//-------------------------------------------------------// Richtofen Chronicles: One Last Chance -by King Tsunami- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Welcome to Equestria //-------------------------------------------------------// Welcome to Equestria April Ninth, 1945, the day the war was changed. Hundreds of planes flew over the city of Nagasaki, all of them were made from steel and all were different colors of the rainbow, there were some the sizes of speedboats, some were the size of buses, but one was the biggest. The rain covered the sky like a blanket over a child, a loud and very deep siren went off which sounded like multiple were going off, all of the planes began lifting upwards but one stayed leveled. The silver, steel covered, four propeller engines on both of its wings, and labeled with a small but cartoonish train on the side of the cockpit, the Bockscar stayed leveled above Nagasaki. "We are dropping Fat Man, I repeat, Fat Man is going to fall," Captain Fredrick C. Bock said in the radio, he flipped a couple switches in the large cockpit full of buttons, the two large bomb-bay doors opened under the aircraft, a large, yellow, and football shaped bomb began to hang from the chains in the opening, one would say that the bomb looked like a football with a rectangle fan attached to the back of it. The front two chains ripped from the bomb, leaving the bomb to face downwards, soon after the front retracted, the last two chains let go. The bomb whistled as it fell, gravity pulling it down until Fat Man hit the cold, hard concrete. A large flash engulfed the city, soon after came the implosion, a mushroom cloud lifted from the city as all the vehicles, people, children, and buildings flew away. This was the beginning of the end. April Thirty-first, the day after the fall of the Axis. Loud sirens shook the ears of everyone in Berlin, hundreds of bodies filled the streets, some with Swastikas attached to their suits and some with a yellow hammer and sickle attached. A large, green tank drove in front of the reinforced door of the secret lab which was inside of a museum-like building, now with two large Swastikas hanging on the roof. The tank fired a large shell into the door which alarmed all of the soldiers inside. The German soldiers waited behind grey walls, red pillars, some even kicked down the tables that had sensitive blueprints on, the soldiers were either armed with a small handgun or submachine gun. The grey smoke filled the doorway, confusing the Germans until bullets came flying out, some were shot and killed but some lived. They fired back, only hitting a couple soldiers in green suits, but it was no luck. The Soviets began to jump through the windows, firing at the last ones who were alive, at least fourteen bodies were in the room. Twenty-five Soviets began searching the room, trying to find any entrance into the secret labs, they were tearing off the red wallpaper, kicking holes in walls, pulling down the hanging lamps, they had no luck until on pulled out the rug, revealing a silver door. A heavily armored soldier took out a long, black, and steel tube from his back, "Stay back," the Soviet said as he fired a rocket into the door, breaking the door into a hallway. Four jumped down into the hallway, their boots made noises which echoed through the small hallway, the concrete walls and floors shaking. They started to move forward to a doorway, a steel bell was in the room which looked like a metal bug was holding it up, on the sides were two cloth swastika flags. A loud boom came from beside the four, pushing them back as a small, white, ring made of sound began to soak into the wall. The large bell's door dropped open into a bridge, a figure came out of the corner and into the light, his face was pale as snow and had a huge scar on his cheek, he wore a tan suit that had three medals on the left side along with a hat, the hat was tan with a red strip under the visor and top. "You're not taking me anywhere," he said as he dropped the large weapon, it had a huge, black cylinder for the barrel but a skinny, yellow body behind the barrel, "Don't mess with the Richtofen family." He began going up the steel bridge until a bullet flew past him, hitting the bell. He looked back, face to face with twenty-one Soviets. He quickly ran into the bell, surrounded by machines and buttons, more bullets began hitting the aircraft and the clunks echoed through the machine. He quickly pressed buttons which were right beside the doorway, then he pulled down the switch to close the door. The door began to slowly close up, giving one Soviet and idea. "Stay here, I got him," He jumped onto the now lifting up door, armed only with a knife. Richtofen climbed up the ladder, putting him on the top of the machine, surrounded by a strip of glass to see and had one tan, and