My name is Stainless Steel. Today i went through my Daily routine. The orphanage was at the Poor part of town, The rich part was where all the Loyalists to the Empire lived. Walking these streets every day to do the same thing, They rarely fed us at the Orphanage so i had to steal some bits, and get some food. I look around the dirt streets at the shops built on the sidewalk. I went to go say Hi to a friend of mine, He specializes in an underground Crime ring. he sold guns that were stolen from the Empire. since i was a friend he let me get discounts, he cant give it to me for free, as he has a child and a wife of his own. I stopped by and asked him for some ammunition for a shotgun and some simple 9mm rounds. I always kept my 9mm tucked away in my shirt.
Whenever i was done there I went to steal some food. i went by ordinary fruit stands and snatched a few fruits. Its not hard stealing things, most people are too busy to notice.
Occasionally some rich folk would pass through to get to work or something like that. Rich folk always carry the most money. I knew mostly everyone in this part of town had a gun or some weapon of some sort, so i had to be Cautious. Nobody here looked out for eachother. We all just had one thing in common, we all hated the empire because of what its done to us. In the Distance i can hear quite a bit of ruckus. Its some punks brawling in the streets.
The brawl was causing quite a bit of ruckus, then i realized something. These punks Were not trying to hurt Each other. I saw some Guards come to Seperate the fight. When the guards arrived The 2 pulled out a pistol and opened fire on the guards. I watched in awe at the act that was going on. Ponies fled everywhere in panic, But a majority stayed. You could tell this was made out in a plan. They started to smash things and cause Havok. Of course i joined in, These men were rebels. i knew that if i could prove myself to them, then maybe they would let me join. Pretty soon the whole street was filled with angry citizens, causing chaos to the district.
A Large group of Guards in riot gear, holding shields, approached. They held up their sheilds, as bottles, cans, etc. were thrown at them. One citizen Lit a Molotov Cocktail and threw it at the Guards. It went over the Shield, and lit him on fire. i saw the man run around lit like a candle, Then finally give up, Fall Down, And die.
Gunfire started to erupt from the crowds, and with this reaction the Guards drew their weapons as well. For the past hour or so it was just people returning fire at eachother. I Ran to the orphanage to grab my shotgun from underneath the bed. i put in some shells, cocked it, then ran back to the Riots location. Immediately i ran to get some cover, As i hid behind the remains of a fruit stand, i occasionally peeped out and let out a shot here and there. The gunfire caused the guards to lose position and fall back. The riot was getting intense. Half the city was brawling with the guards by now. The Guards eventually Lost and got orders to evacuate the city before any more Guards lost their lives. I couldnt belive it. We just won back Ponyville. It was a democracy now. Anypony was free to do whatever they wanted. All was at bliss. These actions caused a rebellion to spark. The rebels went all around the city looking for recruits. I enlisted for the rebels. I was to go to bootcamp in 3 days
o Whenever Boot Camp was over i had to meet my new squad. I was assigned to the delta squad. When i met the leader my jaw dropped to the floor. Princess Twilight Sparkle? I was for sure all the princesses were dead. She greeted me. "hi there" She said. i Surveyed the room. "welcome to the squad private. I'm Twilight Sparkle. This is Pinkie pie, Applejack, and Rarity." I stood in amazement. "I thought all the princesses were dead!" i said in shock. "Thats what they wanted you to think. Princess Celestia and Luna are dead, Cadence and I live." She Started to pace the room. "And i also thought the elements Were gone!" "Well" she said stil pacing "Applejack, Rarity, and pinkie still live. Rainbow dash and Fluttershy are Imprisoned in a work camp. But enough about me, Whats your name? Why did you join the rebels?" She asked me. "well..." i said still in shock. "My parents were killed by the empire. Ever since then i wanted to get back at the empire for making me live a miserable life." She Continued to Pace the room. "Well Stainless, we have to let go of revenge. I too was upset when they killed Celestia, But if you continue to Hold onto revenge it will eat you alive".
"You were put here because of your particular skills. You growing up on the streets has caused some Abilities to be shown from you. Abilities Nopony else inhabits. not even me." "What do you mean?" I asked with a confused look. "I saw what you did in that riot. I observed your training. Nopony else may be able to see it, but i did. Your special Stainless. Why else do you think i ordered for you to be in my squad?" she asked. I did think it was kind of weird that The PRINCESS the leader of the rebels wanted ME in her squad.
"Our first mission is to Free Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash from the work camps. Briefing will be Tomorrow morning." She said, then ordered us to get some sleep. The next morning We woke up at 7:00 AM sharp.
We were greeted by a marker board with the layout of the camp in front of us. "Good morning. I trust everypony Got good sleep?" she asked surveying the room. "Todays mission will be completely stealth. Stainless will go in disguised as a prisoner. What we are going to do is Ambush a Batallion of Prisoner Transport trucks, Steal the uniforms, and drive into the camps. When RD and Fluttershy are Spotted you go behind the Prisoner Dorms. We have a guy on the inside who is hiding weapons for us. There will be a shovel next to the location where you dig. There you will find a few Assult Rifles, Pistols, and grenades. You take one, then Hand the others to Rainbow, Fluttershy, And other prisoners.
"we then need you to go cause Havoc. Among the chaos we will sneak in and help you fight. Any questions?" She asked. "Good. We walk to the Ambush sight in 1 hour. Get ready Ponies!" I didn't need any weapons or Armor at the time. They Forged me a fake prison uniform. I got into the outfit and we marched to the ambush zone.
I was only 6 Years old when they attacked. Nobody really knows where they came from. Some say they are changelings, Some say they are from a country Far away from Equestria, somewhere unlocated. Hell, theres even some rumors that they are Aliens. They took over us by complete surprise. Everypony was enjoying themselves, when the announcement came. "Citizens of Equestria" they said over the loud speakers. "Your princesses are Dead. Wait for an inspection officer to come to you. Violators trying to escape will be shot on sight." They went around looking for anypony with a difference, any Unicorns or Pegasi, and rallied them up. They would force them to line up on a wall and then...Just shoot them.
My mother was a unicorn and my father was a pegasus. They made the mistake of trying to get me away safely. They were gunned down right in front of me. They took me to the general. "Let him live" He said. "Little brat is too young to be able to do any damage. We gotta do something about that Horn though..." he ordered his men to hold me down. He put a hoof up to my horn and pushed down on it with all of his force. The horn broke off of my head, i lay crying. "Get him out of here." They then threw me out on the streets. When The Invasion was over, i was sent to a community Orphanage. The Caretakers were extremely neglectful. We were forced to do chores all day. I vowed my revenge against King Iron Fist ever since. Now these are the final days. The ponies are getting fed up with Iron fist and an uprising is growing. But what will happen to us when this is all over? and what will be left of equestria?
