"Claus!" Lucas said as he came in front of Claus carrying a present, "I got what you wanted!" Lucas was eight years old, he had black hair with blue eyes, his hair styal was what he would look like if he just came out of bed, messy, he had on a white shirt and blue jeans with black converse sneakers and no one could see his socks because his blue jeans covered them, and he was roughly two inches shorter that Claus. Claus opened the present and inside he grabbed a baseball bat. "Wow! Thanks man!" Claus said as he took a few swings "Whoa slow down champ!" Claus's father said, "We can test your skills later." Claus's father was around 6 foot one and a half and had little to no hair on his head and had brown eyes, his clothing was nothing more than just lab equipment. "Can we practice today daddy?" Claus asked his dad "Lets see what the weather is first son." Claus's father said as he turned on the t.v to the news "Breaking news! Large meteorites are heading twords all faces of the globe and one the size of the sun is heading twords the planet!" The newsman said on the t.v, "All citizens have been ordered to evacuate their homes and report to the nearest military base for protection!" Claus's father then turned on the t.v quickly and looked at his son. "Son go to the basement." Claus's father said to Claus quickly "What about me?" Lucas asked As if a answer to his question a meteor fell through the ceiling and cut off Lucas from his friend. "Lucas!" Claus shouted "I'll be fine go with your father!" Lucas shouted back "Okay!" Claus shouted Claus followed his father down to the basement where he saw a big machine. "Daddy what is that?!" Claus asked "It's a dimension traveling device."Claus's father explained, "I'll be using it to send you to a different dimension." "But, what about you?" Claus asked "....I'm sorry Claus, but I won't be following you." Claus's father said "W-what!?" Claus said stepping back "You're going to live with a new family where you're going." Claus's father said as he opened the machine "B-b-but daddy I want you to come with me!" Claus shouted almost breaking into tears "Claus." Claus's father said as he turned around and placed a hand on Claus's shoulder, "You have to go Claus, I don't like this anymore than you do, but you to go I want to go knowing that you were safe, please, do it for daddy." "I-I'll miss you daddy." Claus said wiping his tears "I'll miss you too son." Claus's father said, "Now get into the machine." Claus did so and is father handed him a folded up piece of paper. "Give this to anyone you meet in the new dimension." Claus's father said Claus put it into his pocket and saw his dad giving him a heart shaped locket, he opened it to reveal a pic of him with his dad on the right and a four dots on the left. "I made it myself, on the back is a button, it'll play that one song you like a lot." Claus's father eplained Claus turned the locket over and pressed the button to hear what appeared to be a acoustic guitar. "T-t-t-thank you daddy." Claus said "Your welcome son." Claus's dad said as he was about to close the door "Goodbye daddy, I love you." Claus said "Goodbye son, I love you too." Claus's dad said as he closed the door Claus's dad then went over to the left of the machine where a button was and pressed it just as a meteorite landed int the basement entrance Claus's dad went over to the door of the machine to find Claus gone. "Goodbye my son." Claus's dad said as he felt the floor under him rumble It was a peaceful day in Equestria and the sun was rising high into the sky. Princess Luna was currently walking through the castle going to her big sister's room all the while saying high to any passerbys', finally she made it to her sister's room where she saw her sister finishing her moon raising. Celestia turned to see Luna and smiled at her sister. "Come to see me have you Lulu?" Celestia asked "I was hoping you'd be free today for a tea party later this afternoon." Luna said "Well if my schedule is free sure." Celestia said, "Why a tea party though you're not six." "Well we haven't really gotten to talk much as of late ever since Tirek attack so I thought why not calm our minds with some tea." Luna explained "Well if it's a tea party why don't we invite Twilight and her friends?" Celestia offered "Not a bad idea Tia, not bad." Luna said All of a sudden Luna's train of thought was interrupted by a royal guard calling out her name. "Princess Luna a strange creature has been spotted near your bedroom!" The royal guard said "Lead us to it!" Luna ordered Claus awoke not hearing a thing meaning the song must've stopped playing. He opened his eyes to see he wasn't in the basement anymore, but in some grand hallway you'd see in a cartoon or fairy tale. Claus got up and decided to investigate where he was and spotted two doors. Both guarded by two guards that looked like ponies, and Claus knew if he was going to get anywhere he'll have to look behind the doors. Claus then got up from the floor and headed twords the doors. "Stop right there foul creature!" Claus turned his head to see another guard pony accompanied by a taller blue pony, Claus became terrified and ran for the doors only to to be grabbed by the guards that were next to the door. Claus thought that this would be it, but then he remembered that he still had his baseball bat with him and with one swing knocked out both guards with a "SMAAAAASH!" knocking them out. Claus quickly went into the room only to be cornered when he reached the balcony. Claus then turned to see the blue pony and guard from earlier. Claus knew that the only way he'd make it out of this was to fight, he swinged up his bat and got into a battle ready pose. "He looks like he's ready to attack Princess Luna!" the guard shouted, "Should I take him!" "Let him attack sir guard." Luna said, "It'll be pointless anyways." Claus charged and all of a sudden jumped to eye level and swinged his bat so hard it sent Luna flying across to the other side of the room, just as the guard could attack Claus swinged his bat at the guard and sent him flying into the hallway knocking him unconscious. Luna got up from where she was knocked over to to see the guard that escorted her get knocked into the hallway. "This creature is stronger than we thought." Luna said to herself All of a sudden Celestia walked in to see Claus. "Is this the creature?" Celestia asked "It is Tia, but don't mock it's strength it's tougher than it looks!" Luna stated "I'm not an it I'm a human being!" Claus shouted "It can talk!?" Luna shouted confused "Of coarse I can talk why wouldn't I?" Claus said "Luna I feel a great unease in him." Celestia said to Luna "What do you mean?" Luna asked "Human. What is your name?" Celestia asked "Claus." Claus answered "Claus. You're not from this world are you." Celestia asked "No I'm not." Claus answered, "Oh!" Claus then pulled out the piece of paper his dad gave him and handed it to Celestia. "Daddy told me to give this to whoever found me." Claus said as Celestia took the letter with levitation and unfolded it "What does it say Tia?" Luna asked "To who ever is reading this," Celestia read, "If you are reading this, then please take good care of Claus. I have been taking care of him all by myself ever since he was born, he was born without the love of a mother, he is nine years old but I hope you can give him the love he needs of a Mother and a Father. Please, just take good care of my only son. Sincerely, Robert Lewis, old father of Claus." Celestia lowered the note and looked at Claus who was about to break into tears. She sat down and picked him up with levitation and brought him over to her where he wrapped his arms around her neck and laid his head on her neck and cried. "It's okay little one, let it all out." Celestia said as she put her wings behind Claus, "Luna write a letter to Twilight and her friends to come here, they should see Claus here." "At once my sister, Luna said The Mane 6, Spike, Discord, and the Cutie Mark CrusadersTwilight was with her friends, each on their individual thrones discussing a few things, but mostly catching up on things. "Twilight darling I must say things have been quite quiet ever since Tirek's defeat." Rarity stated as Spike helped put perfume on her "To be honest girls I just really wish something would happen." Twilight said with a sigh, "Everything has gotten just too boring." "Couldn't have agreed more." Discord said as he appeared out of nowhere with a board look on his face "Tell me about it." Twilight agreed All of a sudden both Pinkie and Discord started acting weird, Pinkie was bouncing A LOT and her head was shaking like crazy, and Discord'd body was spazing out of control. "No, that can't be right." Discord said as he stopped "Wooo! That was a DOOZY!" Pikie