A strange dream indeed
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Huh? W-where am I?" Cadence asked herself. She was in an unknown place, frightened fearing for her life, then came a shadow coming forwards.
"Is that my little Cadenza?" The voice came. That voice belonged to the most majestic leader in known throughout the Crystal Empire, the one and only King Rubinus. It took a while for Cadence to figure out what was going on, but then a slow smile spread across her face.
"FATHER!" She cried with joy. She ran embracing him with a hug.
"How are you, aren't you...d-dead?" Cadence shivered. The great leader nodded sadly
"Yes I am, but that is not why I came to your dreams sweetie." He told her. Cadence eyes opened widely,
'I thought only Aunt Luna could enter dreams.' Cadence thought to herself. Carrying on, Rubinus told her
"Cadenza, I am so proud of you. I have watched over you ever since you left my hooves, you are doing well. That stallion you are telling your.. family history to, who is he?" Cadence giggled
"For somepony who watches over me you don't know who he is? Well... he's my husband Shining Armor." She told her father proudly. He smiled chuckling
"My daughter has a husband? You do grow up fast," Just then the scenery of where Cadence was started to blur up, Rubinus flying to the moon.
"Your doing well, and yes I can see your dreams." He winked. Those were the last words Cadence heard from him.
Cadence woke up sitting up, breathing heavily. Shining who sitting at his desk turned around.
"Honey, are you alright?" He asked.
"Don't leave." Cadence whimpered.
"Huh?" Shining didn't understand, but by the look of Cadence's face she didn't look fine. Tears started falling down, Shining leaped out of his chair to his wife.
"Hey, what's wrong, you can tell me... unless you don't trust me enough." He looked at her. This made Cadence splutter a laugh
"Hey, of course I trust you, your my soulpony, my husband. It's just... Send a letter to Canterlot, to Aunt Luna I must see her urgently." She ordered Shining. He gave her a confused look but did as he told. He knew never to question his wife at certain times.
Sending the letter with his magic he asked Cadence
"Babe, what's wrong, you can always tell me anything." Cadence gave out another sigh.
"My father... he visited me in the dream..."
"I thought only Luna could do that." Shining asked
"So did I but it proves not. That's why I want to go to Canterlot to see Aunt Luna."
