Chapters Rainbow dance of dreadfulness
Long ago, there was a pony, by the name of Dread Maker, whom ponies called the pony of fear. Ponies feared her due to her threatening them by saying "If you dare try to turn me in, this tutu will curse you for eternity.". Ponies kept not going near her castle in concept fear of the consequences. However, one day, a pony came and entered his castle As soon as Dread Maker was about to put it on the pony, she was stopped by the mysterious pony and died upon defeat
Many days have passed, and details about Dread remain anonymous. days and nights have passed. Ponies say her castle became haunted with her spirit.
However, nopony knows what ever happen to Dread Makers cursed tutu, some say it disappeared, some say he hid it, some say it vanish. Noone to this day knows what happened to it, and where its being held. However, it all changed upon this very day...
Rainbows fantasy and the merchant
In Ponyville, in a cloudhouse, Rainbow is seen sleeping in her bed. and a book lying by her side. A picture of a lavender Alicorn was seen on the night stand near the bed. At this point, The pegasus woke up shock and gasping, What a nightmare. Rainbow thought to herself as she was rubbing her eyes as she looked at the clock. She then realized she didn't have weather patrol duty today, it was her free day. She then got up and fed her pet tortoise, and proceeded to make a cup of coffee. She then sat down and looked outside. Man, a good day today, I guess that means me and Twilight would be having are little special day today. Rainbow thought to herself.
At that moment, she drank her cup of coffee and smiled to herself. usually, Rainbow never felt like in these moods ever since she was a filly living with her parents in Cloudsdale. But what was on her mind, was something she knew she had kept a secret from the public. She had a fantasy. A fantasy, like no other. She had interest in dancing in a tutu. To Rainbow, she knew this was the only thing she never wanted any pony to find out about. It was the only not cool thing she like
As she finished her coffee, she put the cup in the sink and washed it.She then sighed. "Ugh, I want to live my fantasy." She said.
At that moment, she decided to dance. As she dance, she then felt something was missing. Something that would make it fun. She stopped dancing and sighed. As she looked outside, she saw the town, and something caught her eye. A traveling merchant was in town. But, what caught her attention, besides what was on sale, was another thing that was on sale. It was a pink tutu.
As Rainbow looked back, she began to imagine herself wearing it while in her home. She giggled and smile. "That's it, I will buy that." She said to herself.
Deciding not to hesitate, she got her bits, and got prepared to go to town. As she left, she had to make sure to not let any of her friends know about her secret. She then took off and head to ponyville. As she was flying, she began to think to herself. She knew she didn't do this in secret in a long time ever since she was a filly. She remembered she tried her best to hide it from her mom and dad.
At that moment, she approached the town. She saw Applejack at the market, which she had to be aware of her. At that moment, she approached the merchant. The merchant was a unicorn mare, with a light blue coat, and a red and orange mane. She looked at Rainbow. She was surprised, it seemed she got a customer. "Oh, you must want to buy what I have?" She said nicely
Rainbow nodded
"Well, I have a lot of good things. What would you like to buy?"
Rainbow then pointed at the pink tutu. At that moment, she used her magic and bought it to the counter. "Oh, this. Well, to tell you, a strange pony gave it to me. I washed it and got it prepared to be sold. But, you don't like a type of mare that is interested in this. May I ask why?" She asked
"Well.... its my fantasy... I uh... you know, don't want others to know."
"Ah, so you do it in secret, I get ya. Well, it costs 25 bits."
Rainbow nodded and got the bits and paid the mare. She then handed it to Rainbow, and Rainbow smiled. "Thank you miss." Rainbow thanked.
"My name is Stock Sales."
"Rainbow Dash."
Stock nodded and smiled. "Thank you for your purchase Ms. Dash. If you ever want to find me, I'll be in Canterlot."
Rainbow nodded and then took off for home. Stock remained in Ponyville to continue selling for the hour.
Beginning of the curse
Back at Rainbows house. Rainbow could be heard laughing in her bedroom. She just put on the pink tutu ten minutes ago and was dancing. On her bed were plushies of the wonderbolts. Rainbow was dancing like crazy, doing pirouettes and spins, and lot of other moves. She missed doing this.
As an hour passed, and Rainbow decided to take the tutu off. As she tried to pull the tutu off, she felt something. It felt like it was stuck on her. Rainbow then tried to pull it down again, no luck. She tried a third time, nothing happened. At this point she tried to cut it off, but the scissors did nothing. "Wh-what the?" Rainbow said flabbergasted.
She then tried to pull it off again. "Ugh, come on, ugh, why won't you come off?"
As she let go, she started to pant. It was stuck. She then started to feel scared. She is supposed to meet Twilight at 3pm, but this started to not go right. Rainbow knew She can't go outside in a pink tutu, she'll get laughed at.
But, as it was all to quick, for an unknown reason what so ever. Rainbow started to dance. Rainbow wasn't moving her legs on her own. It made her feel like she was a puppet. For an unknown reason, Rainbow began to try to stop herself, but couldn't. "Somepony, help." Rainbow cried. But no reply. However, she then started to dance towards the door. It now made her feel fear. "No, no. Somepony, help!"
Elsewhere
In Canterlot, Celestia, and Discord were seen in the dinning hall of Canterlot palace. They were seen eating. Since the incident with Tirek fully reformed him, and everypony forgave him, he resided at Canterlot palace until his estate was made.
During the time they were eatting, Discord was talking to Celestia about his plans about heading to ponyville due to a promise hangout with Fluttershy. Knowing Celestia, Celestia felt happy that Fluttershy was Discords first friend and reformed him to vowing to use his chaos for good.
However, feeling like its all sudden, Discord felt weird. He was breathing heavily, and dropped his glass of Chocolate milk. The guards, and Celestia noticed, and Celestia ran to Discord side. "Discord, are you okay?" Celestia said in a worried tone.
At this point, Discord looked like he felt something weird. As it was to quickly, he realize it was something dealing with a pony he knew in the past. A pony he knew before his reign of Chaos. He couldn't believe it. "Oh no." Discord said in shock.
"What is it Discord."
"I...It can't be. I thought that was long gone."
"What?"
"It's a pony I know who is wearing a cursed tutu. How can it be still around?"
Celestia rose an eyebrow. She knew Discord love playing pranks, but is thinking this is one of em. "Are you pranking me?" Celestia asked with a smirk.
"Save your humor for later Celestia. Rainbow is in danger. She just wore Dreads cursed tutu for for a whole hour. This is bad."
Celestia looked confused "Dread?"
Discord then explained who Dread was. As he explained, Celestia eyes rose in horror. She didn't remember that type of pony. As she listened, she could tell Discord wasn't lying, he was telling the truth. As he concluded his story of Dread, Celestia was stunned. In her years of being princess of Equestria, she never knew a pony would do such a thing, even creating a indestructible item. Her first thought was to tell Twilight, but see in Rainbow is cursed, She had no choice. Unfortunately for he, she had to have Discord do it. She told Discord to go gather Twilights friends, and get Rainbow.
Discord nodded and left. He had to do this. He had to do it for his friends. Celestia now was hopping for them to find the counter spell.
Getting Rainbow
Discord then appeared in front of Fluttershys cottage. Knowing this is now a important matter. He had to gather his friends and call an emergency meeting at Twilight palace. Knowing that Rainbow is in trouble with the cursed tutu, he had to go to Fluttershy to have her gather the others.
As he approached the door. He knocked on it. "Fluttershy? Are you home?" Discord asked.
At that point, Fluttershy opened the door and saw Discord. She put a smile on her face and hugged Discord. She hasn't seen him since Tirek was on the service. As she looked at him, she continued to smile. "You came to have some time for tea and cooked?" Fluttershy asked with a squee.
