When her mother announces that she is taking a trip with her husband to Manehattan for a romantic weekend, Amethyst Star is distraught over the request to foalsit her younger sister, Dinky Doo. Despite harboring secret anguish unknowingly brought on by her sibling, Amethyst finds herself accepting the task...and regretting it soon after.

Can Amethyst find a way to cope with the heartache Dinky's presence brings? Better yet, can she find it within herself to tell her family what caused her to feel this way towards her own sister?
