//-------------------------------------------------------// Never Will I Forget You -by SingSong- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// But You're Still So Close To Me //-------------------------------------------------------// But You're Still So Close To Me   A cold wind blew through the air. It was that time of year again. Winter. It was also that time of the year when WindSwept would visit his friend, FrostBite. FrostBite died of Hypothermia. It was the first Hypothermia case in all of Equestria. That was 3 years ago. WindSwept was going to go visit FrostBite's grave. The day of her funeral, WindSwept almost didn't' come. Nobody knew his secret. He loved Frost. He loved everything about her. Her hair, her eyes, even her stubbornness. He couldn't bear to see the coffin, but the funeral would be the last time he could ever see her body. Many tears were shed at the funeral. That day, Wind learned a very important lesson. He  learned to dress properly for Winter. Today he had on a blue beanie, a blue scarf, and black boots. The walk from his house to the cemetery wasn't very long. He got there in about 10 minutes.   He went to Frost's grave and sat down.   "Umm..hi Frost. How's life? Oh you are dead. Right. Well, business is booming at your house at the club. Wishberry takes good care of it." Wishberry was Frost's sister.   "And, Trotter is doing fine as well. He's housebroken now..."   Tears started forming. Wind used his hoof to wipe them away.   "Frost, I love you. When I first laid eyes on you, back when we were 12, I knew you were the one. I just knew it. I know you are gone. But you're still so close to me."   Wind started crying very hard. Why did she have to die? Why? But he knew the answer. Stubbornness. She should've put on a scarf, a hat, and some winter boots. And that cost her her life. She was gone now. "You're gone and my head's still spinning. Left the childhood. Left the good times of the past. Wishing the clock would stand still. The world can wait. Never will I forget you. And all the memories past. Nothing will take away the time we had. We knew that time would kill us. But you're still so close to me."