"Sadly Fluttershy, we have to cancel our promised tea time. a serious matter just happened."
Fluttershy looked curious.
"I need you to gather your friends. Something serious just happened."
Fluttershy gasped in surprise. This was all sudden, even since what they been through with the whole Tirek mess. It was like time was flying fast. "What happened?" Fluttershy asked
"I'll explain when you get your friends to Twilights palace."
"I'l go get Rainbow Dash first..."
"Leave her to me. go get the others and go to Twilights palace."
Knowing Discord, Fluttershy knew she had to listen. She told her critters she had to go out. She then ran her way to go get her friends. Discord, however teleported to Rainbows location. As he teleported to where she was he gasped. "Oh no." He said. He then walked up to Rainbow, whom was dancing and she saw him. "Is that you Discord?" Rainbow said surprised.
"The one and only." Discord Replyed as he caused a mirror to appear and looked into it.The Mirror cracked as he said, "Hmm, looks like I need to shave."
"Ugh, No time for games Discord. Can you please help?"
Discord then used his magic to vanish the mirror. He knew their was no time to goof around. It was a serious issue. He knew that he had to bring Rainbow to Twilights palace. He then walked up to Rainbow and used his magic to grab her, which stopped the dancing due to her being grabbed by magic. "Rainbow, I need to take you to Twilights palace." He said in a serious tone.
Are you crazy? I'm not going there in this."
"Do you want the tutu off or not? I have to bring you Twilights palace. I will explain about it, you also need to know. Unless you want that stuck on you forever."
Rainbow then remained silent. She began to wonder, Does Discord know something about it? Knowing that she needed answers, she had no other choice. Discord then grabbed her and teleported.
Discords story
At the palace, The mane 5 were waiting. This was unexacting. They weren't expecting something to happen, even after what happened with the Tirek mess. During the time, they began to wonder what was going on, and why Discord had to get Rainbow.
At that point, A flash happened, and Discord appeared. He saw that everypony was there. He let out a relief. Twilight looked at Discord with a look of confusion. She felt like Discord did something and hid it from them, like when Ponyville was being overrun by Plunder vines and the tree of harmony wilting. "Why did you call us Discord?" Twilight asked all confused.
"It's Rainbow." Discord said as she shown Rainbow.
"Were you invading privacy?"
"No, you don't understand, Rainbow got cursed and bound to that tutu. It's cursed."
The mane 6, even Rainbow Dash gasped. "What?" they all said.
At that moment, Discord put Rainbow to the ground and used his magic to make Rainbow stay in place. To Rainbow, it seemed Discord was doing it so she doesn't move around uncontrollably. Rainbow knew that she had to thank Discord for doing it. But she had to let him explain what was happening to her. "It's a curse from Dread Maker." Discord said
Twilight rose her eyebrow. She wasn't familiar with the name. She never heard of a pony by that name. No record of that pony was seen in any of the books in the library before it was destroyed. It almost felt like that pony remained Anonymous “Who?” Twilight said.
At this point, Discord pulled out an adress book. He then put on his glasses, and went through the book. As he went through it, he was saying names of ponies, or other beings. As he went through the d’s he the mane 6 were waiting for what he finds. At that moment, he found the page. “Ah, here it its, Dread.”
Discord then cleared his throat and began to read.
Dread Maker was a unicorn mare whom was very evil. During her life, she was well known as the pony of fear. The reason for her nickname was because ponies feared to go near her castle in the outskirts of fillydelphia. She threatened ponies with a pink tutu that she made and cursed with a eternity spell, and made it indestructable. Ponies feared her and the tutu due to its cursed. One pony however managed to break in to her castle, and when they were threaten, they ended Dread whom died due to magic shots. However, it is said that she created a counter spell and hid it in her castle. It is now said that her castle is haunted by her ghost, and threatens anypony who goes there.
Upon finishing, the mane 6 were shocked. Dread Maker was a pony who used forbidden spells, and illegal spells. That had to be most surpising thing. But, the most shocking thing, was the fact the tutu was cursed. The five then saw Rainbow trembling. They could tell she was scared now. “NO!, there has to be a way to take this off. I dont want to be stuck wearing this.” Rainbow said shakily
At that point Twilight walked up to Rainbow and put a hoof on her shoulder, and hugged her. Even though this was serious, she didnt want to see her friend have a nervous breakdown. As she was calming Rainbow down, Applejack looked at Discord in concern. “What will happen to her? What are the curses effects?” Applejack asked curiously
“Sadly….. I’m not sure, All I know is that that tutu is cursed. You will find out. All I know is she has 72 hours until the curse is complete and…….and….”
“And what?”
“She’ll fall into the abyss of it, and lose consciousness and she’ll be gone.”
At this point, Twilight turned and looked at Discord. This now just became a race against time. Twilight knew other spells wont work, since it has one counter spell and one only. Without hesitating, she looked at Discord. “Come with us, we need to find the castle.” Twilight insisted
“Oh hoho no no no. I’m not going there. I dont want to be trapped there. Besides I vowed not to return their after something happened.”
Applejack crooked an eyebrow and looked at him. Judging by his voice, she can tell he was terrified of going there. Knowing him, she knew he wont let his guard down easily. However, Discord gave em a map with the location of Dread Makers castle. Discord released Rainbow, whom started dancing. At that point, Twilight realize they would have to deal with it.
As they were getting prepared for their trip to find the counter spell, Fluttershy asked Spike to take care of the critters while shes gone, Rarity had to close down her shop, Pinkie had the week off, Applejack told Big Mac to take care of the work for her while she is gone, and Twilight had to make her palace off limits while she was gone.
The mane 6 then headed to the train station, and got tickets. They were now going, on a journey, to save their friend.
Rainbow dance of dreadfulness
The Train ride was going smoothly. Unlike when they found out Rainbow was cursed, Rainbow managed to regain control over her body. It seemed like the curse kicks in and out during period of time. However, they knew in order to find Dread Makers castle, they had to ask the residents of Fillydelphia first.
On the Train, Rainbow was sitting next to Twilight. However, Twilight noticed Rainbow was tugging on the tutu to take it off. It seemed Rainbow wanted it off badly. Twilight used her magic and stopped Rainbows hoofs. “Rainbow! tugging on it wont do you good. It needs the counter spell.” Twilight said quickly
“Who cares about the counter spell?” Said Rainbow till she covered her mouth in astonishment.
“Rainbow...why did you say that?” Twilight said shocked.
“I don’t know, I don’t know why I said that. What’s happening to me?!”
Rainbow’s condition was starting to look worse as her way of saying things is starting to sound not like Rainbow herself. The group began to worry as they sat there on the train wondering if she will be alright. After a while they reached to the station of Fillydelphia and proceeded out of the train. Twilight announced after exiting the train,
“Alright everypony, Rainbow needs help so no time for games. We need to find anypony that might give us some insight on this curse or anything relevant. I want you all to spread out and search in pairs. Applejack and Rarity you take the east, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy the west, I’ll take the south along with Rainbow. When you have asked enough or have learned something important meet us at this station. We’ll meet up in a possible hour or less, we don’t want everypony getting lost and more time will be used up trying to find everypony. Ready?”
They all nodded in agreement as they paired up, Twilight then says “Lets go!” as they all went to the three corners of the town.
Some time later
30 minutes has passed since they split up. Team Rarijack has looked around most of the marketing area but nothing, Team FlutterPie hasn’t really been doing a lot aside from trying to say something or from scaring most of the ponies, Team Twidash has had some progress.
“Thanks again.” Twilight said as a pony closed his door. “After all that and still nothing. Somepony has to have something that might help, Rainbow can you…” Twilight Looked over to see Rainbow still dancing but not able to get a lot of other pony’s attention. “Rainbow, you okay?” She asked worriedly.