said as she stopped "What's going on?" Twilight asked All of a sudden as if an answer to her question Spike burped up a scroll. "It's a letter from Luna." Spike said as he read the scroll, "It say's for you and the others to come to Canterlot castle immediately by Celestia's order." "Well we better not keep her waiting, lets go girls." Twilight said "Hey what about me?" Disocrd asked "Fine you can go too." Twilight said "Where are you going?" Rainbow, Applejack, and Rarity turned to see Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo with confused looks. "We're goin' ta see Celestia, she needs us right now fer some reason." Applejack answered "Can't we go?" Sweetie Belle asked "Just as long as you don't cause any trouble." Twilight stated "Yay!" the three fillies said together "Hey wait for me!" Spike said running behind the others Claus was nervous a little. Celestia had told Luna to send a letter to Twilight and he didn't know who Twilight was and that made him scared a little. Claus, Celestia, and Luna were in the throne room waiting for Twilight and her friends to arrive with Claus hiding behind Celestia for protection. "Relax Claus, Twilight and her friends mean no harm." Luna told Claus "O-okay." Claus said as he got out form behind Celestia All of a sudden a royal guard came through the doors. "Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends from the council of friendship has arrived." The guard said "Thank you Sir Flash bring them in." Celestia said "Yes princess." Flash Sentry replied with a salute Flash left the room and Claus started to get nervous again. Luna noticed this and nuzzled him. "It's alright sweetie." Luna stated, "Don't be scared, we're here for you." Claus calmed down a little and nodded. "T-thank you." Claus said with a stutter The doors thee reopened again to reveal Flash Sentry bringing in the mane 6, Discord, Spike, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "We came as fast as we could Celestia." Twilight said "Twilight, it's good to see you again." Celestia said as she and Luna made their way to the group, "I see you brought Discord, Spike, and your friends sisters with you as well." "Well they wanted to come along so I let them." Twilight said, "Oh I almost forgot! What is it you needed us for?" Celestia looked behind her to see Claus wasn't there. "Claus, you can come out from behind the throne there's nothing to be afraid of." Claus peeked his head from the right side of the throne and ran right behind Celestia and peeked over her to see Twilight and the others. He the came in between Celestia and Luna and looked at the group for a minute. "H-hello. Everyone." Claus said a little scared "Oh my, he's so cute!" Fluttershy said going up to him "Um thank you." Claus said "Where did he come from?" Twilight asked "He's from another world, a world that is now nothing but gone." Celestia answered, "In other words he is now the last of his kind." This made the others gasp. "Poor thing." Fluttershy said hugging Claus "What hurts even more is that he is no more than nine years old." Celestia said, "He lost his father, and his friend." "What about his mother?" Rarity asked, "Did she come with him?" "I-I-I lost mommy when she gave birth to me." Claus said almost crying "You mean ta tell me you lived without a mother ta love?!" Applejack and Applebloom asked together "Y-y-y-YEEESSS!" Claus screamed letting loose his tears into Fluttershy's chest "Shhh. Shhh. It's okay. Let it all out." Fluttershy said in a calming tone while rubbing his back Twilight looked over at Discord who had a look of distraught on his face. This surprised Twilight a lot because most of the times when Discord was sad he usually faked it, but Twilight saw he was not faking it. "The poor kid." Applejack said, "No ma ta love him and now he has no one, ah can't imagine what it must feel like." Once was done crying Twilight went over to him and placed a hoof on his shoulder. "Don't worry, we can be your parents if you want." Twilight said to Claus Claus looked at Twilight in amazement. "Wh-really!" Claus asked "Really, really." Twilight said "Th-thank you!" Claus said All of a sudden a guard came in with a shocked look. "Princess Celestia changelings have broken through our defenses-" Before he could continue a green beam hit him in the back of his neck and he fell over. Everyone looked to see Chrysalis standing in the middle of the open doors with two changeling guards to her left and right. "Well, well, well, isn't this a pleasant surprise." Chrysalis said giving Claus chills "Chrysalis!" Everyone but Claus shouted "What are you doing here!" Celestia shouted with anger "I didn't come here on my own accord, the master wanted me too get something for him." Chrysalis replied "And what is that!" Luna said Chrysalis then pointed at Claus scaring him. "I want the boy!" Chrysalis stated "I won't let you have him!" Twilight stated charging up her horn Chrysalis's horn then glowed and the next thing everyone knew Claus was next to Chrysalis in the air by levitation. "You were saying?" Chrysalis Claus then looked at Luna and shouted something that shocked everyone. "MOMMY! HELP ME!" PK Lightning"Did-did he just call you mom?!" Twilight asked confused "Oh how touching!" Chrysalis mocked, "No matter, he'll never see her again anywa-" Chrysalis dropped Claus out of her levitation spell as she felt the wind get knocked out of her, she looked to see Luna with an angry look on her face. "Don't! Touch! My! SON!" Luna shouted the last word with her royal canterlot voice "Meep!" Chrysalis squeaked Luna then brought a hoof up and punched Chrysalis in the chest and sent her flying. "Guards! Attack!" Chrysalis shouted with whatever breath she had left The two guards that aided Chrysalis did as told and in a few seconds had Luna pinned down. Chrysalsis then called upon the rest of the hive to help and in a few seconds the room was filled with changelings. Claus became scared then found himself being dragged by two changeling drones tword Chrysalis. Claus then turned his head around to see Luna getting beaten to a pulp. "M-MOMMY!" Claus shouted in fear Claus then struggled to get out of the hold of the changelings' and help his mommy, but the changelings' strength was too much. "Fool. Say goodbye to these pitiful ponies, forever." Thee last word. That last word was all it took for Claus to finally lose it. "No. I! WON'T!" Claus shouted as lighting struck him from nowhere and the hold on him dissapeared Everyone, even the changelings that were attacking the ponies looked at Claus with shocked looks, Luna was just looking at him in fear even Chrysalis herself was starting to get a little scared. "Wh-what's going on!?" Chrysalis shouted in fear, "And what in the blazes is that noise!" "I won't! Let you! Hurt! My! MOMMY!" Claus shouted as lightning surrounded him and his eyes turned white All of a sudden he stretched his arms out and and pointed his hands upwards stretching his fingers as well, then all of a sudden a glow began to appear from his hands. "PKAAAAAAY!" Claus began "CAN'T WE TALK THIS OVER!" Chrysalis shouted "LIGHTNIIIIIIIIINNNNNG!" Claus shouted as giant lightning shot from his hands and twords Chrysalis Everyone but Luna shut their eyes as they saw the lightning make contact with Chrysalis and a loud scream could be heard and then it all came to a stop. Everyone opened their eyes to see a pile of ash where Chrysalis once stood and spooked everyone. Claus opened his eyes after shutting them for a minute to see a pile of ash where Chrysalis once was and he got so scared he jumped back in fright. "Wh-wh-wh-wh-what happened?!" Claus asked scared out of his mind The other changelings fled while they still had time and all that was there now was Celestia and the others while Discord was literally tide up into a knot, while the CMC and Spike helped get him untangled Luna and the others went over to Claus with looks of fear or shocked looks. "H-h-how did you do that?" Twilight asked in amazement "I-I-I-I-I-I did that?" Claus asked shocked, "Bu-bu-bu-but how?" "I wish I knew." Twilight said still in amazement "It seems Claus has more to him than we thought." Celestia stated "Could it be magic?" Rarity asked "Rarity I can honestly say, I don't know." Celestia said "Let me see." Luna said as she went over to Claus and per her horn on his head Luna then charged up her horn and used a spell that would allow her to see if Claus had magic or not, once she was do she had a face of glee. "Well, well, well, aren't you special." Luna said "Huh? Mommy what do you mean?" Claus asked "You have psychic powers called P.S.I inside you." Luna answered, "It grows stronger and stronger with every victory with new moves for you to do as you go." "B-but that can't be!" Claus said, "I was