It was a lovely day in Ponyville, everypony was as happy as ever, except for Spike, right after he's been through, he was worried about Twilight, when he was at the Everfree Forest and got turned to stone, when he grow up into a big dragon, when he left Twilight at the wedding, Trixie putted a shield so Twilight can't go into Ponyville after that magic duel and said sorry to Twilight about not listening to her and when he was in a bubble for Lord Tirek's plan to get Twilight's powers, he was very sad about those things he's been through.
One day, he was walking through Ponyville, looking down at the ground, looking upset and a few tears rolled down his eyes, Twilight's friends Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy was walking to Rarity's house to look at Rarity's new dresses she had made three weeks ago when they saw Spike walking along looking upset, the Mane 5 looked worried, so they went to Spike to see what's wrong.
"Spike, what's wrong?" Asked Rarity in a sweet caring voice.
"(Sniffs) Nothing, I'm fine" said Spike trying to hold back his crying.
"Sugarcube, you know you can tell us about anything" said Applejack trying to help Spike.
Spike couldn't hold it anymore, so he told them about why he was upset, Rainbow Dash know Twilight needs to hear about it, so after Spike has finish explaining why he was upset, she flew off to find Twilight, the others however was shocked, now they knew what Spike's problem was, Fluttershy came up to Spike, wrapped her fore-hoofs away Spike, sharing a hug with him, Spike wrapped his hands around Fluttershy, buried his face in Fluttershy's chest and Fluttershy rubbed Spike's back.
"Oh Spike, you poor little dragon, and you're right, those things happened to Twilight before, but nothing will happen to Twilight again, I promise" said Fluttershy as Spike continued to cry in Fluttershy's chest.
Then Rainbow Dash came back.
"How is he Fluttershy?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Not too good, where were you anyway?" Asked Fluttershy after she had flew off in a hurry.
"I was at Twilight's castle, telling her about Spike, and she was so upset about hearing what Spike said, and wants him to see her" explained Rainbow Dash.
"Ok (sniff)" sobbed Spike.
"Do you need help getting there Spike?" Asked Pinkie Pie.
"(Sniff) No thanks, I think (sniff) I can get there myself" said Spike after washing off his last tear.
"Ok sugarcube, good luck" said Applejack kissing him on the head.
Fluttershy and Spike broke their hug then Spike walked back to the castle to see Twilight, when he got home, he went upstairs to find Twilight, he went to the bedroom and see Twilight on her bed reading a book.
"Uh, Twilight" said Spike.
Twilight looked at Spike standing nearby her bed.
"Oh Spike, nice to see you back, please, come here" said Twilight in a sweet mother voice.
Spike walked to the bed, got onto Twilight's bed and sat down on the bed next to Twilight.
"So Rainbow Dash has told me about you today, is there anything else I need to know?" Asked Twilight.
Spike looked down.
"Please Spike, I care about you and I want to help you" said Twilight trying her best to help her number one assistant.
Spike couldn't hold it anymore, there were new tears coming from Spike's eyes, Spike started to cry again.
"I'm scared, (sniff) every since I'm with you or not, something bad happens to you, and it hurts me cause I love you and I never want to see you gone!" Said Spike in a shouting voice so Twilight can hear him speak while he was crying.
Twilight feels bad for Spike, the bad things that Rainbow Dash has told her about Spike was the things that happened to her was making Spike scared, they were true, so Twilight gently picked Spike up, putted him on her lap, wrapped her fore- hoofs away him, Spike buried his face in Twilight's chest while crying and Twilight gently rubbed her hoof up and down Spike's back.
"Shh, it's ok Spike, it's ok, I'm here now, shh" cooed Twilight.
Soon as it was nighttime, Spike's crying has stopped, but still had his face in Twilight's chest and Twilight still rubbed his back.
"Feeling better now?" Asked Twilight.
"(Sniff) Yes" said Spike washing his last tear.
"Good, cause you don't have to worry about me, cause I'm always here for you, and nothing will happen to me again" said Twilight as she kissed Spike on the head.
"Thank you Twilight" said Spike as he continued to hug Twilight and Twilight continued to hug Spike.
"I'll tell you what Spike, why don't you sleep with me in my bed tonight? Said Twilight.
"Yes please, I can do with a curdle tonight" said Spike.
Twilight smiled, so she got into bed along with Spike, pulled the covers over them, Twilght hold Spike closer to her for a nice nighttime curdle, and Spike hugged her while Twilight was curdling him.
"Good night Twilight" yawned Spike.
"Good night Spike, sweet dreams" said Twilight as they both fell asleep together.