“I’m perfectly fine...why do you worry?”
“Rainbow, are you sure?”
“Of Course Not Twilight! I’m dancing like a mad mare! Its great and all but I don’t want to do this.”
At that point, Twilight then noticed, Fluttershy and Pinkie running up to them, along with Rarity, and Applejack. To Twilight, she seem to see the look on Fluttershy and Pinkies face. They might of found some pony with info. As the reached the two, Fluttershy came up. “Twilight, we found somepony with information about this Dread pony.” Fluttershy said turthly.
“Really, where?”
“On the west side of town, we’ll show you.”
Knowing they need information, they decided to find this pony who knows something about Dread. they then decided to follow Fluttershy to the west. After a little bit Fluttershy has made it to the house where a pony was waiting there by the door. They approached the pony hoping to learn something. “Are you the pony that knows about Dread?” Twilight asked.
“yes Dearie and I can see the haunting clothing your Rainbow friend is wearing” She pointed at Rainbow who is still dancing without end. “Please come in, come in.” She says as she opened the door for the Mane 6 to enter. As they walked in, well minus one danced in, Fluttershy thanked the mare for her Kindness. Twilight, not wasting time, decided to ask her name. “So um.. i’m sorry what’s your name?”
“Why its Antique Trinket, but you can call me Anti dears”
The girls then introduced themselves, and Twilight had to introduce Rainbow. When they finished introducing themselves, Anitque then cleared her throat and looked at them. “I guess you asked around town, and no one wanted to say anything, correct?” Antique asked.
“Yes, but why is that? Why is the town so afraid of that Dread pony? If you mind me asking.” Fluttershy asked while hiding behind her mane.
“Well, the reason is is because this town had what we call “History” with Dread. Apparently, ponies are afraid of going to her castle because in the past, she threaten any pony with the very clothing Rainbow Dash is wearing.”
“Uh, does that include stallions, if so, that’ll be generally creepy and absolutely disgusting.” Rarity said in surprise.
Antique let a little chuckle out, and looked back. “Why of course not. She didn’t do that. However, her past remain hidden to this day. However, it is known mares were seen dancing and as they entered Dreads castle and they disappear, never heard from again, never seen again.”
The mane 6 gasped. A castle that causes ponies to disappear, that really frighten them. But as they listened, they could tell that she wasn’t lying, even when she said the castle is said to be haunted by Dread Makers ghost. As time went on they listen to her tale, even Rainbow whom stopped dancing at some point. As they were listening, Pinkie looked at Rainbow Dash, however, something caught her eye, Rainbows Cutie Mark, it had changed from a Cloud with a Rainbow lightning bolt, to a Pink ballet shoe. Pinkie Gasped. “Girls, look at Rainbows cutie mark!” Pinkie said.
The Group looks at the Rainbow’s Cutie mark to now see it has fully changed. At this point Rainbow start to not only panic but cry as well knowing the curse is overwriting her life. With her strength in control she fell to the floor crying with doubt in her mind. Twilight and the others tries their best to calm and cheer up Rainbow as Twilight Hugs Rainbow deeply and decided to make a promise she’ll keep, “Rainbow, I promise that no matter what, everything is going to be alright. Through Thick and Thin we’ll be there...I’ll be there for you.”
Rainbow then looks up to Twilight with red teary eyes as she said while sobbing, “You will?”
“I will” Twilight says as she gave Rainbow a nice light kiss to the cheek.
Anti couldn’t help but feel bad but also happy for Rainbow, “You have great friends Rainbow and even a great marefriend, Never forget that.” She says openly as Rainbow slowly got up and was feeling better now that she has composure.
After a few minutes to get her thoughts together she explained that the Castle is a big trip and getting to the castle will take at least one day. Twilight asked if there were anyway of speed up the process but there were none even with flying. Anti Warned them that the path is full of steep hills and small areas of rocky terrain. However, Anti warned them about the curse, and if the third day reaches its end, the curse would complete itself, and will be irreversible. She then suggested the mane 6 to grab some camping gear from the store and food for the trip. The mane 6 then bidded farewell, and went to the store.
Trip to the castle and camp
Time was going by as the mane 6 got prepared for their trip. Twilight bought some food, and cider, while Rainbow waited outside. Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie went to buy the camping gear.
As they finished, they headed to the path where it be quick to reach the castle. Rainbow ended up dancing, while the others walked, which they had to deal with due to the curse.
They were going through steep hills, and had to be aware of the surroundings. As they ventured forward they did stumble across a couple of roadblocks to their destination. Lucky for them, Twilight removed the roadblock and continued their journey.
As the day reached night, the girls then setted up camp. They had a long day due to what happened, and they decided to call it a night. They then decided to eat and talk to one another. Rainbow then revealed that the real reason she bought the tutu, without knowing it was the cursed one. They however accepted Rainbow secret.
When it came time for them to hit the hay, Twilight and Rainbow decided to share their tent with each other. As they were about to sleep, Twilight noticed Rainbow looking down, she felt like Rainbow was scared. Twilight then wrapped a wing over Rainbow, and began to nuzzle her. “Relax Rainbow, we will find a counter spell.” Twilight murmured.
“But, what if the counter spell works, and the effects are permanent?”
“Rainbow, if that happens, I promise you, I’ll help you adjust to it if that happens.”
Rainbow then smiled at Twilight. She then decided to get some rest. She was scared, but she needed to be brave and pray that the counter spell works. At that very moment, Twilight and Rainbow then fell asleep, but Rainbow, didn’t realizes something was bound to happen in her sleep.
Rainbow’s Nightmare
In Rainbows Sleep, she was sleeping soundly. Her body wasn’t moving, or dancing. As she slept, she was sleeping peacefully, until she started moving in fear. In Rainbows dream, she was in a white room, nopony was in there. Nopony, but her. At that moment, she heard what seemed to be creepy music. The most creepiest music ever. It was till then she realized it was a creepy version of what sounds to be ballet music, Sounding all distorted and messed up. It send shivers on her spine. What the hay? Rainbow thought to herself
at that moment, she saw a figure appear in front of her. It was a pony, but as a ghost. The pony appeared to be purple, with a scary mane style, red eye irises, and what seemed to be the cursed tutu as a cutie mark. “Well, it seems you’re the one with my cursed tutu on?” The pony snickered
“Who... who are you?”
The pony chuckled. “You will find out who I am soon enough Miss Dash.”
This then send chills down Rainbows body. The pony somehow knew Rainbows name. But what’s more shocking, she said Rainbow would find out who she is. At this point, the pony’s horn began to glow and all of a sudden, Rainbow was somewhere where she didn’t expect, a dance studio, and worse, the music kept getting creepier. Rainbow then tried to run, but as she did, she somehow began to dance. At that very moment, the mysterious pony began to laugh twistedly and gazed at Rainbow. “You can’t run, you’re in my world now. When we meet, you’ll will be given a decision. Enjoy your time.” Her cackling laugh shrieked as she disappears leaving Rainbow to dance while she sobbed and cried.
After that horrible nightmare Rainbow Awoke with sweat and tears for the worse, as she catches her breath she noticed that the others are still asleep so it must be still nightime she thought but the one question that bothered her the most…”You’ll be given a Decision…….” She whispered as she looked up to the starry night with a troubled look, for what’s to come when it’s time...
Rainbow dance of dreadfulness
When the mane 6 woke, up they kicked the morning off by having breakfast. They were going to continue their trip to Dreads castle. Realizing it was day two, they knew they had to move, because Antique mentioned that once the third day reaches it’s end, the curse is complete. They then got their camping gear all packed, and got started to continue their trip.
