A small crowd of ponies watched an old gray pony screaming: Come one, come all! To the Tyran's Carnival! See creatures that you thought that only were in your nightmares! Some of group of ponies went to the old pony, to ask how much it was to enter. The old pony cheerfully answered: Five bits each, to see the most strange creatures you ever seen! The group talked for a while and after that, they decided to enter and give the gray pony the five bits for each of one that wanted to go. As they entered in the big red tent, passing by the old pony that was screaming again  at the top of his lungs, hoping to attract more customers. Some of the mares couldn't help but scream at the sight that was ahead of them. All types of misshapen ponies were in cages looking sad and bored. There were two hunchbacks, one dwarf, one pony with a face, that didn't even looked like a face and quite more. One of the colts noticed, in the corner, a single unicorn mare was facing the wall. At first, this particular mare looked normal. But if you looked closer you could see that her horn had been keen and she had marks of fighting all over her body. Major of them were just scratches, but a huge wound could be seen in one of her hind legs as if she had been fighting with a lion. Her coat was blue as a winter night and her mane was wavy and of a pale blue. The colt abandoned his friends that were laughing at one of the dwarfs and went to see the blue mare. As he got closer he saw her ears moving as if she was hearing him approaching her. When the colt was right in front of the cage he noticed her body getting tense and her ears stopped moving. Hey, Brawny! - said a yellow unicorn with brown mane - What are you doing there? Just seeing if this one turns around, Charmer. - said Brawny. The others got curious and went to see the blue mare as well. Why she doesn't turn around? Don't worry guys! - said Charmer - I'll turn her around. Charmer's horn was ready when one of the mares interrupted him: What if she's ugly like that pegasus? - said a mare with pale coat and pink mane. There is only way to find out! - said Charmer with an evil smile. Charmer used his magic to turn the unicorn around. She tried to fight back but she was to weak to resist much time. When she turned around, some of ponies in the group gasped. As for her eyes had no colour and the only emotion you could see in them was fright. She's kinda cute. - said Charmer, still holding her with his magic - But still weird. Does she talk? - asked a colt. Charmer shaken the poor mare until she screamed: Leave me alone! Yep. - said Brawny - She talks, now, Charmer, let her be. Charmer seem annoyed by his friend's request but stopped shaking the mare. The mare let out a whimper and turned around again. Some time later, the group leave the carnival and Brawny was not happy that he had spent his money to help that blasted freak show to continue and he wondered if he ever would see the blue mare again in other situation. At midnight some colts closed the entrance to the tent and turned off the lights leaving everything in total darkness and quiet. The blue unicorn sighed and layed down to sleep. The mare's name was Bling and she was blind. She was not considered a freak but she was treated as such and the owner of the carnival, Tyran, used her for illegal fighting. She was always to weak to use magic so her horn was like a weapon, the only thing she could use besides her hearing. She was blind ever since she could remember. Unfortunately, she was in that place as long as she could remember, too. Everyday was the same. She waked up, barely ate unless before the fights, tried to not attract the attention from the other ponies and not to cry. It was always worse for her if  she cried. The ponies would laugh and trow things and the others that worked there, would beat her up. Bling couldn't hep but notice that the first colt was the only one that didn't laugh or screamed at any of the ponies. Maybe he had attended the carnival for a dare. It wouldn't be the first time. Hours later, Bling was in a dreamless sleep when she heard screams: RUN Bling recognized the voices as the ponies that worked there. They sound like they were in panic and quickly, a different smell entered into her nostrils. Smoke. Bling heard the voices starting to sound more distant and the sound of fire consuming everything that it passed. Oh, hell. - thought Bling - They're going to leave us here! The other ponies that were in cages started to panic too. Sounds of hooves were all around her. Bling couldn't just stand there and let the fire kill everyone without a fight! She couldn't see, but she still had strength. And so, with all of her strength she kicked the cage's bars, trying to find the padlock. She couldn't help but smile when she felt the padlock and kicked it until it broke. Some of the other ponies saw Bling and did the same. When she noticed, all of the ponies were out of the cages, some for the first time in their lives, and already running way from the flames and the carnival. Bling was able to get out with the help of one of the hunchbacks, named Toodle Doo. Outside, she fled way with Toodle Doo but the others were nowhere in sigh. Seems we have to walk by ourselves. - said Toodle Doo - Are you okay, Bling? I'm fine. But this smoke is horrible, let's go! Toodle noded as him and Bling started to run away for the carnival, hopefully, forever.