swiveling chair for more comfort. Richtofen grabbed onto the controls and opened up a panel, labeled, 'Year Month Day,'  he put in the day World War one started as the door finally closed, trapping the grey clothed Soviet inside. The Soviet climbed up the ladder and began to attack, Richtofen dodged each stab until grabbing onto the knife to fight back. The machine began to float, creating a wind tunnel under it, then two lights came out on top of the machine. Richtofen slipped under him and landed back in the main room, the Soviet accidentally stabbed the time panel, destroying the main time control unit. The Soviet tried to pull out the knife, only to get choke-held by Richtofen. "You idiot! You're going to get us both killed, we won't know what time we're getting to!" Richtofen yelled as the Soviet headbutted him, making Richtofen bleed through his nose. The machine began to make a loud noise, the noise of the Universe, then began to disappear, the rest of the Soviets thought they were going insane. The machine finally disappeared, swirling around and bobbing intensely through the blue tunnel of time and space. They screamed until the bobbing and swirling stopped after two minutes of horror, soon the aircraft began to fall. They continued to scream, dropping out the blue sky like a fly. They hit the ground so fast, most of the machine was melted or blown into orbit. The two laid on the only side that didn't hit the ground first. Two hours later, Richtofen woke up and looked around, they were in a forest and surrounded be blue flowers. He carefully climbed up the machine on its side, one of the flags were burned but the other was hanging on a group of trees, the sky was brighter than their time and not full of pollution, it's like Humans never been here. A large pink tower signaled the sign of civilization but a city on a cloud surprised Richtofen, along with a castle on a mountain. He looked around, only to see an ocean of trees, he jumped down and went back into the wreckage. He opened a steal door only to pull out a gold revolver, along with a steel shotgun. "Where are we?" the Soviet questioned as he looked around. Richtofen tossed the shotgun towards him, the Soviet grabbed it and aimed the weapon at the German. "I'm Nikolai Belinski, who are you and where are we?" Richtofen looked at him, "I'm Edward Richtofen, and this isn't a 'where' question, it's a when," Richtofen said in a deep, heavily accented voice as he looked back at the wilderness, "If you hadn't noticed, we are in a possibly dangerous forest, we'll have to work together for our answer." Nikolai stopped aiming at him and looked towards the forest. A figure began walking towards them, half the size of a Human but had four legs, the two aimed their weapons at it. The figure finally walked into the wreckage, revealing a purple horse-like creature. "What are you?" the pony said as she looked back towards them, having a terrified tone of voice. Nikolai looked at Richtofen then back at the purple unicorn, with sparkles on her flank, he then began to talk "I'm Nikolai, he's Richtofen, we are Humans and what are you? Weird alien creature," Richtofen sighed and place his palm on his own face, holding the revolver in his left hand. "I'm Twilight Sparkle, a unicorn," she whimpered after talking, staring at the gold revolver, "A-And you're in Equestria." The two Humans looked at each other, exchanging their strange expressions. Richtofen looked back at Twilight, "What did you do to Humans?" They looked up at the door that was dangling, then it fell. Everything went slow, like they were about to die, Richtofen's life of science flashed before his eyes as Nikolai's life of vodka flashed. Everything began to speed up, the door snapped from the wires then crashed onto the two Humans, knocking them cold. Twilight used her magic to lift the door and pull them out, just to place them on the door to carry back to Ponyville. //-------------------------------------------------------// Criminal Chase //-------------------------------------------------------// Criminal Chase Twilight Sparkle walked out of the forest, keeping them out of sight from ponies as she slowly walked across the perimeter of Ponyville. "Hey, Twilight!" a voice was heard from above, Twilight looked up only to see a purple eyed, rainbow colored mane, rainbow lightning cutie-marked, and blue coated pegasus on a cloud, her head was only visible as she looked down. Twilight shrieked as Rainbow Dash looked down, Twilight quickly flipped the door over to cover the two Humans. "Are you hiding something from me? Is it my birthday present?" She flew down to try and get a look at the door, Twilight quickly maneuvered to hide the Humans, "Trying anything to not let me see? Alright, see you later Twilight!" Rainbow Dash flew away, back into the clouds and quickly into