A book with a blue aura around it lifted into the air. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Dusk's book fell and she ran to the door. She opened it. "Hello. Can I come in?" said Princess Twilight Sparkle. "Uh...y-y-yes." Dusk said nervously. The princess stepped in, and smiled at Dusk, who asked, "Why are you here?" "I need you to come with me to Canterlot." Twilight said, and her expression saddened a bit. "But Mommy doesn't know I'm going." Twilight sadly smiled and teleported her and Dusk to her castle bedroom. She motioned for Dusk to sit on her bed and sighed. "Dusk...your mom is gone." Twilight closed her eyes, tears forming in them. "W-what?" Dusk asked, eyes wide, tears forming. "Groider...killed her. I'm sorry..." Twilight had tears falling down her cheeks. Dusk started crying, then ran and hugged Twilight, who was silently crying. "I'm sorry...Celestia said you can stay with me. In the castle. I need to stay for a couple weeks anyway, to sort out Groider. Which I'll talk to you about later." The two ponies stayed in the room for a while, until Twilight stood up. "I'll leave you here for a while, okay? Come down to the dining hall for lunch later." Dusk sniffed and nodded, her black Rainbow Dash-like mane bouncing. She sat down and looked at herself in a mirror. Her light blue body looked perfect in her mother's eyes. So did the streak of purple in her mane. Her dark blue eyes closed as she fell asleep in front of the mirror. "Dusk...lunchtime." Twilight's voice woke Dusk. She nodded and stood up. Twilight started walking out of the room, and Dusk followed. After a lunch that felt like a feast, Dusk walked into Twilight's room. "Dusk...I need to tell you something." Twilight said softly. "What can possibly make my day worse?" "...maybe what I'm about to show you." Twilight summoned a jewel encrusted box, and took out a crown with her magic. Dusk gasped. "What is that?" "The element of Magic. At least it's crown. Look at it. It has my cutie mark..." "Because you were the last element of Magic." "Not the last." Twilight placed the crown on Dusk's head. It glowed purple, and her eyes glowed white. "What's happening..." And that is when she fainted. //-------------------------------------------------------// Honesty, Laughter and Generosity //-------------------------------------------------------// Honesty, Laughter and Generosity Tales of Harmony: Book 1 Chapter 3: Honesty, Laughter and Generosity "Peachypeachypeachy!" Chocolate Cake woke up her friend, Peachy Pie. Peachy groaned. "Don't do that, Choc." Peachy glared at her friend. A light brown earth pony with curly hair the lightest of brown, with a streak of bright blue. Her dark brown eyes looked excited. Choc looked at her friend, bouncing up and down. She was a light pink-orange earth pony, with light green hair with a streak of orange tied into two braids. She also had orange eyes. "Come on come on come on!" Peachy groaned again and walked downstairs to breakfast. She saw the other earth pony fillies going downstairs too. They sat at a table and started eating their breakfast. After breakfast, they went to the playground. Meanwhile, Golden Gem woke up. She clumsily levitated a mirror towards her. She saw her light orange unicorn filly body. And her curled dark blue hair with a streak of purple, and her golden eyes. Until the mirror smashed, her spell failing. She heard a giggle behind her. Red Ruby always laughed at her failed spells. "Ha ha ha." Gem said sarcastically, then walked downstairs to breakfast. After that, she went to the playground, which was next to the earth ponies' playground. She sat on the ground next to a hole in the fence in the corner, levitating rocks and making them fly a foot away, then fall. "Peachy. Over here!" Choc said in a loud whisper. "There's a hole!" Choc and Peachy climbed through. "Eek!" They heard a voice, and got hit on the head with a rock. Choc rubbed her head, and Peachy said, "Ouch that hurt!" They looked at the unicorn filly holding a rock in midair, ready to strike. "You're not supposed to be on this side!" Gem said, the rock falling. "We know!" Choc said happily. "We came here to-ouch!" Something else hit all of them on the head. Necklaces. "Awesome!" Choc put on one with a bright blue ballon gem. "I'm not sure about this, Choc." Peachy said, but Choc shoved a orange and green apple gem necklace onto Peachy, and one with a purple diamond gem onto Gem. Their eyes glowed white, and they all passed out. //-------------------------------------------------------// Kindness and Loyalty //-------------------------------------------------------// Kindness and Loyalty Tales of Harmony: Book 1 Chapter 2: Kindness and Loyalty Blue Skies looked into the mirror next to her bed. Her long blue mane with a streak of pink went past her shoulders. Her light blue body was thin compared to ponies her age. And her wings, they were smaller than a normal pegasus fillies' would be. And her kind, blue eyes. "SKY! TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" Color Blitz yelled, scaring her. "Eek!" Sky squealed. She attempted to fly to the stairs, but fell on her stomach. "Please don't do that again, Blitz." Sky said kindly to the lightest of yellow pegasus filly that was Color Blitz. Her messy rainbow mane fell just above her pink eyes. "Sorry Sky." Blitz said, her head down, her streak of dark red mane falling over her face. Both fillies sat down with the other pegasi, and started eating. "Okay kids, time to go outside and play. Remember, no sneaking out." The owner of the pegasi section of the orphanage said. "Why can't we go to the earth ponies' or unicorns' playground?" Blitz yelled. "You can't mix with other types of ponies. It's bad for learning." "We all know that's not true." Blitz muttered. They ate breakfast, and went outside to play. Blitz flew up to the top of the playground and sat on the roof of a treehouse. "Color Blitz get down from there!" The owner scolded. "No way, Dumbotron 5000." "You are grounded for a week!" "Not like I would go anywhere besides my room and this boring playground." The owner gave up and walked inside. Meanwhile, Sky found a hole in the fence just big enough for her to fit through. "Blitz. Over here." She whispered. Blitz flew over to Sky. "Let's sneak out. Go explore outside for once." Blitz flew over the fence. Sky looked around, then slowly went out through the hole. Something hit her on the head. It was a necklace with a pink butterfly on it. "Cool!" Blitz had put on a dark red lightning bolt necklace. "What is going on.." Blitz's eyes glowed white, then she passed out. "Blitz!" Sky put her necklace on the ground, and went to Blitz. "Oh no. Oh no. Oh no." She circled Blitz, and tripped on a rock. Landing on top of her necklace. Which attached to her neck, and her eyes glowed white. And she passed out next to Blitz.
