He grew up living the normal life in Cloudsdale. As a filly he had many friends for he attended a public school. He was a normal student with normal grades and normal friends. He loved video games but hated sports. He was awful at them always getting out shined by Rainbow Dash and other very athletic ponies. He would sometimes hang out with Fluttershy because she was a usually lonely pony. All attempts to make her more outgoing failed though. But Potato was fine with her being shy anyways. Potato wasn't very lonely so he himself did not know  what is was like to be shy. But he still was glad to have her as a friend. In middle school Potato found an interest in baking. He came across this while attending CTE classes. These classes where made so students could get an idea of the kind of things one will have to do when they become a stallion/mare. As expected by this age Potato became more… well more of a teenager. He went through a few crushes most ending with disappointment. Typical middle school drama, despite this he maintained good grades. And he eventually made it past his middle years without too much trouble and was on his way to high school. In high school Potato joined as many classes about baking/cooking while still maintaining the required curriculum. On one day Potato was asked to be placed in AP classes. He pondered the idea but ultimately refused the request so he could focus on his passion for baking. Potato struggled a little while in high school mainly because it can be very overwhelming at times. For example Potato was once asked out by a mare that he had liked for a few months prior. Potato thought it over for many days but finally came to the painful conclusion to focus on life rather than distracting feelings. However feelings did get the best of him for he became depressed having shut down a chance for "true" love. After a few weeks he recovered and continued his hard work to become a baker. High school finally had ended and Potato passed with above average scores. Potato couldn't be happier. But Potato had only one problem left. He needed to find work. Potato began his search in Cloudsdale since he already lived there. After a few days of scouring the town and reading newspapers he knew that he would not find work here in Cloudsdale. Potato decided he would have to move to the ground and live with earth ponies and unicorns. The though slightly scared him for he had only known Pegasi all his life. But he had to brave it and make the journey to the land below if he ever wanted to become a baker. Potato bought a nice little house in a town named Ponyville. Such as the name suggested he expected lots of Earth Ponies. And he expected right. With his things now unpacked and his house settled he figured he should get to know the locals since he was going to live here now. The first pony Potato met was an Earth Pony by the name of Lyra. “Hello there, I’m new here, what might your name be?” Potato greeted. “My name is Lyra Heartstrings, a pleasure to meet you, what’s your name?” Lyra replied. “My name is Lustful Potato, and the pleasure is all mine” –Potato continued- “What do you know of this place?” “You mean Ponyville?” –Lyra paused to think- “Well it is a really friendly place the people here are nice, but on the other hand-” “What’s a hand?” Potato interrupted. Lyra glared at Potato as if she had no desire to continue talking then walked away. “Earth ponies are weird” Potato thought to himself. Potato decided to just find the job, he could get back to his neighbors later. Potato walked the streets admiring every building and décor Ponyville had to offer. After a few moments of appreciating the beautiful land he came across a building looking like a ginger bread house. Potato knew this had to be the bakery. Potato entered the doors with eager and excitement. He was greeted by a wonderful aroma of baked goods and sweet candies. Potato knew he was in the right place now. Potato then found himself face-to-face with a bright pink smiling pony. “Hiya! What can I do for ya’?” Pinkie asked. “Oh, uh, I was looking for work here, I’d like to bake” Potato replied reluctantly. “Oh, you’d have to talk to Ms. And Mr. Cake about that, I’m new here so I couldn’t help you with that” -Pinkie finished with a wave then bounced away into a room near the back-. Another pony exited the room looking clearly older than the pink one. “So, I hear you wanna become a baker,” Mr. Cake greeted. “Oh, yes I have studied it every chance I got” Potato replied nervously. “Ok, quick question, how many eggs for chocolate dessert lasagna?!” Mr. Cake asked. “Oh... umm... 2 large eggs?” Potato replied with ease. “You’ll make a fine baker, welcome aboard!” Mr. Cake went back into the room for just mere seconds before returning with an apron and an oven mitt. “Take these and get to work, we don’t have any requests so go nuts kid” Mr. Cake smiled then left for the room once again. Pinkie pie came bouncing back into the room bearing a large grin. “So you got the job?” Pinkie asked. “Y-Yes I did, that was fast” Potato said appearing dazed by the previous moments. “Yea, it doesn’t take much to get into Sugar cube corner, you just have to know what you’re doing” –Pinkie to a quick breath- “Also my name’s Pinkie Pie, What’s yours?” Pinkie asked. Potato looked up at Pinkie with a smile, “Mine’s Lustful Potato, nice to meet you”. “Well we have work to do, we should get to it, *gasp*, wanna make cupcakes?” Pinkie asked. “Sure why not?” Potato said as the two ponies made for the kitchen. After a hard day at work Potato returned to his house. Threw his apron onto the couch, and slumped into his room. Potato fell onto the bed bouncing him back up a little then settling into the bed. Potato looked out the window at the starry night thinking to himself. Today was really good, I’m glad I chose to do this. Potato’s eyes grew heavy as he drifted off into the dream land where he would imagine all of the things he would soon bake. Tomorrow will be even better, I can tell.