sleep. "That was a close one," Twilight sighed and quickly ran towards Applejack's barn. As she ran, Richtofen's hat fell off but she never noticed, she continued onto the red barn that had a tan house beside it, there was even a treehouse on the opposite side of the barn. Applejack was carrying a bucket of apples into the large, red barn, Twilight sparkle quickly ran into the barn after her, accidentally knocking over a stack of barrels. "Woah!" Twilight slipped on the fallen apples, loosing her grip on the steel door which fell onto the Humans. The orange coated, yellow maned, and apple cutie-marked looked behind herself. "Twilight, you okay?" Applejack asked as she helped Twilight up, the steel door began to lift over, revealing Nikolai helping Richtofen up. "What are those things?" she screamed and began throwing apples at them, splattering apples onto the walls and onto their skins. Twilight pulled her away from the apple barrels, to the large corner away from them. "He's friends with us!" Twilight screamed at her, the Humans looked back at her, Applejack calmed down, breathing heavily as the Humans look at her. Richtofen looked around, first looking at the apples then behind himself. "Where's my hat?" Richtofen asked in a clam voice then slowly into a much angrier voice, "Where is my hat!" He tried to run at Applejack but Nikolai held him from going near her, same with Twilight doing to Applejack. "She took my hat!" Richtofen yelled out, acting like a wild animal to attack Applejack. "She didn't take your hat, you must have dropped it!" Nikolai yelled back, pushing him into a barrel of apples, the barrel immediately broke and all the apples inside became applesauce. "There, I didn't want to do that but you made me," Nikolai calmly says as he looked out of the barn, straight at the rest of Ponyville, "So, what should we do?" Twilight trotted outside and looked at the evening sky, "Princess Luna is lowering the Moon, you should get some rest and stay out of Celestia's sight." The two Humans looked confused. "Princess Luna and Celestia are both the Moon and Sun, Celestia rules Equestria," Applejack said in a huge southern accent. Nikolai immediately laid on a bag of apples, he placed down his shotgun beside the bag then fell asleep. Richtofen sat on the other bag across from him, cleaning his revolver. "So, do ponies sleep?" Richtofen asks as he cleaned the gold, Twilight nodded and Richtofen got up from the bag, "I need to redeem myself, I'll see if there's any criminal in the town." Night quickly fell, a white royal guard was patrolling the night as he found the hat Richtofen has lost, he picked it up and placed it on his head as he continued his patrol. Richtofen dressed up in a black, leather trench-coat over his suit, along with dark colored goggles over his grey gas mask. He began walking out of the barn, towards Ponyville. After a couple minutes of walking through the happy town, he spotted a green and white mare walking, along with a dark pony dressed in a jacket while in a alley. Richtofen stopped walking and slowly pulled out his golden revolver, he quickly camouflaged himself into the shadow of the darkness. Once the mare reached the alley, the dark pony dragged her into the darkness. "Now's my chance," Richtofen whispered to himself as he ran into the trash filled alley, "Look behind you!" The dark pony looked at Richtofen while he was holding down the mare. "Say cheese," Richtofen pulled his finger on the trigger, the hammer pulled back then quickly went back into its original position, a loud blast came from the barrel as smoke engulfed Richtofen's hand. The dark pony fell backwards, his head had a small hole coming from the front to back, under him was a puddle of blood that was growing. The revolver's cylinder finally moved onto the next bullet just as Richtofen placed it into his trench-coat, then began walking out of the alley. The mare had blood all over her face but no physical damage. "T-Thank you," the mare said as she pushed off the body, "Who are you?" Richtofen looked back at her, then he looked forward and started to run back to the barn. The royal guard that had Richtofen's hat ran to the alley, all to look at is the mare covered in blood and the bloody body of a criminal. A group of royal guards began running toward the direction Richtofen was going, Richtofen got the first glance of them and jumped into a bush which was beside the river. The royal guards ran past the bush, arriving at the scene, Richtofen ran out of the bush, causing all the guards to look at him. "Get back here!," the guards yelled furiously as the chase began. Richtofen ran faster than the guards but not more accurate, he accidentally ran into a alley, which was a dead end. The guards covered the only exit Richtofen had, "It's all over now," one of the guards said as he pulled out a sword