The Reunion Date
Epilogue
Previous ChapterDiscord woke up at the beginning of the day in bed, his arms wrapped around Celestia, his love. He felt her flowing mane on his chest, which felt warm like the sun, whom she was the bringer of. He looked down at her, and she was still gracefully asleep. He felt her body inflating and deflating as she breathed softly, no snoring at all. Discord thought she looked so beautiful in her sleep, her eyelids closed downwards lightly, and her white coat glowing in the morning light. He didn't want to shake her and wake her up, but he wanted to leave before she did get up. He remembered what had happened the night before, the night they came back together and repaired their love that had been long broken. They had talked, laughed, kissed, and had lots of fun loving one another. Discord sat up and yawned, stretching out his arms and popping every joint in his body. The sound still would not wake Celestia from her deep and peaceful sleep. He got out of bed and stood up, looking back at her sleeping there under the covers, in the middle of a puddle of his sweat. He decided to do one more little thing before he left. He walked over to her.
"I love you, my darling. Farewell" he said, and he kissed her horn.
Discord walked out of Celestia's bedroom and down the steps of the palace. He walked down the main hall, past the stained glass windows, but none of them was of him and Celestia in love. Only one that portrayed him in a negative view, such as being turned to stone by Twilight Sparkle. He then saw one blank window. He walked up to it, thought about something specific, and then tapped the window, which immediately lit up with magic as it was being decorated. When the decoration of the window was done, Discord looked at it, smiled, and walked out of the palace, out of Canterlot, and back to Fluttershy's garden, where he usually lived in his reformed days. But he would still remember that one night, the night so many years ago in which he and the young Celestia kissed on the porch of the palace, the night portrayed on a stained glass window in the main hall of the palace.
