THE TWO ALICORNS

Once there were two alicorn sisters who controlled both the night and day, the eldest who controlled the sun, and the younger one who controlled the moon and starry sky. Both were very good at governing their respective times of day, but both of the sisters grew bored with their regulating of both the sun and moon, so they decided to switch places, with the eldest now governing the night while the younger one took control of the day. However, this led to catastrophe, for the elder one, having no experience with the starry sky, accidentally caused the stars in the sky to fall upon the earth, causing upheaval. While the younger one, having no experience with the sun, caused it to shine much brighter and hotter, and inflicted the populace with blindness and painful blisters.

An alicorn, knowledgeable in her year's of magic and spells, decided to take a lavender-colored unicorn under her wing to teach her of such abilities and powers. Because of this achievement, the alicorn teacher decided to promote the unicorn to the status of an alicorn in reward for her dedication. However the alicorn teacher began to grow tired of her student's boastfulness and arrogance over her newly acquired powers. Finally, the alicorn teacher had enough and not only stripped he student of her wings, but of her magical abilities as well, reducing her to the status of an earth pony.

Do not be pretentious when giving awards.

THE SEAMSTRESS AND THE DRESS

A unicorn, who was a skilled seamstress, worked in her boutique creating and designing new and glamorous dresses for the citizens of Ponyville, and took joy in finishing each dress she made. One day she was told to design a new dress full of ribbons and other gorgeous accessories by a handsome mare.

"I need this dress to be as pretty and clean as it can possibly be by the time I come back to pick it up."

"Of course darling, I'll make it to the best of my abilities," replied the unicorn. After a few hours of hard work and precious designing, she finished the dress and was ready for it to be picked up by the mare. But while she was holding the dress in her magical aura, she accidentally tripped, and losing control of her balance tumbled and caused the dress she had to fall into black paint that was in a roller pan.

"OH NO!! THE DRESS IS RUINED!!" The unicorn, having ruined the dress she made, sat on the floor and sobbed bitterly over the splattered dress. Having heard her older sisters grieving, the unicorn's younger sister went downstairs to see what was causing her older sister to cry.

"Why are you crying?"

"Well," replying to her younger sister, "I was finished with that dress over there and now it's completely covered in black paint!" her younger sister looked at the dress covered with black paint, and turned back to her sister.

"It's not so bad, here, I know what to do!"

Picking up the dress with her own magical aura, she went to the laundry room where the washing machine was, and put the dress inside of it to wash off the paint. After a few minutes, the dress was lifted out of the washer and giving back to the unicorn without a single blotch of paint on it. "Oh.......I knew I could do that."

Don't make much ado about nothing.

THE SICK FILLY

Once there was a family of three who lived in the village known as Ponyville. The family consisted of a strong caring stallion, a loving mother, and a filly whom they raised and cared for. One day their filly grew sick, and needed to be admitted to the local hospital, where their child would stay until it was nursed back to health. Although the filly was visited often by its parents and giving the best medicine by the best doctors, the filly did not regain health or recover from her dire illness. When word spread about the filly's poor condition and excessive time in the hospital, a pink earth pony, having heard of the sick filly, at once went to the hospital to cheer it up. Once she was allowed in, she spent hours upon hours cracking jokes and playing fun games and tricks with the filly in hopes of cheering it up. Overtime, the filly grew happier and better, and laughed at the earth pony's fun antics, and was breathing new life and energy in her. This gave the filly a remarkable recovery, and was soon admitted out of the hospital. Once out, the filly went to the pink earth pony to ask her a question.

"How were you able to bring me back to health but none of the doctors?"

"Oh, the doctors did fine, but sometimes all you need to do is smile and be happy, and before you know it you'll fell a billion gazillion times better!"

Laughter is the best medicine.

THE CELLIST AND HER BOW

Once there was a grey earth pony who played the cello, and was renowned for her amazing musical abilities. Supported by her friends and family, she became a member of Equestria's most famous orchestra, and traveled the country with them playing glorious music at all of the most famous concert halls in the land. One day as she was polishing her bow, it suddenly split into two, and therefore made it unusable. Having broken her bow (not to mention last) she began to panic about going to the orchestra without it, and having to receive a angry lecture by the music director. So she devised to instead say she must have not known of bringing her bow, in order for her to avoid a lecture. On the night they were to play their most famous piece at the most famous concert hall in Equestria, the cellist went to the concert hall without her bow, and was later seen by the musical director without it.

"Why do you not have your bow with you? don't you know this is the most important concert hall we've been to?"

"Hmm?.....Oh! oopsy! I didn't know we had to bring our bow tonight, is that okay?"

"No! it's not okay! You young ma'am can go back to your house, your services on the cello won't be needed tonight."

Depressed now that she wouldn't be able to play, she bitterly left the director, but as she started to walk away she was able to hear the music director mumble to himself.

"Maybe if she told me she accidentally broken her bow I would of given a new one to her."

Ignorance does NOT give bliss.

THE TWO PEGASI

There were once two pegasi who had a strong friendship with one another. The first one was yellow, both figuratively and literally, who was of shy nature but was known across the land as being the best veterinarian around, as she cared for and nursed a substantial amount of critters and beasts back to health. The other one, a cyan-colored mare with a rainbow mane, was the opposite of the former, as she was loud, boastful, arrogant, and sometimes rude, but nevertheless she remained good friends with the shy one, and vice-versa. One day the shy one was trying to get a black bear to eat its berries for lunch, but it refused to eat them. She tried to be as kind and considerate as she could to the bear, but failed to make it change its mind. At that moment her pegasus friend stopped by and asked her what was the matter. Once her friend told her, she went straight to the bear and tried to make it forcefully eat its berries by grabbing its head towards them. But the bear, feeling threatened, roared as fiercely as it could to the pegasus, and rather quickly it flew away from the bear in fear.

Might does not make right.
