"Celestia! Celestia!" called Ruby as she ran up the stairs to Celestia's bedroom. She ran into Celestia's bedroom and told her all about those flower's and mysterious seed's. "Sounds like you found something that is your own." Said Celestia "now I have something to tell you ruby, your best friend, snowflare is moving out of here." Ruby had this expression on her face that look like she was very sad and was about to cry. "Will he comeback?" asked ruby. "Sometimes yes, but he wont live here anymore." Celestia said "I will tell Luna for you so you can say your good bye's to snowflare." "Thank you Celestia" said Ruby. She goes downstairs to snowflare's room to say good bye. She walk's in "Hello Snowflare." Say's Ruby. "Oh hello Ruby." snowflare says with a smile. "I heard you were moving away" said Ruby. "Yeah I am" says snowflare. *Ruby gets a flash back of when snowflare first moved in* *snow flare snaps her back to reality* "Ruby?!" says Snowflare. "huh?!" says Ruby, startled "you were day dreaming" said Snowflare "oh" says Ruby "well anyways..." *Ruby hugs Snowflare* *ruby cries while hugging Snowflare* "Im going to my room now, good bye snowflare!" she run's out of the room because she doesn't want Snowflare to see her crying. She runs up stair's to find Luna in front of her room. "Hello Ruby!" Say's Luna "I am here to congratulate you on you're new power that you have gotten on making your own kind of flower and seed's and I see you have earned your cutie mark too!" *Ruby looks at her flank to find a cutie mark with a stem and gem where the top of the flower should be* Ruby was happy that she got her cutie mark but she didn't freak out about it. "Thank you, Luna" said Ruby "Ok then whenever you need me ill be in my room." Luna said as she walked off. Ruby then opened her room door and saw Luna rising the moon through her window. She liked Luna the most for some reason. She then got into bed and shut the light off and dozed off.

*Ruby knocks on Snow's door* "Snow do you wanna play with me?" Asked Ruby *Snowflare open's the door and walk's right past Ruby to try and ignore her* "Please?" Asked ruby as she caught up to Snowflare "Please please please???" Begged Ruby. "..... Fine" Said Snowflare. *They were playing for 2 hours* "Wow....that was actually fun" Said Snowflare "see?" said Ruby "Playing is something fun you do to pass the time." "Wow." said Snowflare "I didn't know it could pass this much time." "Well that was fun we sould do this again some time!" said Ruby. "Yeah, we should" He said before both of them began walking to their rooms. *Snowflare snaps her back to reality*

Ruby Shrub (filly, alicorn) was raised by Celestia and Luna because her mom died at Ruby's birth. For an alicorn, Ruby had learned all the spells in unicorn and alicorn history, but her magic was strange, almost like...it could do something more than what it can already do. "Ruby" Celestia called "why don't you go and make some friends? It might be nice to have some friends to play with!" "Umm..." said Ruby "I think i'm going to go tend to the garden..." "Alright" replied Celestia "I left some seed's out there for you to plant!" "Thanks" said Ruby, as she walked off to go to the garden. Ruby found the entrance to the garden and walked in. She found a trowel next to some packed seeds. She turned around to the garden to decide where she was going to plant these seeds. Ruby's horn was glowing but she didn't realize it, then her horn stop glowing and a pack of seeds appeared. she turned around, not noticing the new pack of seeds. she levitated the trowel and began to dig. She opened the pack of seeds and planted them all. "Oh my!" Ruby said "I almost forgot the water!" she said, running to the shed to fetch the watering can. At least all of those mysterious seed's sprouted faster than the others. By the time Ruby got back ,as said before, the mysterious seed's were already sprouting. Ruby thought this was strange, but she thought those seeds grew faster in that soil. As soon as she was done watering and had put the can down, she had noticed that her horn was glowing. "That's strange im not doing any-" Ruby then looked over at the table after she had heard a 'poof!' she had seen those very seeds that she had planted and are growing faster than the others. but something urged her to look over at the spot she had planted the seeds. She see's that those mysterious seeds have grown already and she see's a crystal in the middle. Ruby has studied farming and plants she has never seen those flowers or seeds before. "That can only mean..." Ruby gasp's and runs inside to tell Luna and Celestia about her new talent

Ruby woke up the next morning to find that Snowflare and princess Celestia were already gone. "She must have escorted him" Ruby said to herself. She will always miss that kind hearted Pegasus who used to do every thing he could for her. She decided to pick the crystal flowers and give them away, as she had no use for them. "I could always just grow more" she thought "they only take a few seconds anyways." When Ruby started giving them away, every pony seemed to like them. After she gave them away for a few day's she started to see them in pot's in pony's window's or ponies wearing them in their hair. Ruby was happy that every pony seemed to like them, but that wasn't enough to cheer her up from her best friends move away. Ruby sighed "I guess only time will fix this." But then she noticed something strange about the flowers the crystals started to turn black instead of their usual colors Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Pink. But it wasn't only the strange color change.. she had sensed a evil aura in the flowers but then from a certain flower, a dark pony with a horn and misty eyes came out. "Oh No!" Shouted Ruby as she had just seen king sombra come out from her flowers. His horn glowed and he now had control of all of ruby's crystal flowers. Before he could get her, she ran as fast as she could into the castle to inform Luna and Celestia about what exactly just happened.