During the trip, Rainbow was dancing like a mad mare due to the curse. However, the mane 6 saw that Rainbow was a little tired. It look like she couldn’t sleep at all last night. They first began to think the curse made her dance in the middle of the night, but that didn’t happen. As Rainbow regain her body control, Twilight saw Rainbows face. She looked half asleep. “Rainbow, did you sleep okay?” Twilight asked.
“I’m alright Twilight.”
Twilight cocked an eyebrow. She was hiding something. Something she didn’t want Twilight to know. “Rainbow, tell me. Please.” Twilight begged.
Rainbow then sighed. She knew she would be forced to tell. She began to tell them about the most creepiest dream she had last night. As she began to tell them, they gasped at what they heard. But, when Rainbow revealed that the pony said You’ll be given a decision”, they were creeped out. What was the pony trying to say? Alot of questions were going through their minds at that time. However, they were shocked to learn the pony didn’t reveal their name.
As they were going forward, they noticed that they were getting close to the mountain. According to the map that Twilight had, Dreads Castle was not that far from the mountains. They began to estimate that by how fast they are moving, they will be able to reach dreads castle by sundown. As they were walking on the mountain, they began to notice alot of writings on the mountain walls. Some said “Beware of Dread”, “Don’t enter Dread’s Castle”, and “Turn back”.
As Fluttershy noticed the writing, she got scared. it felt like the ponies in the past were really terrified of Dread. It almost seemed like that Dread was a female Sombra, but different. One part of her wanted to turn back and head back to ponyville, while the other wanted her to help Rainbow.
When they got to the top, they then saw something in the distance. Something surprising. It was a castle, and it was not that far from the mountains. Twilight did some calculations and she predicted that they would be able to reach the Castle around Midnight.
They then decided to sit down and have some lunch. Rainbow had control of her body to eat. As they ate, Twilight had her wing around Rainbow as she eaten. “So, Rainbow. Why didn’t you tell us about your fantasy, and love for ballet?” Twilight asked.
“It was too embarrassing for me to admit this especially a pony like me being the “Tomboy” pony that I am. I got tired and wanted something new so I thought of this fantasy. Even one time, I tried to sign up for ballet classes, but got scared.” Rainbow admitted this with all the truth as Twilight put a wing around.
“There’s nothing wrong with trying something new, In fact I think it looks cute on you.”
“Are you saying, you like it that, I fantasize about being a ballerina?”

Rainbow Blushed on her comment as they finish lunch, most of the other ponies are noticing their little cute moment together and couldn’t help but daww at Twilight and Rainbow kissing and in making Rainbow blush a new coat color. As they ventured to the Castle which is steadily getting closer they begin to feel chills down their spines for how big the Castle was getting bigger as they speak. It was 11:00 pm and they cleared the mountains, dancing and all. After an hour they have Reached around 2 miles from the Castle, and decided to set up camp for the night. Twilight then setted up her and Rainbows tent, and got in. As they got in, she noticed Rainbow, yet again stopped dancing at night. She deducted that the dancing part is only effected during the day. Without wasting time, they decided to go to sleep.
Castle of Dread
It is now, the third day, and the mane 6 had to move fast, they only have 24 hours left until the curse is fully complete. Wanting to no waste anytime, the mane 6 decided to eat quickly and head to dreads castle.
As they ventured further, they began to notice the castle. It was a big castle. Unlike Twilights, it looked like a castle that has been abandoned for years. There were broken bricks, holes on the walls, and many cobwebs even at the outside the castle They guessed it was because Dread was murdered by a pony who went in her castle during her final moments of being alive. At that moment, Rainbow began to shiver. She remembered when she went to Celestia and Luna’s castle with Applejack thinking the pony of shadows existed. However, they remember Antique Trinket saying that Dreads ghost haunts the castle, and making anypony disappear.
As they entered the building, they noticed that the inside used to be what they guess a beautiful castle, but is falling apart. However, they then heard what seemed to be an organ playing. Upon hearing this, the mane 6 jumped and caused Rainbow to stop dancing. Feeling the need to investigate and find out where the counterspell is, they began to search the library part of the castle, which was Twilights idea. When they searched the library, no counter spell was there in any of the books. They then searched the bedroom. As they entered, Fluttershy shrieked and the girls nearly vomited at what they found. What they found, was to most disturbing thing that can make them lose their lunch.. On the floor, was a skeleton of a pony, and around it was dried up blood. They wanted to ignore it but the scene was too gruesome to even take their eyes off. As they searched the room, they began to search every part of the room. Yet again no luck.
They then decided to check the main room. As they walked to the main room, the music began to get creepy. It kinda made Rainbow feel weird. Twilight noticed. “Rainbow, what's wrong?” Twilight asked.
“I heard this music in my dream. The one about the decision.”
As they headed to the main room, they began to search high and low. As they were searching, they then heard a voice. A voice that sounded ghost like. It sent chills up their spines as they heard the voice. It was the most freakiest thing they heard.
At that moment, a chilly breeze came and something formed in front of them. Something they fought that only existed in stories, but were stunned to know that they exist, a ghost of a pony. Its appearance was a disturbing purple mare with a black and gray mane that stuck up in the air. Rainbow then recognized the pony, she was the one from her dream. she couldn’t believe it. “Go away, Go away. Get out of my castle…..Well well well, a pony who likes ballet.” the pony said while gazing at them.
At this point, Fluttershy used her stare on it. “Give us the counterspell now.”
“Hm what now, I don’t have no idea what you are talking about. But, since you are here young one who has a fantasy of ballet and being a ballerina, You’ll be given your decision now..” The pony said as she used her magic to pull Rainbow to the center. “Now, join me, and forever live your fantasy, to no longer be judged or to be alone. Or you can return to your world that would laugh at your decision not caring for what you want. Always being the outcast for your judgement…...Choose.” The ghost’s words we’re threatening to her, but to Rainbow she had a point. If she says no and returns she may never get her life back but if she chooses her new life she would never be alone with this desire. Rainbow was looking at both the ghost and her friends…………..this was a choice that could be drastic on both ends but….which one is right? and which one is wrong? After a moment she has made her decision.
“....okay i’m ready.” Rainbow says as both her friends and the Ghost listened carefully.
At that point, Twilight, and the mane 4 were looking at Rainbow who was choosing between the ghost, and her friends. Twilight began to sweat. This had to be the most crazy thing that happened. Knowing that a ghost, a dead pony that was murdered in the castle, was giving Rainbow, who had a cursed tutu on, two choices. “Rainbow, choose us. Please, we’re marefriends. You’re the element of loyalty. Don’t side with that pony, side with us.” Twilight said.
“Don’t listen to them, you’ll be mocked. Join me, and you’ll live your fantasy forever.”
At this point Rainbow was now shivering at the choices. This felt like an arcade game to her where she had to choose a path. she then closed her eyes. I’m sorry. Rainbow thought. as she regained her senses, she then gulped, looked and began to say who she chosed.
“I choose….you”
Rainbow dance of dreadfulness
In the castle, the mane 5, and the ghost were waiting for Rainbow to make her decision. As they heard Rainbow say I choose you, they began to sweat bullets. At that very moment, the mane 5 eyes widen in horror. Rainbow, their beloved friend, and the element of loyalty, was walking to the ghosts side. As Rainbow approached the ghost, The ghost smiled. “Wise decision, wise decision. you sided with I, Dread Maker.” Dread said smiling.
At this point, Twilight was now breaking down. tears were flowing from her eyes. Rainbow just chose to be living her fantasy over her friends. Twilight felt like Rainbow just tore her heart and broke it into many pieces. “R-r-r-rainbow. Why?” Twilight sobbed
“I’m sorry Twilight.”
