The Royal Family

Its was a Saturday, a beautiful, sunny, Saturday. Cadence, the lovely pink princess woke up at 9:00 am to the smell of a horrable scent.

"yuck! what is that smell?" cadence said

Her eyes watered at the smell of that horrible scent. She decided to go downstairs to investigate.

When she got downstairs and walked into the kitchen the smoke alarm was on and there was smoke EVERYWHERE.

When the smoke cleared up she saw shining armor...COOKING?

"Shining armor what in the equestria are you doing?!" cadence exclaimed with a suprized look on her face.

"uh heh heh" he chuckled "well since its our anniversary i thought i would cook you breakfast but i don't really cook that good"

Cadence looked at the food he tried to prepare, Heart shaped pancakes and eggs and fruit.

"Aww shining, you din't have to do this" she said "you know we have a chef"

"Well i just wanted to do something special" he said sounding upset

Cadence smiled "you dont have to do anything for me, as long as you are by my side that is all that matters"

"I love you honey" shining armor said giving her a peck on the lips

"i love you to" cadence said smiling "now lets let the chef make us something".

~Later that evening~

"that was a great movie!" cadence said as they walked out of the movie theater

"i thought you would enjoy it" shining armor smirked

"well now we should head back home.."

"No not yet!" shining armor cried "we still have dinner"

"i dont know shining, im still pretty full from breakfast and the snacks we had at the movie theater"

"Please honey!" shining armor begged his wife "its a special dinner!"

Cadence looked at him and smiled "fine but im not going to eat to much"

~At dinner~

The married couple walked into the five star restaurant that shining armor had made reservations at.

"hello good sir!" shining armor smiled at the waiter

"Im a woman" the waitress grunted at him with her beady eyes.

"oh um sorry" he blushed "reservation for shining armor"

"right this way" the waitress mumbled

The couple sat a a table in the middle of the room and looked over the menu's

Suddenly a violenist came over to the table.

"Hey charlie! Que the song!" shining armor called out.

Charlie the violinist soon begun to play a screechy song on the violin.

Cadence and shining armor both covered their ears.

"Um isent this nice?" shining armor said smiling a fake smile.

"No" cadence said "not really"

They both looked over the menu again to decide what to eat.

"um shining?!" she yelled over the annoying loud music

"yes honey?!" he yelled back

"i cant eat any of this food!"

"why not are you not hungry?"

"a little but the main reason is because it has poppy seeds in all the dishes!"

"do you not like poppie seed?!" shining armor said

"No it's just that I'm allergic to them"

Shining armor sighed and grabbed her hoof

"Let's go home honey" he said.

~at home~

Shining armor and cadence were laying on the bed watching movies.

"Hey babe I'm sorry about tonight" shining armor agolagized to his wife

"It's ok" cadence said "just sometimes things can't be that perfect"

"Yea I think Iearned that lesson"

Cadence giggled at shining armors answer.

"You know I was watching the kids across the street today" shining armor said

"Yeah?"

"And it made me realize maybe we should have kids?" Shining armor bit his lip

"Yea that would be nice" cadence sighed

"So maybe do you want to..."

"I'd love to shining"

"Really?" Shining armor said "are you up to this commitment?"

"I've always wanted kids" cadence said

"Ok" shining armor said "let's make a baby"
