Chapters A rainbow streak soared across the sky. Rainbow Dash was obviously in a hurry today. She landed on the ground in a huff, and quickly oriented herself to the town.
"I have to get to Twilight!" she said excitedly.
Rainbow Dash walked briskly towards the library. She wanted to tell Twilight the good news. She just had to tell her now. She began galloping as the library came into view and quickly made her way inside. Once in the main room she almost instantly spotted the mare of her life gently floating in the air and placing a book on the self.
"Twilight, you'll never believe what happened today!" Rainbow Dash said excitedly.
"Oh? What happened?" Twilight asked as she landed on the ground and moved towards Dash.
"I got a promotion today!" Dash said as she jumped into the air and did a loop before landing again in front of Twilight.
Twilight's eyes lit up upon hearing the news, "Oh that's great Rainbow!" She rushed forward and hugged Dash tightly.
"Yeah I know right? I'm now in charge of the entire weather team for Ponyville! Oh this is s awesome!" Dash exclaimed as she hoof pumped the air with both front hooves.
Twilight giggled at seeing her marefriend this excited. She had only seen this once before, and that was when Rainbow got her present at her last birthday from Twilight. Which just happened to be a private show from the Wonderbolts for the two of them. Twilight was brought back to the present by Rainbow kissing her lightly on the lips.
"So," Rainbow said as she pulled away, "wanna go get some lunch?"
"So what's it like?" Rainbow Dash asked as she gently brushed Twilight's wing feathers with her hoof, causing them to spread.
"What's what like?" Twilight asked.
"Having wings." Dash answered.
Twilight readjusted herself in bed to face Rainbow, "You of all ponies should know the answer to that." she said with a smirk.
"Well yeah, but I was born with'em. I don't remember what it was like to..." Rainbow tapped her hoof against her chin, while she thought of a good word to use, "discover, my wings."
"Well it's a lot like this." Twilight said as she gently placed her lips on Dash's.
Both mares closed their eyes, and began to push their heads together harder deepening the kiss. Twilight parted her lips and soon felt Dash's tongue begin to slowly play with her own. The feeling in side of her was like nothing she had ever felt before. The butterflies in her stomach felt like their wing span had increased a hundred fold, and their constant wing beats threatened to make her heart rate go out of control. She just couldn't get enough of it.
As the kiss slowly broke Twilight managed to crack open her eyes in time to see Rainbow's face frozen in a state of euphoria. Twilight giggled slightly and gave Dash a peck on the cheek, before drawing her into a tight hug and sighing contentedly.
"That felt awesome." Dash whispered.
"Every moment with you is awesome." Twilight whispered back.
Twilight waited in the kitchen. A flash of lightening outside made her jump slightly as the monsterous thunder clashed. The storm outside was huge. Lightening streaked across the sky in such ways that Twilight had began to fear the worst for her marefriend.
She knew Dash was strong. Stronger than most ponies any way, but not even Rainbow could withstand lightening strikes like this. Thunder sounded through the air once more and Twilight shivered.
'The storm is complete. Why isn't she here yet?' Twilight thought to herself.
Spike walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table, "Are you worried about Rainbow Dash, Twilight?" he asked in a caring tone.
"Wha?" Twilight shook those thoughts from her head, "Of course not. Dash is perfectly fine. What makes you think that I was worrying?"
"Well, according to today's schedule you should've started researching the orgins of sprites about an hour ago." Spike said matter of factly.
"Okay, so I'm a little worried," Twilight conceded, "but look at that out there." she said as she motioned towards the window.
"Twilight, I'm not saying that you shouldn't be worried. I'm saying that you shouldn't worry too much. That's all." Spike said as he took her hoof in his claw. "She'll be just fine."
Suddenly the front door opened and in staggered a dark figure. It stood in the foyer for a few seconds before walking into the kitchen.
"Hi Rainbow Dash." Spike greeted.
"Heya Spike." Dash walked over to Twilight and kissed her cheek, "Hi to you too."
Twilight moved her hoof to the moist spot on her cheek were her rain soaked partner had pecked her. A small smile replaced the frown she had been wearing for the past hour, and she giggled at the warmth that was building up inside her.
Rainbow Dash sat down at the table, and soon felt something soft brushing against her cheek. She looked over to see Twilight's wing caressing her. Twilight saw the puzzled look on Rainbow's face and replied by simply wiggling her eyebrows, getting up, and walking towards the stairs. Rainbow Dash's wings shot from her body as she stood up and followed Twilight.