born a normal kid, even my dad said so and he would never lie to me!" "You mean you were unaware of your power?" Celestia asked "I guess so." Claus said said sadly, "But how am I suppost to control it?" "I can help you." Twilight said "Huh?" Claus said, "How?" "Well I don't really know anything about PSI, but from what Luna told us it doesn't sound that much different from magic." Twilight said "Thank you then Twilight." "Claus who were you talking to?" Luna asked "Nobody mom." Claus replied All of a sudden Claus let out a yawn making Luna giggle. "It seems like somepony is sleepy." Luna said "Well Lulu that's to be expected with all that has happened today." Celestia stated, "Why don't you let me put him to bed." "Go ahead, I'll take over while you put him to bed." Luna said "Come on nephew." Celestia said as she levitated Claus onto her back Meanwhile.... A black show rested on the mountain looking into the castle through a telescope. "All according to plan." "But master Chrysalis got killed!" "Quiet apprentice! She was weak anyways." "Now what? He's learned Pk Lightning and lighting is his favorite thing!" "Let him learn all the moves for all I care it'll prove pointless anyways." "But what if he learns of the eight melodies int the eight sanctuarys'!" "Like I said, It'll be pointless, in the end when I'm done those thingswon't even make a scratch on me." "Master what if he gains some ponies or that derconequis to help him?" Legend of the Eight MelodiesAs Celestia walked down the halls to Luna's bedroom she looked at Claus who was getting more tired by the second. "I guess using PK Lightning really took a lot out of you." Celestia said to her tired nephew "I guess so." Claus said, "Um does being Luna's son make me a prince?" "Yes it does, congratulations." Soon enough the two made it to their destination and Celestia put Claus to bed. "Auntie, can tell me a story before you go?" Claus asked "Of coarse my nephew." Celestia said, "Years ago, before even I or Luna was born, and Equestria was first starting out, there were three foals: Ninten, Ness, and Lucas. What the three foals had in common is that they were earth ponies who could do magic by psychic ability's. Most thought they were cursed, some thought they were blessed, however, their parents loved them either way. One day a derconequis appeared, not Disocrd, but another, he attacked and defeated the citizens of Equestria and ruled with an iron fist. Ninten, Ness, and Lucas seeing Equestria in need of help created the eight melodies, and when combined created a song that would turn the blackest of hearts pure good. However, they instead turned the derconequis into pure shadow mist and was banished from Equestria. Ninten, Ness, and Lucas knew he would return one day and go after the eight melodies to try and destroy them, so in order to make sure he didn't they hid the melodies in eight sanctuary locations all throughout Equestria. And to make sure they didn't fall into the wrong hoofs it was proficized that only a chosen one would wield them, and for more protection a riddle was placed to where once a true pure good soul answered the riddle a light would emit from the one giving the one Ninten's power, Ness's wisdom, and Lucas's courage. And the riddle was: 'The path of the warrior is hard and tough, while the path of the mage has enough, while the king's power is quite the fright, only with it can there be light." After Celestia finished she looked to see Claus close his eyes. She used her magic to tuck him in and gave him a kiss on his forehead. "Sleep tight my little nephew." Celestia said as she left and turned out the light It had been eight hours since Claus fell asleep and it was now 4:30. "Ooooh auntieeee!" came a voice that Celestia recognized "Oh Blueblood I didn't expect to see you." Celestia said as she turned her attention away from a phoenix wright suited Sweetie Belle Blueblood took notice of the filly and went up to him. "Ace_Attorneyfan800 thank you again for finally putting me in one of your fics!" Blueblood said with glee "Well least I could do considering your number 4 in my top ten favorite ponies and you haven't even been in one of my fics before." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said, "I'm serious readers he is. Why you ask? Well I'm gonna make a blog post centered around that eventually." "Anyways, auntie I need to barrow some money for a date." Bluebblood said "How much exactly?" Celestia asked "Oh just 100 bits is all, the restaurant me and my date are going to kind of expensive and I want to make sure I have enough." Celestia said as she teleported in a bit bag with the amount Blueblood needed inside it "Thank you auntie!" Blueblood said as he left "Well now that he's gone we can now get back to our disscusion." Celestia said "Agreed." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said, "So like we were talking about before, do you really believe he's back?" "I don't know for sure, but something feels off. Do you think he's back?" "Celestia all I can honestly say is this, I don't know. Not even my powers alone could find him if he was back it would take Ninten's, Ness's, Lucas's combined with my power to find him." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said as he left "If what Ace_Attornreyfan800 told me is true, then he must find the eight melodies and solve the riddle if he is the one who will save us all in the end." Claus awoke from his slumber with a yawn to see his mom Luna reading a book. "Claus you're awake!" Luna said putting the book down, "Are you feeling alright now?" "Ya I guess so." Claus said "Well Claus i just wanted to tell you that during your slumber I filled out some forums and now you are my official son." Luna said with glee "Really?" Claus asked with the same glee "Yes, now you will be known as Prince Claus!" Luna stated "That actually has a nice ring to it." Claus said "And soon all of Equestria will know in two days for me and my sister plan on announcing it to all of Equestria!" Luna added "I-I'm not sure if everyone needs to know of me." Claus said a little nervous "Do not fear my son for if anypony tries to harm you they will have to feel our wrath first and your PK Lightning if you have to use it." "Okay." "Now come along Claus dinner will begin soon." In a room in the castle Ace_Attorneyfan800 was writing on a scroll with a feather and ink. He was copying down the riddle from the Legend of the Eight Melodies. "And done." Ace_Attorneyfan800 exclaimed as he rolled up the finished scroll, "Now I need to give this to him before this falls into the wrong hands!" All of a sudden the open door to his room suddenly shut and the light of his candle went out. "*Huff* this is what I get for not messing with light bulbs too much." Ace_attorneyfan800 said as he turned on a lamination spell Ace_Attorneyfan800 then tried to leave only to find the door locked. "Nuts! This is what I get for not having a key to-wait a minute. This door doesn't even have a lock!" Ace_Attorney fan shouted, "How the he-" "Hehehehehehe." Ace_Attorneyfan800 froze in place as he heard that laughter. He knew it all too well. "Sombra!" Ace_Attorneyfan800 shouted as he turned to see the king himself, "How the heck are you still alive!" "My master brought me back to life and told me to stop you from bringing that riddle to 'him." Sombra explained, "This'll be easy considering you only know Ace Attorney magic." "You'll find that I'm more deadlier than I look." Ace_Attorneyfan said as his cutiemark changed form a attorney badge to planet earth, "PK FREEZE!" All of a sudden a ball of ice shot from Ace_Attorneyfan800's horn and shot Sombra freezing him. "Heh. Typical." