Just a Regular Old Night...
Twilight groaned. After the battle with Tirek, her horn hurt. A lot. Usually, it would just go away, even after performing particularly difficult spells. But this time was different. Her horn was aching, and it wouldn't stop. It had been a few days, and she was trying not to use her horn. But she was mostly unsuccessful.
Mostly. She used it like she did everyday to levitate things to her, like she did normally, and it was extremely difficult to get out of that habit, even if it just irritated her horn more each time she did. She was laying on her bed, groaning excessively. Spike would be here asking her what was wrong if he wasn't at Fluttershy's while she helped care for his sick bird, Peewee. Twilight told him that Fluttershy could take care of him on her own, but he insisted on staying with her to be there when he was okay again.
"If you say so, Spike.", she'd said.
The only change in her horn was how the pain was growing. There has to be a way to treat this, she'd been thinking, I can't be the only pony who has this problem! Her thought process was interrupted by a knocking on the door. "Coming." she called, and attempted to get up. She succeeded, and walked over to the door, trying not to groan in pain as she did so. She pulled the wood door open to reveal a pearl unicorn with a purple, neatly curled mane and tail, with dark blue eyes: Rarity.
"Oh, hi, Rarity. What do you need?" Rarity levitated a small pile of books beside her in a light blue aura, the same aura surrounding her horn.
"I was returning these books for you. I borrowed them two months ago, and I'm terribly sorry they're late, but it took me awhile to get the routine down, and--"
"It's fine, Rarity." Twilight winced, a sharp pain being delivered to her horn.
"Is something troubling you?" Rarity questioned her alicorn friend, noticing her wince.
"I'm fine, just a bit of pain in my horn."
"Really? Because I believe I could help you with that." Rarity levitated the books over to Twilight bookshelf, placing them in order. "I believe the bedroom would be a more suitable setting for this," she said, walking up the stairs.
"The bedroom?" Twilight winced again. She bit her lip to prevent herself from groaning again. She followed closely behind her friend as they walked up the stairs, entering Twilight's bedroom. The two walked over to the smaller flight of stairs to access her bed. Twilight sat down on the starry bedspread. Rarity stood next to her, and instructed her to bow her head. "Now, I usually use a spell for this--and yes, since I had been stressing my horn far too much, it did hurt at first, but it soon felt better, I assure you--but because there are two of us, I suppose I could show you with my own two hooves." Rarity touched her hoof on Twilight horn, and began rubbing it up and down gently.
"Oh..." she murmured in surprise. It actually felt quite good. She continued to rub her friend's horn, gradually picking up her pace, but she kept it gentle. "This is actually sort of--" she cut herself off with a moan, and upon realizing what she'd just done, her cheeks reddened. There was no denying to herself that she felt arousal from this, but she'd never admit it to Rarity.

"Harder." Twilight murmured.

"Twilight! I'm home, and Peewee's alright!" called Spike, walking through the door and stomping through, his footsteps sounding as if they were headed for the stairs. Rarity looked at Twilight worriedly.
"Oh, sweet Celestia..." said Twilight, before she fell into a deep, pleasurable sleep.

"Uh... Twi?" Spike asked. Twilight's face was beet red, and Rarity hid her face. "What..."
"Y-you see...W-we can explain..."

"I don't think you need to know about different kinds until you get older, though."
"Or until I discover them myself!"
"I-" Twilight stopped. She knew she'd rather tell him than have to figure it out by more awkward or inappropriate circumstances. "So, how was Fluttershy?"
"She was awfully concerned about Peewee."
"Yeah? How were her animals?"
"Look, Twilight," Spike began, "why is this so awkward for you?"
"Because...because wouldn't you feel awfully awkward if you had to explain why you were just seen in the afterglow of sex after having horn intercourse with you little brother's crush?!" Twilight blurted. She covered her mouth with her hooves and avoided Spike's gaze.
