The New Life Of Princess Luna Right After Banishment
Luna looked up at the stars as she walked. Her stars. Her creations shinning in the night sky burning far, far away. They would be like that for millions of years until they could not burn anymore. Many of them would then explode and never be seen again. Others would turn in to black holes and destroy planets and other stars. Her creations were wonderful and deadly.
Just like herself. Chills went down her spine at the memory of what she once was. A villain with a lust for blood. For her sister's blood. To think that she only returned from the moon a few days ago. That only a few days ago she was that villain. That terrible pony that wanted to kill her sister and put Equestria in an eternal night.
How had Celestia felt sorry for banishing for her to the moon? She had deserved it. She should have been re banished to the moon for what she did. It was inexcusable. She should have controlled her jealousy. she should have controlled her emotions but instead she let them run wild.
Luna had been so lost in her thoughts she didn't notice the pony she was about to walk into. Lucky for her he saw that she wasn't paying attention and quickly dodged her a few seconds before impact. But he didn't notice the rock in front of his hoof and ended up falling on her.
"Hey!" She yelled right after she had fallen to the ground suddenly. Fire Streak quickly flew off of her and helped her off the ground.
"My apologies, Princess Luna." Luna was quite shocked by him saying princess. It had been a very long time since anyone had called her princess. She stood there for a moment lost in her thoughts again.
"Are you okay, Princess Luna?" He asked worriedly. Luna snapped out of her thoughts.
"Oh yes. Just thinking about...the past." She then waved a hoof dismissively. "But let's not ponder on such things." She then trotted off and continued her night time walk. Fire Streak simply shrugged and continued to head home from training.
Luna had gone to sleep around 12:00 am that night and woke up to a loud banging noise. She put a pillow over her head and yelled,"Five more minutes!" The knocking only got louder. Luna mumbled a un-princess like curse and slowly got out of her bed. She then trotted over to the door and opened it with her telekinetic powers. She her cream coated assistant standing in her doorway.
"Yes Sage?"
"Ma'am you're late for your meeting with the astronomy group!" She yelled frantically. Luna raised an eyebrow.
"My what?" She thought about this for a moment.
"I have a meeting..." Her eyes then widened. She had forgotten that she had scheduled a meeting with them today. They wanted to know what the surface of the moon was like and things like that. She pushed Sage out of the way and galloped out of her room.
"Sorry Sage!" She yelled right before she teleported away. Sage groaned as she got to her hooves.
"Why did I apply for this job?" She muttered as she trotted off to sort Luna's paperwork.
Luna ended up right in front of the Astronmy group's building. Fire Streak had been walking by. She ended up teleporting right on top of him.
"It appears we meet again Princess Luna." He said with a smile. Luna jumped off of him and brushed some dust off of her coat.
"It seems we have." She replied. The stood there for a moment not knowing what to do. She one of them walk off or would that be rude? Luckily the leader of the Astronomy group came outside and spotted Princess Luna. When Luna saw him walking over to them she sighed with relief.
"Princess Luna! I'm so glad you could make it!" He yelled as he closed the gap in between them. Fire Streak saw this as an escaoe and quickly trotted off towards the Wonderbolt's academy. The stallion escorted Luna to the meeting room while rambling on about how many things they would learn today.
Luna opened the door to her bedroom and threw herself onto her bed. The discussion had gone on for four hours. Four boring hours of talking about the moon. How did they manage to ramble on about the moon for four hours?! Not even she could do that. Celestia could do that about the sun though...She quickly lost herself in her thoughts. She did that a lot now a days. Her eyes began to close...
"PRINCESS LUNA!" She heard Sage bellow. Luna moaned and sat up. She saw Sage trot in holding two stacks of paper with her orange magic. Luna moaned again. Great. Now what? Sage out the two stacks on her bed. She also grabbed a few quills from her saddle bag and a small thing of ink.
"Alright! I sorted you paperwork in to two piles." She pointed her hoof to the first one. "This needs to be filled out by today." She then pointed a hoof to the other pile. "And this can be put off until tomorrow." She then pulled out another sheet of paper from her saddlebag. "And this is your schedule for the week." Luna picked it up with her own magic and examined it. Everyday besides the weekend was packed with meetings. Luna groaned and set it down on her bed. When did being a princess become so boring?
"Is that all?" Luna asked. Sage nodded.
"Don't forget to give me a call once all that paperwork is filled out." Sage said as she trotted out of her room and closed the door. Luna grabbed a quill and dipped it in ink. She grabbed the first sheet of paperwork from the first stack. She then began to fill it out.
Luna opened the door to her room. Her mane and tail were a complete mess and her eyes had bags under them. She yawned and began to climb in to her bed. "Oh how I have missed Friday..." She whispered as she turned off her lamp and got comfortable. She let out another yawn. Sometimes I miss the moon... She thought. At least I didn't have so much work!
"He Crashed Through My Window!"