with magic. Richtofen quickly got an idea that would save him and Nikolai, "Wanna see a magic trick Twilight taught me?" Richtofen questioned as he reached his hand into the trench-coat, grabbing onto the grip of the golden revolver. The royal guards carefully nodded. Richtofen quickly pulled out his revolver and shot the first five in front of him, but he soon ran out of bullets. The first five guards all had holes in their heads, the same with the dark pony. The guards all pulled out swords as Richtofen holstered the revolver. "You are under arrested," the Royal Captain said as Richtofen placed his hands up then slowly walked over to the first royal guard, who is dead, swimming in a pool of blood and. Richtofen knelled down as the three last guards began to move forward. Richtofen grabbed the sword and chopped off the head of the nearest guard, the guard's body twitched as it began to spray out blood all over Richtofen. Richtofen wiped off blood from his goggles then stabbed the second guard in the back, paralyzing him. Richtofen looked at the third, which had his hat. "Give me my hat or else," Richtofen said in a muffled voice, then pulled the hat off of the terrified guard, "Now go." The guard whimpered and ran away from the alley, Richtofen calmly walked back to the barn, Nikolai awake and eating an apple. Richtofen pulled off the grey, blood covered gas mask then slowly placed his hat back on. "I need to find a new way to redeem myself," Richtofen pulled off his blood covered trench-coat, revealing his tan SS suit. "What were you talking about?" Nikolai looks at him, then the blood covered clothing on the ground, "How many?" Richtofen looked at him, "Eight, seven royal guards, no more ammo for my revolver," Richtofen said as he laid on his own bag of apples. "Next morning is when we start exploring, I feel there's something more here, like some sort of Humanity left in the world," Richtofen said in a serious tone. Nikolai was already asleep, with a bottle of vodka beside him along with the loudest snoring. Richtofen slowly got used to it and fell asleep, the night was silent except for the snoring. Miles away, in the city being held up on top of a mountain, Cantorlot. A white coated, sun shaped cutie mark, multicolored mane, horned and winged pony stood in the biggest castle of Cantorlot, the outside was white and held up with columns. She talked with the last survivor of the onslaught. She gasped as she heard the word, "Human," so she walked out of the huge, gold doors, in front of the gigantic, white castle, trying to clear her mind. Hundreds of guards stood outside, all of them different colors and all of them with different weapons, Celestia walked down the steps, in front of the crowd, she then took five steps into the crowd, and began ordering the tallest guard, the captain of the royal guards, the voice was unheard by all the chanting but only understandable by him. After giving the orders, she began walking into the crowd, surrounded by guards of all sorts and the ponies that came out to watch, the city center was like a explosion that can not get out of the bomb. Once she got to the end and now walking faster, the guards started following her through the road, the same speed as Celestia is troting, buildings on all sides began to move faster, telling the guards that they are picking up speed but one building wasn't moving, the gate in front of them. Celestia moved her hooves forward, sliding to slow herself down, the guards began to copy her and started to slow all the way to a stop, the gate was three feet in front of them now, only thing to do was to open the gigantic, white doors. Celestia peeked behind her for only a second, making sure all of the thousands of guards were following, she looked up, facing the top of the tall gates. Her white horn glowed a purple haze, the doors were covered with the same haze as they began to slide outwards, opening a huge gap which revealed a road leading down the mountain and train tracks beside, going the same destination. Nikolai was outside of the red barn, sitting on his apple bag, watching the bright yellow lights that are traveling down the mountain. "German comrade, Richtofen, come here and see this," Nikolai calmly said to Richtofen, who has just  gotten out of his laying position and is now sitting. Richtofen rubbed his eyes and gotten off the bag, walking beside Nikolai and watching the lights. "Where's Twilight? Maybe she'll give us information about what's happening," Richtofen told Nikolai as he walked back into the barn, grabbing his golden revolver from under the bag. Nikolai shrugged just as Richtofen appeared beside him. "We need to find a place to hide, there is no time to lose," Richtofen ordered as he began walking into Ponyville, which is now lighten by sunrise. Nikolai followed him back into the same