At that point, Pinkies mane deflated, Fluttershy was sobbing up a storm, Applejack was stunned, and Rarity was shocked. They all felt betrayed. Dread walked up. She then said that Rainbow now decided to be with her, and ordered the mane 4 to leave her castle. The mane 4 left, crying, and heartbroken at the lost of their friend. As they were gone, a door appeared out of thin air and showed some sort of portal. “Lets go.” Dread said.
Rainbow, without thinking, followed Dread into the door. As they entered Rainbow was stunned at what she saw. What she saw what seemed to be a ballet studio. The color she saw was pink, pink everywhere. It felt like a heaven for her. But why wasn’t it evil. As she looked at Dread, she noticed that her look changed. She was now a tan mare, with a beautiful black mane and tail, a horn, and a pink ballet shoe as a cutie mark. Dread smiled. “Welcome to your new home.” Dread said with a friendly tone
“MY NEW HOME! YOU MADE ME BETRAY MY FRIENDS!.”
“What? I thought you wanted to join the dimension so you can dance like a ballerina freely without being judged?”
“No, we came here, to your castle, because we were looking for the counterspell for this cursed tutu of yours.”
At this point Dread crocked an eyebrow. “Wait hold on, cursed tutu. I only know of one, and it’s locked away…..! Oh no…. Rainbow, follow me. I need to show you something.” Dread said as she raced through the door.
Rainbow crocked an eye brow. Something just happened to Dread as Rainbow mentioned the cursed tutu. It felt like Dread was hiding something. Rainbow then followed Dread as they arrived back at the castle. Dread then instructed Rainbow to pull the unlit torch, and she did. Upon pulling it, a secret room was revealed. in the secret room, was a safe. Rainbow follow dread into the room and Dread looked at Rainbow. “Many years ago I hid one of the worst items i've ever created because of a mishap, the tutu you’re wearing might be that item. I want you to open this safe, the comb is 13-7-24, Push in and turn right.” Dread said.
Rainbow, not knowing what was going on, was confused. Why is Dread being nice to her? She is an evil pony that caused mares to disappear. But why is she curious about the tutu? Wasting no time Rainbow entered the code. After entering the code, she opened the safe. “Well, do you see anything?” Dread asked
“It’s...empty?”
“I’ve been stolen from?! Oh nonononono, Okay come with me back in the Dimension and I'll explain once we are in there. I will clear my history to you, I promise.”
Rainbow nodded and followed Dread back to the door. Rainbow was now about the get the answer. As they enter the dimension, Dread took Rainbow to what seem to be a bedroom. As she got in, she locked the door, and looked at Rainbow. “Now, to tell you, I’m not evil. Apparently ponies mistook me for being evil due to my name. My real identity is that I am a Ballet Instructor, helping other ponies with the art of Dancing. But later in my years I was fired from my career due to my name, but it never stopped me so I created this Castle to help in my own way for the ponies who wanted my help. However rumors have been going around and i’ve been oust as a witch because of my name. During one of my experiments I heard an explosion as I was creating a ballet tutu but thanks to that I ended up creating the most dangerous artifact, a cursed tutu. Knowing this I hid the tutu in a safe so it would never fall into anypony’s hooves. but days later without warning my castle was invaded and then I was slain on the spot. So in my moment I created a special dimension and vowed for eternity to help others to find a safe haven, A place to call to themselves their home.” After that long speech Rainbow was shocked to learn that history was wrong about Dread.
“So, um, are you able to take this cursed tutu off?”
At that point Dread nodded. “Yes, I am able to.”
“Will it reverse the effects, like my voice, mind, Talent and cutie mark?”
Dread sighed. She now had to be the bearer of bad news. “I’m sorry Rainbow Dash, but, due to how long you wore the tutu, your talent, and Cutie Mark will remain as is. I can reverse the part about your voice and mind only. Now, lay on the bed and think happy thoughts.”
Rainbow did as she was told, she closed her eyes and only thought of the most good times she had. Dread Took this opportunity to dive into Rainbow’s mind and search for the main source of the Darkness. As she traveled through Rainbow’s mind she started to pass by memories of her life. From where she won the young flyers Competition, to the Wedding in Canterlot, and to the part where She admits her love to Twilight. This started to touch Dread’s Heart with each passing memory she went by. Soon she reached to the main source of the darkness where the Tutu is and used a spell to release it. A bright flash of light happened and Dread was back in the real world, where she went to Rainbow’s side and removed the Tutu and threw it to the wall. She then sat on her legs with teary eyes from all the memories Rainbow has given up, It wasn’t long till Rainbow awoke from her crying. Rainbow then looked at her. “A-are you crying?” Rainbow asked nicely.
“I’m sorry,” Dread said as she continues, “I made you give up all that you have worked on, your talents, your accomplishments,..your friends. I’m so so sorry” She finished with tears coming down from her eyes with sadness in them.
Rainbow then walked up to Dread and put a wing over her back. “It’s okay, but, I’m not sure I’m able to return to Equestria. I’ll be counted for treason. Speaking of which, what are you going to do with the tutu?
“I’m going to hide it beneath this dimension so it won’t fall into the wrong hoofs ever again.”
“I understand. So, what is the name of this place?”
Dread looked at her and said, “This is New Swan Lake, a place where no pony can judge on why you love dancing like a ballerina. To be able to dance freely and gleefully.”
“So, this is only a place for ponies to feel like ballerinas?” Rainbow Questioned.
“They don’t feel like Ballerinas, they are ballerinas.” Dread, after saying that, uses her magic and reveals a floor of dancers dancing together almost in sync.
Rainbow was surprised to see this. She saw they would wearing pink leotards and tutus. She noticed some were doing spins. At that moment, Dread used her magic to create Rainbow her own ballerina outfit in the same color as the other dancers. She smiled. At that moment, Rainbow put it on with the help of Dread. As it was on Rainbow looked at her. “So, does this world have a princess or something?” Rainbow asked with glee.
Giggling, Dread looked at Rainbow. “ yes, currently reside as its ruler, not the princess, but I have been meaning to add a princess to my side”
“So, who do you want to make princess?”
“Hmm, I was hoping maybe you be able to take the title?”
“Huh?” Rainbow Looked puzzled as Dread Continued.
“Rainbow, I forgot to mention that in this dimension everypony considers this their second life. So to keep everything in balance you would need to have a new name if you are to stay here.”
Rainbow then looked completely confused. She needs a new name? That was strange to her. She began to wonder if it’s for identity cover purposes. She began to wonder, why is it necessary. “What do you have in mind?” Rainbow asked.
Dread began to ponder and soon she came up with a name, “To keep your Rainbow personality and traits I say Prism Spin, would suit you good. What do you say?”
Rainbow began to think to herself, they name did suit her well. It made her cover name sound very unique. “Sure.”
“Very well…” Dread said as she continues to speak. “Prism Spin, I hereby, for your dedication to dancing in the art of ballet, announce you the Princess of New Swan Lake.”
Rainbow was shocked and awe at what she heard, all this was happening fast it was like a super sonic speeding train. A princess, her? She could only say, “ I I...I ..I’m..i’m a?”
“Rise Princess Prism,” Said Dread as Rainbow did as she was told while still in a daze. “Now Prism you being princess you have almost as much dominance as me. You will be the inspiration to all dancers in this world. Do you accept?”
Rainbow gave a glee but cool attitude before she spoke “ I, Prism Spin, accept this responsibility.”
Nodding, Dread bestowed a pink crown on top of Prism’s Head as a symbol of her new title. She approaches the window to address the Dancers. “Dancers, Give me your attention. For I have big news!”
The Dancers on the floor stopped and looked at Dread. “ Today is a momentous day for us all for I have crowned a princess before us. I welcome Prism Spin To us all, Come on out Prism!”
