Hearts of fire and ice

I woke to a pain in the side of my chest. Memory flooded back to me as if it was still happening, but when I looked to my left I only saw empty side of a room. Looking to my right, I saw more empty and dark parts of the room but I noticed I was not in the room alone - a cyan Pegasus with a rainbow mane was in the other side of the room.

I tried to get up but a extreme pain went trough the side of my chest and my left leg. I wanted to scream in pain, but all that came out was a very dry cough. Then I noticed how thirsty I was. I tried to use my magic, but my horn only gave a pathetic glow then went out. Then I heard voices near the cyan Pegasus and I noticed a door at her right. The door opened, streaming light in and I saw a unicorn mare trotting slowly to me.

I thought she would think I was dead she looked at me then noticed I was awake. She gasped, she ran and got a few other doctors and they also noticed I was awake.

After what seemed like forever one of the doctors gave me a glass of water. I finally was able to talk but the first doctor was in the room and the others had left the room.

"How much time has past while i was out?" I asked in a shallow raspy voice.

I waited for a while and she replied with a sigh "Five months" in a voice that was filled with fear thinking I might lash out at her.

"Why do you fear me? Because I have been out for five months my real concern is I have lost a friend in that fight." I whispered quietly in her ear. "But who is the mare Pegasus I am with and whats your name?" I questioned in a now normal voice.

"My name is nurse Red heart and the Pegasus mare you are with is called Rainbowdash but I never got to get your name," she answered in a normal voice.

"My name is Solar flame, but I like to be called Rastasi or Rust." I replied with a calm voice.

After a few days I left the hospital and went to the train to Ponyvill.

Luckily not many ponies noticed I was an allacon and I found a nice house to live in so I bought it. But when i went through my mind I saw that same Pegasus from the hospital on the train and I noticed that I also saw her at the library. I felt like reading.

After getting a few bits I headed to the library and went in. I noticed the librarian was a allacon as well.

"Hello, I am new to Ponyvill and I came to borrow a book" I said nicely to the purple allacon.

She turned and said in a nice calm tone "Hello, what book do you want?".

I looked around and picked a large book. I did not read the title.

"Do you know a Pegasus called Rainbowdash by any chance" I asked as the purple librarian noticed I was an allacon as well.

"Yes I do know her, she's one of my friends. I did not notice you were an allacon as well." she said as her expression of calm happiness changed to excited happiness but it all changed when she saw my clawed hoofs and a large hole with a Crystal that was slowly changing from a blood red to a diamond white

"What happened to you hoofs and why do you have a blood Crystal in your side?" she asked with a expression of pain on her face.

"I was in the war until I lost my friend and that's how I still have a Crystal in my side - to get blood back. And I had the claws forever. Just to add - my name is Solar Flare, but call me Rust or Rastasi. But where is miss Rainbow dash? I need to speak with her." I said kindly.

After a bit of talking and explaining many things, like my dead brother that was a dwarf pony that lived in the mountains near Ponyvill, she showed me to the guest room, where a cyan Pegasus mare was lying in a bed reading a book.

"Hi Twi, how you doing?" she said without leaving the book. I looked confused.

"Twi? Who is Twi?" I asked in a nice way to show how confused I was. The purple allacon was blushing.

"Dashi, some pony is hear to see you."  the librarian said with a blushing smile.

The Pegasus looked at the door and sniggered a little to see I was too big to fit.

"Hello, who are you?" she asked, still sniggering.

"Sorry, Twilight, for not saying your full name." in a tone of voice that I know was literary begging for forgiveness.

I finally spoke: "Hello, Miss Rainbowdash. Remember when you where in the Cantalot hospital? I was in the same room with you and to say my name is Solar Flare, but call me Rust or Rastasi."

I explained many things about me to both Twilight and Rainbowdash and I asked if she knew Derpy hoofs.

"Yes I know Derpy, she's a good friend and i think her sister's an allacon." Rainbow dash said. I finally managed to get through the door.

"I know her sister because I am her friend and I also know an allacon called GLaDOS. She was a pony, but now she is a mechanical pony. She was called Carolin and died as a pony but now she can't die. And I know there cutie marks - Chell's cutie marks are portals and calculating. And GLaDOS's cutie mark is the aperture science logo, and trust me she is a GIANT robot when she's at home!".

After a lot of talking I was exhausted and headed home with the book and fell asleep on the bed.