town, past the same bush Richtofen hid in, then past the same alley filled with blood, until they came to a stop as the brown door of the treehouse busted open, revealing Twilight trotting out with books hovering over her, all a different size, shape, and color. "Don't talk to her, we must get out of here!" Richtofen began to run past her, Twilight became shocked that they are out in the open, Nikolai waved at her as he ran past her. The lights on the mountain began to fade as the sun rose, the horizon was no longer green but now blue, along with the sky above Ponyville. Richtofen dived through two, tall and green trees, passing a 'Do Not Enter' sign that had a skull and crossbones on the front of the sign. They never stopped once through the dense forest until they reached a bundle of blue flowers, "I feel sick" Nikolai said as he grasp his stomach while groaning. Richtofen patted his back then took a step in the flower bed, the clearing of the forest was completely strange, even for Richtofen's life. "Why is there strange noises?" Nikolai began to spin around, looking everywhere for the source of sound. "I hear it too," Richtofen whispered as he knelled down, spreading the flowers away, revealing a plasic cube that had a screen on the front, it even had bars that were moving up and down along with Russian word. Richtofen picked up the box, revealing a green skeleton's arm on the handle of the box, Richtofen shrieked and nearly fell backwards as the arm fell off. "Nikolai, you're from the Soviet union, can you read this?" Richtofen handed over the object to Nikolai as Richtofen questioned him. Nikolai looked over the screen of the object, the bars on the screen slowed to a stop in the middle of the blue screen. "It says 3,000μSv," Nikolai says, worried, "It's like an atomic bomb went off here." Richtofen slowly turned around, in a full circle until looking at the direction opposite of Nikolai, seeing rising smoke above the forest and a small, grey path through the thick forest, possibly miles long. Richtofen began to walk into the path, surrounded by thousands of tall, dark, and green trees, all of them creating a strange feeling over Richtofen and Nikolai. Nikolai began following Richtofen as he heard strange noises behind himself, holding the brown and black shotgun closer to his chest, ready to fire. Richtofen began to slow, until he finally reached a step. "We are not alone in here, with me having no bullets left and a vodka addicted man, who is holding a fully loaded shotgun," Richtofen said, joking around a bit until the noises appeared in front of them. Richtofen slowly gotten into a fight position, his fists up in the air, covering his face as he looked around. A wooden paw appeared on the ground beside Nikolai, startling him. A second paw appeared beside the first and the creature finally revealed itself, a brown wolf but made out of wood, its green eyes stared at the two man army, its joints floating as if everything was connected to invisible string. "We are dead," Richtofen said with his teeth gritting, getting ready for a deathmatch between wooden wolves. Two more wolves appeared in front of Richtofen, all with the same features. "Now or never," Nikolai said as he pulled the grey trigger, a yellow blast blew out of the barrel, small, metal pebbles flew out of the barrel, as fast as a rocket in the sky. The wolf in front of Nikolai flew backwards, laying on the grey ground. The two wolves backed up, crouching and ready to pounce on the two Humans. Nikolai faced the last two, backing up along with Richtofen, both ready to battle. A loud noise echoed through the night, waking up ponies and alerting the Royal Guards, the two wolves fell with the similar hole in the head, both laying in front of Nicholai and Richtofen. "Ponies don't have any sort of firearm," Richtofen looked to the right of himself, seeing a silhouette rise from the darkness of the trees. Nikolai saw the figure also, which was now holding something that looked like a stick attached to a belt. The figure slowly walked towards them, pushing away grey bushes and crunching branches with each step. "Hold it, don't you move!" Richtofen yelled at the figure, still holding his fists up and ready to battle. The unknown figure yelled back, "Well, America needed you for our little problem, you couldn't believe how much work we've done to find you," the figure slowly rose into the small area of moonlight, revealing a muscular man, with an American flag bandanna attached to his head, green camouflaged pants, and a tan sniper rifle, hanging over his shoulder. "Richtofen, I am Tank Dempsey, I can see that a Soviet found you before I did," Tank told Richtofen as he walked onto the grey path, "Now, we are stuck on this world and have no means of escape, I've been hiding out in a cave from the wolves, you can not believe how