"WE WENT RIGHT BACK INTO THE LAB AND STARTED DOING SOME FITTINGS FOR HORN DEVICES. ONE THOUGHT WE HAD WAS TO SOMEHOW WRAP ALL OUR WEAPONS IN THE NETTING BUT THAT PROVED TO BE A JOKE AND THEY WERE USELES IN A FIREFIGHT DUE TO BEING WRAPPED IN NET. ANOTHER THOUGHT OF OURS WAS TO JUST WRAP ANYTHING WE WOULD USE IN EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE NETTING, AGAIN A DUMB THOUGHT. THEN THE PONY HAD A BREAKTHROUGH. HE HAD GOTTEN SOME OF THE NETTING CAUGHT ON HIS HORN AND ACCIDENTLY USED SOME MAGIC TO MOVE SOMETHING IN HIS CONFUSION. I WENT TO THE ITEM AND TO MY SHOCK IT DIDNT REGISTER ON THE DEVICE. WE HAD CRACKED IT. IT WAS OBVIOUS TO BE HONEST THE MESH BLOCKED THE FILM FORM BEING RELEASED ONTO WHAT WAS MAGICLY MOVED. THE RESERCH PONY HAD MADE THE OBSERVATION ALSO THAT ALONG WITH NOT LEAVING A TRACE THE MAGIC WAS MORE CONDENCED AND ACCURATLY CHANNLED AND HAD MUCH MORE FORCE THAN JUST HAVEING BEEN USED IN AN OPEN SPACE WHERE IT COULD DISAPATE OVER A GREAT DISTANCE. JUST TO BE SURE ON OUR THOUGHTS I HAD HIM USE HIS MAGIC OUTSIDE ALONG WITH ME. I HAD ON A PIECE OF THE MESH AND HE DID’NT. WE BOTH USED OUR MAGIC TO FORCEABLY MOVE SOMETHING A SMALL DISTANCE AND TO OUR SHOCK MY MAGIC NOT ONLY MOVED THE OBJECT A GREATER DISTANCE BUT AT A FASTER RATE AS WELL. WE WERE ON TO SOMETHING HUGE. UNFORTUNATELY SO WAS THE N.L.R THEY HAD COME ACROSS THE SAME THING AND WERE NOW STARTING TO TRACK MY RESISTANCE PONIES THROUGH MAGIC AFTER ATTACKS. I LOST SEVERAL CLOSE FRIENDS TO THEM"

He went on to show us several other new and useful things that he and his r.n.d team had come up with including improving upon the N.L.R secret police armor. He told us that your common earth pony can’t really handle a weapon and how hard it is for them to do so. So what he came up with was spring action weapons that came out of either the back or sides of the armor. He had the earth pony come out of her armor and try to hold a common rifle in her mouth and try to pull the trigger with her tongue which was the way most would do so. She missed every shot even being an expert shooter. Then he had her put the armor back on and try again. "GATLING GUN ACTIVATE, TARGET WATTER MELLON" the melon was shredded to pulp. "INTEGRADED TARGET AQUISITION SYSTEM, BASICLY POINT TELL, AND SHOOT, NOMORE HAVEING TO PULL THAT PESKY TRIGGER WITH HER TOUNGE. ALSO CHECK THIS OUT” He had the pony aim her Gatling gun at me and told the weapon to fire, "CAN NOT COMPLETE REQUEST FRIENDLY UNIT"

Next he had the Pegasus demonstrate the system designed for Pegasus ponies. He first had the pony take off into the air and released a ground target for him to fire at. Using the basic sights of an old rifle he had to line up the shot while at the same time had to look to his small heads up device for any and all info on where he was in the air. Then to top it off he had to lower his wing with the weapon on it into position to fire it. It took all of 5 to 8 minutes to acquire, target, aim, and fire the weapon. He hit the target yes, but it took forever. Next just as before he had the pony get into his armor and try again, this time the weapon came out from under the armor in the wing mount, auto aimed, and leveled the pony out using a counter balance in the other wing to make the shot level and accurate. 2 minutes and the target was acquired, the weapon leveled, and the target shot, several times might I add thanks to a built in reloading system.

Next was the unicorn. Same drill only this time something new was pulled out. First he had the pony go through the whole shooting, and killing a target, and all that. Then came a shock to both me and kill shot. "OK NOW I WANT YOU TO MOVE THAT TRAIN CAR USEING REGULAR EVERYDAY MAGIC OK" The pony though able to move the car was extremely tired after having done so and had only moved it a few feet. "OK NOW, TAKE A QUICK BREAK TO REGAIN YOUR STRENGTH THEN PUT THE ARMOR ON OK” After 15 to 20 minutes the pony was in her armor and was asked to try again. "HOLY FUCKING LUNA" was all I could get out as the car went racing over our heads for a hundred yards and came down with a crash. "I INTIGRADED THE MESH INTO THE HELMET AND FOUND THAT ONE COULD INCREASE THEIR MAGIC OUTPUT 100 FOLD JUST BY ADJUSTING THE ANGLES AND THE WAY THE MESH SITS WITH THE HORN. IF THE PONY FOCUSES ALL THEIR ENERGY ON WHAT THEY ARE DOING AT THE TIME THE PONY DOESNT WASTE NEAR THE ENERGY IT WOULD NORMALY TAKE”

Grey Hoof also showed us line of sight fire, a use for I.T.A.S that in a major situation would make quick work of any pony in the way of an escape. it allowed the pony using the I.T.A.S to disable the friendly unit warning voice and made all weapons fire at one time and to deploy either smoke grenades, or any other type of grenade to be deployed while all the time protecting the pony in the armor.

"THESE PONIES ARE NOW A PART OF YOUR COMPANY; THEY WILL TRAIN ONLY THOSE WHO SHOW THE MOST ABILITY TO CARRY SUCH A RESPONCIBILITY AS TO BE THE NEWLY CREATED N.C.E SPECIAL FORCES UNIT. USE THEM TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY’S AND THEY WILL PROVE THEIR WORTH 100 FOLD"

We were on our way up the elevator with the new armor and ponies with us. Grey Hoof had told us that the armor came fully operational and with a full lifetime supply of meds, healing potions, and the ability to somewhat repair itself but that if it became too damaged had to be repaired by a specially trained pony who had to be on the field with the armor at all times. He also gave us plenty of healing potions and a way to make our own form now on along with a hoof full of train tickets.
