Invaded By Twilight Sparkle!

Twilight Has Finally Hit...

Previous Chapter

The Wall!

Twilight Sparkle was wandering around Anor Londo for the first time since joining the Darkmoon covenant. This was the place she had faced Haxorlicious multiple times, and would likely be the only place she could reliably face him. Of course, she learned that if she was to be invaded, she would rather not have it happen with those archers with the massive arrows...So, she set out to slay them in order to prepare for what could be her final showdown with the being that had caused her to be trapped in this infinite cycle of death and rebirth. She knew that killing him would not really matter as he was likely also unable to truly die...Regardless, it had become a matter of principle. Once she got the closure of showing him the pain that he inflicted constantly on others, she would begin researching a way to return to Equestria.

The sound of rock music cut her train of thought off as though her mind had hit a brick wall.

"Another one of these encounters...I should probably just jump off the edge and save myself the trouble." (Oh Twilight, you wish it could be that simple...Fkin Casul)

Dark Spirit YouCn'tnokitdwn342 has invaded!

"Well, assuming the music fits...I'm assuming this guy is some kind of tank build." Twilight said as she cautiously walked the narrow walkways. She had long since taken out the Greatbow Archers from a distance with what was essentially a very long war of attrition.

Eventually, Twilight, while attempting to drown out the rock music by shouting songs about friendship, found a white soapstone sign that read 'Jerckson'. She saw that the phantom that she would be summoning only to notice the lack of weaponry...He somehow wielded a great shield and simultaneously carried a larger one on his back. With a sigh of resignation and the decision that it would be better to have a nigh useless fighter with her than to face her next death alone, Twilight tapped the symbol. Apparently, she did so just in time as she saw a slow moving red being waddling across the narrow platform she was standing on.

"Seriously?" Twilight asked with a smirk as she saw her opponent. No weapon in sight, much like her new partner that was now climbing out of the ground.

The music stopped abruptly as 'Jerckson' and the dark spirit came face to face. After a brief staredown, the two bowed and began advancing upon each other. Twilight found the display oddly alluring as the shields collided and it became a glorified sumo-match. One of the two would slip up slightly and almost be forced off the side. The sparks between the grinding shields increased in intensity by the second. The impressive strength of the two titans threatening to force her off of the edge just from the shockwaves that the two gave off upon each collision. Truly this was a battle that needed more description as two shields pressed against eachother like lovers that had just eaten oysters. Truly, that last sentence was needed. Truly, there was no way that this battle would ever end.

Suddenly, as if on cue, the music began again and Jerckson began losing ground fast. It was if the invader had received a second wind and some steroids as the apparently helpless white phantom was effortlessly chucked off of the side of the castle and into the abysmal blue beneath them.

The message that her helper had been vanquished made Twilight realize that she should have been helping Jerckson fight instead of spectating. Something that at the time seemed like it would have been a breach of honor.

The red phantom bowed to her once more before it began to advance slowly. She futilely fired magic into the massive shield only to hear the light chuckle over the loud music. Twilight decided that melee would be her only choice as she drew her trusty falchion and applied the Darkmoon Blade as she charged.

Flailing wildly at the behemoth of a shield, she quickly realized that this was a bad idea as she felt herself being forced backwards. The steady push that she was feeling was almost mocking in nature, she knew this opponent could probably just fling her without even trying. Instead, she was being slowly forced off of the edge that she had thought of jumping off anyway.

"You think I care?" Twilight asked as she pushed back to no avail. "You think that drawing this out is torture? You're probably the fifth phantom to force me off of a cliff, the second that did it with a shield. I'm not scared..." She tried to convince herself and her opponent as she began to cry a bit. Suddenly, she realized something that should have been obvious. "Buck...Off."

With almost no effort, Twilight teleported behind the phantom and turned to grin.

"I can do this all day." She said proudly as she realized her magic wouldn't be useless.

"What, are you done?" Twilight asked. The phantom turned around and stared for a minute as the music once again stopped. He bowed to a point of prostration before jumping off the side.

Twilight looked at the plummeting enemy with a mixture of relief and confusion. She took a step forward to get a better look as the message of her opponent's death. Once she took the step, she somehow slipped and fell off of the side and followed YouCn'tnokitdwn342 to her doom.

"Noooooo!" Twilight screamed before her vision was overtaken by blackness and red writing.

You Died

Author's Note

I know you all probably wanted Twilight to be pushed off of the cliff, but that was already done in a previous chapter. But it's time for a relevant video about how this fight would realistically go.

I'm obviously not ignoring the fact that this chapter is incredibly late.
