A thousand years ago civil war engulfed Equestria. The loyalist Forces of Celestia met the revolutionary forces of Luna in horrific battle across the once peaceful land. Celestia's army, hungry for more ponies to fill it's ranks, rises regiments of conscripts to fight the rising tide of discontent ponies flocking to Luna's cause. An unassuming Earth pony is forced into Celestia's service to battle the forces of darkness.