"I have no idea what's goin' on, and I'm not gonna fight it!" Dash said excitedly.
"Hey come on! At least let me move my bed first!" Spike shouted as he chased after the two mares.
Rainbow Dash's wings were frozen open as she stared in amazement at the thing that Twilight wanted to show her.
Earlier that day...
"Dash you'll never guess what kind of spell I learned!" Twilight said excitedly as she ran into Sugarcube Corner.
"Will it help with the thing we talked about yesterday?" Dash asked quietly with a red tint on her cheeks.
"Well... no," Twilight said as she watched Rainbow frown down at the ground, "but it's still something amazing."
Dash looked up and smiled, "I bet it will be." Dash said as a little of her cockiness returned.
Twilight blushed and motioned for Dash to follow her.
"I wanna see it too!" Pinkie said excitedly from the kitchen. She almost materialized in front of the two mares and hugged them. "Please Twilight, can I come too?" Pinkie asked with a giant smile.
"I'm sorry Pinkie but this is for me and Dash only," Twilight noticed the impact of what she said instantly, "but tell you what. Come by tomorrow and I'll have something extra special for you too." she said warmly.
Pinkie brightened up, "Okay see you tomorrow then!"
Twilight and Rainbow Dash walked down the street to the library. As they approached the door Twilight decided to apologize to Rainbow Dash.
"Hey Dash," Rainbow looked her in the eyes, "I'm sorry for being so distant this week." she said quietly.
"It's okay Twilight, I know that when you're studying something I won't see much of you."
"And that's unfair to you." Twilight added.
Dash leaned in and kissed Twilight, "A little, but that's who you are. When you start studying something you don't stop. Just like how when I think of a new trick I don't stop until I can do it."
Twilight opened the door and excorted Dash to the stairwell to the basement.
"Why are we going down there?" Dash asked.
"This spell is for you and you alone. I've spent a few days getting everything set up and now that it's ready, I don't want anypony else to see it." Twilight said with a wink.
Dash shrugged and walked down the stairs into the darkness. Soon path ahead was lit up by Twilight's horn. As they reached the bottem Twilight began speaking.
"As you know last week I was star gazing in an atempt to discover new planets and stars."
"Yeah and?" Dash asked as she looked around at all the egghead writing on all the dimly lit blackboards.
"And so eventually I did, and as luck would have it it's pretty close to our solar system." Twilight said with a smile.
"Okay? That's great and all but..."
"After finding it, I started searching for spells that would allow me to create a stable portal so I could see it." Twilight continued unfazed.
Dash just sat down and sighed, 'Great another lecture I don't need, and this time I didn't even do anything wrong!'
"That took me a whole week, but I finally did it. As I looked out onto this new system I could help but notice something special about the star and two planets of it."
"And what would that be professor?" Dash asked.
Twilight's horn glowed brighter and brighter. A swirling vortex of magic began spinning in front of the two mares and soon it began to fluxuate rapidly. Suddenly there was a flash of purple light that caused Dash to shield her eyes. When she brought her hoof down from her eyes she became frozen in amazement.
Now...
"Wow." Dash whispered.
"I know right? There is no other star in the known universe that does it." Twilight whispered.
The two mares stared out into the vacuum of space at a star that flashed through every color of the rainbow every second.
"I named the system RD-103. Notice the planets?"
Dash glanced at the planets and saw that one was purple, and the other was magenta and darker purple.
"I named them TS1 and TS2."
"This... this is AMAZING!" Dash exclaimed.
"I came up with the names because... well... you're the star of my solar system." Twilight said as she kissed Dash's cheek.
Twilight looked up from the book on her desk and out the window, and saw that the moon was high in the sky. The stars were twinkling peacefully in the night sky as the door to her observatory opened. Rainbow Dash walked in slowly with a smile stretched across her face.
"So Twilight, do you want to call it for tonight? I hear the movie theater is playing a good scary movie." Rainbow said as she approached.
Twilight glanced over her shoulder and smiled, "No thanks Dash. I need to figure out how to stabilize the magical flow of this new spell I'm learning."
"Oh come on Twilight, please?" Rainbow asked with puppy dog eyes.
"Oh no, that won't work this time." Twilight said as she turned back to the book on the desk.