Luna woke up to the sun shining in her face. She turned the other way and continued to sleep in. Somehow the sun managed to creep over her face again. She then heard giggling. She knew who that laugh belonged to."TIA!" She shouted in annoyance. Celestia continued to shine the sun in her face. She ended up burying herself under her blankets. She no longer felt the sun on her fur. "Much better...." She whispered as she fell asleep again. She planned to sleep until she had to raise the moon and stars. She needed the rest. But the universe had other plans for her...
Celestia meanwhile was figuring out how to annoy her sister when a white blur darted past her a sped towards Luna's bedroom. "What the buck..." Fire Streak saw what he was hurling towards and braced himself for impact.
CRASH! Luna heard glass shattering casing her bolt right up. What now? She thought as she scrambled out of bed to see what was making the noise. A certain Wonderbolt was lying in a pile of glass in the center of her room. She could have sworn she heard the universe laughing at her anger. She stomped her hoof and yelled. "OH COME ON! I JUST WANTED TO SLEEP! IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK FOR?! IS IT?!" She then yelled curse words in annoyance. Fire Streak quickly got to his hooves and brushed off the broken pieces of glass. He thought about what to say to enraged princess.
"Sorry, Princess Luna. W-We were trying a new trick. It seems I have to work on it...."
"It seems? You definitely need to work on it! You need to spend years working on it!" She then growled when she saw how smug he seemed to look. She decided to continue to scold the stallion. Maybe then he'll learn that crashing through princess's windows was not okay. "What if you had crashed on to me? You could have broken quite a few of my bones! I would have sued you and all of those blasted Wonderbolts. In fact, I might sue you now! And...Blah. Blah. Blah. " She continued to blab on about stuff her did not care about. She then brought uo the fact that he could have crashed in to her again.
"I wouldn't mind landing on you..." He mumbled with a grin. Luna didn't hear this. After a few more minutes of rambling she finally stopped. Fire Streak sighed with relief. He thought she would never stop talking.
Luna just looked at him and grumbled. He was just too smug to break. She sighed and began to trot towards her door. She might as well get up and have some breakfast. No point in trying to go back to bed now. She then thought of way to teach the stallion a lesson. As she trotted out of her bedroom she yelled,"You're paying for my new window!" She then slammed the door behind her with her magic. Fire Streak mumbled some curses while he began to clean up the broken glass.
Luna then bearged back in. "Once you're done cleaning up that mess I want you to go and fix my window. I don't care if you have training. You. Are. Fixing. That. Window." She then thought about what else to add.
"Oh and I want it done by tonight. No exceptions." When Luna walked out of the bedroom she could hear him yell a curse and kick something. It sounded pretty hard. This made Luna smile as she trotted off to the royal kitchen. But her anger would soon return.
Luna at her Hay Os in silence along with Celestia. Celstia watched her sister carefully. She feared that the Nightmare moon incident still bothered her. Once Luna finished her breakfast she began to play around with her spoon in the milk. She moved around and lifted it up and down. Celestia could see that something was troubling her. She knew the signs. "What's bothering you, Luna?" She asked in her calm voice. Luna just slowly set down her spoon.
"Well let's see! First of all I keep running in to this stallion in the Wonderbolts. He is cute and mildly hot..." She trailed off for a moment.
"LUNA SNAP OUT OF IT!" Celestia yelled as she banged her hooves on the table. Luna was jolted back to reality and continued to complain about the Wonderbolt.
"He crashed in to my window today! Its not very pleasant to wake up to a loud crash and a broken window!" Celestia just blinked slowly. She was expecting a very different answer. When Luna saw this she glared at her sister.
"Is some kind of prank..." Celestia looked slightly offended.
"Goodness no! I would only annoy you!" Luna sighed and nodded. Her sister wasn't that mean. Celestia tried to calm her sister down.
"Well that's not too bad." Celestia said in a reassuring voice. This didn't calm Luna down. She turned her head slowly towards her sister. This scared Celestia a bit. She then glared at Celestia again.
"He crashed through my window!" She shrieked as she slammed her hooves against the table. The royal sisters often did this when angry or yelling. Celestia sighed and began to think about how she could calm her sister down. Nothing came.
"Okay..." She said in a slightly less calm voice. "I have no idea what to do now...Absolutely no idea...I used to know how to help you but now..." Celestia then got out of her chair and walked off just like that. While walking away she yelled,"See you later Luna!" She pondered about her sister while Luna sat there confused.
"What was that about?" She thought for a moment. She then sighed and continued to eat her cereal. A thousand years had changed Celestia. They had changed her a lot. Like she hated radishes now. She used to obsess over those things...Luna shook her head.
"Celestia is an odd pony..." Luna then grinned. "Celestia is my odd sister." A guard who was walking by looked up at you.
"Are you talking to me, Princess Luna?" He asked. Luna was little surprised to hear his voice all of the sudden but shook her head no. The guard nodded and continued to do...what ever he was doing.
