Rarity was making her final preparations as the sun began to set over the peaceful town of Ponyville. All of the curtains in the Carousel Boutique had been drawn, Sweetie Bell was at home with her parents, and Rarity's "toy box" had been removed from the safe concealment of the closet and placed out in the open. She wanted to make sure everything was absolutely perfect before her playmate arrived.
Earlier in the day, she had instructed Rainbow Dash to arrive at her home promptly at sunset. This was their usual arrangement. "Are you kidding? There's no way I'd ever be late for this. I even went out and bought something special for the occasion." Dash nodded her head toward the bag hanging from her side and smiled devilishly.
"Really? What is it. Can I see?" Rarity's eyes were alight with curiosity as she contemplated what it could possibly be.
"It's what I'll be wearing tonight, and no, you can't see it yet." The smile on her face was both evil and seductive. It sent chills down Rarity's spine, and she felt like she was going to explode with anticipation if they didn't get to the scheduled events of the evening immediately.
"Why don't you go get dressed while I finish setting up in here?"
"Sounds good. I've been ready for this all day," Dash said excitedly.
Dash disappeared down the hall, and Rarity opened her toy box to select the items they would be using tonight. "No. No. Not that one again. That's something new. We haven't used this in a while. No. Not that one." She continued talking quietly to herself, picking out the toys they liked or hadn't used in a while, when she heard Rainbow Dash walking back down the hall. Rarity turned to see what her friend had selected, and her jaw hit the floor.
"Well, how do I look?" Dash smiled nervously, awaiting Rarity's approval. She was wearing a faux leather corset, a lace choker, and fishnet stockings on all four legs.
"It's... you... um... you look... it's magnificent!" Rarity was so struck by the outfit that she could barely form a cohesive sentence. She looked Dash over, unable to take her eyes away from the cyan mare's gorgeous body being hugged tightly by the outrageously sexy ensemble.
"Yeah. That's kinda the reaction I was going for." Dash said with a chuckle and a triumphant grin.
Rarity moved slowly forward, inching herself closer to the object of her lustful infatuation. She lightly brushed her hoof over the corset, then down her side to her flank. She gave Dash's flank a light swat, just forceful enough to sting a bit.
"Hey! That's my job," Dash said as she returned the favor... much harder. She was never one to enjoy the submissive role. "You ready?" She lightly growled the words as she gave another smack.

Without answering, Dash moved over to the toy box to select the appropriate item. After a little consideration, she grabbed two spreader bars and a bridle and bit. She walked over to Rarity and pulled her to where a chain was hanging from the ceiling. She attached a bar to the chain and forced Rarity's forelegs into the cuffs. She did the same with the second bar and her lower limbs. Dash walked around behind Rarity and slipped the bridle over her head, roughly forcing the bit into her mouth. Rarity let out a low whimper as Dash pulled the straps tight.
"You've been a naughty slave, haven't you?" Rarity replied with a furious nod. "You need to be punished, don't you?" Again, she nodded in response and moaned a garbled "Yes!!!" as she bit down on the bit in her mouth.
Dash walked back over to the box and selected a long riding crop, then proceeded to test its effectiveness by swatting the side of the box a few times. "This should do," she said with a devious grin. She walked back over to where Rarity was hanging and swatted the bar above her head to get the pitiful looking white mare's attention. Rarity instinctively flinched and whimpered, expectantly awaiting the first blow from her dominant partner.
Dash moved around in front of Rarity and placed the crop under her chin and lifted her head so their eyes met. She smiled at her friend and said "The signal for me to stop is three no's. No, no, no. Got it?" Rarity replied with a muffled "Nuh, nuh, nuh" Dash smiled and nodded. She was always concerned about injuring her friend, no matter how much fun she was having.
Having established a safe word, Dash's mood and expression quickly turned sinister. She smiled grimly at her purple maned friend and walked around to her side. Holding the crop between her teeth, she pulled back and quickly smacked the crop against Rarity's bare flank. She recoiled and squeaked in pain. The squeak was quickly followed by a low moan of pleasure.

Rarity's eyes opened wide. After a few seconds of staring at the extremely sharp instrument, she nodded nervously. She was unsure if she was ready to try blood letting just yet, but now was as good a time as any to find out.
Dash noticed the uncertainty of Rarity's expression. She moved around behind her and loosened the straps on the bridle. She pulled the bit out of Rarity's mouth and moved around to face her.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Rarity?" Concern flowed through Dash's voice. She wouldn't do anything her friend wasn't ready for. She definitely wouldn't do this without Rarity being ready.
"Of course, Darling. Why wouldn't I be?" She tried her best to hide her nerves, but the shakiness of her voice gave her away.
"Because you look terrified? If you don't want to, we can just stick with what we like." Dash reassured her, petting her mane lightly.
Rarity thought for a moment and steeled herself before answering. She wanted to try it. She had wanted to for a while. But the sight of the razor blade washed away all her confidence. Alright, you can do this, Rarity thought.
"I want to, Rainbow. I really do. Just go slow, alright?" Dash felt more comfortable after hearing Rarity's words.
"I wasn't planning to rush it anyway." Dash smiled darkly at Rarity and shoved the bit back into her mouth, pulling the straps even tighter than before. Every ounce of concern left her body, and she could already taste the blood. This is going to be awesome!
To reignite the mood, Dash picked up the crop and smacked Rarity's flank, leaving a long, thin red line across her rear. Dash was still aroused and more excited now than ever.