Rainbow's eyes immediately returned to normal, "I thought you'd say something like that, but luckily," Dash flashed an evil smile, "I came prepared!" Dash said as she mightily flapped her wings.
The airflow was enough to extiguish Twilight's candle and the entire room was plunged into darkness.
"Rainbow Dash! That wasn't funny!" Twilight said as her horn lit up a few seconds later.
She turned around to see Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Fluttershy with green glowing eyes, and what appeared to be slighttly decaying skin.
"G...girls? Are you guys o...okay?" Twilight asked as fear began to surge through her veins.
Her only answer was Rainbow Dash landing in front of them. They stepped over to be at her side and Dash raised her head.
"It's close to midnight, and something evil's lurking in the dark. Under the moonlight you'll see a sight that'll almost stop your heart." Dash sang as she pointed out the window.
Twilight looked outside and saw a hooded figure with red eyes slowly moving towards the library. She looked back at the girls and came muzzle to muzzle with Dash.
"You try to scream, but terror takes the sound before you make it."
"Dash whatever this is..." suddenly a hoof had appeared in front of Twiliht's mouth.
"You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes, you paralized," Dash started taking aggressive steps towards Twilight, causing her to back pedal, "cause this is thiller, thiller night! Ain't nopony gonna save ya from the beast about to strike." Dash started backing up and rose up until she was standing on her back hooves, "Ya know it's thiller, thiller night!" she pointed at Twilight, "You're fighting for your life inside a... killer, thiller tonight!"
Dash lowered back down onto all four hooves and began prancing back behind the other girls. Until suddenly she popped up in between Rarity and Applejack, "You hear the door slam," Twilight flinched as the front door of the library slammed shut, "and realize there's no where let to run."
"Dash this seriously isn't funny." Twilight said with her eyes wide.
"You feel a cold hoof, and wonder if you'll ever see the sun." Dash said as she lovingly caressed Twilight's cheek, "You close your eyes, and hope that this is just imagination."
Twilight closed her eyes and openned them to see everypony was gone. Twilight sighed and closed her eyes again.
"But all the while," a voice said into her ear, "you hear a creature sneaking up behind! You're out of time!"
Twilight's eyes flew open again and she saw that she was surrounded by her grizzly friends and that Dash was standing next to her.
"Cause this is thiller, thiller night! There ain't no second chance against a thing with forty eyes Twi!"
"Thiller, thiller night!" the other girls chorused.
"You're fighting for your life inside a..." Rainbow left off.
"Killer, thiller tonight!" the others finished for her.
"Night creature's called in the depths to walk in their mascurade!" Rainbow Dash said in a serious tone.
Twilight sunk to the floor and covered her eyes, "Well send them back!"
"There's no escaping the jaws of the alien this time," Dash started.
"Alien?" Twilight questioned with an arched eye brow as she uncovered her face.
"This is the end of the line." Dash sang as she flew up into the air.
Twilight's other friend's wore sinister smiles and they started walking towards her slowly.
Dash landed next to Twilight again and wrapped her protectively with her wing. "They're out to get you, there's demons closing in on every side. They will pocess you, unless you change that number on your dial. Now is the time, for you and I to cuddle close together." Dash nuzzled Twilight, whose fears disappated as soon as she felt the warmth of her marefriend against her cheek, "All though the night, I'll save you from the terror on the screen. I'll make you see! That this is thiller! Thiller night! Cause I can feel you more than any ghost were to dare try!"
"Thiller! Thiller night!" the girls chorused.
"So let me hold ya tight and share a..." Rainbow started once again.
"Killer thriller, killer thriller here tonight!" the others finished.
"Cause this is thriller! Thiller night! Cause I can feel you more than any ghost were to dare try!"
"Thiller! Thiller night!"
"So let me hold ya tight and share a..."
"Killer, thiller..."
The girls stopped singing as the doorknob behind them began to rattle. They stepped back while keeping their evil grins and not breaking eye contact with Twilight. Suddenly the door opened and a cloaked figure with red eyes walked into the room, and somewhere in the Everfree Forest a timber wolf howled. The figure stopped in front of Twilight and Rainbow and began speaking in an eerie voice.