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said All of a sudden the ice started breaking. Ace_Attorneyfan800 started to panic he knew Sombra would break out, but not this early. Ace_Attorneyfan800 then focused on teleporting the scroll to "him" and sent it away just as Sombra broke out. "Very clever." Sombra said "Well I am a descendant of Ninten, Ness, and Lucas." Claus then got a bad memory of his father's sacrifice and ran away to see if he could help. "Claus where are you going!" Luna asked "To see if anyone needs my help over there!" Claus shouted Luna then proceded to follow him in order to make sure he didn't hurt himself. Celestia felt the shock too, but it wasn't just the castle that made her worried. "Ace_Attorneyfan800!" Celestia shouted in worry Celestia then ran twords where the shock came from and saw Claus and Luna doing the same. In two minutes the shock stopped, but the runners hearts didn't. The threes hearts were racing, Claus didn't know where he was going, but for some reason he knew where to go. The three then found rubble where Ace_Attorneyfan800's room used to be, but then the three saw the middle of the room the three gasped in shock. In the middle was the body of Ace_Attorneyfan800, not moving. Celestia walked up to the body and placed a hoof on his neck, she then cried. "Wh-Tia what is it?" Luna asked in worry "He's-he's not going to make it." Celestia said sadly "No! He can't! He's the only one who's ever gotten close to solving the riddle of the eight melodies!" Luna shouted in sadness with anger All of a sudden a scroll landed in Claus's hands. Luna picked it up and examined it. "Looks like he wants you to solve the riddle now Claus." Luna said "But, why would he do this?" Celestia asked, "He was the last mage in all of Equestria!" As if an answer to her question King Sombra dropped from what remained of the ceiling all bruised up and on the brink of death himself. He struggled to get up and when he did he saw the body of Ace_Attorneyfan800 and laughed. "Hahahahaha! I knew that fool couldn't kill me! Especialy with his PK Starstorm!" Sombra laughed weakly "Sombra!" Celestia shouted with a lot of anger "YOU WILL PAY!" Celestia then shot a beam of pure fire at Sombra. Sombra became terrified and shut his eyes for the inevitable. "PK SHEILD!" But it never came. Sombra opened his eyes to find himself in a sheild of sorts. He looked a little further to see a bi pedaled creature with what looked like a helmet mask on it's head. On it's right arm was what looked to be a weapon of sorts and on his back was a device that shot out bat wings, he wore a white glove on his left and had on a black like jacket of sorts on, he also had on orange pants and black shoes. What stood out the most though was the long golden sword he had in his left claw. also he stood around the same height as Claus. "Wh-what the?!" Celestia shouted "Who the heck are you!?" Claus asked "...." The Masked Man didn't say anything but sent lightning twords Celestia, Luna, and Claus as a distraction. It worked as the three just barley dodged it and by the time the tried to look at the attacker he and Sombra had already disappeared. "Who was that?" Luna asked The Masked Man and Sombra teleported just outside the castle where they both neild in front of a shadowy figure and another that was very tall and looked like it had multiple legs. "Excelent." The multi-legged shadow said, "See master, obediant." "And all it took was just some random human who mysteriously landed in our hideout to create a masterpeice my apprentice." The shadowy figure said "What now my master?" Sombra asked "We will continue to spy on the boy, if we can get him when he is alone, mabey we can make him not an enemy, but an Ally." Funeral for a Mage (Short filter chapter)Ponyville, it was a happy place if youu could get past some of the crazy ponies and always bright and cheerful. Today however was a dark and gloomy day. Rain clouds were everywhere and lots of ponies were at the graveyard, for today was the funeral of a 1,000 year old mage by the name of Ace_Attorneyfan800. The only one who wasn't present was Claus who said he didn't want to go because it reminded him too much of his father's sacrifice to save him. Celestia and Luna understood and let Blueblood watch over him while they went to his funerl in his homeland of Ponyville. Celestia was stricken with sadness, she hadn't felt this sad since she had to banish Luna to the moon, but yet this one was a personal one. She knew Ace_Attorneyfan800 his whole life. She remembered when he had just become her student and how he learned magic so quickly to the point where he gained his cutie mark of the planet. She knew that in the legend of the eight melodies all decedents of Ninten, Ness, and lucas had this cutie mark and she thought that he was the chosen one. She let him try and solve the riddle and every four years he got a step closer. However when he became ninety-nine he was slowly dying. She didn't want to see her old student who rose to the rank of the mage die so she gave him eternal life like an alicorn, however, she didn't count on it turning him back into his filly form. It didn't matter to her, she just didn't want to see him go, and the coincidental thing was, was that he didn't want to go either. Now at the age of 1,005 he was dead. It struck her hard. She gave him eternal life only for it to end with something he didn't even intend to happen. She was quietly wishing she could've saved him, but she knew it would never come true. Once somepony was dead they were gone, forever, and Celestia couldn't even fathom it. The sisters each said what needed to be said about him. However, Celestia said that if it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have become the mare she would be today. In truth she was right. When she was in the dumps he helped her through everything, even when she banished her sister he told her words of wisdom that helped keep her going when she was in doubt, and those words were,"Though we usually feel down about ourselfs after things we didn't intend to happen happen. We have to keep looking twords the future no matter what hapens. Even when things look grim just keep your eyes open for a better tomorrow." Those words stucked to her like concreat and she never forgot them. The casket was being lowered when Celestia finally let all her tears out, even Luna cried some, but through the whole thing she was strong. Meanwhile... Claus felt doubt. He doubted he could save anyone after Ace_Attorneyfan800's death. Blueblood reassured him that even if he did get to him in time, he said there wouldn't have been anything he could've done. Claus knew he wasn't strong, but he could've tried something, even if it meant getting in the way.Claus just sighed sadly as he looked out the window. "Mourning my death I see?" Claus turned around to see Ace_Attorneyfan800 as ghost behind him. "Yup I'm a ghost. But the only reason is that I'm here to tell you this Claus, you need to solve the riddle now." Claus was shocked. When I merge I will be gone forever, you will gain the knowledge of how to solve the riddle though, because I've already solved it, I just want you to do it, because in my state I just can't do it anymore. You'll also learn the PSI moves I have which are: PK Thunder, PK Freeze, PK Flash, PK Fire, and PK Starstorm. Well II'm ready whenever you are." Claus looked at the ground for a minute and then looked back at the ghost and nodded. "Claus....tell Celestia, that I always loved her." "I will." And with that Claus closed his eyes as the spirit statrted joining with him and when he opened his eyes he was no longer there. Claus said as he went to Blueblood's location Just as he began to follow Blueblood Claus herd the voice of Ace_Attorneyfan800's voice for what would be the last time, but did what he told him to do, and kept smiling. Blueblood said, "And yes I am sure about this, last time auntie was this sad Ace_Attorneyfan800 was there to help her, but he's not, however, before he left this world he taught me how to take care of auntie in a time like this, so watch the master." Claus said The two saw the sisters and Claus piety-ed them because he knew what it was like to lose someone close to you, but for some reason he didn't wan't to cry about his father. He figured it must've had something to with Ace_Attorneyfan800's soul. "Auntie are you alright?" Bluebloood asked Celestia "No, somepony important to me has been taken away from me." Celestia moaped "Chin up auntie, he would've wanted you to be happy no matter what." Blueblood reassured "Um, auntie." Claus said, "Their's something I need to tell you." "What is it?" Celestia asked sadly "I was visited by Ace_Attorneyfan800's spirint and he merged his soul with mine, also he wanted me to tell you, that he always loved you." Claus said "R-really?" Celestia asked in shock "Really auntie." Claus said Celestia then smiled as she went over to Claus and hugged him. "Then maybe I didn't lose him after all." celestia said happily as she cried tears of joy "It's okay auntie, let it all out." Claus said Claus then looked at Luna who was smiling at him and he smiled back. Then all of a sudden it hit Claus like a truck to the face. He got out of Celestia's embrace and was smiling. "Auntie! I've solved the riddle!" Claus shouted "R-riddle?" Celestia asked confussed "Auntie tell me the riddle from the legend!" Claus asked "O-okay, The path of the warrior is hard and tough, while the path of the mage has enough, while the king's power is quite the fright, only with it can there be light." Said the one with the bandanna around his neck "You've solved our riddle." Said the one in the yellow and blue striped shirt "And now you will gain our powers, but before we forget." Said the one in the yellow and red stripped shirt "I'm Ninten." Said the bandanna one "I'm Ness." said