I am Alliance Pilot Parker Deros, serving onboard the SSV Normandy SR2 under the command of Commander John Shepard. I co-pilot a UT-47A Kodiak drop shuttle alongside Alliance Pilot Steve Cortez. I enlisted in 2185, and have been serving in the fleet ever since. I started off as a foot soldier, when I received my Sentinel status. After advancing through the ranks and proving myself more valuable than a gunman, I was given the chance to serve in a fighter squadron. I immediately accepted, flying alongside Steve Cortez. After about twelve missions, Cortez told me he had gotten an offer to be an Kodiak drop shuttle pilot. When I had volunteered as his co-pilot, the Reapers hit earth nearly two weeks later. We both served onboard the SSV Normandy SR2 in a fight against the reapers, along with finishing the Crucible.

This all changed when we passed through a Mass Relay to Tuchanka, the Krogan home world. I was busy in the shuttle bay, running a few diagnostics on our shuttle. I could feel the initial effects of the Relay, but it was different this time. I felt weightless, and my body was surrounded in a strange purple aura. I tried calling for help, but no one came. The next thing I knew I had blacked out.

When I awoke, I was no longer in the shuttle bay, hell, I didn't think I was still even in the right galaxy. It was different. I was laying in a grassy field, the sky above a soft blue as almost comically puffy clouds drifted by. When I went to sit up, the rest of my entire existence changed. My hands had turned into hooves, blue ones in fact and my face was stretched into a muzzle of the same color. My once brown hair had turned a vivid yellow, with darker highlights running throughout. My initial reaction was to scream, and boy, did I. I shrieked at myself, the being I had become. My human life.

Gone.

After about a month, I was slowly beginning to accept life as it was. I was in a world surrounded by technicolor, marshmallow like, ponies. There were three types, as far as I could tell. There were pegasi, ponies who were born with wings and gifted with flight. Along with them were unicorns, ponies blessed with intense power and magic. But there were also earth born ponies, like the one I became. We were earth dwellers, no magic, no wings, nothing but a hardworking attitude and a courage unmatched.

And that was when my story begins.
