The alarm went off, shocking me out of my deep sleep. Monday, god, I hate Monday. A real slap to the face if you ask me.

I arose, turning the alarm off and proceeded towards what I believed was the closet. Reaching out, I grabbed the shower curtain. I mentally slapped myself.

"Crap. Shouldn't have live streamed Krazy Rabb1t. Uh...he needs to stop that gay shit. Bronies, or what they call themselves."

Trudging up the stairs, I walked into my closet. I pulled out my collared shirt, paints and belt.

I work at a simple burger joint. Cook, never thought that I would get to being cook. Life is full of surprises sometimes. I flipped on the TV, changing the channel to news.

"LeBron has signed with the Claviers, some Basketball fa-."

"Shut up." I said towards the tele. I hate basketball, an overrated sport if you ask me. I pulled out the cereal, another day of dry Captain Crunch for me. My phone buzzed, again. Another text from Teto, I swear, I don't think he knows personal privacy sometimes.

A large crash shock the small house. I reached for my pocket knife, holding it at the ready.

"Logan, is that you?" I managed to stutter out.

An eerie silences responded. "Come on Logan, this isn't funny."

Another silent response. I quietly arose from the chair,  slowly moving from room to room. I stopped at the entrance to the master bedroom. I could hear faint shuffling and the sound of.....wings flapping?

'Ok, you got this. Their just robber's....possibly with armed, with guns.' I froze, fear gripping me. 'Nope, nope, not happening,' my conscious screamed at me, 'stop being a bitch and get in there.'

I slowly turned the door, it creaked on the hinges. I heard the intruders whisper. I sparta kicked open that door, to be greeted by a sharp pain to the temple.
