I'm not entirely done with his backstory, I know I left a few holes in it, so don't worry it's coming.

Big Brother
The entire group stared at Luna in silence, until the boy looked at Celestia like his normal happy self, "You were saying? Haha." He lightly held Luna's hoof, making her sigh in her sleep.
"Uhm," Celestia turned to Galaxia and she just nodded warmly. "Right. Well, I thought about it, and how do you like 'Lyric'?" She asked cautiously.
"Lyric... Lyrrrric. Lyric, Lyric, Lyric." He said it over and over, rolling it off his tongue. "Perfection, you're highness." He gave a mock bow and chuckled.
Celestia giggled at his antics and looked to her parents. They smiled to her and said, "You're wonderful with names Celestia. How'd you think up that one?" Her mother asked, winking.
Tapping her hooves together, the white filly remembered his actions and the way he had been since they met. He's such a wonderful boy... so kind, truthful, generous, loyal to his only family, quite entertaining, and a mind far passed a forest dweller.
"He's everything..." She whispered to her parents between her hooves as she tried to hide half her face in embarrassment.
They laughed at their young child and glanced at the boy. He seemed to have sprung out of no where and captured their hearts.
"Lyric?" Eternia asked.
The boy looked at his phoenix Philomena drifting in the clouds and then turned to them, "Oh! Right, that's me now, hahaha." He put his hands behind his head and answered, "Yes, you're majesty?"
"We're oceans passed formalities, Lyric. Call me Eternia." Lyric nodded and waited for him to continue. "I was curious about your family, your kind, tribe, maybe village?"
Sighing out of having to tell them this, he fell back onto the grass the blanket was on and spread out. "I don't have one. Other than Philomena of course."
"B-but you're only near twelve! You must have come from somewhere?" He prodded.
"Well, like I said before, my mom raised me, but I could never understand what she was saying. She always used to tell me things I couldn't understand and try to teach me it. I could never get it, so one day my mom just disappeared. I would always let animals loose she tried to eat and try my best to help them, but mom would always kill them if they were still close enough to the house. I guess she got tired of me."
"You speak our language just fine, why could you learn ours?"
"I'm not sure, it was just easier. It was like I already knew a little and I just needed teachers. When I was nine, a zebra tribe had found me on the edge of the jungle and took me in. They were nice and helped teach me how to talk, but I felt as if I was freeloading and I left."
They sat there stunned. This child is truly alone? When they first set eyes on him they were curious of his species, there was so much they could learn! What even WAS he? They knew creatures were still coming from the Everfree Jungle, but they'd never, seen anything like him.
"So your family is..?"
"I don't know. Probably gone or just, far away." He waved at the clouds.
"Celestia?" Galaxia asked.
"Yes mother?" She stared at her looking scared.
Breathing in deeply and bumping Eternia to whisper something in his ear, the queen kissed her husbands cheek from his response.
"I think we should ask Lyric first dear, haha." The king put a wing over his queens back and smiled to the boy, "Lyric, would you like to come live with us?"
Mouth agape and eyes wide, Lyric slowly nodded then paused. "Can Philomena have a place to fly and hunt?"
"Are you kidding, my boy? I'll have a nest personally made for her. An amazing creature you have with you."
"Then I'm in- Ah!"
"I have a brother!" Celestia tackled Lyric and hugged him tightly while he was still trying to sit up.
"Help... Strawberry maned princess crushing me." He said while the happy filly giggled.
"We have a brother?!" Luna screamed, looking at Lyric confused as she rubbed her eyes. She slowly put it together and a smile formed, "No way!" Running up to his head, she looked over his eyes upside down, "You're really coming to the castle with us?"
"You got it." He told her.
Galloping to her mother she hugged her leg, "Thank you , thank you, thank you!" Fluttering her wings and dive bombing the two, Luna hugged Lyric as hard as she could.
"Double help... Lunar princess crushing neck." He wheezed.
Laughing heartily, the elders shared a loving gaze and picked the trio up in their magic and separated them, placing them facing the castles trail to the gardens entrance.
"Celestia, Luna. I trust you can lead your new brother to the castle?"
"Of course we can!" Celestia exclaimed excitedly
Grabbing Lyrics hand, Celestia began galloping down the meadow and let go after he started running while picking Luna up and placing her on his shoulders.
"Hahaha, yeah! Faster, faster!" She giggled, the wind blowing through her mane as they vanished down the trail.
"We did just do that, didn't we?" Eternia asked in astonishment.
Nuzzling her husband's muzzle, Galaxia lit up her horn and made the picnic begin putting itself away and bottled the drinks, wrapping the blanket around the basket, she placed it on her back.
"Lets go, love. I can't imagine what those two are going to be getting into with the new addition to the family."
Gasping and screaming, "I LEFT THE FIREWORKS FLARES IN THE COURTYARD!" The king steadied his wings and gave a thunderous clap as he flew through the wind.
"...I left the children's playhouse unlocked." She sighed and slowly trotted her way back to her home. "The damage is done."
Hearing small explosions followed by larger ones, the queen chuckled to herself as Eternia shot from the castle high in the air covered in black soot and a trail of smoke.
"I didn't make iiiiiiiiiiiit!" The king screamed as he landed with a plume of smoke.
