this crying is some what different. Its not the crying of despair, nor is it the crying of the unknown.  Its the crying you have when you realize, that your wife is pregnant, or your daughter says her first word. Its the crying of happyness, and you realize that this crying is fine and some what feels..better and safer.  You sit there thinking to your self as your tears start to fade away, and the sun hits the most beautiful peak at the end of the field  "My wife is gone...my daughter is gone but does that really mean I should hang myself for it? Does that mean I should hope my daughter is dead just, so I can visit her in the after life?  No it doesn't.  It should mean I pray for her to live a happy life, it means I should care for  our daughter and help her through a situation and not stand here and do nothing but cry and tell myself my life is over. Yea, I should be embracing the problems that this hole epidemic caused, not kill myself over it.  Sure it'll be hard, telling Daisy that mommy is gone, and that we might have to move somewhere more..peaceful, but it'll beat letting her sit where ever she is right now and rot.  I should be out there finding my baby girl and comforting her and telling her that mommy is somewhere out there watching us right now..and maybe even waiting for us"  As this thought runs through the sanity part of your brain you soon realize that the rope that was gripping your neck, is now off and the picture of your wife and child is being held tightly against chest.  You soon realize that, you need to not only find your daughter but pray to your wife that she is living a peaceful life up there, and that she is no longer has to worry about you, but only..pray that you and Daisy can make it through her death.  As you trot away you think to yourself "Your loved ones will always be with you, through life and death and besides I know she'll always be with me in my heart"  As your walking away you can't help but listen to the soft, calming wind and here what you swear was a "Thank you"  in your...wife's voice.