Prism comes into view for the Dancers as they all clapped and cheered for their new princess of dance. This feeling made Prism very happy to be with many ponies that shares her fantasy. She waved and decided to speak to them. “My Dancers, it is with honor and privilege to be your princess. I promise to be the inspiration that allows you to express yourselves and dance your heart out.”
The Dancers cheered once more for their Princess. “Now let us all dance and enjoy this day forever!”
She finishes as she proceeded down to the dance floor and joined her ponies to dance. She was happily dancing, feeling herself and this is her mind that likes this. Dread Proceeded down to Prism to speak to her. “Prism, I promise you that I’ll help you adapt to your new life. This I promise you as instructor and Ruler of this world.”
“Thanks Dread, You’re alright.” Rainbow says as she continued to dance happy in her real fantasy.
Bearer of news
It is evening in Equestria, and the mane 5 were now in canterlot. After they left Dreads castle, Twilight teleported them to the Train station and headed to Canterlot with them.
When they went to talk Celestia about what happened. Celestia felt mad, but also sorrow for Twilight as she heard what happened. As she was telling it to Celestia, Celestia had a wing over her formal student as she was telling it. “And, she betrayed us…. and Dread kicked us out of the castle.” Twilight concluded as she continued to cry.
Celestia felt bad for Twilight. “I’m sorry this happened to you Twilight. I’m really am.”
“P-p-please don’t have a search warrant for her. I want my Dashie back.”
Celestia then pulled Twilight into a hug and started to brush her mane. “Twilight…. I won’t. But…. I will have to put her on Trial for treason if she returns. If she does return, I promise you, that I’ll go easy on her.”
At that moment Twilight looked at Celestia with tea filled eyes. “D-d-d-don’t banish her.”
“I promise Twilight, I won’t, I will have her do community service under your supervision..”
Twilight wiped her tears and smiled. “Th-thank you.”
After talking to Celestia. Twilight came out of the throne room, where her friends are waiting. Without distraction, they began to head to the Train Station and headed back to ponyville.
Upon arriving back to ponyville, the mane 5 headed to town together. As they were going, Fluttershy was trying to calm Twilight down over what happened. As they arrived into town. They decided to head home. As they were about to head there ways, Applejack suddenly had a feeling that she was being watched. As she looked behind her, she saw nothing. It felt like someone was watching her every move. “Applejack, is something wrong?” Twilight asked now feeling better.
“Ah don’t know about ya’ll, but ah’m having a feeling like somepony is watching us.”
“Let’s not let it bother us. I think we just need to go home.”
“Well darlings, I’m heading home. Lets all promise that we pray that Rainbow will return.” Rarity said.
They all nodded and headed to their homes. As they left, a figure appeared behind a house. A cloaked figure. It watched as Applejack was heading to the outskirts of town. She continued to watch til she was out of site. At that moment, she backed up and grinned at herself. “That rainbow pegasus reformed Dread. If that’s how it’s going to be. Then I’ll just kidnap your farmer friend and make Dread go back to her evil ways.” The cloaked pony said to herself as she began to laugh to herself.
At that very moment, the Cloaked pony used its magic and disappeared into the night, waiting, til the perfect time to carry out her plan.
Rainbow dance of dreadfulness
4 days had passed since Rainbow went with Dread. To Twilight, she had to close down the palace to the public for a few days due to her being depressed. When she went to bed, Spike heard her crying, crying up a storm. When Twilight told Spike what happened, Spike ended up having to calm her down. Even during the night when he hears her crying, he couldn’t help but feel bad. He then ending up having to sleep with her to give her company.
Twilights friends noticed that Twilight was not doing too good after what happened. On those days they caught Twilight trying to hurt herself thinking it was a nightmare. One the third day, they had enough, and decided to get Twilight help. So they got their bits together and found Twilight the best Therapist in ponyville, Dr. Crossheart. Twilights friends went to his office in Ponyville and asked for a session for her, however, knowing Twilight is part of royalty, Sessions are completely free for royalty members. Fluttershy came and got Twilight and took her to the Therapist office. She was then called in and was met with the Therapist. She then sat on the coach. “Now, Princess Twilight…” Dr. Crossheart said.
“Just call me Twilight.”
“Very well. How you doing.”
“To tell you the truth, not to good doc.”
At that point Crossheart began to think on how to start the session. He then remember what Twilight was here for. “Now, your friends came by, and told me you have been not active for a couple of days, and have seen something not right with your behavior. Why is that?”
“It’s kinda hard to explain…”
“Twilight, I dealt with Ponies that went through the same thing as you. You need to get it off your chest. I’m here to help you, im a professional at this.”
“Well, to be honest, I am completely heartbroken about what happened 6 days ago. You see, my friend, or in this case, marefriend, got this cursed tutu stuck on her.”
“Okay, so what does it have to deal with this?”
“I’m getting to that doc. on the third day of our travel, my marefriend, betrayed me and my friends, and sided with dread…. It really broke my heart.”
At that point, Crossheart saw that Twilight was now crying. He felt bad for her. Of all of his patients he had, Twilight was different. He could tell she is going through a crisis. “So, what happened after your marefriend, or in better terms, the love of your life “betrayed” you, and what is her name?” Crossheart asked.
“Her name is Rainbow Dash. Basically, I told Celestia what happened, she made a promise to me, then the night I got home, I decided isolated myself in my palace. Every night, I’ve been crying in my sleep, ending up having to have Spike sleep with me, I decided not to go outside, and made my palace not available to the public.”
“What happened, on each day?”
Twilight then began to think really hard. trying to remember what happen the past 3 days. As she was thinking, Crossheart knew she was trying to recall the events. About 4 minutes later, she then remembered. “Basically, the first day, I tried to hit myself thinking this is a nightmare, However Fluttershy came by and stopped me, that evening I tried to do something dumb, luckily Pinkie came and stopped me. The second day, I tried something completely stupid, but thank Celestia Rarity came by and stopped me. That night, I tried to hurt myself, but Spike stopped me, and the following morning, I tried to hurt myself again, but Applejack came and said she and the others had enough of my behavior and decided to taking me here tomorrow, by that, I mean today.”
After explaining, Crossheart began to think to himself about what Twilight said. This was pretty serious, even for a princess of Equestria. As he was thinking of an explanation, he could tell Twilight wasn’t doing to good after what happen. Signs like that were pretty serious, and by that, he knew that Twilight would need to come daily. “Twilight, it seems you are going through Depression and you’re starting to show signs of serious issues. I dealt with ponies like this before, but in my whole career, I never saw anything this serious before. What you need is therapy.”
Twilight sighed. “But, I don’t have that much money.”
“Twilight, you’re a princess. Therapy sessions for royalty members are completely free. I will need you to come on a daily basis or any time you feel like. But, I guess that’s all the time we have Twilight.”
Twilight got up and walked to the door, right before Crossheart stopped her. “By the way Twilight, little advice, avoid hurting or harming yourself. Make sure to come back here for the next therapy session.” Crossheart said.
“Will do doc.”
Hanging with Dread
Four days have passed since Rainbow “betrayed” her friends to live her fantasy. Being princess of ballet was one thing Rainbow was surprised about, even since it was her first time there. During the time when Rainbow was there, the ballerinas introduced themselves to Rainbow, whom address her as Princess Prism. When she went to bed in her temporary bedroom, Dread made Rainbow a Plushie that looked like Twilight, which Rainbow slept. with. during the days, she dance like a ballerina gracefully, and with glee. Her favorite moves were the pirouette, and Jete. During Afternoons, when not dancing she hung with Dread, and got to know her more. She even gave her a tour around what she said they are currently in, a 8 floor mansion.
Now, Rainbow was seen dancing with the ballerinas. She was dancing with glee. To her, it felt better than being a wonderbolt. She danced at the barre, and then danced on the dance floor.
