The first encounter
Pinkie's procedure

The next thing Pinkie knew, she was lying on another cot. She opened her eyes, and noticed she was lying on her tummy. Her back must of been broken.
"Wake up sleepy head." Iggy said happily, his hands behind his back for some reason.
"Iggy?" Pinkie asked wearily. "Am I hallucinating, or are there two of you?"
There was another koopa standing by Iggy. His blue hair was spiked, and his shell was round. He had a little, pudgy belly, but he had a wide grin on his face and a scepter in his hand.
"No silly." The Koopa laughed. "I'm Larry, his brother!"
"Oh.." Pinkie closed her tired eyes again. "How did you guys find me? I thought I was dead for sure.."
"Well, I was watching the news." Iggy said. "I saw Ponyville had a roaring fire consuming it, so I rushed right over with Larry to see if you were okay. I checked every building and finally saw your head poking out of that candy place. I told Larry to use his scepter and spray water so it would stop the log from burning. Then, me and Larry picked up the log and brought you here."
"Yeah I have water powers." Larry bragged, tapping the top of his scepter. It glowed blue; almost the same type of blue as his hair.
Iggy glared at him.
"Well thank you both." Pinkie quietly said, her eyes still closed.
Larry and Iggy both blushed.
Pinkie's eyes shot open. "Wait! Is Gummy okay?"
"This little guy?" Iggy asked. He took his hands out from behind his back and held up a tiny alligator.
It was Gummy!
"Oh Gummy. My baby.." Pinkie took him from his hands and cuddled him.
"We found him biting onto your hair." Larry pointed out. "We figured it must be yours."
Pinkie was so happy. "Is my back okay?"
Iggy bit his lip. "Frankly, no. It will take a while to heal. You broke five bones in it and punctured the back of your lung."
Another blue haired koopa came in, but his hair was shaped like Albert Einstein. He was carrying a cooler and had a box of vinyl gloves and masks in his other hand
"Who's this now?" Pinkie asked.
"I'm Ludwig." He answered in a fancy voice. "Pleased to meet you. I'm here to help your back heal."
"Yeah, he's the one who's machine sent me into the Everfree Forest." Iggy implied, looking at him.
Ludwig rolled his eyes and put on vinyl gloves and a mask. He took out an ice bag from the cooler and placed it on Pinkie's back.
"That's cold!" She shrieked.
"Remain calm or the procedure won't work." He bluntly said, pulling another thing out of the cooler.
"Procedure?" Pinkie asked, frightened.
"Oh yeah." Iggy rubbed the back of his neck. "Ya see, your lung is punctured, like I said earlier. The right one needs to be replaced.
Ludwig reveled what he was holding in his hand. It was a tiny, plastic cup containing an orangish liquid.
Pinkie was very nervous. She never had to be cut open before.
Ludwig handed her the cup. "Drink." He ordered.
Pinkie took it and reluctantly swallowed the medicine.
"Good." Ludwig said. "Do you feel sleepy?"
"Yes.." Pinkie said, her voice trailing off. Slowly, her eyes closed.
Ludwig took one more thing out of the cooler. It was a lung. "Okay, let's begin." He took a tiny medical saw from his pocket (he was wearing a doctor's coat you know) and ran it along Pinkie's back.
Larry covered his eyes but Iggy watched carefully.
Pinkie's back was cut open. Iggy and Ludwig saw her bones and a lot of blood.
Ludwig took a cloth from his other pocket and wiped some of the blood away from the incision. He took a knife and cut the branch the lung was on. He sliced the left branch and took the whole lung out. He looked at the hole in it; one no bigger than a crumb; and put it in the cooler. Next, Ludwig took the other lung and placed it inside her. He picked up the branches that were still in Pinkie's body and sewed them to the new lung. Then, he closed her incision and took a big bandage from his pocket. Finally, He stuck it on her scar.
"It's done." Iggy tapped Larry on the shoulder.
"Okay.." Larry said.
Ludwig took off his gloves and mask, each coated in small amounts of blood, and threw them in the garbage. "My work here is done." He began to walk away.
"Wait!" Iggy grabbed his hand. "Don't you have to put a cast on her back?"
"That's physically impossible." Ludwig pulled his hand away from Iggy's grasp. "Anyway, why are you so worried about her? She's fine now."
"No reason." Iggy kicked at the ground.
