Families

I lift the brush slightly with my mouth so the royal purple paint wouldn't get on the wrong area. Now it was finally done. A painting of my moms kissing each other, with Dazzle and I sittin' in the corner. See, I have loved art since I was born, so it was kinda my hobby.

"Hey Mom and Mom and Dazzle, come here!" I say. My room was added on after Ma moved into the Carousel Boutique, so was Dazzle's. I quickly cover the canvas with a sheet then wait for them to come up.

  "So, what is it?" Rarity said.

  I pull off the sheet and my family awed.

  "Why...it's just amazin'!" Mom Applejack said.

  "I look kinda small, but it's alright," A Unicorn named Dazzle said.

  "I think you just found your special talent! I mean, you have been painting for years, so I might be right!" Rarity said.

  "I dunno Mom, maybe," I say.

    "Hi-yah!" I say as I buck my legs into an Apple tree Rarity'd grown in her backyard.

  "Great job, Dazzle! Now do the rest." Applejack said.

  When I was done my legs were so sore I couldn't hardly walk and I had at least bucked 20 of the trees in our yard.

  "Applejack! Look what you did, she's so tired she can't even move! I told you no child of mine is going to spend all her time bucking apples! Come in, Darling, and get some rest." Rarity said as she stormed outside and picked me up with her magic. Applejack simply rolled her eyes and went back to bucking. She took me inside and laid me down on my bed.

  "Rest well, and when you wake up you can help me make a few dresses." She said. She kissed my forehead then trotted out of my room to yell at Mom.      Then I fell asleep.

  When I woke up I walked downstairs. The sun was setting, which meant at 9:00 I'd have to go to sleep. Again. But I was too eager to help make the dresses to care.

  "Can I help make the dresses now?" I ask Mom.

  "Actually, Darling, I have other plans. Since you can't control your magic yet, please go over to Sweetie Belle's and she'll give you your lessons."

  I sigh and walk over to Sweetie Belle's.
