Equestria is in chaos. Young unicorn Twilight Sparkle, a bookworm with her head in the clouds but very intelligent, lives in the worst of it all: Ponyville.

Twilight has long dreamed of a place where there is peace. It's all she wants: Peace.

Twilight tells her thoughts to her friends, who agree. They set off on a journey to discover forgotten lands, buried secrets, and, most important, a way to save Equestria.