As she was dancing, the other ballerinas danced in a circle with her in the middle. As she danced in the middle, a couple of them came in to the middle and danced with her and gave her nice comments.
As they were dancing, Dread then walked into the ballet studio room, and smiled. As they opened the circle, Rainbow noticed Dread, and danced to her, and ended with a Pirouette. “Hey Dread, hows it going?” Rainbow giggled.
Dread released a giggle at what she saw and smiled. “It’s going good Princess Prism. I see you having fun dancing like the ballerina you are.”
“Yup I’m having fun. I see you are in a pink leotard and tutu.”
“Well, it’s recommended for all of us to wear em at all times, including me, and you. But, the reason why all of them are pink, is because one of the ballerinas told me that pink makes you a true ballerina, so I made the requirement color pink.”
Rainbow then began to blush. She had to admit, the color does really suit well. She then wrapped her hooves around Dread and hugged her. Dread did the same thing. After a nice hug, they then looked at each other with friendly smile. “So, Dread, why are there only mares here?” Rainbow asked as she and Dread began to dance.
“Well, the reason is it’s because I wanted to create a dimension for mares, or in this case ballerinas who feared being judge. When I made New Swan Lake, I vowed to make this a wonderful home and world for ballerinas. Like, the ballerinas here, they came because I knew they had a fantasy of ballet. The reason no stallions are here, is because me and my daughter, feared that stallions would judge this place for being for only mares.” Dread said as she and Rainbow performed a grand jete.
“I understand….. wait, you have a daughter?” Prism said as this sudden information stopped her from dancing.
“Yes, you see she is my daughter legally. I adopted her when she was in the orphanage.” Dread Explained.
“Okay that’s real nice but when did you do this?” Prism Questioned.
“I did this before I made New Swan Lake.” Dread answers as Prism starts piecing together the info.
“But if you adopted her before you made this place then you would have been alive. Meaning… But how?”
“You see Prism, Stary is a special filly. The only filly to live forever. It happened before the tragedy happened as I was visited by Luna. When i was about to leave to my castle she sensed something horrible to come. She asked me about the dangers that are to come and I wanted to stay with my Stary so Princess Luna proposed a plan. She will give my Stary the ability to live forever as a filly and live in a new dimension where in there I’m alive even if I died in the real world. After it was done and the day came I helped Stary into the dimension and soon I awaited my upcoming doom…” After saying more about her tragedy Dread now sees Prism Shocked and awe with her mouth hanging wide open.
“Whoa, That’s too much to take in. So Princess luna before did you and Stary a favor, I wonder if she still remembers you?”
“I don’t know, its been so long and the times have certainly change. The only thing I fear is our little misunderstanding didn’t hurt my chances to explain myself without harming you Prism…” Dread said with a sad tone in her voice as Stary came up and hugged her leg as Dread and Rainbow ended their dance.
“Whether not, we still have each other right?”
“I guess we still do.” Saying with her spirits slightly higher as she returns her kindness to Stary with a motherly hug.
“So don’t mind me asking but how did you two meet up in the first place?” Prism asked.
“Well Like I said it started way back in the day where I was still considered not a witch…” Dread says as memories comes back to her first encounter with Stary
1000 years earlier
Meeting Stary
It was a sunny day in Fillydelphia as Dread was taking on of her normal strolls around the town as she sees a couple of groups of ponies chatting. As she went through town she took some detours till she reached an orphanage where she can hear many fillies laughing and playing together. This touched her heart as she looked at all of them playing. As one of the caretakers was calling out to the fillies, Dread couldn’t help but noticed one filly who wasn’t lined up to the door but instead was looking at the gates. A closer look revealed that she was actually digging around the fence. Dread was confused if she didn’t hear the caretaker or not but all was clear when she sees the filly burrowing through the ground and under the fence till she was on the otherside. As the filly ran away from the building Dread took it upon herself to go after the filly to find out why she ran away. It didn’t take long till the filly was sitting on the pathway staring into the forest, looking like she was going to go in. Before she made that first step Dread spoke up.
“Hey!” Dread called out as it stopped the filly in her tracks. She stood there as Dread came up. “You know its dangerous in there, why are you heading there?”
The filly looked sad as it replied, “Anywhere would be better than there…”
“Something wrong little filly?” Dread asked.
“Its just that everypony laughs at me for liking ballet, so when I couldn’t handle it...I ran away. I guess you’re going to laugh at me too?”
“I wouldn’t laugh at somepony who likes ballet, besides, look at my cutie mark.” Dread shows a cutie mark of a pair of ballet slippers with a ribbon flowing through the air. This made the filly jump up.
“Really? You love ballet?” The filly asked while Dread does a pirouette in front of her.
“Does that answer your question? What’s your name?”
“Stary Spin.”
“Dread Maker.” Dread bows in front of Stary to show her respects.
“That’s kinda a strange name.” Stary says as it questioned her.
“Well the name is of no importance as long as you do what you love best. So where do you plan on going Stary?”
The question gave Stary a somewhat uneasy feeling as she looked at the forest again before saying, “I don’t know, i thought if I run away from all the laughing it would make me feel better.”
“Well its a good thing I came to stop you from making a big mistake. I heard bad things dwell in the forest, terrible things. It’s definitely no place for a filly such as yourself to be wandering around at this kinda day.”
“But what do I do Dread? I don’t want to go back the that place, ponies will laugh at me.” She beings to tear up as Dread Continued.
“That’s not going to happen, I like you Stary. We share a glorious passion together and to be honest, I have been wanting a filly of my own.” Stary Looked at Dread with eyes wide open hoping she was going to say what she wants Dread to say. “ Stary, would you like me to be your mother?”
Without warning Stary jumped up onto Dread with hugs, tears, and cries of joy. It was obvious she wanted this and so they both head back to the orphanage. After many papers signed and dotted Dread became the mother of a beautiful filly, Stary Spin.
Present
“Wow, so you adopted her just like that?” Rainbow asked
“Yes Prism, I did.”
Rainbow was shocked to learn this, it was beautiful. She never knew that she adopted a filly, so she could not be judged. But, she guessed it was during when Discord was defeated, so it would make stary one thousand eight years old. At that moment, Stary was twirling all around Dread, which made both of them giggle. “Tell Princess Prism the first magical tutu you made for me, turned into the creation of the cursed tutu mommy.” Stary squee’d as she bowed.
“Wait, the cursed tutu was supposed to be a magical one?” Rainbow asked dumbfounded
“Yes. Heres the story. I happened a couple of months after I adopted Stary.”

Months have passed since Stary was adopted by Dread Maker. During the first month she Redone her bedroom. She made her bed into a two bed so Stary could sleep with her and have some motherly love, she painted the bedroom Stary’s favorite color, pink, and created a little dance studio on the side of the bedroom.
On one month, Stary came with an idea of a magical tutu, that can transform the wearer into a graceful ballerina, which she wrote it in her dream list. which surprised Dread when she saw it. She deducted that Stary had a really unique imagination, even of an idea of a world for fillies, and mares who are like herself, fearing to be Judged of being a ballerina.
On one day, Dread was seen in a room of her castle with a machine creating what seemed to be a tutu. Stary, was dancing in their bedroom. As Dread was working on the tutu. she smiled to herself You have one neat imagination Stary my sweet filly. I’m making this magical tutu for you. Dread thought as she was working.
As she finished creating the tutu. she then put it on the pedestal in the room, and was getting ready to enchant it. At that moment, Stary walked in “Hey mommy, wanna have a ballerina tea party?” Stary asked.
This surprised Dread and she looked and saw Stary. “Oh, hey Sweetie. Not now, I’m working on your magical tutu you wanted.”
“Really!?”
“Yes Sweetie, because I love you.”