the one next to Ninten "And I'm Lucas." said the one next to Ness "The ones from the legend!" Celestia said "Indeed." Ninten stated "But I thought the legend was a myth!" Luna stated "Oh it's real and so is Guigas." Ness said "Guigas?!" Claus asked "Spelled G U I G A S, but pernounced as guy gas." Ninten explained "It's now all up to you to find the melodies now, we can't because we're dead." Lucas said, "But don't be afraid that's what he wants you to be!" "You will have friends along side your journey to find the melodies, in fact they will leave with you when you leave for the first melody which is right here in Canterlot." Ness stated "We would tell you where it was exactly, but where's the fun in a challenge?" Ninten asked "None." Lucas said "Don't be sad though, once you find the first melody my wisdom combined with your powers will tell you where the next one is and so on and so forth." Ness stated "But we've stalled for long enough, lets do what has to be done." Ninten said as he went in front of Claus, "I will give you my power and with it will come my PK Techno, PK Shield, Brain Shock, and Mana Magnet." And just like that Ninten turned into light and circled around Claus until he vanished into his chest where he spread throughout his entire body making him stronger. "Now I will give you my wisdom." Ness added, "With it will come my: PK Rockin, Offense Up, Defense Down, and PK Lifeup." Ness then turned into light and circled around Claus for a minute just like Ninten, only this time he headed for Claus's brain making him smarter and giving him psychic powers to let him sense where others were and some of the future. "And now my courage. With it will come: PK Love and PK Healing." And with that Lucas turned into the final ball of light and circled around Claus until going right into his chest and straight for his heart giving him courage and strength to carry on if in a fight. Then everything felt silent and Claus looked at Celestia with determination in his eyes. "Claus? Is that you son?" Luna asked "Yes. I'm fine mother." Claus stated "Now what?" "And today was the day of the last mage's burial so tomorrow should lighten up the mood with the party that's going to happen." Claus said "H-how did you-" Luna was however cut off from Claus "When Ness gave his wisdom to me he also gave me his psychic powers and some ability to see into the future but not too far." "Oh! Well that explains it." "Also Blueblood, try to NOT act like a jerk this time like at the Grand Galloping Galla." Claus said "I was under pressure last time! I wanted to make sure I acted good in front of Auntie that I completely forgot about my manners to a lady!" Claus's dad and Lucas said as Claus walked into the kitchen Claus was around 4 foot 1 and had bright brown hair, his hair styal was mostly flat except for a tip pointing up, he had green eyes and a blue shirt with multiple yellow stripes going across it, orange pants, and blue shoes with white socks. "Claus!" Lucas said as he came in front of Claus carrying a present, "I got what you wanted!" Lucas was eight years old, he had black hair with blue eyes, his hair styal was what he would look like if he just came out of bed, messy, he had on a white shirt and blue jeans with black converse sneakers and no one could see his socks because his blue jeans covered them, and he was roughly two inches shorter that Claus. Luna said All of a sudden Luna's train of thought was interrupted by a royal guard calling out her name. "Princess Luna a strange creature has been spotted near your bedroom!" The royal guard said "Lead us to it!" Luna ordered Claus awoke not hearing a thing meaning the song must've stopped playing. He opened his eyes to see he wasn't in the basement anymore, but in some grand hallway you'd see in a cartoon or fairy tale. Claus got up and decided to investigate where he was and spotted two doors. Both guarded by two guards that looked like ponies, and Claus knew if he was going to get anywhere he'll have to look behind the doors. Claus then got up from the floor and headed twords the doors. "Stop right there foul creature!" Claus turned his head to see another guard pony accompanied by a taller blue pony, Claus became terrified and ran for the doors only to to be grabbed by the guards that were next to the door. Claus thought that this would be it, but then he remembered that he still had his baseball bat with him and with one swing knocked out both guards with a "SMAAAAASH!" knocking them out. Claus quickly went into the room only to be cornered when he reached the balcony. Claus then turned to see the blue pony and guard from earlier. Claus knew that the only way he'd make it out of this was to fight, he swinged up his bat and got into a battle ready pose. "He looks like he's ready to attack Princess Luna!" the guard shouted, "Should I take him!" "Let him attack sir guard." Luna said, "It'll be pointless anyways." Claus charged and all of a sudden jumped to eye level and swinged his bat so hard it sent Luna flying across to the other side of the room, just as the guard could attack Claus swinged his bat at the guard and sent him flying into the hallway knocking him unconscious. Luna got up from where she was knocked over to to see the guard that escorted her get knocked into the hallway. "This creature is stronger than we thought." Luna said to herself All of a sudden Celestia walked in to see Claus. "Is this the creature?" Celestia asked "It is Tia, but don't mock it's strength it's tougher than it looks!" Luna stated "I'm not an it I'm a human being!" Claus shouted "It can talk!?" Luna shouted confused "Of coarse I can talk why wouldn't I?" Claus said "Luna I feel a great unease in him." Please, just take good care of my only son. Sincerely, Robert Lewis, old father of Claus." Celestia lowered the note and looked at Claus who was about to break into tears. She sat down and picked him up with levitation and brought him over to her where he wrapped his arms around her neck and laid his head on her neck and cried. "It's okay little one, let it all out." Celestia said as she put her wings behind Claus, "Luna write a letter to Twilight and her friends to come here, they should see Claus here." "At once my sister, Luna said

Claus said "Where did he come from?" Twilight asked "He's from another world, a world that is now nothing but gone." Celestia answered, "In other words he is now the last of his kind." This made the others gasp. "Poor thing." Fluttershy said hugging Claus "What hurts even more is that he is no more than nine years old." Celestia said, "He lost his father, and his friend." Everyone looked to see Chrysalis standing in the middle of the open doors with two changeling guards to her left and right. "Well, well, well, isn't this a pleasant surprise." Chrysalis said giving Claus chills "Chrysalis!" Everyone but Claus shouted "What are you doing here!" Celestia shouted with anger "I didn't come here on my own accord, the master wanted me too get something for him." Chrysalis replied "And what is that!" Luna said Chrysalis then pointed at Claus scaring him. "I want the boy!" Chrysalis stated "I won't let you have him!" Twilight stated charging up her horn Chrysalis's horn then glowed and the next thing everyone knew Claus was next to Chrysalis in the air by levitation. "You were saying?" Chrysalis Claus then looked at Luna and shouted something that shocked everyone. "MOMMY! HELP ME!"

"Don't! Touch! My! SON!" Luna shouted the last word with her royal canterlot voice "Meep!" Chrysalis squeaked Luna then brought a hoof up and punched Chrysalis in the chest and sent her flying. "Guards! Attack!" Chrysalis shouted with whatever breath she had left The two guards that aided Chrysalis did as told and in a few seconds had Luna pinned down. Chrysalsis then called upon the rest of the hive to help and in a few seconds the room was filled with changelings. Claus became scared then found himself being dragged by two changeling drones tword Chrysalis. Claus then turned his head around to see Luna getting beaten to a pulp. "M-MOMMY!" Claus shouted in fear Claus then struggled to get out of the hold of the changelings' and help his mommy, but the changelings' strength was too much. "Fool. Say goodbye to these pitiful ponies, forever." Thee last word. That last word was all it took for Claus to finally lose it. "No. I! WON'T!" Claus shouted as lighting struck him from nowhere and the hold on him dissapeared Everyone, even the changelings that were attacking the ponies looked at Claus with shocked looks, Luna was just looking at him in fear even Chrysalis herself was starting to get a little scared. "Wh-what's going on!?" Chrysalis shouted in fear, "And what in the blazes is that noise!" "I won't! Let you! Hurt! My! MOMMY!" Claus