much I am terrified." "We all are terrified, we found talking horses that are ontop of the food chain now," Richtofen moved his hands, up and down while talking to him. Nikolai stared at Tank, pumping the fore-end back and forth, blowing out the empty, bronze shell from the bottom of the firearm. "How did you get here?" Richtofen asked slowly, talking in a heavy, German accent while stroking his chin. Tank looked at him, talking at the same speed, "Die Glocke, The Bell," Richtofen took a step back, breathing heavily. "How did you get the schematics?" Richtofen angrily asked, talking in the heaviest, German accent he has ever done. Tank chuckled, quickly taking out a folded blue paper, then handing it to Richtofen. Richtofen grabbed it with force and quickly unfolded it, revealing the while diagrams, drawings and German writing. He looked over every section until he found one piece of evidence, a scorch mark on the top, right corner of the page. "But the Russians got into the base, how did you get this?" Richtofen asked in a worried voice, Holding out the schematics as Tank quickly grabbed it, placing the blue paper in his right pocket. "It's not important right not, we need an area to hold out in," Tank looked around, up and down until he saw the growing smoke from the distance, "We need to check out that smoke, it goes deeper in the forest. But remember, the deeper you go, the less sane you become." He begins to walk further into the forest, with wolves howling through the night, the Moon rising above the three Humans that are now walking towards the rising smoke who are certain they're going towards oblivion. //-------------------------------------------------------// Nine-Tailed Fox //-------------------------------------------------------// Nine-Tailed Fox The three were all looking around, at the blue ground, grey trees, black sky, white dots that covered the sky like ants on cement, or at the bright, white sphere in the night sky. Movement followed them, the four quickly turned around as soon as they heard a snap, Richtofen look at the grey twig that is just laying on the ground, snapped in two. "Something's going on here," he looked back up and faced the two men, both of which had a confused look on their faces, "Well, don't keep me waiting. Come out of your shells and tell me who done this." Richtofen pointed at the ground, the twig has disappeared but left tiny crumbs. Nikolai shook his head then Richtofen gave a smirk to him, "Ja, I knew it was you. You can't keep a secret past me," Richtofen's thumb went up and placed his thumb into his own chest, "I'm like a eagle." "Nikolai was in front of me and we went past the twig before it snapped," the three faces began to loosen up, their looks turning worried as they exchanged their looks. "What made that sound?" Dempsey sounded worried as he asked the question, Richtofen and Nikolai became paranoid then began to turn around in circles, slowly but fast enough to observe their surroundings, "Did anything follow you two?" "Well, I may have just killed a group of guards and now we are criminals," a bush rustled, causing the three to turn around. Nikolai quickly equipped his shotgun then pumped a loose shell out, the shell made a clacking noise as it hit a rock on the ground, he aimed at the bush, waiting for a guard or one of the mutated wolves. A voice cried out, "Somepony, help!" the voice had a Southern accent, like Applejack but with a much higher tone in the voice. In a split second, Richtofen groaned in pain and laid on the ground with a small pony, holding his arm tightly as she cried. The pony had red eyes and a red mane, along with yellow fur and a cute, pink bow-tie on top of her mane. Nikolai aimed his shotgun at the pony and Dempsey grabbed his own fist then pulled it back, making a loud crack. The little pony looked up at Nikolai, staring straight into the grey barrel, "I-I'm Applebloom, a Cutie Mark Crusader," she made a small squeak as Richtofen sat up, he shook his head, picked her up and then stood up, with Nikolai and Dempsey on each side of him. "I never knew ponies are this small, what kind are you?" Richtofen held her up, face to face with Applebloom. Nikolai thought of something to say then stared at Dempsey, giggling as Dempsey shook his head in disapproval. "I'm a foal, filly to be exact," Applebloom looked at her flank, seeing no cutie-mark, "I have no cutie-mark." She looked down, having a sad look. Richtofen pulled her closer, hugging her as Nikolai giggled. Richtofen broke from the hug, placed Applebloom on the ground then turned to face Nikolai, with both of his hands into fists and a stern look. Just as Richtofen did so, Nikolai did the right thing and stopped giggling. Richtofen carefully picked up Applebloom once more, patting her head as he held her. "What happened?" Richtofen slowly asked as he made