"Darkness falls across the land. The midnight hour is close at hand. Creatures crawl in search of blood, to terrorize your neighborhood. And whosoever shall be found, without the soul for getting down, must stand and face the hounds of hell, and rot inside a corsey shell. The foulest stentch is in the air, the funk of forty thousand years. Grizzly ghouls from every tomb, are closing in to seal your doom. And though you fight to stay alive, you're body starts to shiver. For no mere mortal can resist, the evil of the thiller!" the hooded figure began to cackle maddly.
Twilight released a magic spell an relit the candle.
"Wait a minute. Zecora, is that you?" Twilight asked.
Zecora unhooded herself and smiled.
"So wait, what was all of this then?" Twilight asked as she turned towards Dash.
"We all want you to come see the movie with us." Dash said with a smile and a peck to the lips.
"Fluttershy wants to see a horror movie?" Twilight asked increduliously as she looked to the mare in question.
"Well... um... you see Twilight, Rainbow Dash and I go see a movie once a month together, and this time it was her turn to pick the movie." Fluttershy said with a slight blush.
"Okay, but where's Pinkie Pie?" Twilight asked while looking around the room.
The closet door opened and Pinkie fell out from inside of it along with an entire stock of musical instraments, "Music doesn't just come from no where silly!" Pinkie said as she sprung up from the pile of music making tools.
"Well Twi? Will you join us?" Rainbow asked with a warm smile.
"But why are you guys wearing those costumes?" Twilight asked.
"It's costume night at the theater, dear! Anypony wearing a costume gets in for free!" Rarity explained.
Twilight looked around at all of her friends smiles and caved in, "Okay I'll go."
Her friends all cheered and walked outside while Twilight and Rainbow Dash got ready for their night out at the movies.
'You think you're good enough to join us?' Soarin asked as he doubled over in laughter.
Spitfire began giggling madly and snorting before she too fell over in uproarious laughter. She held her sides with her front hooves as more and more explosions of breath left her lungs. 'Are... are you serious!?' she exclaimed.
Rainbow Dash just stood there staring at the cloud she was standing on. A tear began to form in her eye and a sob formed in her throat. 'I... I thought...' she managed to get out before being interrupted by even more laughter.
'You thought!' her idols shouted together, 'You thought you were as good as us?!' they howled.
Spitfore stood first, 'What makes you think we'd let somepony as unawesome as you join us?' she asked.
'I just...'
'Yeah i mean you're fast and all but...' Soarin started, 'we couldn't let a pony with your , condition, join us. he punctuated the word condition with his hooves.
'What do you mean? ' Dash asked.
Spitfire stepped closer to her, 'You're a fillyfooler Rainbow Dash. We can't have that on our team. I mean it would just look bad on us.' she said in a teasing voice.
Rainbow's eyes openned slowly and she could tell that she had been crying in her sleep. Something soft touched her cheek and wiped away a tear.
"What's wrong Rainbow?" a soothing yet sleepy voice asked quitely from Dash's left side.
"N...nothing. Nothing at all." she reponded quietly.
"Was it that dream again?" Twilight asked.
Dssh mumbled something and turned away from her marefriend.
"Rainbow, you know that wouldn't happen." Twilight said reassuringly.
"But what if..."
"Rainbow. It won't happen. Trust me." Twilight said with a giggle.
A tingly sensation began to envelop Dash, and before she knew it she was levitated off the bed, rolled in midair, and placed back down on the bed. She could see the mare she loved laying just a few inches away from her muzzle, and she staring at her with sleepy eyes and a gentle smile.
Twilight closed the gap and placed a gentle kiss on Dash's nose. As she pulled away Dash's wing unfolded from her side and gently wraped around Twilight's waist. Then the powerful wing pulled Twilight closer to its source and she was met with a kiss on her lips. Twilight would never get tired of nights like this one. As soon as Twilight began to return the kiss she felt something wet poke her lips, so she parted them.
Dash set to work exploring Twilight's mouth almost immediately. Twiloght's flavor was just to intoxicating for her not to do so. When the two mares parted Dash could see the love in Twilight's eyes. Any fear or self-doubt she had was now gone and Dash smiled.
"I love you Twilight." Dash whispered into her ear.
"I love you too Rainbow." she whispered back.
From the basket beside the bed, "Great! Everypony loves everypony!" then the voice mumbled, "I'm gonna start sleeping in the library."

Nighttime Fun
Twilight worked her tongue harder and harder. She could tell that Rainbow Dash was ready to blow any moment now. Her clitoris was as hard as a rock, her breathing was erratic, and she had moved her hooves to the back of Twilight's head.
