The Friends and The Cousin

         "Hey Apple Bloom! I got an idea to earn our cutiemarks!" said Babs.

          "I would sure love to hear it, Babs, if we were still into our cutiemarks." Apple Bloom said.

                Oh dear, let's go back to earlier before this actually happened..

                It was a boring, dismal day for the Cutiemark Crusaders. It was raining, so they couldn't do any crusading outdoors. This was when they started to lose interest in crusading. They decided to play go fish to brighten up the mood.

      "Got any sixes, Scootaloo?" said Sweetie Belle.

        "Nope, do you have any fives?" Scootaloo said.

          "Nope, do you have any fours, Apple Bloom?" Sweetie Belle said.

        "Yes, but I just realized something." Apple Bloom said

           "What did you realize, Apple Bloom? " said Scootaloo..

           "I realized that why should we hunt for our cutiemarks when we know it'll take time. We should just wait for us to realize our special talent instead of rushing it." Apple Bloom stated loud and clear.

             "I have to agree with you there."  Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle said in unison.

       "Oh look, a letter!" Apple Bloom said. "It's from Babs!"

       "Open it!" The other crusaders said.

        "Oh, she's opened a Crusaders branch in Manehattan, this is worse than I thought!" Scootaloo  said.

         "I mean, we don't even crusade anymore. We just hang out." Apple Bloom said.

          "I sometimes think it was silly that we did crusade in the first place. I mean each of us have special talents, and we obviously all recognize each others, but not our own. We should just tell each other our talents. Who's with me ponies?" Sweetie Belle stated, empowering and passionate.

       "But Babs is visiting in two days. TWO DAYS PONIES! Two days to prepare this place for her visit, we should just show her that it's better hanging out."  Then a shout came from outside of their clubhouse.

     "Why what is all that ruckus about? Ah'm trying to get to sleep!" Applejack stated.

        "Sorry Applejack, we've just decided that we don't want to crusade anymore, but simply just let us discover our talents by time. I think that's what everypony wants from us, and that's what we want. So if you excuse us, can you let us get back to our sleepover?" Apple Bloom stated.

      "Ok, but don't wake up Granny Smith. Why she'll come up there and stop this hootenanny you call a sleepover. She'll call it a tarnation!" Applejack said. Applejack yawned as she walked back to her room.

         "One day now, it's past midnight. Let's go to sleep." Sweetie Belle said.

         As they went to sleep, their dreams were very diverse. Sweetie Belle's dream was her overcoming her stage fright and getting her cutiemark, more like a vision into the future. She knew her special talent, she just needs to accomplish it.

       Apple Bloom dreamed of constructing a lavish castle for Princess Twilight Sparkle. Why it'd be better than the ugly one she has now. Again, she knew her talent, she just needs help realizing it.

      Scootaloo dreamed of a stunt show with her scooter. She dreamed of herself doing her tricks, and then once she fell off her scooter, she'd fly and do a triple rainboom. One only accomplished by her idol and adopted sister, Rainbow Dash.

         In the morning they all awoke and remembered their dreams. Dreams were a part of them. They always remember them. When they woke up they said "This is what I'm meant to do, what I'm meant to be, this is my destiny!" Then a flash appeared and it was all very blinding. An apple with a hammer and 4x4 frame appeared on Apple Bloom's flank. A heart with a music note in it for Sweetie Belle's. Then a Scooter with wings for Scootaloo. Then they closed their eyes and a great thing happened. They had summoned Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack, using their minds!

     "Whoah, Sugarcube, you got your cutiemark at the same time as your friends. That means you have a connection. Don't ever lose that friendship of yours." Applejack stated.

       "Why Sweetie Belle, you got your mark too! I feel so happy for you. I got an idea." Rarity exclaimed

      "Good job, kiddo! I always knew you could do it. Just believe in yourself and follow your dreams!" Rainbow Dash said. "What's your idea Rare?"

                  ~

       "A joint cutecinera! It'd be grand. We could even throw it at the castle if Twilight lets us!" Rarity said.

       "That's a good idea!" Applejack said.

         "Of course, I agree with that. Anything for my little sis!" Rainbow Dash said.

          "Then it's settled let's ask Twilight when we go down to the castle for  lunch!" Rarity said.

        The three elder ponies left, and look who came a day early. "Hey girls! My sis said it'd be easier to send me here a day earlier. Where's your cape?"

         "We don't necessarily wear capes anymore. You see  we've got.."

       "Come on, girls let's go JET PILOTING!" Babs said.

      "What?!" The girls said at the same time.

       "Nevermind."

      "Wait a sec, you're not interested in crusading anymore."

    "Not that much, our interest has waned ever since we've got our----------------------" Scootaloo said.

    Apple Bloom put her hoof over Scootaloo's mouth.

       "How can we even be friends?" Babs said. "Or family members. I know you're hiding something, so just tell me the truth."

       "We'll we've got our cutiemarks." The girls said.

        "I'm so happy, I thought you haven't yet. I have too! I totally pranked you. I know I'm sorry. I should have opened up, but I thought you guys hadn't got your cutiemarks either!"

      "Are you kidding?! That was the best prank ever!" Sweetie mentioned.

      "I have to agree!" Apple Bloom and Scootaloo said at the same time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

     At least things ended happily for the 4 crusaders and fillies. Look at my other works. This is my favorite I've worked on so far.
