//-------------------------------------------------------// Depressing Life -by Cumulus Spirit- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// killing depression //-------------------------------------------------------// killing depression As you start remembering the good times you had with your family, you can't nut feel...relived a bit.  As if the weight of a thousand frozen tears you held in was being broken and released from your eyes.  You soon realize that your crying, but this crying is some what different. Its not the crying of despair, nor is it the crying of the unknown.  Its the crying you have when you realize, that your wife is pregnant, or your daughter says her first word. Its the crying of happyness, and you realize that this crying is fine and some what feels..better and safer.  You sit there thinking to your self as your tears start to fade away, and the sun hits the most beautiful peak at the end of the field  "My wife is gone...my daughter is gone but does that really mean I should hang myself for it? Does that mean I should hope my daughter is dead just, so I can visit her in the after life?  No it doesn't.  It should mean I pray for her to live a happy life, it means I should care for  our daughter and help her through a situation and not stand here and do nothing but cry and tell myself my life is over. Yea, I should be embracing the problems that this hole epidemic caused, not kill myself over it.  Sure it'll be hard, telling Daisy that mommy is gone, and that we might have to move somewhere more..peaceful, but it'll beat letting her sit where ever she is right now and rot.  I should be out there finding my baby girl and comforting her and telling her that mommy is somewhere out there watching us right now..and maybe even waiting for us"  As this thought runs through the sanity part of your brain you soon realize that the rope that was gripping your neck, is now off and the picture of your wife and child is being held tightly against chest.  You soon realize that, you need to not only find your daughter but pray to your wife that she is living a peaceful life up there, and that she is no longer has to worry about you, but only..pray that you and Daisy can make it through her death.  As you trot away you think to yourself "Your loved ones will always be with you, through life and death and besides I know she'll always be with me in my heart"  As your walking away you can't help but listen to the soft, calming wind and here what you swear was a "Thank you"  in your...wife's voice. //-------------------------------------------------------// Depression is a bi-h //-------------------------------------------------------// Depression is a bi-h You stand there on an hill staring at the sunset, not being able to think rather you want to stay on this planet..or leave it forever.  The more this flys through your head, the more it hurts.  It hurts so much that you feel the only way to cure it...is to wrap the rope you hung in the tree your sitting under around your neck and tighten it intill you die from loss of oxygen.  Its been a week since you got sad information about your wife and child. While you where away on important business, you had the most saddest information of your life.      Your wife..has died of an heart attack, and your child ran away from the scaring event and has not yet been found by anypony.  As you sit there with the only picture of your daughter and wife you begin to tell yourself " Why me, out of all the ponys in this horrible world of ours..why...why did it have to be me" You start to cry at this point.  The thought of it just makes you want to die, just to join your wife and if possible your...child "Wait, what the hell am I saying".  You manage to stop yourself in your words. You think to yourself "Why would I say that, why would I hope my own daughter is dead just so I can join her and Rosey in the after life?"...So many questions are going through your head at this point.  Never have you ever thought so dark like that, or for that fact you never thought like that before.  Your head is starting to over flow with questions, you can't tell what would kill you first, the depression or the rope you have around your throat.  As you sit there, with your head filled with painful questions and your heart braking, piece by piece, you can't help but start thinking of the good times.  Come to think of it, you remember something very specific told to you from your mother years ago after your father passed away.  Infact it was a sane she said at every funeral you've been to as a kid, which was two and that sane was "Memory's help fight the darkness that lurks within" As a child you couldn't really understand what she meant, but at this point you realize what she meant.  "Fight the depression" The darkness being the depression and the memory's being the light that grows inside of you to defeat the darkness and bring life to you again.  As this thought runs through your head, you can't help but...smile at this a little.  The thought of it brought not only joy but peace to your half shattered and frozen heart.  "Yea, why join the darkness when I can be some where happy"  You said to yourself as you stared at the picture of you wife and daughter, you soon realize theres no reason what so ever for you to be doing this.  Putting yourself through all of this pain, all this misery, is only going to make everthing worse.  "Why do something  like that when all you simply have to do is remember"   You say to yourself, as you start to feel that memory's are the natural cure for that horrible word...depression.
