Coco Pommel slowly breathed in the sweet morning air, smiling softly. Opening her eyes, she kicked off the crisp white sheets, stood up, and walked over to the stove to make breakfast. Coco watched the milk slosh into the pan, poured some powder and sugar, and let the pudding boil a little more before turning off the burner and eating it with and orange, washing it down with a glass of milk. Pudding was Coco's favorite food. Coco Pommel opened the door to her Condo then  galloped down the stairs and out of the building.

She made her way to the theater, a huge brown building with tons of steps. As Coco neared the end of the stairway, a grey colt greeted her.

"Coco Pommel! Glad to see you! You remember the Colt I hired to manage this production's time and hours?" the grey Stallion nodded towards a Brown gentlecolt with a darker brown mane and an hourglass cutie mark. He nodded at Coco.

"oh, yes, Director. Doctor Whooves, isnt it?" the brown colt nodded again.

Embarrassed at the akward silence that ensued, Coco Pommel attempted to hurry past, only to be stopped by the Director.

"as you are in charge of costume design and also involved in set, I would like you to report to him every day about the progress in both of those departments. Understood?" Coco nodded and blushed deeply as she brushed by both stallions. She was a shy pony by nature, especially around members of the opposite gender, but something about Doctor Whooves made her uncomfortable. She wasn't sure If it was how he seemed to recall memories as if they were pieces of past lives, or the way he referred to himself as "the Doctor". Maybe it was the way he seemed so DIFFERENT, so out of place, so    un-equestrian. Or maybe-

Coco was shaken out of her thoughts by White Mask, the lead actmare.

"Coco, is my costume ready for fitting?"

"uh, yes, Ms. Mask, er, just let me get it, you stay right there... Oh, um, actually why don't you go straight to the fitting room, I'll meet you there." coco flashed White Mask a nervous half-smile and galloped off into the rush, stepping into her room, grabbing a couple costumes and ran back, taking the two special corridor turns into the private changing rooms. As White Mask changed, coco took a deep breath. Working on Marespray was chaotic, yes, crazy, yes, but she was ever grateful to Rarity for getting her this job. She loved it. And she KNEW she would never leave. At least until the fitting was over and she was back in her workroom. And somepony grabbed her hoof and whispered "Run"