hand signals at Nikolai, Nikolai responded by holding the shotgun in a ready position, aiming at the bush. "There were guards in the forest, there was 4 and they all had blood on them, my friends ran away in different directions," she looked around, sniffing the air, "That smells like the guards, I'm scared." She began to cry as three grey guards came out of the green bush, all were covered in blood and were holding blood covered swords. "Applebloom cover your ears," Applebloom's ears went down along with her head, Nikolai's finger pulled back the trigger and shot out bronze pellets at the left guard, the guard fell down as soon as the pellets hit, creating a puddle of blood under him as the area in which his right part of his head was suppose to be, bleed into the puddle. The middle guard shrieked then pointed his sword to face Nikolai, he ran towards Nikolai as he loaded his shotgun at the worst moment. Nikolai dropped down into a prone position, the sword slicing the air above him as Nikolai pulled the trigger again, blasting off the two left legs from the guard's body then he fell onto the blood covered grass, blood squirting all over Nikolai as the guard bleed out at a fast rate. The last guard started to back away but Dempsey grabbed his last two legs then he forced the Guard down, the guard tried to swing the sword at him but missed. "Who are you?" Dempsey grabbed the sword's blade and forced it by the guard's neck, "Tell me, or I'll find out what pony tastes like." The guard began to tear up then gave an answer, "N-Nine-Tailed Fox Squadron," the guard began to quietly cry. Dempsey grabbed the sword from him and the guard broke from Dempsey's grip. He looked up to face Dempsey, who was now aiming the sword at the guard, "I have a family, don't kill me." Dempsey thought about what his comment was and finally lowered the sword, allowing the guard to run back into the deep, dark forest. "There was four," Nikolai pumped the shotgun and faced Richtofen, Dempsey didn't listen while tracing the word 'Nine-tiles Fox' which was engraved on the gold blade, "We'll need to be careful, Applebloom, you can open your ears now," Applebloom's ears popped up, "Who were your friends?" Applebloom slowly started to speak, "S-Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle, the other Crusaders." Richtofen patted her head and held her tightly. "We'll find them, no matter what happens, we'll find your friends," Richtofen threw her onto his shoulders and started to walk towards the smoke once again, with the two following close behind Richtofen while staying on the path. //-------------------------------------------------------// Vault 113 //-------------------------------------------------------// Vault 113 The four were now getting near to the smoke, on occasion they looked around to see if Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were around, or the last pony from the Nine-Tailed Fox squadron. It felt like they were going in a circle but the smoke was definitely closer. The four stayed on the path until they finally reached a much smaller clearing, surrounded by yellow trees along with dead grass, the four stood in the middle of the mysterious clearing with the smoke on the other side of the trees. "Just beyond there, Nikolai and Dempsey, take point," Richtofen looked to them then points to the trees, the two looked confused at why they were picked to go forward. Nikolai finally manned up and stepped forward with the shotgun in his right hand, "Fine, but I think Dempsey should stay with you. There were four guards in this forest, now only one." Richtofen nodded and Nikolai reached his hand to move leaves, but something grabbed his hand then dragged him into the clearing, "Dempsey!" Everything went silent as another humanoid figure appeared between two of the yellow trees, he held a samurai sword in his left hand, the blade glowed in the moonlight as he moved forward. A Japanese man was between the two trees, he was wearing a grey suit covered in leather straps, along with an empty parachute bag on his back and a brown holster for his sword. "Who are you?" the man slowly asked, holstering his sword with Nikolai crawling out of the line of trees. Applebloom hid her head behind Richtofen's neck, afraid of the man. "I'll introduce myself, I am Takeo, a Japanese infantry soldier, I can see that the American and Soviet is also one," he moved his head to the side, staring the Nikolai's bleeding head. "I'm Doctor Richtofen, the American is Dempsey, and the Soviet is Nikolai," Richtofen stared at Takeo's sword on his back, waiting for him to attack, "The fifriendslly is Applebloom, we are looking for her , Scootaloo and Applebloom." Nikolai finally stopped crawling, laying beside Dempsey's feet, "We need shelter and a first-aid kit," Richtofen moved to face Nikolai's bleeding head. "I