Suddenly Dash's hips thrust towards the ceiling and her back arched as hot juices exploded from her marehood into Twilight's mouth. Twilight eagerly swallowed Dash's ejaculation, and began to clean up around Dash's entrance and bed with her tongue.
Rainbow's breathing started to slow down and her blush had begun to fade as the last wave of euphoria washed over her body. Sweat glistened on her body in the moonlight that streamed through the window. She laid still for a few moments before her vision was engulfed in purple.
Twilight quickly closed the remaining space between her and Rainbow's mouths, and locked lips with her lover in one smooth motion. The two mares began moaning quietly into each other after a few seconds of this intimate act.
Suddenly Twilight felt herself being rolled over and opened her eyes to see that Dash was now on top with her wings spread in all their glory. Dash began to place gentle kisses on Twilight's chin, then her chest, her stomach, all the way down to her throbbing clit. Dash licked it teasingly before suckling it with gusto.
She began slowly lapping at Twilight's pink rose bud once more. After a few minutes Twilight could feel the pressure building. Her climax threw her into a fit of bucks and wild spasms as wave after wave of pleasure shot through her. Soon her and Rainbow were both lying on their backs and panting up at the ceiling.
Both mares' eyes went wide as their pupils shrank to the size of pin pricks as they heard, "Um... guys? I want my own room." came a quiet voice from the side of Twilight's bed.
A light flicked on and the first thing that Twilight noticed was that Rainbow Dash wasn't happy. In fact she looked rather angry for some reason.
"Why'd you do it Twilight?" Dash asked more out of disappointment than anything else.
"Do what?" Twilight asked.
"You know what you did!" Rainbow bellowed.
Twilight was completely confused. What had she done to make Rainbow Dash so angry. She didn't have any clue whatsoever. Twilight began to wrack her brain, trying to figure this out.
"Why Twilight? Why?"
Twilight tried harder to figure it out, but she kept drawing blanks.
"Maybe this'll help you." Dash said accusingly.
She reached into her saddlebags and produced an empty bottle, that she sat down on the table in front of Twilight. Twilight eyed the bottle suspiciosly for a moment before it clicked.
'That's what she's so upset about?' Twilight thought to herself.
"Look Dash, it's just..."
Dash instantly closed the distance between her and Twilight, and even though Twilight was taller than her, she managed to get eye to eye with Twilight.
"It was mine!" she seethed through gritted teeth.
"But..." Twilight started to say as she began to cower backwards.
"BUT!" Dash shouted before giving Twilight a peck on the lips, "I forgive you." Dash smiled and began to leave an even more confused than before Twilight to her studies, "Seriously though, next time don't drink all my cider. Okay?" she added as she exited the room.
Rainbow Dash looked around her surroundings. Carousel Boutique wasn't a place that you'd expect to see Rainbow Dash, but yet here she was. She eyed the dresses, the bed sets, and the other various articles her friend Rarity was locally famed for.
"Twilight why are we here?" Rainbow asked.
"Rarity said that the plates she ordered came in yesterday, and that we could have a set. Isn't that nice of her?" Twilight said as she inspected a nearby dress.
"I guess so." Rainbow Dash sighed.
Soon Rarity entered the room followed by two floating plates. Rainbow hated to admit it, but the plates were nice to look at. Even though they were white.
Twilightstepped up to Rarity and grabbed the plates from her. Rarity smiled back at her friend and went back into the room she had came from.
"Which color do you like better Rainbow?" Twilight asked with a smile.
"They both look exactly the same to me." Rainbow Dash said as she eyed the plates that were levitating in front of her.
"Oh no dear. You see one's white and the other is egg shell." Rarity explained as she reentered the room with more of the decorative plates she had ordered.
"But, they're the same color." Rainbow protested.
"One is bold, while the other portrays innocence." Rarity explained.
"But... they're both the same color." Rainbow Dash reiterated.
Twilight set the plates down on the table, and walked over to Dash.
"It's okay if you can't tell the difference. I mean they are just plates after all." Twilight almost whispered.
Rainbow shuffled on her hooves awkwardly for a moment before smiling and saying, "Thanks Twilight."
"Perhaps you two would like bubble gum or pink?" Rarity asked as she lifted two plates.
"But... they're the same color!"