shouted as lightning surrounded him and his eyes turned white All of a sudden he stretched his arms out and and pointed his hands upwards stretching his fingers as well, then all of a sudden a glow began to appear from his hands. "PKAAAAAAY!" Claus began "CAN'T WE TALK THIS OVER!" Chrysalis shouted "LIGHTNIIIIIIIIINNNNNG!" Claus shouted as giant lightning shot from his hands and twords Chrysalis Everyone but Luna shut their eyes as they saw the lightning make contact with Chrysalis and a loud scream could be heard and then it all came to a stop. Everyone opened their eyes to see a pile of ash where Chrysalis once stood and spooked everyone. Claus opened his eyes after shutting them for a minute to see a pile of ash where Chrysalis once was and he got so scared he jumped back in fright. "Wh-wh-wh-wh-what happened?!" Claus asked scared out of his mind The other changelings fled while they still had time and all that was there now was Celestia and the others while Discord was literally tide up into a knot, while the CMC and Spike helped get him untangled Luna and the others went over to Claus with looks of fear or shocked looks. "H-h-how did you do that?" Twilight asked in amazement "I-I-I-I-I-I did that?" Claus asked shocked, "Bu-bu-bu-but how?" "I wish I knew." Twilight said still in amazement "It seems Claus has more to him than we thought." Celestia stated "Could it be magic?" Rarity asked "Rarity I can honestly say, I don't know." Celestia said "Let me see." Luna said as she went over to Claus and per her horn on his head Luna then charged up her horn and used a spell that would allow her to see if Claus had magic or not, once she was do she had a face of glee. "Well, well, well, aren't you special." Luna said "Huh? Mommy what do you mean?" Claus asked "You have psychic powers called P.S.I inside you." Luna answered, "It grows stronger and stronger with every victory with new moves for you to do as you go." "B-but that can't be!" Claus said, "I was born a normal kid, even my dad said so and he would never lie to me!" "You mean you were unaware of your power?" Celestia asked "I guess so." Claus said said sadly, "But how am I suppost to control it?" "I can help you." Twilight said "Huh?" Claus said, "How?" "Well I don't really know anything about PSI, but from what Luna told us it doesn't sound that much different from magic." Twilight said "Thank you then Twilight." Claus said "You can just call me Auntie Twilight." Twilight said "Thank you then Auntie Twilight." Claus said "Twilight, thank you for you and your friends for coming." Celestia said "Your welcome Celestia." Twilight said Spike and the crusaders taking this chance went up to Claus. "Hey nice to meet you!" Spike said to Claus "N-nice to meet you too." Claus replied "I'm Spike the dragon! But I'm just a baby dragon." "Ah'm Applebloom!" Applebloom said "I'm Sweetie Belle!" Sweetie Belle added "And I'm Scootaloo!" Scootaloo finished "And together we make the CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!" the three shouted together "What's a cutie mark?" Claus asked "A cutie mark is what appears on your rump once you find out what your special talent is." Spike explained "Oh well that makes sense." Claus said "Really?" Spike asked "No." Claus replied "Spike, girls, come on we're leaving!" Twilight shouted "Sorry, maybe we'll see each other again." Spike said as he and the cmc left with Twilight and the others "Will I see him again?" Claus said to a Sweetie Belle wearing Phoenix Wright's outfit with a attorney badge cutie mark "Ya, but not until chapter 5." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said in a kid/teenager voice "Ya I'm 14 and I still have little bit of a kid voice, sue me." All of a sudden he disappeared leaving Claus alone with Luna and Celestia. "Claus who were you talking to?" Luna asked "Nobody mom." Claus replied All of a sudden Claus let out a yawn making Luna giggle. "It seems like somepony is sleepy." Luna said "Well Lulu that's to be expected with all that has happened today." Celestia stated, "Why don't you let me put him to bed." "Go ahead, I'll take over while you put him to bed." Luna said "Come on nephew." Celestia said as she levitated Claus onto her back Meanwhile.... A black show rested on the mountain looking into the castle through a telescope. "All according to plan." "But master Chrysalis got killed!" "Quiet apprentice! She was weak anyways." "Now what? He's learned Pk Lightning and lighting is his favorite thing!" "Let him learn all the moves for all I care it'll prove pointless anyways." "But what if he learns of the eight melodies int the eight sanctuarys'!" "Like I said, It'll be pointless, in the end when I'm done those thingswon't even make a scratch on me." "Master what if he gains some ponies or that derconequis to help him?" Legend of the Eight MelodiesAs Celestia walked down the halls to Luna's bedroom she looked at Claus who was getting more tired by the second. "I guess using PK Lightning really took a lot out of you." Celestia said to her tired nephew "I guess so." Claus said, "Um does being Luna's son make me a prince?" "Yes it does, congratulations." Soon enough the two made it to their destination and Celestia put Claus to bed. "Auntie, can tell me a story before you go?" Claus asked "Of coarse my nephew." Celestia said, "Years ago, before even I or Luna was born, and Equestria was first starting out, there were three foals: Ninten, Ness, and Lucas. What the three foals had in common is that they were earth ponies who could do magic by psychic ability's. Most thought they were cursed, some thought they were blessed, however, their parents loved them either way. One day a derconequis appeared, not Disocrd, but another, he attacked and defeated the citizens of Equestria and ruled with an iron fist. Ninten, Ness, and Lucas seeing Equestria in need of help created the eight melodies, and when combined created a song that would turn the blackest of hearts pure good. However, they instead turned the derconequis into pure shadow mist and was banished from Equestria. Ninten, Ness, and Lucas knew he would return one day and go after the eight melodies to try and destroy them, so in order to make sure he didn't they hid the melodies in eight sanctuary locations all throughout Equestria. And to make sure they didn't fall into the wrong hoofs it was proficized that only a chosen one would wield them, and for more protection a riddle was placed to where once a true pure good soul answered the riddle a light would emit from the one giving the one Ninten's power, Ness's wisdom, and Lucas's courage. And the riddle was: 'The path of the warrior is hard and tough, while the path of the mage has enough, while the king's power is quite the fright, only with it can there be light." After Celestia finished she looked to see Claus close his eyes. She used her magic to tuck him in and gave him a kiss on his forehead. "Sleep tight my little nephew." Celestia said as she left and turned out the light It had been eight hours since Claus fell asleep and it was now 4:30. "Ooooh auntieeee!" came a voice that Celestia recognized "Oh Blueblood I didn't expect to see you." Celestia said as she turned her attention away from a phoenix wright suited Sweetie Belle Blueblood took notice of the filly and went up to him. "Ace_Attorneyfan800 thank you again for finally putting me in one of your fics!" Blueblood said with glee "Well least I could do considering your number 4 in my top ten favorite ponies and you haven't even been in one of my fics before." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said, "I'm serious readers he is. Why you ask? Well I'm gonna make a blog post centered around that eventually." "Anyways, auntie I need to barrow some money for a date." Bluebblood said "How much exactly?" Celestia asked "Oh just 100 bits is all, the restaurant me and my date are going to kind of expensive and I want to make sure I have enough." Blueblood answered "Well that's a first." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said "Well your the one writing me!" Blueblood stated "Good point." Ace_Attorneyfan800 replied "Well then here you go." Celestia said as she teleported in a bit bag with the amount Blueblood needed inside it "Thank you auntie!" Blueblood said as he left "Well now that he's gone we can now get back to our disscusion." Celestia said "Agreed." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said, "So like we were talking about before, do you really believe he's back?" "I don't know for sure, but something feels off. Do you think he's back?" "Celestia all I can honestly say is this, I don't know. Not even my powers alone could find him if he was back it would take Ninten's, Ness's, Lucas's combined with my power to find him." "Then you may leave now mage." "Yes Celestia." