Dexter (A twist on Cupcakes and Cheerilee's Garden)

Dexter, a quiet stallion is on a stroll through the town of Ponyville when he comes across a funeral for a number of school fillies and colts and when he checks it out, he finds that there are no bodies and there he gets suspicious and at the same time, everypony is talking about the disappearance of weather pegasus, Rainbow Dash. Dexter decides to investigate both cases and finds that the suspects aren't as they seem….

Chapter 1

It was a rather gloomy, cloudy and rainy day in Ponyville and a stallion had come out of his home to go for a stroll and nopony really knows why he would go strolling in bad weather but the stallion who was strolling was rather quiet and went by the name of Dexter, he was a blue color and his cutie mark was a sliced grapefruit with a knife. Dexter used to work for a pony investigation force and solved murder cases but quit his job once he moved to Ponyville and was retired but nobody knew his secret that he was in fact, a serial killer who kills serial killers. As he was walking through the streets, he came across a funeral and decided to see what was going on, as he got there, there were some gloomy mares and stallions mourning the deaths of a bunch of school fillies and colts. As he took a closer look, he saw that there was no bodies and he asked a couple ponies and they said that the bodies were never found and there at that moment was when Dexter got suspicious and he had then gone up to a lavender alicorn who he had recognized as Princess Twilight Sparkle and there Dexter had said to her "Hello Princess" Twilight had then looked up and saw Dexter looking over her and said back "H....Hi" she was saying in a choked up voice, "Do you mind if I ask you a couple questions about all of this?" "Sure, go ahead', "Do you remember when you last saw these fillies and colts?" Twilight then said again in a choked up voice "Yes, I last saw them performing in a play that I was invited to and then after the show, the Theater burned down and me and Rainbow Dash saved their teacher Cheerilee but the bodies were never found but that was the last I ever saw of them...". Dexter then got even more suspicious about the whole ordeal "Do you know anypony that was with them before they disappeared and the place burned down?" "Yes, Cheerilee was with them before they disappeared and on top of this is that..........one of my best friends is missing, Rainbow Dash......." Twilight started to cry, Dexter started to get a gloomy look on his face "Hey It's all right but do you know where Cheerilee is sitting so I can ask her a few questions" Twilight stopped crying and she pointed to where Cheerilee was sitting "Thank you Princess Twilight" "Your Welcome.....wait I never got your name" "You can call me Dexter". He had then walked away and talked to Cheerilee and he had then said to her "Hello Cheerilee, I need to ask you a couple questions about the disappearances of your fillies and colts, is that okay?" "Yes, ask away" Dexter then said "Do you know what happened to your students before the fire happened?" "I remember them performing and doing their parts for it and then the fire happened and I guess they got burned but the bodies were never found..." "I see and did you do anything to try to save your students?" "I couldn't, I had passed out from the smoke". Dexter wasn't buying it but decided to bare with it and had then said a good bye before leaving the funeral but as Dexter was leaving, he couldn't help but think that Cheerilee was lying and he was going to get to the bottom of this. As he was going back to his house, he saw a flyer taped to a window that said "MISSING: Rainbow Dash of the Pegasus Weather Team, Missing for 5 days, If you have seen her, contact the Mayor's office" and there Dexter said in his head " Well looks like Twilight wasn't lying................fuck...........looks like another one to work on ON TOP of the fire incident" Dexter had now gotten home and laid down in bed for some sleep but as he was lying down, he began to think about everything that had happened that day and was trying to piece it all together, "It was either Twilight or Cheerilee but I don't believe either of them, I believe that they are working together......................no that's fucking stupid and besides, I don't even have enough evidence to support that but I'll start Investigating tomorrow along with the damn disappearance of Rainbow Dash so looks like shit has hit the fan here.................fuck........". He had then fallen asleep but the real work would start the next day.