found a nuclear vault, I heard a loud, metallic screech coming from the location," Takeo turned around and walked to the line of trees then stopped, before entering the clearing, "Well, come on." He slowly walked into the huge line of trees, losing sight from the four, "Let's go!" Richtofen ran into the line, carrying Applebloom on his back. Dempsey helped Nikolai onto his feet and wrapped his right arm around him, helping him walk into the line of trees. Takeo walked out from the opposite side of the line, entering a gigantic clearing that had multicolored trees, grass, and apples on the trees, along with one gear shaped opening in the middle on the ground. "The British were building shelters in case of nuclear war," the four entered the clearing with Takeo, "Years before you kind terrorized my country." Takeo turned to look at Dempsey, then snarled. Dempsey nervously smiled then quickly frowned. "We'll have to open that hatch over there," Takeo turned to stare at the hatch, dozens of feet away from them, "We'll need to be careful, anything can be in there." Takeo ran through the sea of grass, reaching the side of the opening. In the opening, it was clear to see that some sort of intelligent life form created it, the floor was made of iron and was glowing from the inside lights. The four followed Takeo, reaching the opening in eleven seconds. "I-I can't use my shotgun a-at this state," Nikolai coughed up blood, splattering it on his own boots. Richtofen grabbed the shotgun from Nikolai's hand, holding it on the pump, "I'll take point." Richtofen jumped down, landing on his right foot and left knee. The room had cavern walls and the same steel floor, in front of Richtofen was another gear shaped opening, with an iron, gear shaped door on the floor, like something escaped from the vault. The vault door had an yellow number on it, the number was an specific 'Vault 113.' Richtofen looked up, seeing the four looking down, into the vault, "It's clear," he yelled out. causing Takeo to jump down. landing on his feet. Nikolai's upper-half of him was hanging down, Takeo carefully pulled him down, slowly until he fell completely. Richtofen quickly went under Nikolai's feet, grabbing them as Applebloom held onto Richtofen's arm. Takeo went onto his knees as Richtofen did the same, carefully placing Nikolai onto the floor. Nikolai quickly rolled to the right, dodging Dempsey's boots as they fell onto the floor, making a loud squeaking noise. "Be quiet, you might get us killed," an loud whipping sound is heard, coming out from the vault as an small, white, and circle shaped object flew over the vault, "Get down!" All four of them went into a crouching position, Nikolai didn't because he already was on the floor, blood dripping out of his wound. The object stopped and began to lower, hovering over the upper gap. After two minutes of hiding, the object mysteriously disappeared with the sound of the universe, everything inside of one sound wave. The four who could get up, stood, Nikolai groaned in pain as Richtofen turned to stare at him, "We can't carry him around everywhere, someone needs to stay with him." Takeo looked at Richtofen, in one swipe he took out his sword, "I'll do it for honor," he said as he held the sword in his right hand, ready for anything, "Go on, he'll be okay." Applebloom jumped from Richtofen's shoulder and landed near Nikolai's body. Applebloom turned to stare at Richtofen, "I could earn my cutie mark this way, now go." She made hoof movements, signaling the group of two to leave. Richtofen and Dempsey entered the gigantic, and dark hallway, too dark to see anything that isn't buttons. "Do you have a lighter? I'm pretty sure you do," Richtofen questioned Dempsey as Richtofen pumped the shotgun, blasting a empty shell from the bottom. Dempsey took out an sliver lighter, the lighter made clicks with every turn of the gear, "Having trouble?" Dempsey did one last click, sparking the gas and lighting up the area they were in. The room had servers, two rooms on both sides, and one control panel. The main room had the yellow control panel and the walls. ceiling, and floor was green steel, along with the side rooms. The side rooms had huge servers on the inside, but the rooms were locked down for some reason. "Something smells fishy," an loud, alarm sound ringed through the vault, causing another door to block the entrance into the actual vault, blocking off Richtofen and Dempsey from the others, "Oh no!" The lights came back on, the room glowed in a happy mood, the control panel was covered in flexible metal, and the hallway to the living quarters has opened up. "Well, something is in here," Richtofen said as he stared at the open hallway, "Let's find out what it is." The two ran into the hallway at fast speeds, Richtofen in front and Dempsey following, scared of what's inside.