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said as he left "If what Ace_Attornreyfan800 told me is true, then he must find the eight melodies and solve the riddle if he is the one who will save us all in the end." Claus awoke from his slumber with a yawn to see his mom Luna reading a book. "Claus you're awake!" Luna said putting the book down, "Are you feeling alright now?" "Ya I guess so." Claus said "Well Claus i just wanted to tell you that during your slumber I filled out some forums and now you are my official son." Luna said with glee "Really?" Claus asked with the same glee "Yes, now you will be known as Prince Claus!" Luna stated "That actually has a nice ring to it." Claus said "And soon all of Equestria will know in two days for me and my sister plan on announcing it to all of Equestria!" Luna added "I-I'm not sure if everyone needs to know of me." Claus said a little nervous "Do not fear my son for if anypony tries to harm you they will have to feel our wrath first and your PK Lightning if you have to use it." "Okay." "Now come along Claus dinner will begin soon." In a room in the castle Ace_Attorneyfan800 was writing on a scroll with a feather and ink. He was copying down the riddle from the Legend of the Eight Melodies. "And done." Ace_Attorneyfan800 exclaimed as he rolled up the finished scroll, "Now I need to give this to him before this falls into the wrong hands!" All of a sudden the open door to his room suddenly shut and the light of his candle went out. "*Huff* this is what I get for not messing with light bulbs too much." Ace_attorneyfan800 said as he turned on a lamination spell Ace_Attorneyfan800 then tried to leave only to find the door locked. "Nuts! This is what I get for not having a key to-wait a minute. This door doesn't even have a lock!" Ace_Attorney fan shouted, "How the he-" "Hehehehehehe." Ace_Attorneyfan800 froze in place as he heard that laughter. He knew it all too well. "Sombra!" Ace_Attorneyfan800 shouted as he turned to see the king himself, "How the heck are you still alive!" "My master brought me back to life and told me to stop you from bringing that riddle to 'him." Sombra explained, "This'll be easy considering you only know Ace Attorney magic." "You'll find that I'm more deadlier than I look." Ace_Attorneyfan said as his cutiemark changed form a attorney badge to planet earth, "PK FREEZE!" All of a sudden a ball of ice shot from Ace_Attorneyfan800's horn and shot Sombra freezing him. "Heh. Typical." Ace_Attorneyfan800 said All of a sudden the ice started breaking. Ace_Attorneyfan800 started to panic he knew Sombra would break out, but not this early. Ace_Attorneyfan800 then focused on teleporting the scroll to "him" and sent it away just as Sombra broke out. "Very clever." Sombra said "Well I am a descendant of Ninten, Ness, and Lucas." Ace_Attornyfan800 stated "No matter, one shall stand, one shall fall." Sombra said "If I die today, I'll go down with you!" Ace_Attorneyfan800 said as he charged up his horn, "PK STARSTOOOORM!"
The Masked Man (Short filter chapter)As Luna and Claus were walking to the dining room the whole castle shook and the two looked out a window to see a section of the castle get hit by falling rock. Claus then got a bad memory of his father's sacrifice and ran away to see if he could help. "Claus where are you going!" Luna asked "To see if anyone needs my help over there!" Claus shouted Luna then proceded to follow him in order to make sure he didn't hurt himself. Celestia felt the shock too, but it wasn't just the castle that made her worried. "Ace_Attorneyfan800!" Celestia shouted in worry Celestia then ran twords where the shock came from and saw Claus and Luna doing the same. In two minutes the shock stopped, but the runners hearts didn't. The threes hearts were racing, Claus didn't know where he was going, but for some reason he knew where to go. The three then found rubble where Ace_Attorneyfan800's room used to be, but then the three saw the middle of the room the three gasped in shock. In the middle was the body of Ace_Attorneyfan800, not moving. Celestia walked up to the body and placed a hoof on his neck, she then cried. "Wh-Tia what is it?" Luna asked in worry "He's-he's not going to make it." Celestia said sadly "No! He can't! He's the only one who's ever gotten close to solving the riddle of the eight melodies!" Luna shouted in sadness with anger All of a sudden a scroll landed in Claus's hands. Luna picked it up and examined it. "Looks like he wants you to solve the riddle now Claus." Luna said "But, why would he do this?" Celestia asked, "He was the last mage in all of Equestria!" As if an answer to her question King Sombra dropped from what remained of the ceiling all bruised up and on the brink of death himself. He struggled to get up and when he did he saw the body of Ace_Attorneyfan800 and laughed. "Hahahahaha! I knew that fool couldn't kill me! Especialy with his PK Starstorm!" Sombra laughed weakly "Sombra!" Celestia shouted with a lot of anger "YOU WILL PAY!" Celestia then shot a beam of pure fire at Sombra. Sombra became terrified and shut his eyes for the inevitable. "PK SHEILD!" But it never came. Sombra opened his eyes to find himself in a sheild of sorts. He looked a little further to see a bi pedaled creature with what looked like a helmet mask on it's head. On it's right arm was what looked to be a weapon of sorts and on his back was a device that shot out bat wings, he wore a white glove on his left and had on a black like jacket of sorts on, he also had on orange pants and black shoes. What stood out the most though was the long golden sword he had in his left claw. also he stood around the same height as Claus. "Wh-what the?!" Celestia shouted "Who the heck are you!?" Claus asked "...." The Masked Man didn't say anything but sent lightning twords Celestia, Luna, and Claus as a distraction. It worked as the three just barley dodged it and by the time the tried to look at the attacker he and Sombra had already disappeared. "Who was that?" Luna asked The Masked Man and Sombra teleported just outside the castle where they both neild in front of a shadowy figure and another that was very tall and looked like it had multiple legs. "Excelent." The multi-legged shadow said, "See master, obediant." "And all it took was just some random human who mysteriously landed in our hideout to create a masterpeice my apprentice." The shadowy figure said "What now my master?" Sombra asked "We will continue to spy on the boy, if we can get him when he is alone, mabey we can make him not an enemy, but an Ally." Funeral for a Mage (Short filter chapter)Ponyville, it was a happy place if youu could get past some of the crazy ponies and always bright and cheerful. Today however was a dark and gloomy day. Rain clouds were everywhere and lots of ponies were at the graveyard, for today was the funeral of a 1,000 year old mage by the name of Ace_Attorneyfan800. The only one who wasn't present was Claus who said he didn't want to go because it reminded him too much of his father's sacrifice to save him. Celestia and Luna understood and let Blueblood watch over him while they went to his funerl in his homeland of Ponyville. Celestia was stricken with sadness, she hadn't felt this sad since she had to banish Luna to the moon, but yet this one was a personal one. She knew Ace_Attorneyfan800 his whole life. She remembered when he had just become her student and how he learned magic so quickly to the point where he gained his cutie mark of the planet. She knew that in the legend of the eight melodies all decedents of Ninten, Ness, and lucas had this cutie mark and she thought that he was the chosen one. She let him try and solve the riddle and every four years he got a step closer. However when he became ninety-nine he was slowly dying. She didn't want to see her old student who rose to the rank of the mage die so she gave him eternal life like an alicorn, however, she didn't count on it turning him back into his filly form. It didn't matter to her, she just didn't want to see him go, and the coincidental thing was, was that he didn't want to go either. Now at the age of 1,005 he was dead. It struck her hard. She gave him eternal life only for it to end with something he didn't even intend to happen. She was quietly wishing she could've saved him, but she knew it would never come true. Once somepony was dead they were gone, forever, and Celestia couldn't even fathom it. The sisters each said what needed to be said about him. However, Celestia said that if it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have become the mare she would be today. In truth she was right. When she was in the dumps he helped her through everything, even when she banished her