"Oh..."

Spike looked visibly surprised when Barb had gently laid a finger on his lips, a gentle smile on her face. "...I won't get angry..." She spoke in a hushed tone. After that, she sat up right on Spike, whom was still pinned to the ground. She was fidgeting in place and a small blush was now visible on her face. "...I...Don't mind actually. So..." She said, looking at him with eyes that seemed to longed for something.

Spike could only stare at her in surprise, a blush visible on his face as well. Just how in the world did he manage to get into this situation? Pinned to the wooden floor by a cute girl with a hand dangerously close to her...

...

...Wait what?!

Spike did a double take and, indeed, found one of his dangerous close to her left breast. His face suddenly turned Crimson red as he began to sputter out incoherent words left and right, trying to salvage the situation. Though, despite this, he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of Déjà Vu.

Just how in the world did this happen?

"Barb! Come on! We're in serious trouble if we're late!" Spike yelled as he had suddenly got out of his seat and went straight to the front door of Sugarcube Corner. Noticing Barb whom was still in a daze from the melted chocolate in her mouth, he rushed over to her and dragged her by the wrist. "There's not much time! We have to hurry!"

Pulling her along, he had managed to produce a few bits from his pocket and threw them across the room towards Mr Cake, who grabbed them in surprise. Once this was done, he hurried along through the front door, turning his head back to the married couple. "Sorry for the short notice Mr and Mrs Cakes! We'll see you soon!" He exclaimed before turning back, failing to see the duo chuckle at him.

"Umm...! Wh-Why are we running?" Barb asked as she was continuously pulled along by Spike, holding her head as if there were an invisible hat. Her hair was waving along behind her like some majestic shade of purple streak.

"While you were happily eating..!" Spike yelled as he continued to run. "...I received a small note from Twilight saying that Mom was on her way!"

Barb looked at him as if he were lying but then remembered what Twilight had told her . His mother, although not biological, was one of the two Princesses of Equestria, Princess Celestia. Or...Was it Princess Celestial? She couldn't quite recall.

Luckily for them, the duo had reached the Library in the nick of time, where they saw the rest of the girls waiting outside. "Hey! We came as fast as we could!" Spike exclaimed, slowing down his pace as he and Barb had reached the group. The duo panted heavily as there was sweat glistening on their faces.

"Glad you made it. Hurry up! Rarity managed to finish a nice dress for Barb and you two really need to change. Despite Princess Celestia being your mom, it's still kinda rude" Twilight said, chuckling a little before her hands glowed purple, enveloping the door with the same magical glow.

She nudged the duo into the building before closing the door with her magic. Just before Spike could go back outside to ask where Barb's dress was at, Pinkie popped out of the door that was still glowing purple. "It's in the main bedroom, Spikey! Hurry hurry!" She exclaimed, flicking her wrist in a 'Now go' motion.

Spike ran up the stairs, his hand still held onto Barb's. The duo had entered the main bedroom, which looked much more tidier than before and found a dress laid neatly on the blue bed. It was a knee-long dress, emerald in colour with a few stripes running horizontally at the chest region. Aside from that, there were a few lavender flowers situated around the neck area.

Spike smirked. When worked under pressure, Rarity was capable of tripling her outputs, so it was no surprise to see it finished under a short span of time.

"Alright, go change. I need to fetch a brand new set of clothes to wear first" Spike said as he walked towards the nearby dresser and reached out to the lowest drawer, where it was filled with his clothing. Grabbing a clean set, a plain purple shirt with dark blue pants,he walked out the door and went to the bathroom to change, leaving Barb to change alone.

Needless to say, Spike was done dressing and went back, only to find Barb having a hard time in wearing the dress. The lavenders around the neck of the dress made it hard for her neck to squeeze through. Hearing the door opened, Barb turned around and wobbled in place. "Umm...H-Help...?" She asked in a pitiful tone.

Spike, being the ever so gentle guy that he was, sighed before tossing aside his old clothes. He could pick it up later anyways. Walking over to Barb, he tug the dress downwards. "Well...darn...This will be hard" He commented on how tough it was. After a few more attempts, he was getting frustrated due to having no progress made.

"Alright Barb. I will tug downwards and you must push your head upwards. It should be enough to stretch the neck for your head to pass" Spike said, earning a nod from underneath the dress. Counting down from three to one, Spike then tugged downwards while Barb did as was told.

However, unfortunately for Barb, she had missed her footing and had accidentally stepped on her foot, tripping and toppling forward onto Spike, who was surprised by the sudden motion, causing him to fall backwards due to their combined weight.

Spike sighed. Now he remembered how they had gotten into this awkward position. Closing his eyes and removed any negative thoughts, he opened them and stared at the emerald orbs in front of him. Awkwardly, he wrapped his arms around her waist, the blush on his face turning a much more darker shade. Just like what she asked for.

Despite his face feeling very hot, he couldn't help but feel calm as he felt Barb hum in his grasp. She had suddenly placed her hands on his shoulders as she crooned on his neck, acting very like a cat aside from the no evident purring sounds.

However, the duo had flinched when they suddenly heard the door open as the sounds of footsteps entered the room. The duo looked over the door and found themselves facing the girls along with two other individuals, whom Spike knew and suddenly dreaded.

As for Barb, she couldn't help but feel enthralled by their looks. The one on the left was wearing a pearl white silk dress with an image of a sun printed on one side with a few evident amethyst gems on her dress. In addition, she was wearing a golden crown that had an amethyst gem in the middle with other gemstones around it, a large golden necklace with even more gemstones, a few golden bracelets on her right hand. Her hair was free flowing on its own with the colours of the rainbow present, seemingly ethereal looking.

The one next to her was slightly shorter and was wearing a navy blue dress with a picture of a silver moon printed on one side. Just like the taller individual, she also wore a crown, although onyx in colour and had a large diamond in the middle, navy blue bracelets with a variety of gemstones and an equally large onyx necklace with diamonds situated around it. Her hair was also free flowing, navy blue in colour and seemed to glisten with the colour silver, as if it were the night sky.

The two individuals gawked at both Barb and Spike, who merely looked at them with a poker face. However, Barb's face was much more red than Spike's.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the taller figure spoke in a motherly tone. "Oh...Ahem...We do apologise for intruding your private moment, son" She said, her cheeks turning slight pink.

"No wait! I can explain!" Spike called out, trying to salvage the situation.

Pinkie, who was at the back of the group, started laughing out loudly, alongside Rainbow. "Wowieee! This will be fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!" She exclaimed, causing the rest of the group to cough awkwardly as Barb had suddenly fainted on top of Spike due to embarrassment.
