Chapter One Hedgehogs are bad
"Gosh dang it," cursed one of the ponies," why won't you just hurry up and proceed with the stupid revealing spell?"
Twilight huffed and glared at the very rude pony who was interrupting her focus on the hedgehog reveal spells."
"I need to focus sir, and in order for me to do that you must be silent."
Once the offending jerk was silenced, Twilight tried to focus on her spell. She stared at the eyes of her boyfriend Sonic, who was in pony form so nobody got mad at him. Twilight had previously expressed her worry to the ponyhog about the spell, especially considering tat everyone was just so on edge from the hedgehog invasion, but Sonic assured her that he was fast enough to run away from the spell and make it back after it dissipated before anyone noticed him.
After she was done thinking, Twilight channeled all of her energy in her horn, using dark hedgehog magic to cast the spell, sending a big lazerwave shooting out all over the crowd. True to his word Sonic outran the blast. That's part of why she loved him so much, he was so cool and honest.
But suddenly Twilight's horn started to hurt. In fact her everything started to hurt, even her hooves. A bunch of hedgehog fire surrounded her and when it disappeared she was a purple hedgehog with perky hedgehog boobs and a different tail. Twilight was very scared, and she tried to run but unlike other hedgehogs she was very slow, especially for a hedgehog.
"Whoa, she was a hedgehog this whole time?" screamed the rude guy from before," let's kill her!"
"No please," Twilight screamed in a gross hedgehog screech," I'm not a hedgehog I swear, I'm Twilight Sparkle!"
Sonic returned to find that a purple hedgehog was being surrounded by a mop of angry ponies All of them eager to rip off her spines thus stripping her of her hedgehog magic.
Sonic was confused though. Why didn't the hedgehog just run? Hedgehogs are fast. Sonic didn't care, so he raced up to the stage, snatched Twilight(he doesn't know it's her though) and bailed before anyone could see him.
The ponies were very confused,"where did it go?"
"Hedgehogs are very fast," said one of the guards," so of course it got away."
Sadly a unicorn's magic is no match for hedgehog speed.
Sonic raced off to the Everfree with the purple hedgehog. He knew the ponies would be scared of the Everfree, but also that he could easily beat any bad creatures with his speed feet. Once he was deep enough in the forest he pressed the hedgehog button on his transformation watch and turned into a hedgehog.
"Thank you so much for saving me Sonic."
Sonic gaped at the other hedgehog,"how do you know my name?"
"It's me Twilight Sparkle, the woman of your dreams and I love you."
"You can't be Twilight Sparkle," replied Sonic, pushing Twilight away,"Twilight is not a hedgehog, not even a little bit."
"But look at me, I have the same eyes and hair."
"Probably a side effect from your hedgehog magic."
"But there are no side effects to hedgehog magic."
"Only a hedgehog would know that, checkmate."
Twilight grabbed Sonic's face and head and pulled them to her. She stared deep into Sonic's eyes.
"Sonic...it's me, please believe me. I love you more than the sun itself, and I need you right now. Most of my spines were ripped out and i have very little hedgehog magic as a result."
"Only Twilight would say something like that." Sonic said passionately," Okay, I believe you."
Twilight put her lips to Sonic's and they tongue kissed like a real couple. They sat and admired the darkness of the Everfree forest. Sonic and Twilight loved the dark. It reminded them of when they were alone, able to explore their baser urges, running and reading to heir respective hearts' content. Eventually they fell asleep in each other's arms, and dreampt of life with each other. Once Pony-hedgehog marriage was legalized, they would finally be able to live a happy life with a family and have it be legally officiated. Sadly that would be an after-effect of peace between ponies and hedgehogs, a peace that seemed more impossible every day.
Thankfully their sleep would go unmolested because both of them were hedgehogs, and everything in the Everfree is afraid of hedgehogs.
"Alright," cried a Ponyville guard,"keep searching ponies, we have to find that blasted hedgehog if we ever want to find the real Twilight Sparkle."
"That's right," said Applejack, who was working twice as hard as everyone else,"Twilight is the element of magic, we need her for defense purposes, in order to assure that negative outside forces of a malicious nature can never penetrate our defenses."
"Yeah, and she's our friend," interjected Rainbow Dash,"and without her our lives are but a cold friendless shell, crumbling in the eroding fabric of time."
Rainbow Dash then soared into the sky to get yet another eagle vision view of the situation. Still she saw nothing.
"This is stupid," she yelled to the rest of the mane six,"hedgehogs are really really fast, she could've been to Zebrica and back by now."
"Zebras are fast too Rainbow, and besides, we have the Wonderbolt's search squadron combing the other cities,"replied Applejack," we'll find the hedgehog, we'll find her if we have to tear Equestria apart."