sister he told her words of wisdom that helped keep her going when she was in doubt, and those words were,"Though we usually feel down about ourselfs after things we didn't intend to happen happen. We have to keep looking twords the future no matter what hapens. Even when things look grim just keep your eyes open for a better tomorrow." Those words stucked to her like concreat and she never forgot them. The casket was being lowered when Celestia finally let all her tears out, even Luna cried some, but through the whole thing she was strong. Meanwhile... Claus felt doubt. He doubted he could save anyone after Ace_Attorneyfan800's death. Blueblood reassured him that even if he did get to him in time, he said there wouldn't have been anything he could've done. Claus knew he wasn't strong, but he could've tried something, even if it meant getting in the way.Claus just sighed sadly as he looked out the window. "Mourning my death I see?" Claus turned around to see Ace_Attorneyfan800 as ghost behind him. "Yup I'm a ghost. But the only reason is that I'm here to tell you this Claus, you need to solve the riddle now." Claus was shocked. "Shocked? We I expected that. Claus I know what you're thinking, 'But where do I start?' well I'm going to be merging my soul with your souls." Claus then got a surprised look. "Claus. When I merge I will be gone forever, you will gain the knowledge of how to solve the riddle though, because I've already solved it, I just want you to do it, because in my state I just can't do it anymore. You'll also learn the PSI moves I have which are: PK Thunder, PK Freeze, PK Flash, PK Fire, and PK Starstorm. Well II'm ready whenever you are." Claus looked at the ground for a minute and then looked back at the ghost and nodded. "Claus....tell Celestia, that I always loved her." "I will." And with that Claus closed his eyes as the spirit statrted joining with him and when he opened his eyes he was no longer there. "Claus....keep smiling." said the voice of Ace_Attorneyfan800 Claus simply smiled and said, "I will." "Claus, come on we have to go and greet auntie Celestia and Luna!" Blueblood said from the next room "Coming Blueblood!" Claus said as he went to Blueblood's location Just as he began to follow Blueblood Claus herd the voice of Ace_Attorneyfan800's voice for what would be the last time, but did what he told him to do, and kept smiling. "Claus...you're a great kid you know that?" "Yes Ace_Attorneyfan800, yes I do."
The Answer To the RiddleBlueblood and Claus made their way over to the palace entrance to greet Celestia and Luna. "Blueblood are you sure about this?" Claus asked "Please Claus you're part of the royal family now. You can call me cousin." Blueblood said, "And yes I am sure about this, last time auntie was this sad Ace_Attorneyfan800 was there to help her, but he's not, however, before he left this world he taught me how to take care of auntie in a time like this, so watch the master." "If you say so cousin." Claus said The two saw the sisters and Claus piety-ed them because he knew what it was like to lose someone close to you, but for some reason he didn't wan't to cry about his father. He figured it must've had something to with Ace_Attorneyfan800's soul. "Auntie are you alright?" Bluebloood asked Celestia "No, somepony important to me has been taken away from me." Celestia moaped "Chin up auntie, he would've wanted you to be happy no matter what." Blueblood reassured "Um, auntie." Claus said, "Their's something I need to tell you." "What is it?" Celestia asked sadly "I was visited by Ace_Attorneyfan800's spirint and he merged his soul with mine, also he wanted me to tell you, that he always loved you." Claus said "R-really?" Celestia asked in shock "Really auntie." Claus said Celestia then smiled as she went over to Claus and hugged him. "Then maybe I didn't lose him after all." celestia said happily as she cried tears of joy "It's okay auntie, let it all out." Claus said Claus then looked at Luna who was smiling at him and he smiled back. Then all of a sudden it hit Claus like a truck to the face. He got out of Celestia's embrace and was smiling. "Auntie! I've solved the riddle!" Claus shouted "R-riddle?" Celestia asked confussed "Auntie tell me the riddle from the legend!" Claus asked "O-okay, The path of the warrior is hard and tough, while the path of the mage has enough, while the king's power is quite the fright, only with it can there be light." The answer to the riddle is Power, Wisdom, and Courage!" All of a sudden a light emitted from Claus and three ponies in different clothing appeared as light infront of Claus. "Congratulations Claus." Said the one with the bandanna around his neck "You've solved our riddle." Said the one in the yellow and blue striped shirt "And now you will gain our powers, but before we forget." Said the one in the yellow and red stripped shirt "I'm Ninten." Said the bandanna one "I'm Ness." said the one next to Ninten "And I'm Lucas." said the one next to Ness "The ones from the legend!" Celestia said "Indeed." Ninten stated "But I thought the legend was a myth!" Luna stated "Oh it's real and so is Guigas." Ness said "Guigas?!" Claus asked "Spelled G U I G A S, but pernounced as guy gas." Ninten explained "It's now all up to you to find the melodies now, we can't because we're dead." Lucas said, "But don't be afraid that's what he wants you to be!" "You will have friends along side your journey to find the melodies, in fact they will leave with you when you leave for the first melody which is right here in Canterlot." Ness stated "We would tell you where it was exactly, but where's the fun in a challenge?" Ninten asked "None." Lucas said "Don't be sad though, once you find the first melody my wisdom combined with your powers will tell you where the next one is and so on and so forth." Ness stated "But we've stalled for long enough, lets do what has to be done." Ninten said as he went in front of Claus, "I will give you my power and with it will come my PK Techno, PK Shield, Brain Shock, and Mana Magnet." And just like that Ninten turned into light and circled around Claus until he vanished into his chest where he spread throughout his entire body making him stronger. "Now I will give you my wisdom." Ness added, "With it will come my: PK Rockin, Offense Up, Defense Down, and PK Lifeup." Ness then turned into light and circled around Claus for a minute just like Ninten, only this time he headed for Claus's brain making him smarter and giving him psychic powers to let him sense where others were and some of the future. "And now my courage. With it will come: PK Love and PK Healing." And with that Lucas turned into the final ball of light and circled around Claus until going right into his chest and straight for his heart giving him courage and strength to carry on if in a fight. Then everything felt silent and Claus looked at Celestia with determination in his eyes. "Claus? Is that you son?" Luna asked "Yes. I'm fine mother." Claus stated "Now what?" Blueblood asked "I'm going to look for the first melody." Claus answered "Now?!" Celestia asked a little worried "No. Not now. After Equestria has been told of my appearance." Claus stated, "I will go approximately two days after the ceremony so that the royal guards don't get worried and try to go after me, but if that doesn't work you can always tell them for me right?" "We will." Luna said "Well I've rambled on for long enough, I believe a certain someone is going to be announced to Equestria in tomorrow?" Claus stated "Oh right!" Luna said, "After all yesterday was when I told you that I was going to announce you as my son to all of Equestria." "And today was the day of the last mage's burial so tomorrow should lighten up the mood with the party that's going to happen." Claus said "H-how did you-" Luna was however cut off from Claus "When Ness gave his wisdom to me he also gave me his psychic powers and some ability to see into the future but not too far." "Oh! Well that explains it." "Also Blueblood, try to NOT act like a jerk this time like at the Grand Galloping Galla." Claus said "I was under pressure last time! I wanted to make sure I acted good in front of Auntie that I completely forgot about my manners to a lady!" Blueblood shouted "I know it wasn't your fault Blueblood, but auntie probably just wanted you to be yourself, right auntie?" "Indeed nephew Claus." Celestia stated "Well, if you want that auntie I will try." Blueblood said "Something tells me if the real life Ace_Attorneyfan800 became a writer for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and had to write you, he'd do a darn good job of redeeming you." "Well I AM his 4th favorite pony!" Blueblood said, "Right Tivon Arnold?" "Eeyup." I said giving my best Big Mac impression