At that moment, Dread was casting a spell and the tutu started flying in the air. As it was in the air, Stary remained quiet and allowed her mother to complete the spell. As Dread was focusing the unexpecting happened. A loud explosion was heard from outside, and made Dread lose focus. Without knowing, a random spell was cast and hit the tutu. Oh no. OH nononono, I didn’t just cast a curse spell? Dread thought.
At that moment, the spell completed it self, and the tutu landed on the ground. Stary went and grabbed it. “Yay, now I get to be a ballerina.” Stary said cheerfully.
As she was going to put it on, Dread took it from her in fright for her filly’s safety. Stary looked at her with tears. Dread looked at her with sadness. “Honey…. I cast the wrong spell. The explosion caused a curse spell to be casted, and hit your tutu. I’m sorry sweetie.”
Knowing that she needed to get rid of it, she went to the hidden room of her castle and hid it in the safe where nopony could get it.
Founding of New Swan Lake
The past months went by, and Dread was starting to hear about the rumors about her. Ponies were dubbing her as a witch and tried to storm her castle. As a result, Dread had to create a barrier for when the ponies decide to attack. One day, she went out for a walk and out of no where, Princess Luna came and stopped her. “Princess Luna.” Dread said surprised as she bowed. “What brings you to my castle?”
"I sense thou are not safe. I have a feeling you will be murdered in an unexpected attack."
"WHAT!"
“heres why I came here. I am going to help you create this dimension that your daughter always dreams of. However, I also fear for her safety.”
Dread began to wonder. Somepony is plotting to kill her and possibly her daughter. She was now scared. Her life is in danger. She looked at Luna. “So, what is the plan?” Dread asked
“Well, since it’s highly illegal under the Equestrian Law to commit premeditated murder on somepony and on a filly, I will act fast and inform my sister about this. But, for your daughters safety, I will have to cast the immortality spell on her, and the spell to make her remain as a filly.”
“But...is that illegal?”
“My sister did that before, so we need to do it.”
Dread nodded and took her into the castle, as she was walking, Luna saw that the castle looked very unique and well made. She knew Dread wanted to live out of public sight due to her name meaning fear. As she headed into stary’s room, they saw stary dancing. “Stary, we have a visitor honey.” Dread said sweetly.
Stary stopped and saw it was her mom and Princess Luna. She bowed and rose. “Stary, I saw that you and your mother are in grave danger. Somepony is plotting murder, so I’m here with a plan.”
Stary remained silent and continued to listen to Luna. The plan was that Luna will create New Swan Lake with Dreads help, and promises to help them find dancers to live there someday. As she finished explaining the plan, she casted the immortality spell and then the other spell on Stary. “What about mommy?” Stary asked
“Honey, I’m going to take the downfall.”
“No! Please.”
“Let me finish Sweetie, Luna casted a spell where I will live on as a ghost here, but when I go to the dimension, I will be alive, kinda like a second life. Don’t worry, I be resurrected someday”
With that, Princess Luna and Dread worked on the dimension together. However, two months later, Dread was murdered,
Present
After Dread finished her background, Rainbow was shocked, and felt sorry for Dread. She couldn’t believe how lucky Stary got when she avoided getting murdered by hiding in NSL, not only that, but being immortal. As they finished their story, A dancer named Twirl Swirl approached them. “Excuse me, Dread?” Twirl asked
“Yes Twirl Swirl?”
“Permission to go lay down in my room?”
“Permission granted
After Twirl left, Dread told Rainbow that the dancers have bedrooms on the 4th floor, which is reserved to the dancers. However, Rainbows future bedroom is on the 6th floor, which the room is under construction.

The Kidnapping of Applejack
In Ponyville, Applejack is seen walking towards Twilights place. the past few days, she had the feeling that she was being stalked nonstop. To her it felt weirder than what tenderhoof was doing. Everytime she went to sleep, she felt like she was being watched.
As she approached Twilights place, she gulped and open the door, she walked through the hall, to where Twilight usually is found, sitting in the council room, looking down. As she walked in, she could tell Twilight was still hurt by Rainbows decision, she knew that when Twilight confessed her feelings to Rainbow, she hung with her nonstop, but since what happened at Dreads abandoned castle, she wasn’t the same. She walked up to her and put a hoof on her shoulder. “I know it’s not easy Twi, we don’t want you to hurt yourself.” Applejack said
“I don’t know Applejack, anyway, why are you here?”
“I need a search warrant, the past days I been having the feeling like I’m being stalked, and something is watching my every move.”
“I can’t Applejack…. I just need time.”
“Come on Twi, you been hurting yourself the past days and we had to consult Dr. Crossheart to help you.”
During the argument, Twilight couldn’t stand much of it, and asked Applejack to leave so she could be alone. Applejack knew that Twilight was severely heartbroken and only a miracle could make her get out of her depress state. As Applejack left the castle, she saw something in front of her, it was hard to tell but she could tell it was a pony by the body size. “uh… Can ah help ya?” Applejack asked.
“You’re a foolish mare of a foolish friend who foolishly made my friend into a foolishly good pony.” it replied in a chilling voice.
“Uh….Wait….what are ya doing…..”
As it was all too sudden the pony used its magic and knocked Applejack out, she then grabbed her and started to gallop to the everfree forest, it then began to cast a spell, and began to send it to its destination.
Back to Equestria
In New Swan Lake, Rainbow Dash was sleeping in her bed, in her temporary room. As she was sleeping she began to stir in her sleep. She was having a nightmare. In it, she saw her friend being kidnapped and taken to a abandoned castle in the Everfree forest, which turned out to be the Pony Sisters Castle. As the pony spoke, Rainbow woke up with a terrified shriek, which caused Dread to run in. “Prism, are you okay?” Dread asked.
“......I need to go back to Equestria.”
“What?! Prism, you are wanted for treason.”
“You don’t understand, my friend got kidnapped.”
At this point Dread was shocked, Rainbow saw a vision, but not an ordinary one. These types are caused by a pony who is committing the deed. Dread began to think. She knew she couldn’t risk her new friend to be detained and charged for treason which she didn’t commit on purpose. At that point, Dread remembered that she had something to alter ponies looks, a magical hood that transforms it’s wearer into a different pony, till they take the hood off. At that moment, Stary walked into the room and saw Dread. “Mommy, is everything okay?” Stary asked sweetly.
“Honey, Me and Prism have to go back to Equestria. Her friend is in danger.”
“What?”
“Listen, go in my closet and get the disguise cloak. Prism is going back to Equestria to save her friend.”
Stary nodded and ran to the bedroom. few minutes later, Dread and Rainbow walked out of NSL and headed into Dreads abandon castle, As they headed in, they saw Princess Luna. “Eeek, don’t arrest me.” Rainbow said scaredly.
“I’m not going to arrest you, I know you came back because your friend is kidnapped. I knew that you couldn’t resist choosing your dream over your friend Rainbow. I will take you to the train station, Put your cloak on first.”
“i’ll possess your tiara Rainbow.” Dread added
with that Dread possesed Rainbows pink tiara, and Rainbow put the cloak on, making her look like a completely different pony. With everything ready, Luna teleported them to the Fillydelphia train station, and gave her money. Luna then teleported to Canterlot and Rainbow walked up to the counter. “I like a ticket to Ponyville Please.” Rainbow asked politely.
“You’re in time, the train is here to ponyville, that be 40 bits Mrs Dash.”
At this point Rainbow was shocked, the pony found out who she was. She now became scared because she feared that she will be turned in to the authorities. “Please dont arrest me.” Rainbow said in fear.
“I’m not, I knew you would come back. But here's your ticket, I can tell you are going back there because something happened. Now, thank you for the bits, get going.”
Rainbow nodded and got on the train, as it went off, she was hoping that she gets there in time. The first stop shes going to make, is to go get her love of her life.
